The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya is a set of 3 interconnected temples. One has the moorti of Shri Ram as a child. The second one is to have moortis of Shri Ram and Devi Sita. And the third one is proposed to have a full Shri Ram ‘darbar’, ie the moortis of the Shri Ram, Devi Sita, his brothers, Shri Maruti etc. Temples are the ‘sacred spaces’ of Sanatan Dharma, they are the Devalaya, the abode of the Divine.
On 22nd January 2024 the first level of the Ayodhya temple and the child Moorti form of Shri Ram was consecrated. This Pran Prathishta event saw intense jubilation among the devotees of Shri Ram, in Bharat and also throughout the world. This temple is planned on a grand scale and even in this preliminary phase it has catalysed visible unification of the Dharmic people throughout the world. Post Pran Prathishta temple has started functioning and daily pujas have started. Shri Ram has taken his place in this temple, albeit in a moorti which represents him as a child of 5yrs but the main point is that the King has returned.
(I had several questions on ‘now what’?’. Thus this post.)

On the material level, Ayodhya as a city has gained prominence and will flourish on several levels. For our nation Bharat and for all of us devotees who believe in the deity, his blessings will continue to shower. Dharma will become more prominent in our lives.
But do think what happens when a King sits on his throne again after the absence of several years? He hits the ground running, starts putting his kingdom back in order. And with the boost of the pujas combined with the Tapasya of billions of minds he has a lot of power to do this. He will ensure protection, development, good governance etc, the positive functions of the King. But the King is also responsible for maintaining discipline, law and order within the nation. So now everyone must be prepared to work hard. For the love you feel for your Raja Ram, now Act with the emotion of Ishwarsamarpan and accept whatever happens as his Ishwarprasad. This is the only way you can prove yourself in his eyes.
Also think back what had happened in the absence of the King. The institutions responsible for good governance, protection etc became weak. With time, the citizens stopped doing their duties. Producers, Trader, Protectors and Teachers all lost their bearings. This led to weakness in the nation itself and its enemies became bold enough to attack it with an intention to destroy it. We cannot blame the enemies for taking advantage of a weakened nation. We have only ourselves to blame for becoming such a easy target.
So as the jubilation evens out in the next few months, we must all start doing our duties. On material as well as spiritual levels. There is no excuse for being lazy about this. Act you must, the King is watching. He has a hard and long task ahead of him to rebuild the nation and he will not hesitate to discipline and even punish his own citizens if necessary.
First on the physical levels. Start a physical exercise regimen appropriate to your age/health. Give yourself at least 15 mins daily and regain your health. If you have children, then send them to self defence classes. Let the child choose, Kalaripattu to Karate, whatever he /she wants to learn. And learning such physical combat skills in the young age, develops the mind and the body both. This improves the presence of mind, adds agility and adaptability. And these are life time skills. Do not miss this now, this coming generation is going to desperately need this ability.
Then help your body mind stay healthy by eating a balanced diet. This does not mean that you give up Rajasic and Tamasic foods and turn into a monk. This simply means that you should eat everything you can afford or is required but avoid excesses. eg if you need to eat non vegetarian food or drink alcohol for social reasons, do it but in moderation, do not get addicted to anything. Occasional fasting, for even half a day, can improve your health. But do it only if your health/ lifestyle permits this. Use your common sense in this.
Do your daily pujas and teach your children to do these too. At least 5 mins in the morning and the evening. Give this time for your personal spiritual growth. But this does not mean that you become overly dependant on ‘god’. The process is this, first learn things then pray for strength and act, ie do your Karma. The blessings come only when you act. All of our nation’s problems have their roots in situations where the correct person did not act for the nation or because the wrong person took advantage of the situation and acted against the nation. Shri Krishna in the Bhagwat Gita has talked the most about Action. So focus on whatever job you are supposed to do. In your office or your home etc, do your work with the utmost sincerity. This is the real path of devotion in Hinduism. Try to be the best in whatever profession you are in. Meet new people from your profession, keep yourself linked with others. Be sure about yourself and try to expand. Keep yourself updated, read new books, watch useful videos and try to utilise the information you have.
For students, it will be useful if they learn coding. With the plethora of AI tools available, this can be an enjoyable activity. Coding, if taught properly, increases logical abilities which can be applied everywhere. And teach your child Math and Sanskrit. We need intelligent children who also understand the difference between the right and wrong life foundations.
Most important is to diversity your sources of income. Develop an entrepreneurial spirit in yourself and learn to make money using the skills you have. Earlier every town had a marketplace but now the marketplace has towns in it! There are so many opportunities to earn money, identify and utilise these effectively. Save the money you earn and invest it intelligently so that you have resources with you in case of emergencies. Our nation desperately needs enterprise at this point of time. Do not just use the knowledge you have with you, utilise it.

O Bhaarat, Whenever there is decline of the right foundation. And the wrong foundations are elevated, I then manifest myself. For the protection of the good and for the destruction of evil. For the sake of firmly establishing the right foundations, I am born in every age. (Shrimad Bhagwat Gita)
We all have strongly invoked Shri Ram, the avtar of Shri Vishnu, on this earth. He was always in our hearts but now his moorti is also there in our temple. Now we are all required to Act for re-establishing Dharma. This is the Action which the King demands from us, the citizens of his kingdom. First we should all establish Dharma within our selves, our families and then in the society. All these three components, the individual, the family and the society are equally important. Find the right foundation and secure it within and without. It is now our duty, enforced by the King.
And we do not have much time either. This temple and the Pran Prathishta is a open challenge for the Adharmic forces and they have accepted it. It is obvious that the enemies of Dharma will also intensify their activities. Even if you do not have a sense of the astral, the events on this earth are clear to everyone. The instability has spread to several major nations and it will keep spreading. Time is simply flying by, the first month of the ‘new year 2024’ is already ending. Next 2025 will be even more unstable, I am anticipating an entire bloc of nations to collapse. And it is just 5 yrs till the catastrophe that 2030 is going to be. These extreme events will continue from 2031 to about 2034, the time will be very highly unstable for the entire world. After that it will require at least 5-10 yrs for things to be restored somewhat.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya temple is a core of positivity to support us, first in the instability, then the wars and then the rebuilding process. But the present moment is all that we have and now we are required to Act.
