When you practice, you will get several clients who use unethical or immoral or illegal ways to gain wealth. (A client who sticks to the morals and yet gains wealth is very rare.) Analyse your really wealthy client charts and you will see that their wealth, initially or continually, is linked to bending/ breaking of rules, illegal activities, shady dealings etc. This sort of wealth is Rajasic and Tamasic and it does not grant genuine happiness. And such families who live on such wealth generally have problems with their children. Generally the children have disabilities, may be ill or short lived or be emotionally unstable or mentally challenged or have undesirable behaviour patterns or issues with their marriages etc. (There was a question thus this post).

When you bring in and use this Rajasic or Tamasic wealth, everyone in the family starts suffering in some way or the other. And the children suffer the most.

• Rajasic wealth is generated when you bend the rules to gain. You do not actively harm other people but you play in the grey areas of the system to gain wealth. You indirectly cause harm others.
• And tamasic wealth is generated when you break the rules, actively engage in criminal activities or actually harm others or loot assets from others to gain.

Astrologically wealth and children are interlinked.

Gains are the domain of the 11^th house. All the gains that you get by your actions or the gains which your environment can confer on you are seen from the 11^th house. These gains can be emotional, spiritual, material etc, the type of gain will depend on the individual chart. To gain anything at all in life, a strong 11^th house is essential. And every planet in the 11^th house will give some sort of gain. Naturally cruel planets give you a sharpness, a different level of boldness when creating wealth. Naturally gentle planets give wealth through more peaceful means. Even functional malefics and cruel/ kroor graha give gain in some way or the other when placed in the 11^th. Chart specific malefic planets will give Rajasic or Tamasic wealth and the chart specific benefic planets placed in the 11^th give Satvik wealth.

Never forget that the 11^th house of gains is also the strongest trishaday house. So it takes lot of will power to avoid short cuts to wealth. Most of us wont mind it if we can get some ‘free money’ or ‘gain at other’s expense’ if we can get away with it. Being dishonest is rather easy in these current times. And once money starts coming in, the mind gets caught up in it and desires more and more. So in most of the charts you analyse, their wealth will be rajasic, sometimes tamasic and very rarely Satvik.

Then on the other side of the 11^th is the 5^th house. The house of creativity, genius and the confidence to display your ability in front of everyone. How you use your potential is determined by the 5^th house, it is your ability to tap into your subconscious resources to generate something visible. Every planet here is capable of bringing out your creative side. He will grant you some sort of visibility, in his own way. eg Rahu in the 5^th house even if afflicted by malefics will enhance your creative genius, give you a rare confidence, make you chase the stage. Even apathetic Ketu in the 5^th will instinctively put you on the stage and you will get applauded, even if it does not register to your mind. If naturally cruel but benefic planets in the 5^th, then you will be known for some rare act of bravery, eg you may be a decorated soldier. Analyse the 5^th in depth to know what you can be famous for. And producing children is the most visible act of creative genius, so the 5^th can also indicate what your children will be famous for.

Houses 7^th from each other, drain each others resources. eg If you have a very strong 11^th and a weak 5^th then you will be more interested in your friend circle rather than be involved in your children. You will gain more through networking rather than through original ideas. The keywords of the 11^th will dominate and the keywords of the 5^th will less interesting to your mind. But you will be highly successful in the matters of the 11th house. Or the other way round if the 5^th is very strong coupled with a weak 11^th then you will be a superlative genius but you will not get an admiring audience.

Suppose you have a very strong 11^th capable of giving extraordinary wealth which, as we have seen, will be mostly Rajasic or Tamasic. As the strongest trishaday gives you extraordinary gains it simultaneously spoils the 5th aspects of your life, there is no avoiding this. Children will suffer in some way or the other. At the very least your relationship with your children will not be good. You can of course reduce the impact by doing remedies from time to time but the basic minimum will have to be endured. And one more thing, the 5th is for children but it also indicates lovers. (The spouse is seen from the 7th and to some extent the 9th). From the astrological point of view, love affairs which do not culminate in marriage are a connected to personal selfishness and self-centered behaviour. So it is equally possible that you will have extra martial affairs from time to time or a pattern of short lived marriages/divorces. Or remain with one legal wife for social reasons and maintain several girlfriends behind her back. A weak 5th coupled with a strong 11th will give this pattern in some form. If this pattern is seen then the children will also have problems in their marriages later. The daughters, if they are lucky and marry into a more ethical household will see lesser impact. But for the sons, this pattern will repeat in some form and the daughter-in-laws, women who marry in to this family will suffer more.

But if the 5^th is also equally extraordinary then the children too will be interested in gaining wealth through rajasic and tamasic means. And the problems will be evident in the next grandchildren generation.

In the rarest case if the charts show a high level of spiritual evolution and the 5th and 11th are equally strong, then the Satvik gun is predominant. These families understand that this wealth they enjoy is through the blessing of the Devi Shri and they maintain a sense of gratitude and respect for Her. Then the entire family will be healthy, emotionally strong, be spiritually oriented etc. Marriages will be long lasting, stable and there will be peace and overall harmony in the household.

Observe your life and the environment in your home. If you are more inclined towards Rajasic and Tamasic wealth then the logical solution is to try to change your behaviour and your business patterns. If you cannot completely avoid, then at least reduce? Change your business to a more ethical one if you can.

Also to reduce the negative effects, regularly perform pujas for Gruhshanti, nakshatrashanti, Kuldevata worship, Shri Ganapati pujas, Shri Vishnu-Laxmi pujas, Shri Shankar-Parvati pujas etc. Go for pilgrimages at temples which are at least 500+ yrs old and where continuous pujas are being performed. Use a portion of your wealth for repairs etc in such temples. Daana in its various forms will also be essential. As per Rishi Parashar mantra and daana are the only two remedies for all life problems. eg Annadaan ie setting up regular Bhandara/ Santbhojan on auspicious days in a temple near where you live is also a good remedy. Finally do some regular personal puja for at least 5mins in the morning and in the evening to ‘hold’ your remedies together.
