Use and misuse of tantra: Tips for protection

Last Updated on October 30, 2024 by Tejaswini

Tantra is how you use the power of mantras in a specific manner for fast results. Unfortunately Tantra is now called ‘black magic’ and most people are scared of it and rightly so. There are six ways of using mantra to manifest results. And it depends on your intention. So choose your intention wisely. eg the Devi Siddhakunjika can be used for maran/ death, maaran/killing, mohan/hypnosis, stambhan/freezing the energies, ucchatan/removal of energies, etc. When using tantra remember that the choice is yours and the karmic repercussions too are yours alone.

There are very few genuine practitioners who know where to use tantra, how to use it and to what extent. But there are several unethical practitioners who for some money are willing to do literally anything for the client. And these are the ‘black magic’ practitioners.

These so called ‘tantric attacks’ primarily affect the subtle body, the Sookshma sharir. And if the victim does not realise what has happened and does not go for help then soon the energy percolates into the physical body and causes severe damage, inside out. A short window of time is available to remove the energy of the attack.

Certain charts are inherently vulnerable to attacks on the subtle body. We can use the horoscope to gauge this vulnerability.

The main planet to be analysed is Ketu. Especially so, if he in the ascendant sign, with the ascendant lord, or the Moon then this is an indication of a high susceptibility to energy attacks. If Ketu gets involved with other planets then it can be used to analyse susceptibility to other types of attack that can occur in life. Especially so if he is associated with the other cruel planets, kroor graha – Sun, Saturn and Mars.

  • Ketu with Mars can make you more susceptible to accidents which are linked to these astral forces. These will primarily affect your pranmaykosh.
  • Ketu with Saturn will affect your capacity to analyse things pragmatically. You will make small mistakes which can lead to bigger trouble.
  • Ketu with Sun can twist your creative genius and create ego issues which lead to overestimating the self and thus getting to trouble.

But on the other hand, this same Ketu can help you by making certain energies accessible. If you are susceptible to energy attacks on your subtle body then it is quite possible that you also have the potential to strengthen this astral energy body. Especially so, if your ascendant lord is well placed and your Moon is strong or at least protected by other planets.

So here are some tips which will help you proactively protect yourself.

  • First if you are a student of Jyotish then you should analyse your chart in depth. Note the connection between Ketu and the other planets, the houses and the signs.
  • Note if he is conjunct the major planets eg – Ascendant lord, birth Moon, Saturn or Mars. Or if he is placed in the Ascendant sign. Then you have a greater sensitively to the astral planes.
  • Next is to note the more sensitive Dasha periods. This would be the Mahadasha of Ketu or Rahu. Also the Antardasha of Rahu or Ketu in the Mahadasha of the conjunct planet ie – Ascendant lord, birth Moon, Saturn or Mars as per your birth chart.
  • Finally note the trigger transits – This would be the transit of Ketu, Rahu, Mars or Saturn over sensitive points of your chart. These would be their birth positions, birth Moon, 6th 8th 12th house etc.
  • Now note the keywords of the planet who is conjunct Ketu. This will give you the susceptible areas of your life. Eg Mars + Ketu can make you accident prone. Or Ketu + birth Moon can mean hauntings and unnecessary interference from spirits etc.
  • Also note the people who are represented by this planet, house, sign. Eg the 4th house means your maternal relatives, older or maternal type of women, etc. Or Gemini can mean your neighbours. Or Saturn can indicate the elderly people you know. These people, as indicated by the personal horoscope, might suddenly appear in your life in these trigger times. They seem helpful, nice and supportive so you might trust them or think them to be your friends. But they eventually they cause deep seated problems which affect your more on the energy level. Ie your pran/ vital energy flow, your emotions or your intelligence ie your subtle body can be affected by their actions. And recovering from this will take a long time.

Events linked especially with Ketu will always give some sign, an omen which, if you are alert, can be interpreted. Shakun shastra, the art of reading omens is an integral part of of Jyotish. Or if you open the standard books on Prashna Kundali, there will a chapter on interpreting omens. Every Jyotishi must have a working knowledge of shakun, it is essential. (For example in the Mahabharat, the King of Gandhar, Shakuni was given the title ‘Shakuni’ because he was an expert at reading omens. It says a lot about his skills that the Mahabharat refers to him only by his title.)

  • So keep track of your dreams. Make this a life time habit, keep a dream journal and try to note the patterns of your subconscious mind (this post). If you get dreams with cruel or poisonous animals, or if someone is trying to forcibly enter your house etc.
  • Or if you are a normally fearless person but suddenly you develop a fear of the dark or feel like someone is standing behind you, ie you start getting the creeps, then these are early warning signs which you should not ignore. Take corrective action as soon as you notice these omens.

And if you have a chart more susceptible to astral energies then do not get caught in tempting get-rich-quick remedies or get involved with dubious practitioners. Avoid ‘modern age mantras’ which do not have a Vedic connect. Do pujas of standard deities from the Ved. Also do not accept food or water or any such item from someone you do not trust. Do not engage ‘remedies’ or activities which influence other’s free will or can potentially hurt others, ie do not engage in maran, maaran, mohan, vidveshan, or vashikaran types of activities yourself. These will eventually blow up in your face.

Then a remedy for the students of astrology. This is to strengthen the kroor graha, the cruel planets in your chart. But before doing this you have to study your chart properly and find the correct planet who will help you. You can strengthen your Sun, Mars, Saturn or even Rahu depending on which of these is situated to protect you. The harsh energies of these harsh planets will help you handle these aggressions on the astral level. They will give you the rough courage necessary to boldly face and overcome these invasive energies.

Generally these ‘black magic’ activities are performed in at some temple, or at river banks, in forests, at places where 3 roads meet etc. The most powerful ones are done at the shmashan bhoomi. But the worst ones are done in places where dead bodies are buried or in sites of disasters. So be mindful of your surroundings, the omens, or things lying on the road etc if you cross such locations in your routine life.

Then Midnight, midday, evening twilight, eclipse times are favoured for these activities. And tithis like Amavasya, Purnima, ashtami create more powerful energies which can be harnessed by unscrupulous practitioners. Tuesdays and Saturdays are the more powerful vaar/days which can be channelised for such activities.

If you are more susceptible to such attacks then you should be more alert on these days. It would be even better if you proactively use the energies of these days to increase your own protection by doing your own mantras etc.

Tantra is a way of expanding your consciousness with the full protection of your adored deity. But this has a significant potential for misuse as unethical practitioners exist who exploit these energies for harmful purposes. But energy by itself is neutral. it is the intention which gives it a positive or negative direction. So everyone can take proactive measures to protect themselves using common sense tips coupled with tips from Jyotish. So if you feel up to it do use the power of tantra to remain protected in life.

      Hi there
most offices have a HR dept whose job is to handle these issues.
Especially if this has sexual implications then it is a crime and you can approach the police.
if you live in India then there is a Vishakha committee under the law in every office which handles these things.

Mam thank you so much for your reply. I don’t live in India. I have contacted HR but still scared as my boss has started intimidating and threatening me. Not sexually though. It’s office politics. I don’t know who to turn to. Should I consult someone who does spell work /Voodoo to out an end to this?

        Hi there
then if you are clear that you are are safe then you can try this –

stand before your source of faith as per your family traditions/choice/culture
if you do not have any such source, then stand before the rising sun.
take some sugar, hold it in your hands. intend that whoever eats this will behave nicely and fairly towards everyone. pour your intention very strongly into the crystals. visualise the ‘niceness’ ‘fairness’
mix this sugar in the common sugar pot which your office people add to their tea/coffee.
        it will work.

        but remember
if you ask for only yourself, it will attract negative karma
if you ask for general welfare/ good it includes you also and you will get positive karma

Hello Ma’am this is related to another blog post of yours related to abortion and its implications, sorry am posting here as couldn’t find the comments section there, is Bramhakapal near Badrinath, the only place to carry out the shraddh karma or can it be done at other locations like Kapaal Mochan in Kashi, Gaya, Rameshwaram or Trimbekeshwar? Could you kindly share your insights 🙏

If our ancestors have knowledge of black magic,Maran etc,why they have not used against attackers like Aurangzeb,Gazani,Ghori, who have broken our holy temples and violeted our holy places. They must have been punished,by using this rich knowledge of tantra. Now a days, also this knowledge of tantra is useful,to punish this type of cruel peoples.

        Namaste Madam,

This is a very good answer to a common question that everyone has. Why did we get plundered like this?

I think at some level we all expect devatas to physically come and wage the war for us, the humankind 🙂 And you have mentioned several times the timeline of all the missteps in the history of the land.

More people should practice our tradition with conviction like the followers of other religions

        Pranam.

        Hi there
my Guru would often tell a story

one Guru told a King that he would always be undefeated, will always win in war.
so this King got overconfident/ careless etc and another King waged war, defeated him, captured him and was going to execute him
so he got the one last wish
he said he wanted to talk to that Guru
So the Guru was brought there.
the defeated King asked him how is it that he got defeated, did not win despite the blessings etc.
the Guru said that he never told him to get careless or overconfident or stop training for war. if he did not fight then there is no question of winning.

you have to fight. you have to work. only then you will succeed
you cannot get cocky, overconfident, egoistic… think that you are the vishwaguru and just laze around expecting things to fall in place. it does not work like that. if you do this you will be defeated and executed just like the defeated king..

we have stopped doing our pujas, learning, teaching
we have stopped training for conflict, governing, ruling
we have stopped trading effectively, we do not know the value of the things we have
we have stopped production of useful items
our Gurus have told us to do all these things. we have stopped doing it. so what do you expect?

the others are doing their regular rituals, they work, they keep their bodies/minds fit, are disciplined, they obey their Gurus whoever they are… etc. they are taking efforts.

so if there is a conflict, who do you think will win?

Everyone believes in karma when something bad happens to another. When it happens to us we don’t think “Maybe this happened because I need to correct something in my energy.” Is it possible India has negative societal karma that it needs to clear up and this is why the door was open for invaders to come in, take over, and destroy temples?

      1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
law of karma cannot be avoided. that is true – it is managed by the Antaryami Ishwar, the karmaphaladata, the Sagun Brahma

the karma is enforced by the Sagun ishwar = samasti karan prapancha this is the aggregate causal bodies of every thing which has been manifested in this creation.

some karmic fruits are weak, some are strong.
strong ones cannot be avioded, but can be reduced in intensity.
        weak ones can be nullified
and this happens when we exercise our free will.

free will is operated by the vyahti sookshma prapancha /astral or subtle body of the individuals.

if your free will is strong then u can nullify the weak karmic fruits and reduce the intensity of the strong karmic fruits.

i have used a few sanskrit words here as there are no adequate words i can use to translate them to in english.

        so in case of Bharat,
we stopped exercising our free will, stopped doing our karma, stopped karma kaand, stopped following ved purva, stopped behaving in a overall dharmic manner. that is why this happened. and this will continue to happen unless we start doing our pujas again, learn sanskrit, read our texts again, understand things, ie stop being such a confused, scared and headless lot.

any society which forgets its roots will be taken over by another. either by soft power or hard power.
if you forget who you are, stop being confident about your self, your heritage, your practices, your culture, your Shaastra, you will be wiped out, sooner or later.

I love visiting graveyards as well as I feel a pull towards them. Will it help if I sit there and pray? I apologise if my thoughts sound morbid. But I do want to know what’s behind the veil.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
i do not recommend anyone ‘visiting’ any place where the dead bodies are kept/ buried/ cremated etc.

it would be better to go to some natural areas, open spaces, parks etc. or to the temples, places where the people of your faith /religion worship

to connect with the astral realms, do dhyan
recite your mantra with your breath, focus on your 3rd eye
see what it shows you within yourself

    Hello! 🙂
Thank you for this interesting article, it adds to your older articles on psychic attacks and astral recovery.

Re remedial measures for susceptible charts would you elaborate on strengthening Rahu in Ketu dominant charts?
If Ketu is Yogkarak, his transits over planets are beneficial but timing analysis shows heightened susceptibility connected to Rahu transits should a specific Rahu modality or fasting on Saturday be considered?

As per Lagna is it strategically advised to strengthen a kroor graha yogkarak for this lagna eg Saturn for Taurus & Libra or Mars for Cancer & Leo …
or rather remediation of most malefic graha per lagna e.g. Saturn for Leo & Cancer…
or going by individual analysis of timing examples when attacks happened by houses, their Shadbala, divisionals etc pp?

This leads to another question about conditions of susceptibility and how it increases in configurations like stelliums aka planetary wars, Amavasya and solar eclipse births & similar conditions where many planets are connected in a small number of houses therefore receive by default lowered Ishtha and Drigbala scores. In several articles like the Drigbala one you pointed this out but what can be done for improvement of such charts?
More planets are interconnected with lower strengths in comparison to a charts which just have Ketu in Lagna, with Lagnesh or with Moon placed apart from additional graha. Can it be estimated that energy of an attack can target or bounce around all interconnected graha at once?

Do all graha then need simultaneous remediation eg on weekly basis each graha on its day with mantra, meditation and behavioral acknowledgement?

Kind regards, gratitude for your knowledge and wisdom, V 💫

      Hi there
Will put a small post or a video on the Rahu part.

You can fast once a week.
Ideally everyone should fast on the Ekadashi tithi, it takes care of so many things. You can check the panchang for the day. It will be once in a fortnight.

In fact today was Nirjala Bhimseni Ekadashi. This one day in the year, we should not drink water or eat food from sunrise to sunrise. But fasting should be as per age, health and common sense.

If you have mars of saturn as your yogkaraks, then by all means strengthen them, they will grant you benefits. Albeit in their rough manner but you will be able to easily adjust to that.

Most malefic planet – Giving daan is always useful.
but beyond that you should consult your astrologer for chart specific actions

Astral attacks for charts with Ketu involved – check the 6th house and esp the Moon. If the Moon is not comfortable then it can really become quite tedious.

Daily pujas are necessary. I wrote a post on the easiest daily routine. But you can do whatever you want. Just stick to it. Do something daily. Whatever, as per your culture/ tradition/ family etc. but do something. This ‘holds’ your life together.
You develop that mental strenght to handle things. You don’t get scared. And that is the main thing.

      There is one simple mantra,
      Om brahmaa muraari tripuraantakaari,
      Bhanu shashi bhoomisutah budhascha
      Guruscha shukra, Shani rahuketavah
      Sarve graha shaantikarah bhavantu.

This is routinely recited daily, it address the Om = pranav mantra. The 3 Gun, satva Raja tamah and the 9 planets.

If the Moon is involved, he will drag in the rest of them. He controls the ajnya chakra so he distributes the energy downwards to the rest. If he is unable to function properly then the entire personality remains in a state of imbalance.

If ketu is unable to function then you do not have access to information which can get you out of this mess.

      1. vlux Avatar

Thank you for kindly answering questions and making a small post about Rahu!
Will look into Ekadashi and practice the mantra you wrote, thanks 💐

I fast from food every Tuesday for Mars for about 5 years. Mangal Dasha finished so I thought of fasting Saturday and Thursday instead.
Leo rising, Sun Ketu on same degree with ruler of 5th Jupiter in 4th and Moon Mercury in 5th.

Before I practiced as per my tradition and personal learning phases like fasting at certain times in prep for harvesting herbs for medicinal uses and making remedies, silence, abstinence from societal interactions, solitude in nature, veneration of rivers, mountains, frugal eating, daily meditation etc.
During the pandemic I couldn’t continue as usual which made my aura more susceptible, probably also due to feeling collective energy of fear during lockdowns.

If neither me nor my family belongs to organized religion for generations but elders did their best to keep a bit of ancient knowledge from their different Soviet folklore practices, divination, herbalism, kitchen magic etc and their style of simple fixed stars astrology – can I do my family practice in place of Kuldevata and add as Ishtadevata practices of Sanatan Dharma as per my conscience?

        Thank you, respectfully, V

        Hi there

I wrote several posts on Ketu, and one on ketu with asc lord which you may find useful.

Fasting one day a week or one day in a fortnight is good enough.
And if you do not want to fast in the entire year, then the one day fast of nirjala Bhimseni Ekadashi at least should be followed.

And Tuesdays is more than just Mangal.
It also links up to Bhagwan Ganesh, who is the destroyers of impediments on all levels. Then it’s the day for worshiping fierce forms of deities. Also it’s suitable for all mantra use.

There are 3 stages of self-realisation
        1. Depend on an external deity – school level – all the religions are still at this level. They consider their Teacher as this deity, a god, son of god, messenger of god etc. the adherents think that they are not equivalent even to the dust under their ‘god’s feet.
        2. Depend on the external deity but now the adherents think that the deity holds them in his/her hands. That is they now think that the deity is a the universal energy and they are a small part of this energy. This is college level concept.
        3. Assert that they and their deity are the exact same consciousness. This is PhD level and the Jnyan kaand/ Vedant/ Upanishad of sanatan dharma arrives at this logically.

I wrote a summary post here.
        https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2023/09/08/vedant-a-summary/

Follow your conscience in these matters related to spiritual practice.

If you are from Russia, or can speak Russian then I would suggest that you try to learn Sanskrit. As it is, Russian is about 80% Sanskrit. You would have to only learn the Devnagri script.
Or at least listen to Sanskrit mantra. It will open up the internal things. As this language connects to the internal energies – chakra, Nadi pran etc.

If you have a traditional deity from your home culture / tradition then you should worship this deity as per your practices.
See, as long as we live in the society, the family unit is of critical importance and the Kuldevata /family deity helps maintain the energy of the family.
the departed ancestors, the coming new generations etc are all connected via this deity.
Whatever your parents have taught you, it is your duty to pass it on to your children. This is the rule of the society.
This is how we repay the debt we owe to our parents.
(Unless maybe these things are illegal or somethings not suitable for this age/time)

Ishtadevata is a personal god. he is like your best friend, your personal guide. We can find out this energy using the tips from the horoscope.
You can choose this ray of light as per your mindset.
Sanatan dharma gives us the freedom to choose.
You can choose a baby deity, a child deity, a mother deity, a father deity, a friend deity, whatever suits your mind. But once you choose be sincere about it. That is all that is expected.
And if you do not wish to worship a deity, then sanatan dharma has no issues with this also, that also is fine 🙂

Conscience is King. this means that you should think things through. use your intelligence
enjoy the emotions thoroughly but keep a part of your mind fixed on the intelligence part too.

      Hi there
these words are from the Upanishads. they are referred to in almost all of them and specifically discussed in Mandukya and then again in Bruhataranyak.
and they are repeated several times in the Bhagwat Gita
      and obviously in the Brahmasutra.

these are all the standard books of our Dharma. available freely in Sanskrit

but the problem is that there are very rare Gurus who teach these texts as they should be taught.
‘Upanishad’ means that you have to learn it sitting next to a Guru. no other way.

But the good news is that if you are sincere with your Vedpurava = Karmakaand and Upasanakaand, a genuine Guru will appear to teach you Jnyan kaand.
      so do your daily pujas,
read one shlok of the Bhagwat Gita in sanskrit daily
      and be sincere about it.
it will all work positively for you

i have briefly touched on the topic in this post
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/06/01/panch-kosh-the-five-energy-layers-of-the-soul/

      in short
sthool – the individual is the jivatma here called the vishva and the associated sthool prapancha/universe is called the virat
sukshma – the individual is the jivatma here called the taijasa and the associated sookshma prapancha/universe is called the hiranyagarbha
sushupti – the individual is the jivatma here called the prajnya and the associated sushupti prapancha/universe is called the antaryami ishwar
always the individual level is called vyashthi
and the summary universe is called samashti

start learning sanskrit, else jnyan kaand will take a few more lifetimes.

this is a part of the jnyan kaand so will be comprehensible only after the karmakaand and upasanakaand is effectively absorbed by the mind

modern science talks about several evolution theories but it has been unable to prove any of them.
i have a PhD in Zoology so i do know all these concepts.
but there should have been at least one experiment where some ‘evolution’ should have been demonstrated, at least in the some insect species or something.

so as of now i do not have any ‘modern science’ answer on this question

personally i accept the nasadiya sukta. the purush sukta ..
but i do not think that ‘modern sensibilities’ would accept the Vedic concept.

I have always loved learning, but since past few weeks I am kind of obsessed with using chatGPT and asking varied questions (ranging from history, scriptures ,tarot to fashion) and quite in awe with its detailed summarized answers.

will this behaviour effect negatively or help balance it out?

        Thank you so much!

        Regards
        Urvi

    Namaste Tejaswini Ji,

Thankyou so much for amazing posts as always. I am so obsessed to read your posts every day. One random number I think of any from ( 1-750)and just start reading that article on that particular day. I feel so motivated and happy reading the blog. Thankyou again.

Off the topic , please can you help with following .

When you get sometime can you write/small video about planets that need to be supportive for getting knowledge on subjects related to dance/music/violin/veena/drums or any art related work etc.

I think native should have strong Moon and Venus and Jupiter. I have been learning astrology since 4 years and Carnatic Violin since 8years but kind of dissatisfied with Violin compared to astrology.

    Thankyou so much

      Hi there
      thanks for the compliments 🙂

yes, venus, moon, jupiter is necessary
also mercury depending on the art,
      5th is also needed
      for public performances 10th needed
a good sun will grant genuine creativity, needed for composers

on a personal level, i can sing, draw, do crafts like paint, crochet, knit, macrame, anything with threads/knots. i even made myself leather sandals once 🙂
i can play the harmonica, sitar, flute, harmonium. flute is my favourite instrument. i learnt for bharatnatyam just for a year or so when i was a child.
once i picked up my son’s nunchucks and to my utter surprise i could do the exercises nicely without hitting myself and that too in the first attempt.
but, i do not have that endurance to actually complete a project, that is i do not feel the need to actually become an expert in any artistic thing.

      so saturn is also needed

you will have to look at the entire horoscope holistically.

    Namaskar,

I have Ketu in 1st house with Leo Ascendant & Scorpio Moon Sign. I recently got Rahu-Ketu Shanti Puja done at a Jyotirlinga site located in Maharashtra. I reached home next day & slept well at night but once I woke up in the morning, I could vividly remember being uneasy during my sleep with constant feeling of someone trying to climb/latch on my back and me fighting hard to remove that weight from my body- Is it some kind of astral/psychic attack? If someone previously did black-magic on me or home- doesn’t pujas done in highly spiritually pious Kshetras of deities negate the effect or does it again have impact on us irrespective of our spiritual activities? We generally do our daily pujas too at home. Your insight would be of much help. Also, if you could write a post on dreams plus their connections with psychic/astral attack in sleep. Thank you

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
i have written several posts on all these topics – dreams, soul in dream state, astral travel, psychic attacks and psychic defense, entities, ghosts, hauntings, evil eye, cleansing, energy work, etc

do ref the index page once and see if these are useful for u.

did your Shanti puja also include removal of the black magic?
pujas will not automatically negate the things unless you had taken some sankalp for this part.

doing daily pujas is necessary and compulsory
but also do remove the evil eye every tuesdays/saturdays.

Madam No authentic authority of Hinduism allows Animal Sacrifice, yet in the coastal regions of Malabar, this is practiced, I understand they practice a form of tantra or vamachara or the left handed path, so is then animal sacrifice allowed in Hinduism with a few exceptions?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there

animal sacrifice is done in all ugra devata temples.
the energy of this is absorbed by the gan /attendants of the devata.

and a lot of practices have been corrupted over the eons.

when a animal which can feel/think dies, the energies of the death moment are very intense. (even when our family members die, we are supposed to recite mantra during the process so that the energies are channelised.)
that unscrupulous practitioners can use this energy to power their intentions.
normally this is done by breaking a coconut. the intense energy of breaking a coconut is equivalent.
but the death energies are more fascinating as the soul who has just left the body can now be used as a servant for some work which otherwise is not possible.
these practitioners use these. and most release these after their work is done. also a energy reward is given to them for their work.
but some are more cruel, they pass on these servants to their disciples, etc.
this is a world which normal people should avoid getting into.

there is one religion which does animal sacrifice on a tremendous level. if you can sense energies, you should be able to sense the surge in the negativity on this one day in the year.

in Hinduism we have complete freedom of action.
and then the law of karma works and whatever fruits that action has generated they will have to be enjoyed/endured.

      the sequence is this
vasaana – inbuilt tendencies which have been ingrained for lifetimes
then action/ karma – based on the vaasana
then karmic fruit which fructifies with time – endure /enjoy

      simple eg
you drink morning coffee out of choice for 1 day
then a few more days – vaasana is being created
then after a month the first thing you want is coffee. it comes automatically
then you have no control over your vaasana so you drink coffee for years
      then some health complication
the Dr tells u to stop drinking morning coffee
coffee vaasana and coffee karma has cost your heath.

or you do suryanamaskar, it will take efforts to do this. but if you can generate that mental impression / vaasana for yog, your health will improve

      the choice is yours
you should choose these items/ actions carefully . these will with time become vaasana, karma and karmic fruit.

        1. Lord Manu, YajurVeda,loRD Patanjali’S Yoga sutra’s first yama itself is Ahimsa, so is it possible that even in Ugra devata temples this practise is an aberration, perhaps a practise foisted upon us by the invaders?
        2. if at all animal sacrifices were done, its not far fetched to think then Nara Bali was practised, I can never ever imagine anyone from our glorious past ever recommending that.

        3. BALI has been hijacked to mean “sacrifice” when it actually means an “offering of gratitude”.

Thank you madam ji for taking the time to explain, these practise goes against everything I believe in, but I also know about how effective the practices in the Malabar regions, I’m more confused then ever.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
‘ahimsa’ concept is not for vedpurva – karmakaand. it is not for the gruhasta it is not for vaanprastha.
it is applicable only to jnyankaand/ vedant, ie to the sanyasi. and it has a very differnet meaning from what it is generally understood to be.
this word has messed up the entire thinking process of our nation.
we have really no idea as to which concept should be applied where.
this is because of a lack of genuine teachers.
if i had one wish i would wish for genuine Brahmins to somehow appear, who would guide the society to follow the vedpurva properly.

Bali in Sanskrit means strength, or the strong person. Bali does not mean ‘offering of gratitude”

sacrificing a human was rare but yes, it was practised and maybe a few hundred yrs ago. today it is illegal and someone doing this should be put in jail.
few Hindus practice animal sacrifice in secret, as it is illegal (however one religion does massive animal sacrifice even now and openly)
today Hindus practice coconut sacrifice, or pumpkin sacrifice.

i do not judge anyone or anything for what they think or do. this is not my domain. if someone wants to get energy from these actions, its between him and his conscience, nothing to do with me.

but i will elaborate a bit.
you may believe it or not, that is between you and your intelligence.

if the practitioner is genuine then he will amplify the energy released at the exit. some he will use for his own intention. and use a part of the energy generated to push the soul into a higher energy route and this will ensure that the animal gets a human birth.
earlier for a human sacrifice the man had to agree. he had to prepare his mind for the event. and the energy generated would ensure that he would get a big boost in his personal spiritual progress in the next life. we are Hindus, we think of this body as a dress which we are wearing for sometime and accept that it will change.
but the genuine practitioners, genuine Tantra etc all went away as our books, our teachers were all killed by the invaders. today i do not think that there are such genuine practitioners available.

if the practitioner not genuine then the soul will turn into a entity. because the practitioner has not pushed him on to a higher energy route. and this will attack the practitioner when he himself is exiting the body. this is the most dangerous moment in a person’s life, the time of entry and the time of exit. there is very high level of vulnerability. such practitioners forget this in their desire for fast gains etc. but karma does not forget and the souls they have hurt also will not forget to get their due.

Namaskar Madam, I still find it extremely difficult to digest what you have said, quick queries,
    1. In sanskrit, does not Bala mean strength or child and I thought ever since the age of King Mahabali, Bali always meant sacrifice?
    2. Is there an authentic source where all this is mentioned, madam from what I have seen, you usually talk only about things that you have direct experience with, isn’t this speculation on your part?
Thank you for providing such a detailed explanation of this practice.

Hello, I have two questions please. For someone who has been spiritually attacked already. How can that person quickly heal from the damage? It’s quite a lot this time. Secondly, how can that person destroy the link used to reach them? I haven’t spoken to any blood relative in a long time, and don’t even live in the same country with any of them, but yet they are able to still hurt me. It baffles me.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi mam
Can a person change totally.A person who is kind and compassionate has turned into someone who speaks I’ll of others(through some supernatural energy they say they have got to know the true feelings of their relatives) ,uses coarse language to abuse others. Is not letting them inside their home/does not go out and does not want to talk to anyone.
This person has been a devoted spiritual one.
Don’t what is happening and what to do?
    Kindly guide.

      Hi there
this can happen. but this happens only if there is some severe shock to the system.
i recommend you seek some psychological counselling if the person is agreeable. a medical professional can help to some extent.

and on the energy point of view, if you can find someone to check this person’s aura. or you can learn to see the aura. i think you will find the reason here.

      1. prachisrcc Avatar
        prachisrcc

The person does not trust anyone right now.Going through years of trauma processing.Just finished Saturn Venus dasha. They are adamant on their POV,also, the relatives are spreading negativity which is leading to breakdown of the family.

Further ,they are constantly listening to a specific kavach for protection.

It’s like energetically I can’t feel this person anymore.

Can we do something in this situation.🙏

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
someone i know continually recites the navavarna mantra without the basic precautions. and she became mentally unstable over time. the family had to eventually put her in a care home and there are doctors and nurses attending to her. she is physically fit, is lucid from time to time but the dr does not advise her going back home.

for your relative, as the problem has reached the physical body, i would recommend going to a medical professional. this is necessary for psychiatric counselling, diet, etc. it will make a big difference.

and if the person is agreeable then
at least take him /her to the temple of the kuldevata. see if the Brahmins there can do some pujas for the mental wellbeing.
if the person is listening to the kavach of a Ugra devata then you may have to consult a genuine Brahmin from the temple of that deity.

you are saying that there is change in the aura of the person. and if the aura is wispy /insubstantial /white and if this is your close family then you can ask this person’s children can do some pujas for the health and longevity, at least some shanti hom or something to increase the positive energy of the house and the people living in the house.

Just one last thing, can this be related to magic?
We are simple householders who don’t know much about these and don’t know where to find a genuine person who can support us.

        Hello Tejasvini ji

My brother is an alcoholic. He drinks 24*7. Sometimes even at 5am , 6am. His face changes when is drinks. My Tauji died by suicide and he was an alcoholic big time. We have done Puja at Gaya but I feel that something is wrong. My brother stops drinking all of a sudden as if nothing happened and then after a month or 2 starts again. We don’t know our Kuldevta. I see and hear crows cawing at night over and near our house. I am so so sure there are entities at my home. I sometimes keep rock salt in water in glass in different rooms. In some room it dissolves and in some it doesn’t. My mother health is getting affected big time. I also have Sat mars conjunction in Moola in 4th. We are simple people who don’t know what to do. My mother is a simple woman who says to leave everything to God. This energy is consuming him and he refuse to get help. We admitted him to rehab and he became more mad. He once cried ” bhoot bhoot” . His aura is so dark. My mom cries daily. What can I do to save my family
