Step wise puja of Shivlingam at home

Last Updated on August 12, 2024 by Tejaswini

A Shivlingam is the representation of the Bhagwan Shiva, the Paramatma itself.

There was a question on doing Shivlingam puja at home so writing this post. I am detailing the step wise puja that I do everyday in my Dev ghar/ Puja ghar/ home altar. Daily puja are spiritual healing techniques for the body, mind and soul as codified by our ancient Maharishis. Vedpurva Karmakaand, ie ritualistic pujas are necessary in this journey of self transformation.

My home has a separate room for the household deities. My Dad is the oldest member of the family, so he does the basic pujas of these deities. In addition to this, each family member has a small set up for doing personal pujas as per their inclination.

I do puja of the Shivlingam daily.

The Shivlingam is about 2 inches in height as per rule. It is made of Parad/mercury पारद . Mercury is liquid at room temperature and so it is first solidified by processes from the Rasayan shastra. Then the Shivlingam is cast from this solidified Mercury. It is made using the processes from Rasayan Shastra so it is called as a  Rasamani lingam. Rasa means ‘essence’ or ‘which is obtained from Rasayan’. And Mani is a ‘jewel’. These are Sanskrit words. Learning Sanskrit helps in understanding the meaning and purpose of these words. The esoteric meaning of Parad in Sanskrit is ‘leading safely across’. Thus the Parad Shivlingam helps one safely cross this sea of Maya and attain Moksh.

I perform all the steps with the mudra, mantra, yantra, visualisations etc as I have been taught from Vedic Karmakaand. But I have simplified it so that I can do this daily in 30mins. Bhagwan Shivah is so kind that he allows this as long as I have that pure intention in my mind. I have written only those steps, mantra and visualisations which can be safely used by everyone. (I have omitted the mudras and yantras completely and also some steps, mantra and visualisations.)

1. First is Asan shuddhi with Ganga water and mantra – ‘Om Pruthvi, tvayaa Dhrutaa lokaa Devi. Tvaam Vishnunaa Dhrutaa. Tvaam cha dhaaraya maam Devi. Pavitraa kuru cha Aasanam.’ I thank Devi Pruthvi supporting me as I sit on it. And I visualise Devi Ganga washing it out, purifying it with her energy. Sanskrit mantra are highly significant in all Hindu traditions/ pujas.

2. In my Dev ghar, the lamp is continuously lit, so I just top up the oil if needed. I recite the Agni Gayatri mantra ‘Om Saptajivhaya vidhmae, havyabhadraya dhimahi, tanno Agnih prachodayat’. I visualise the energy of Agni Dev being absorbed into my eyes.

3. Then I light incense/ dhoop. I light it I intend that the pending karma burn and be converted into fragrant smoke. (I buy one made of natural ingredients which you have to first roll in your palms.)

4. Then I do a basic namaskar to the Shivlingam. I remind myself that He and me are the same but still it is for pure happiness that I am worshipping Him with the Karmakaand. I thank him for this. Gratitude has power when applied to spiritual practice

5. Next is to remove yesterday’s flowers, vastra/ garment etc from the Shivlingam. (The yesterday’ flowers etc are called nirmalya which is disposed in a corner of the garden where no one steps on it. The vastra is washed.)

6. Then I put a drop of ghee on the Shivlingam. (Ghee made from desi cow milk is available where I live. And I also make some ghee at home for the puja purposes.) Ghee is called Pavitraa and symbolises Atmajnyan. I intend for the radiance of Atmajnyan, self knowledge. Spirituality is self discovery.

7. Next is Abhishekam of the Shivlingam, ie pouring liquids on the Lingam. First is a small bowl of Panchamrut. Additional items are used as per festival and inclination. Then finally with Ganga water. (The set up is such that the water etc drains out easily.) As the liquids and their associated mantra are poured over the Shivlingam I visualise them washing over my subtle body, stabilising it in their different ways. This is an important step in the journey of self-transformation.

8. Next I apply essential oils to the Shivlingam. During this step I recite the Mahamrutyunjai mantra. ‘Om trayambakam yajamahe sungandhim pushtivardhanam, uruvarukavima bandhanat mrutyor mukshiya maamurtat.’ I have written a post on the Mahamrutyunjai mantra here, so I visualise this meaning as I do this activity. This helps in the spiritual integration of mind, body, and spirit. (If you know the one essence which he likes the most then use it, else use whichever essential oil you like. I buy separate bottles lotus, jasmine, sandalwood, agarwood etc essential oils).

9. Then I apply Vibhuti to the Shivlingam. Three fingers are used to make the three lines of the Tripundhra. This action is linked to the meaning of the Vibhuti yog from the Bhagwat Gita/ Vedant and the esoteric lesson of the Tripur story. He is the Tripurari.

10. Next is a paste of pure sandalwood, pure camphor, saffron and a few other things which are ground together in Gangajal. I apply this fragrant paste to the entire Shivlingam and cover it fully. (I buy genuine sandalwood sticks from a person I know from the south. I use genuine camphor, Bhimseni kapur. For saffron, ‘Baby’ brand is a better one. The ‘few other things’ are from other states of our nation. Thankfully our Bharat still has genuine materials available.) A general visualization is that I making my own life beautiful as I apply these fragrant substances to the Shivlingam.

11. Then I place a fresh vastra/ garment over the Shivlingam so that its yoni portion is covered. The Shivlingam is draped in a white garment which covers the Yoni portion. You will find this done correctly in the temples of the Dakshin. A general visualisation on the Karmakaand level is that I are adorning the deity with beauty and thus my own life too.

12. Then I place a Rudraksh mala over the Shivlingam. Wrote posts on Rudraksh, so I visualise this same meaning as from these posts. I invite the power of the Rudra into me.

13. Now I offer the flowers, Aegle marmelos – bael leaves, bhang /cannabis leaves, dhatura etc, whatever is available. Each of these items has a meaning, but again the general meaning of making the life beautiful can be applied. (I live in the Himalaya, bhang grows wild in the mountains. Flowers are somewhat scarce. And getting the bael leaves and sugarcane juice from the plains is a task but thankfully He arranges for these supplies.)

14. Then kumkum and Akshata (raw unbroken rice grains). Akshata carry the power of intention and Kumkum is the energy of motion, Rajogun. A general intention to request sense and energy/ Buddhi and Shakti, so as to be able to do the proper karma in life.

15. After all this, I offer Dhoop, incense and the light of the Deep/ lamp. The visualisation that the smoke from the dhoop and the light of the Deep has covered the Shivlingam.

16. Then I offer Naivedyam in a silver bowl. This is Panchamrut to which a few drops of Gangajal is added. On festival days other types of Naivedyam is also offered. (Panchamrut is a mixture of desi cow milk, curds, ghee, honey and khadisakhar – raw cane sugar. I add sugarcane juice if available as per the season.)

17. Then Arti with Bhimseni camphor. While doing the Arti, I recite the Arti aloud and play the Damru, bell etc instruments as per my mood. The various instruments have different esoteric meanings. But a general intention is that I am offering the energy of Sound, Shabda brahma to the Shivlingam. Hindu rituals and ceremonies have deep meaning on the esoteric and energy level.

18. Then do namaskar. (Women kneel down and touch the forehead to the ground. For men it is the sashtang namaskar, the entire body touches the ground.) Here a general visualisation is offering the limited self to the Eternal Self, thus becoming the Eternal Self.

20. After this, I do Dhyan. If I have to rush to office then I recite my mantra 3 times, then sit for a minute to absorb the energy and then get up. Thus this is my morning puja of the Shivlingam inside the Dev ghar.

Then on my way to the office, I read or mentally recite or listen to the other mantra, stotra etc as per my routine. (To be able to do this I use one very specific intention. I will share in my next post.) If possible at midday, I try to get a minute free to do at least 3 mindful repeats of my mantra. Then when I get back in the evening, I do another small puja. And before going to bed there is one small puja and visualisation. Visualisations are required because then you do all these activities mindfully and not just ritualistically

On holidays, festivals and special days I do more elaborate Abhisheks, small homa etc. eg on Mahashivratri, I start my pujas at about 6pm and complete them at about 7am the next morning. I do all these pujas because it gives my mind indescribable happiness and not because I have to. If I am traveling or if I have to leave early in the morning, or I do not have time, then I recite the the Parapuja stotra by Jagat Guru Adi Shankaracharya once or just my mantra thrice. Even this much gives my mind that same joy.

Karmakaand is endless, so one should be clear on how much is reasonable and stick to that. We are primarily Gruhastashrami people now, the householders. There is no need to add on stuff just because someone else is doing it. If you ever feel burdened by the pujas you are doing, reduce them. Do the bare minimum 10 mins puja in the morning and in the evenings. And the outer pujas do reduce with time. The essence of the pujas enter the mind and the pujas become internal. At this stage one becomes a true vaanprasth, in the pursuit of inner peace.

Ultimately the real puja of the Shivlingam, is just that one single namaskar. Spirituality is the concept of oneness. Just one ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ but with the complete intention that the ‘adored’ Shivlingam, the ‘adoree’ i, Tejaswini and the process of ‘adoration’ are non different. Shivah!

Namaste Ma’am. Thank you for this article! Your blog and a few other astrologers have made me aware of the importance of Karmakaand. Over time, we’ve developed a very ‘chalta hai’ attitude to these procedures, either dismissed as excessive rituals or under this idea that ‘god will understand’. As a result, we’ve become lax about even the basics such as levels of cleanliness to be maintained etc. Or how easily one can go from ‘its alright, god will understand’ territory to straight up disrespecting the deities. I don’t mean to generalise but I’m just sharing observations from my own family.

        Thank you very much, Madam.

I did read your earlier article before writing to you.
When u pointed it out, I read it again.

I was able to find a product with one of the names u mentioned – Sri Bhimsen – with the words ‘organic’ age ‘edible’ on the package. I’ve placed an order for the same.

In the temples in Chennai where I live – even in very old temples like Kapalishwar Temple – Karpoora Aarthi has been banned for decades now – probably because the devotees burn artificial camphor – so they banned it across the board.

Look forward to starting the practice again at home – thanks to you.

        Hi there
i have written indepth on camphor in this post which you have read.
        https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/10/15/natural-camphor-and-its-energy/

you will get several brands which sell genuine camphor.
it has to be marked ‘edible’. and the crystals look like what i have described in that post.
you can taste it. it will feel ‘cool’ to taste.
as you are from Chennai, i am sure you must have eaten dishes with camphor added for flavor, at least in your childhood. or prasad teertham in temples. try to remember that taste.

it will be expensive. but if you can afford, do use it
and share that post with your relatives and followers of Sanatan dharma. do encourage people in your circle to strongly stick to sanatan dharma. we have to start performing our pujas properly.
if you can talk to the temple trustees if you know any one in the administration, maybe they can educate the people about the real karpur. and use it for arti.

we have very little time to prepare ourselves.
the Temple, then the UCC in Uttarakhand. as is evident the challenge has been accepted

    This is beautiful 😍
I discard the dried out flowers from puja room along with household dry waste as many of my neighbors do so. As I live in small 2nd Floor apartment with no garden, this is more convenient. What is the right way to dispose dried flowers?

Thank you so much for your detailed reply.

I had already set the ball rolling by sharing with my cousins the links to your posts and the brand of camphor I had ordered. Will do my best to reach this message to the genuine followers of Sanatana Dharma.

Now that u mention it, the Prasad Theertham does contain edible camphor even now. It is only the Aarthi that has been banned.
As a first step, maybe we can start off with only the priests using genuine camphor for Aarthi – while at the same time educating the devotees about why it is being done – and the differences between artificial and edible camphor.. All the devotees may continue to light only oil lamps at the temple -as some of them may not be able to afford genuine camphor – the ones who can afford to should be encouraged to do so at home.

Even as I was reading your posts, I had fond memories of all those dishes of my childhood that included a dash of ‘pacha (raw) karpooram’…

    Is it true..?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
there is only one source of power in this universe. the Shivlingam.

all Asur, Daitya, Danav, Raakshas, Devata, Manushya, Bhoot, Pret, Pischachya etc do the puja of this one eternal Lingam in different ways for generating power to fulfil their personal intentions.

      Shivah is the Eternal
      Lingam is the Mark

Daityaguru Shukracharya is the staunch devotee of Bhagwan Shankar.
When he accepted being the Guru for these Asur, Daitya, Danav, Raakshas he knew what he was taking on.
These tamasic minds want material gains by stealing these from others. they want this blessing frm Daityaguru. he too has no option but to say thathastu and give them the mantra for this.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/09/27/daityaguru-shukracharya/

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2023/12/05/malefic-devguru-jupiter-or-daityaguru-venus/

A Guru will always teach the syllabus for the Moksh purushartha.
but if the disciples do not want Moksh then he is bound to give them blessings for what they want.
the condition is that the disciples have to work fr it.

      and observe
which communities in the world today are very strict regarding their instructions on daily practice?
      3 of them are.
so yes, they are getting what they want. they want expansion at the expense of the others. they desire endless expansion on the material levels. and they are working for it very systematically.
note their levels of mental fitness, physical fitness, energy fitness. the strength and absolute clarity of their intentions.

in my blog i have emphasised daily practice.
even now, after thousands of subscribers, millions of pageviews, and such high rankings on the metrics, how many of these are actually doing daily pujas?
it is 5 mins in the morning and evening ? you have to match it with the sunrise and sunset. do it.
we have to first materialise our intention by Mantra. Agni, Rajogun, Devi Sarasvati. only then can we do anything on the material level.
do the pujas, teach your family, spread the word among the Hindus and followers of Dharma you know.
share some links from this blog if you find them useful.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2024/01/24/shri-ram-janmabhoomi-mandir-ayodhya-part-2/

as of now followers of Sanatan have no purpose, no plan, no preparedness. neither on the individual level nor family level nor the community level. no understanding of what can happen, is happening. sitting with the eyes closed does not make the danger go away.

and just asking questions here is of no use. what you do with this information is critical.
2025 is going to be dangerous.
less than 1yr.. the temple, the UCC in uttarakhand , riots in haldwani .. see how the sequence of events are unfolding..
      Act.

Just wish to place on record my deepest gratitude for your guidance.

After reading your blog, I started with Sri Suktam – a few months ago – just once a day. She has now expanded into many times a day / many stotrams – Gayatri Mantra, Mahamrutynjaya Mantra, Saraswati.. .I do it because I feel drawn to it – the experience itself is it’s own reward – in so many ways: still, there are other subtle and tangible benefits as well. THANK YOU.

Felt it appropriate to write to u as a reply to the above comment – am certain there are so many of us who have started a daily practice basis your guidance – as you would say – it is our 9th house in action.
Our 9th house blessings are acting through u – whom we look upto.

U have also mentioned Sukracharya and 2025 in the above post.
I notice Venus will be in Pisces – it’s Exaltation Sign – for more than 4 months in 2025 – from January to May 2025 – going direct and retrograde within the same Sign – it exits Pisces only after True Rahu exits Pisces breaking its conjunction with Saturn.

Venus will be there Before, During and After the following 2 events:

        1. The 2025 Eclipse
        2. Saturn Rahu conjunction in the same sign – Pisces – within a very short period – in 2025 after 1968.

From what u have written re the 2030 Eclipse, it seems as if the 2025 one could be a fore-runner – much like the 2019 year-end Eclipse was – in many ways…

My question (hope?) is – will the Mokshakarak Venus being in its Exaltation Sign – where all the action is happening – save the day – to an extent?

        Thank you and Pranams

        Hi there
        you are welcome.

the haldwani riots were trending a few days ago..
look at the planetary positions of that day, date, Vaar, tithi, etc and analyse for yourself what the reason was..

one of the meanings of ‘Moksh’ is ‘release’.

Ultimately he is the Guru of Daityas who have asked for adharmaa. But as they have sincerely followed his lessons, he too has no option but to say tathasu.

Bhagwan Shankar gave so many blessings to Ravan. Not because He agreed with what Ravan intended. He gave these blessings because Ravan worked for what he wanted.

each one should always ask the following questions to himself/ herself
        – do i know what i want?
        – am i working hard/ performing the right action for what i want?
if the answer for both is yes, only then does the Karmaphaldata say tathastu.

At the Bhagwan’s level there is no duality. He neither agrees nor disagrees, he only says tathastu.

      Hi there
Pujas of Devi Sarasvati are performed. it can be as simple or as complex as you can reasonably do.
if you have Her moorti then you can do a simplified puja in the same pattern. only difference is while doing the steps recite the Gayatri mantra continuously.

You are a Deshast Brahmin so must be wearing a Yajnopavit.
You have a choice of doing a small Laghu Gayatri mantra anushthan, or at least some intense Gayatri mantra jap if you want.
if you cannot do anything extra then, on this day at least, perform the complete sandhyavandanam with the nyas etc. 3 times in the day. each time will take about 45mins if done properly.

I did intense Gayatri Mantra Jaap and visited a Saraswati Temple , managed by Bengali Community over here.
I don’t know how intense it was, I generally do 1 mala every day which takes me 20-25 mins, but yesterday I did 3 malas , and then straight away went to Saraswati Temple.
After coming back home, I don’t know what hit me, I was dead tired and slept for 5 hrs straight after applying a leave for the day ..

        But rest is good 🙂

Is there any significance of keeping the lingam and yoni/vedhi facing any particular direction or yourself performing the Pooja from a particular side of the lingam? Thanks!

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
the Yoni of the Lingam is directed towards the North or the East.

वेदि vaedi is the platform/altar on which the Shivlingam is placed.

for a household devghar/ puja room – ideally the pujas are done while facing the east.

    Hi Tejaswini ji,

You said about 3 communities being most strict regarding daily practice. Unless you mean something else, then I’d say one group, socially is known for that. Abrahamic religions I don’t think it’s like that – one group definitely is not rigid with their daily practice, maybe certain places church-going is weekly, and the other is the most strict but they are small in number and then only the Orthodox amongst them.

What you said after that is very true.

Although I question the use of the word ‘fitness’. I don’t see a lot of mental fitness, agility, unique thought at all. I’d say Hindus, including myself are most since verbally it very easy for me to explain nuances and with the kind of knowledge you give, very deep elaborate thought can be explained simply – basically shaped by the itihaas of deep questioning. Though I’d say Hindus have a ‘lack of fitness’ physical, mental, energetic – I wouldn’t say any others have that. And as for energetic fitness, I’d have thought you’d have said others energy isn’t as refined as what we have.

I’d like to personally say I owe you though you never personally accept thanks! but allow me since what you share is very deep, insightful, powerful and nuanced.

Another point here thought is…India, Hindus cannot compete on the wavelength you’re talking about. Large Organized, Rigid and Structured. Hear me out…theres no one size fits all. All Balaji Srinivasan says ‘Indians’ can beat China, same way an Individual Hindu needs empowerment. We can do well enough to be formidable on the ‘large organizational ordered group’ level – but we cannot fight as well at a ‘Corporate Level’. Basically 1 billion people whose strength is individual, skills are individual and taught that a spiritual journey is individual aren’t going to be at their best under one banner.

We need entrepreneurial skills. Each individual cultivating their own ahhh…’Rama’ – Inner Light then those interacting as a ‘Maha-Matrix’.

Smaller, well ordered, units, highly-develop, sophisticated, sharing, collaborating, creating, even conquering when needed are what can give us power.

Your details, on simple Shivling rituals, small sadhanas laghu anusthans, easy ways to learn Sanskrit and its importance, these things are just as important in the big scale as are the very deep learning of shastras, vedangs and mega political parties.

My skill is in being able to convey the importance of small easy but very powerful things, even things such as Navratris and Eclipses which you have written on, thanks!

A ‘Backpack Bharatiya’ – everything needed can be carried with him and developed on an individual level to begin with.

Many Hindus need something like this and are just not wired to do things unless they are simplified, sweetened, articulated and actionable.

Like a setup kit for a pot of a small square garden than can yield fruit pretty quick.

    *****************

On other notes you mentioned above

    1) Shivling – based on what you wrote few days ago to me, I even convinced my cousin who going through a bad time, to do this one simple thing, get a Shivling, and just pour water on it and during these 9 days to light a candle and say ‘Jai Mata Di’ – if he has the time! lol

    2) * Q: Sarasvati – you said we need to materialize our intention using Mantra, Agni, Rajogun and Devi Sarasvati – ‘only then’ we can do anything on the material plane. What does this mean?

So where does appealing to Maa Lakshmi for prosperity, or Maa Parvati for Power come into it? does this mean Maa Sarasvati is invoked ‘first’? for ALL material based goals?

    3) * Q: Shukra: Perhaps we should also be taking heed and observing this. I found out my lagna is Shukra, though the ‘Venusian’ aspect also makes sense. But the full story of Shukracharya made the most sense and more so than my ‘Star Sign’ being Jupiter which is externally quite true. But basically how can I on a personal level cultivate that relationship, ask for a certain blessing, bring that joy into my life, and then learn the deeper mysterious only Shukracharya can teach.

How to Actually go about all this?

    Dear Tejaswini Ma’m,

Many many thanks for all these deeply insightful posts ! I am still digesting some of those and yet my mind is brimming with queries :

    1. I read that our first name has the energy of various planets, it is like a Mantra. I have seen one instance very closely where a girl changed her name i.e. shortened it (or rather “stole” the shortened version from her roommate) and many out-of the blue auspicious things happened to her. However the other girl whose name she adopted …her life changed for the worse. What could be the reason for this, is it a kind of -energy stolen ?Have you come across any such instance in your vast practice?

    2. I also read long ago, (and did not know whom to ask) is that just before KAliyuga , Bhagwan Shiva locked all the mantras so that they can’t be misused. Therefore only true and devoted Aghoras can make them Keelita and workable. Without this , they remain unenergised and are more of a prayer recitation. Thus Mahamrutyunjaya, Gayatri are praises/ prayer hymns and not mantras. Mantras are customised geometries.
Now personally I did not/do not much accept this above thought because I have experienced peace through these mantras. But is there any process which Adi-Guru ie Bhagwan Shiv hid from us before the advent of Kali Yuga ?

    3. Also , after reading your posts and replies on Shukracharya , I have a query. In many cultures,Venus is worshipped as a woman deity. For example, Venus, Isis, Ishtar giving abundance and fertility. In our civilisation, however, he is man. Why is there a difference in the energies envisaged for Shukra? Does it make a difference in which form and gender you worship Shukra be it either to reduce his kashtaphala or to enhance his positivity?

    4. All the planets in Jyotish have a sign/symbol attached to them. Can doing puja of this symbol as sigil speed up the results? (For example I see the symbol Ankh in Egyptian culture is exactly the venus symbol and it did gave them grandeur and prosperity despite being in desert.

    Much Gratitude and Pranams !

      Hi there
      1. the birth name is given as per the horoscope positions. It is a personal mantra.

      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/08/19/naming-your-baby-the-astrologic-twists-and-turns/

It is possible that the other girl drained the energy.
      I wrote this
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/15/is-energy-healing-really-energy-sharing/

if living with room mates, care should be taken

      2. There are several types of mantra.
Eg daily mantra – Nitya – Sandhya
Occasional naimittik – festival day pujas
      Third is the intentional use.

Ideally for intentional use, the person would do the pujas etc exactly as per the time, location, perfect Brahmins, perfect ingredients and in case of any mistakes while performance, do the remedy there itself. The practitioner’s intention/sankalp focus would be perfect. The complete package was a one time prayog. And it would give the result. Eg Putrakameshti yajnya of Raja Dashrath.
Doing a anushthan requires perfection. If you miss something the power of the mantra will destroy you. It is is conscious fire.

      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/10/18/gayatri-mantra-devi-sarasvati-raja-gun-and-agni/

But today we do not have any of these things. And thus the mantra do not give their result in this one time style. We do it again and again. And yes it does give its basic result.
This is the concept of keelit. Yes, they are hidden, in the sense only less than 1% of their power is available at the present.
to remove these bindings, the blessings of the Guru are necessary. no other option.

      Mantra is not a prayer.
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/04/12/mantra/

      3. They are confused.

Feminine, masculine or neuter energies does not mean that the graha is a man, woman or a shand.
Would you say that Bhagwans Shanidev and Budhadev are ‘neuter’, ‘shand’?
Do not do this. it is offensive on the energy levels.
They are all described as men, with wives and children.

Daityaguru is a son of Rishi Bhrugu, shishya of Rishi Angiras, Guru of Daityas, husband of Jayanti, father of Devyani.
Chandradev is the son of Rishi Atri and Devi Anusaya, his brothers are the Rishis Dattatraya and Durvas, he is husband to the 27 daughters of Daksha Prajapati. He is the father of Buddha.

These are descriptions in sutra form written for easy comprehension.

      Read this post
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/08/17/the-gazes-of-the-planets/

I wrote on the feminine, masculine neuter energies in some post. Use the search bar.
Basically ‘feminine’ in this context does not mean a woman or soft, it means it is a easily triggered and fast working energy.
‘Feminine’ does not even mean beauty.
see if you can invoke them during the eclipse pujas and see how they look.
they are all extremely handsome, celestial divinity, indescribable beauty. even Shanidev or Rahudev or Ketudev. they are not human.

do not refer to them as women, it is not good

      4. Yes.
Ankh is from the Ankh shastra – see the sheer stupidity of us Hindus, we do not see our Sanskriti spread out in this world. ‘Akhenaten’ is the english way of pronouncing Eknath.
Cyrus was a King of Persia. Cyrus is pronounced Khuru in the original language. the English turned it to Cyrus. Persian still call him Khurus. And we know who the Kurus were.

Anyways. Here is one line of thought for you to explore.
Think on why Dakshin of Bharat was more expansion oriented than the Uttar.
And today there is one religion which makes extensive use of just one item, which gives them tremendous power of expansion.

Is it fair to say that Ketu has many enemies and Rahi has many friends (especially evident if they are transiting to one’s first house)

Like integrity and isolation of Ketu will eventually leads to popping up of and creation of more enemies
Likewise social visibility, indulgence and cleverness of Rahu will lead to creation of friends n networks

We should be able to see that no one is actually is your enemy or a friend ( not true if planets or we ourselves are not mature)

Ma’am what their placements in birth chart indicates with respect to this theory

    Thank you

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      cannot generalise like this.
Friends given by Rahu will always be untrustworthy and short lived
Ketu generally will not give friends, he does not bother in any case. But he may give admirers

friends from 11th house – enemies from 6th
i have written several posts on this,

        Grateful for your reply Ma’am.

I’d like to ask one more thing, Does Rahu represents all the activities of the mind ( mind which can never show you the REAL, if anything at all there is something called REAL or TRUTH) But mind ( if heightend or matured ) is surely capable of giving innovative ideas creativity intelligence etc but ultimately it is a Poison.

And Ketu is the Awareness of our mind which is like a fire, who will struck down the BS of the mind or chain of thoughts, But if awareness is not mastered properly, the awareness will turn itself into anger.
( for simple example like a Sage who is very aware and pure like a fire, if disturbed or mistreated can instantly become very angry, or

When we are doing something very intense work, if disturbed we instantly become angry)

Should we always balance the prospects of Rahu with ketu and vice versa, for example like too much usage of social media (Rahu) should be balanced with self restraint and discipline of ketu and likewise intensity, simplicity and integrity of ketu should be balanced with intelligence, exploration and connecting the dots of Rahu.

(Ma’am is too much thinking or dwelling upon them is safe or it could trigger something like inviting them or anything, i have been dwelling about them a lot and they are so fascinating, i can not stop thinking that how ketu represents the mountains and rahu is the oceans. We can not throw even a single garbage in the mountain but whole world’s dump is thrown into oceans. How ketu represents the Borders of the countries and rahu being the oceans from where invaders explorers or pirates do come,

Anyways they are extremely fascinating powerfull and multidimensional but i can’t stop making new connections about things or thinking about them, i don’t even have anyone to share these things so that i can release my POISON
Should i refrain myself completely, i fear i might trigger them )

        Thank you Ma’am

    Namaste Ma’m,

As you mentioned that Hindus worship conscious energy and all our gods are basically energy and they have been personified in our shastras so we need to read them as symbols. So far I am somewhat able to understand relationship between energy and personified god at individual god level but then in our shastras (ved/puran/mahakavyas) there is so much interaction among these gods and each story is decorated with so many embellishments to make them vivid, how should I understand those? Here are some specific context/questions/examples to illustrate my confusion, really looking for your guidance:

    1) When our rishis wrote these shastras, did they translated the complex interaction among energies to personified them using stories OR is it our interpretation of these shastras from energy point of view? e.g. we say Bhagvad Gita is a yog shastra where kurushestra is your body, duryodhan is your ego etc so when maharshi Yvasa wrote mahabharat then was he thinking this way in terms of body/energy/ego or was he only describing the actual historical events and its just our interpretation to equate duryodhan with ego?

    2) From ramayan, we say shri Ram is an avatar of Vishnu. But if Vishnu is an energy (satvik), what does avatar mean? Is shri Ram also refering to *type* of energy? Or does shri Ram refer to human being with highest level of vishnu energy? If its later then how shri Ram was able to get this energy from birth and not through Dhyan/Sadhana?

    3) From valmiki ramayan itself, balakand starts with rishi Valmiki asking muni Narad about a person with certain qualities. I am assuming muni Narad refers to some energy within ourselves, so what does it mean to ask *question* to him and how does energy *respond* in terms of telling rishi Valmiki full ramayan in very short? And then what does mean that Brahma came to *visit* rishi Valmiki and asked to write elaborated mahakavya?

    1. If the starting syllable of the name is a samyuktakshar like Shri , Pra , Kri , tva etc should we take the half sound syllable or fully sounding syllable?

ex : in Pra –> should we take pa or ra
    Pa belongs to UttaraPhalguni
    Ra belongs to Chita

    2. For most of the letters , only few guninthaksharani were given.
Ex : there is no cha (laghu Swara) but there is chaa ( deergha swara) .
What should be done in these cases?

the four options given there are linked to the 4 quarters of the nakshatra. so they are just 108.

there is always a confusion with these, so i have given the options on how you can choose

Yet, often the mind wanders and I say, ok to it, and bring it back to my deity. I wanted your guidance to know when the mind wanders, should I restart japaa again. I don’t know when the mind just flew, also the transition from concentrated mind to absent mind is wavery, if I need to restart, then I might struggle to complete the planned counts. Hi Tejaswini Ji,

First, I have a query about a point you made above, related to something I’ve asked and also wanted to ask!

Then, I’m happy I can finally get involved 🙂 your open invitations to pursure certain lines of question are sometimes good enough for me to respond on an amateur novice level like jyotish ones – but this one I can probably do better than most.

= ECLIPSE: Please teach us about the invocation during eclipes! I had heard this a long time ago, recently on a ‘well known podcast’ from a now well known tantric. Then confirmed by you in your posts on Eclipses.

I have started a small daily navgraha chanting schedule, but how do we we know when eclipses happen? and how to do the invocation? Should it be according to our situation i.e. Ascendent or Mahadasha?

Basically when will they happen and what’s the process?

    Please share 🙂

= EXPANSION: Okay let me give this a shot.

    – Dakshin Bharat, was more expansion orientated than Uttar Bharat because firstly more coastline with the sea.

    – Bengal also has this access, is north-east I guess, but expanded apparently into today’s Indonesia, Malyasia general South-east asia.

    – For context to anyone reading. This was in relation to anothers guy mentioning similarity between ‘Venus’ symbol (did he mean Taurus?) and Egyptian Ankh and how puja could be done to sigils, as may Ancient Egyptians did to the Ankh – hence giving them prosperity even in the desert.

    – You are perhaps alluding to the Cross. Which has been used a lot for expansion.

    – But could be two things…

    – The consistent ‘puja’ of the cross giving power of expansion.

Or the fact that the Ankh itself from is considered a very ancient form of it, more authentic for the Coptic church of egypt itself.

    – or is the implication that the ‘Egyptian poojas’ were then ‘appropriated’ or carried on and transferred to the cross. Actually the original symbol was that of a fish, close to Pisces really.

    – actually another very central, black stone focus point of another religion was meant to have been a holy site for thousands of years with people doing puja at that location as well.

    – * But what does this all have to do with Dakshin Bharat being more expansion orientated than the north Indians?

    hmmm…

    – Has this anything to with the Sengol thing that was on the news?

    – Like i said, there is more coast, and something to do with fish and water being a theme in Dakshin bharat?

    This was really interesting!

    * ECLIPSES: Thank you, I will look into them and really wish to work on these things at the next opportunity. But if you could please write sometimes about invoking the Navagraha’s in their beauty as you said, you specifically mentioned eclipses that’s why, earlier you answered a question about Shukracharya with ‘ask him’. Anyways if this is on those post’s I’ll read it.

    EXPANSE:

Ok, though I doubt even people living in India will be able to actually say what’s different. As for them being different, that’s pretty well known now, people have an image of a taller very high ‘stepped roof’ kinda structure in the south.

But anyway, I did a quick search, saw a table and read it for a minute, I don’t even know the meanings of some of the words fully but I think I can continue just on what I’ve learnt this very minute lol!

= Uttar temples: Nagara Style of Temple Architecture
Dakshin – Dravidian Style of Temple Architecture

= Nagara Style has multiple Shikhara, Dravidian style has 1 single Shikhara.

So as I maybe thought, this is the ‘tower’, specifically ‘mountain peak’

the key here though is ‘1 SINGLE’ – theres always an element of One vs Many, one vs ‘more than one’

So this singular peak gives a single focus, multiple would have its own benefits but a singular peak gives the element of Direction, just like a single flag would. A single point of focus.

= Nagara Style tower, does have a central tower but its ‘Curvilinear’ in shape

In Dravidian Style it is shaped like a Pyramid.

‘Curves’, feminine, flexibility, fluidity – whereas a prominent tower, that to in an ordered archetype of a pyramid, question becomes whats at the ‘top’ of the pyramid. It symbolises Authority, combined with prominence of a single tower it implies a Central, Highest, Singular authority.

In Nagara style, the most prominent element is the ShikharIn Dravidian Style, the most prominent element is the Gopuram.

= This is interesting. Seems like even then the Shikhara is not the most significant thing, its the Gopuram as well. The ENTRANCE is quite prominent, implying a movement inwards and outwards, welcoming people to come in and form the base – beneath the Shikhara, below the pyramid.

= Dravidian style has Dwarpalas, which I had to look up. This feels reminiscent of having ‘guards at the gate’. A sense that inside is an authority.

= This is further compounded by the fact that temple boundaries are given high importance. Essentially there are barriers. Converesely though there are borders – they are allowed to expand vs, having no borders at all.

= Dravidian style also has pedestals on the groud and deities outside.

Not sure what to make of it immeditely, but overall, if even deities are outside then means even they serve the high power within.

Overall the temple – which influences general social psyche implies more toward a single authority, with a point of focus, a sole rulership which can expand and take in the other masses of people.

Not my final thoughts but just putting it out there.

Interesting to think why these styles varied? What would have happened had larger northern kingdoms had this?

I’d also heard that Lord Skanda who was very prominent at one point up north, eventually becoming more worshipped in the south as Murugan.

    I’d say now to recap

    – the man difference is that souther, dakshin, dravidian style temples have larger gates and a more centralized pyramidal, main spire – with a capstone

You mentioned ‘makes use of just one item’

the cross is valid but maybe not what you are referring to

so this one item could be – the book, the crescent, or the minaret – which gives ‘tremendous power of expansion’

An interesting thought though, is that actually domes are closer related to shikharas of northern style as well as buddhist stupas – and actually buddhist monastaries ‘expanded’ quite well as well.

But you’re saying it was the south, Dakshin that had a greater orientation to expansion that the north, Uttar

So the things I mentioned are the obvious simple things (I think) – so how is that related to this ‘one item’?

For now, since also this came from a question about sigils of rashis.

Could the capstone of dakshin temples with something on top be the equivalent of the minaret with crescent on top?

    Quite interesting….

    Dear Tejaswini Ma’m,

Very grateful for your reply and guidance. Forever grateful !… removes so many confusions !!

I connect the dots that the Kuru clan migrated through the south route. In fact there are ancient temples of Shakuni, Duryodhan and Dusshasan in Kollam ! …Is it true that they migrated towards other peninsulas, beyond Saptasindhus, and also met up with Ravana clan which had migrated in the earlier yuga and had carried the sacred Shivalinga (black stone now) with them. They cried a lot with Daityaguru and he gave them the mantra of one prime deity, and yet the other deities and even 3 prime goddesses remained (whose name actually resemble Daityaguru’s wives, but may be I am guessing too much ) there as a pantheon (daevas). Now this was not much appreciated by him. At the opportune time, with the help of celestial beings, success came about when, as I gather from the blog, certain very rare and once in millenniums constellations and graha-yogas formed, and his mantra, symbols and denial of other daiva like deities actually took shape in the society. Thereafter there was no looking back.

Is this all true…..it would be very helpful if you put deep light on this and help understand lost and profound history – which will give more meanings to our confused lives.

Regarding expansion from South – I thought and thought …I got this idea. Is this symbol our Lord Shiva’s Trident and his Chandrahasa sword that he gave to King Ravana? Earlier dynasties – Chola etc- were shivabhakts and expanded , in far east and south east. Many temples in south India has Trident on the top . Now strangely I see a Trident and a dropping Sword in the form of Calligraphy on a Flag. Is this used as an inspirational item to expand – by the descendants of the clan who had migrated in the earlier yugas when Daityaguru got success ?

Very intriguing, looking forward to your profound insights as always !

    Gratitude and pranams !

the earth resonates with Sanskrit, open your mind and see.

Indians and Russians are the last groups which still maintain the connect with Sanskrit.

religions use the power of maheshwar sutrani and have twisted the various beejs to force expansion without limits.
note their names, they are all twisted Sanskrit.
listen to their prayers, you can hear the beejs.

Just one more guess is – are these the beeja’s Lam (Mooladhaar chakra) and Shum.. (Shukra beej mantra) … just checked some lyrics of the prayer and found repetition of these . But them Lum is for Mars, so a bit confused.

    Dear Ma’m,

One more query is : the books Gorakh Bani and Shukra – Neeti as they come up on net / what is available there – is it ungarbled?

Also ,thank you for explaining the real , hidden meaning of Keelit mantras. It made my mind clear and also removed the feeling that, may be, the mantras I am chanting are Stutis. I can carry on with drudh manas.

Just one more question is – has misuse of pure, well meaning, vishwa kalyan path of Aghora for political power, personal pleasure made some land tracts and countries a war and conflict prone zone? e.g misuse by the Kaula sect.

    Thanks and Warm Regards,

      Hi there
i have not read these books so cannot comment.

you have asked a question which will require a long answer.
it starts with Rishi Kashyap lying to one of the Tri Devi’s. She then cursed the land.

tantra has been severely misused in this land. Dharma has been abandoned. and the entire Bharat is suffering because of this.
i am waiting for one event, when it happens in this land, then there will be hope for our nation. but only the Sadhu, Sant, Swami can make this happen.

Sometimes i really wonder at our society.
Bhagwan Vishnu had to come as an avtar to motivate us to fight for our right to live free. Twice!
we are so utterly lethargic that the Bhagwan himself had to come to wake us up. Twice
Jnyan makes one fearless. Shastra gives us the information. Dharma directs us to Act. yet we dont…

Is the ‘item’ you speak of the calls to prayer then? From atop high towers like Dakshin temples?

    ———————————

If we are talking ghandar/ khandhar then I’d say yes its close to middle east, but actually more pertinent is its bordering iran, ‘land of the Aryans’, which bordered India obviously before

Now, in the original faith of that land, Persia.

The angelic beings are called ‘Ahuras’ the main god ahurza mazda

The demonic beings are called …. ‘Daevas’

The fact is original Hebrews plus a ‘great mahayogi’ known as son of god born in that area have massive part to play in communities of Arabia.

Since they’re not very ancient, the Hebrews are but they’re not.

So I think we gotta look at the iran/ afghan plus Hebrew, Bethlehem connection as two distinct but interrelated threads.

    And also amen, amin.

Also the moon and star was actually a symbol of the greeks. Its the bow and arrow of Artemis. The turks took that lands – kept the symbol – but change the colour to red!

hence its a very ‘pagan’ symbol lol

    1) = What is the significance of 24 runes to Sanskriti?

    2) = I’m actually doing some light reading, on Mr Amish’s ‘Ram Trilogy’, the story in there (Maharishi Vashista is part of a secret society!), is teaching a teenage Prince Ram, that the revered Daityaguru taught his rebel students, the Asuras, cousins of the Devas, to worship Ekam, known as Paramatma in the new age to unite them. But the disciples closest to him understood the deeper meaning but when the ranks swelled – it led to fanatical thinking.

    3) = I heard you chant the maheshwar sutrani here I think! thank you 🙂

my shortcut-mind started thinking wow! this is the source of all mantras, the very sounds, so why don’t people go after this!?

However, we are told not to get the pronunciation wrong for many mantras, so come now ‘twisting’ such a powerful mantra instead yields power and expansion.

That would have been known and done by now by many Maharajas who had a court occult tantric wouldn’t you say?

    4) This has just come to me. There is one name alone, that is the more important beyond these others, and I do mean any other name from another culture. So I’ll ask you about that.

what about the name – Gabriel, Jibreel?

    Dear Tejaswini Ma’m,

What a profound message, mesmerizing visuals, and lovely voice… Thank you so much for sharing TRUTHFUL knowledge in the world of charlatans and crooks who distort knowledge for money and knowledge ! Kudos to you !!

Your views on the decline of this civilization are profound There are books written by old researchers around 150/200 years ago on rise and fall of our kingdoms since 2000 BCE till 1950s. We forgot the basic purusharthas. Infact around 4 years ago I was debating with a colleague that we need to recognise “Dharmasya moolo Arthah” before aspiring to be a Vishwaguru ! Right now the economy is totally tilted towards the West and trade paths based, energy based /crude – based. It is like this since 500 years now. Long ago, it was our products, knowledge, IPR, and trade routes controlled by us. Now none of these belong to us. Agrarian economy is destroyed and the best stuff is imported while we have only chemical filled goods.

We know and see what that means to our roots and civilization . To earn livelihood, to do well by being a part of this economy , even as a professional, requires youth to imbibe those traits and display those belief system otherwise they are a victim of cancel culture. Would you please like to share your thoughts on how to shift this tide and incorporate old elements, without falling prey to old dogmas that stopped us from logic and new inventions ?

    Thanks and pranams.

      Hi there

      First learn Sanskrit
      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/05/29/learn-devbhasha-samskrutam-aka-sanskrit/

unless we are able to read and understand our own books we are going to remain in the dark. there is no option on this.

second read the Bhagwat Gita. again no option on this.

      this is what he says,
      decide your focus point,
      get the info
      strategize
Act. Do the Karma. whatever is required as per personal varna.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2022/08/26/shukra-ojas-and-varna/
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2022/09/02/analysing-varna-of-the-nakshatra/

then its in the hands of the Karmaphaldata. then we have to accept the karmaphal as Ishwarprasad.

if someone sits and keep singing bhajans, doing pujas day and night expecting the ‘gods’ to save him, then he is the biggest fool.
we must sing bhajans but after we have done our Action. offer the action to him, ie Ishwarsamarpan bhavana.
spirituality, etc is not a substitute for Action.
Unfortunately most modern Indians are scared of god knows what, they simply refuse to Act.

re corporate culture – if it is the requirement of the time then go to the parties, no issues. but remain in control of yourself. if you need to drink alcohol or have non veg, no issues as long as u dont get addicted. everyone must decide a line for themselves. be flexible but only to that limit.

      1. H T Avatar

Thank you so much for the clarity you provide… I found this blog when I was going through a setback and got into inaction. It is because of reading your words, I understood deeper meaning of action ie KArmayoga.

= The Rig Veda version of Gayatri Mantra – rune are linked to that!?

= are we talking about the Vajrayana ‘religion’? In many ways they are very adept. They adore Devi Tara, But of course they’ve been through a lot as well.

= But we do need an appropriate mantra right, as in we wouldn’t invoke Lord Skanda to help with love life lol!?

Still intrigued by these hidden links.

Also you know the Jews of yore spent a lot of time in Babylon, modernism day Iraq. They were then conquered and ruled by the Persians, and obviously there was a cross-pollination of ideas, Zoroastrian theology basically, which when they returned to Israel – they brought these new ideas.

Oh! And the one Emperor, non Jew, who is ‘unconditionally prasied’ by the Jews is…. Any guesses lol???

      – history is written by the victors.
      – the dead have no one to defend them, so are always maligned
      – people die but their language always remains. the names of cities, rivers, mountains even now etc are all rooted in Sanskrit.

In Kaliyuga two Holy places never loss its Divinity..and exists even in pralay..
    Those are..
    Kashi Vishwanath…and Puri Jagannath..🙏

One is about Lord of Vishwa..
Other is about Lord of Jagat..
Whats difference between Vishwa & Jagat..
    Both are not same..?🙏

And..It also says Shiva and Vishnu both are same..
But..Shiva has Crescent moon which represents Amrutatwa..or turiya state..
Why doesn’t Vishnu shown as Having Crescent Moon..?
    Whats the meaning of it..?
    And He wears Peacock feather..🙏

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there

and some priests whom I know say that Bhagwan Vishvanath has shifted to Uttarkashi in the kaliyug….
all temples are His abode, small big, it does not matter, He is as strongly in your own home puja ghar. its just a matter of the right perspective ..

there is practically no difference but if you really want i will make a very subtle difference between these two words based on the mandukya upanishad.
the Vishwa is the witness of the Jagat. the Vishwa is the conscious energy who observes the activities of the Jagat.

no material thing remains in during pralay..
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2023/12/11/pralay-in-tantra-and-vedant/

there is only one story where Maharishi Markandeya has a darshan of Bhagwan Krishna while the pralay is on. but that is on the energy level.

All the deities are the same.
there is no difference between Bhagwans / Devis- Vishnu, Brahmadev, Shankar, Mahatripursundari, Mahakameshwar, Laxmi, Sarasvati, Parvati, Ganga, Surya ….. they are all the same, and even you and me, who are technically jivatmas are also the same Paramatma.

Bhagwan Vishnu ‘sleeps’ in Yognidra, that is the Turiya. same as Bhagwan Shankar. no difference.

Shri Krishna avtar wears peacock feather, and it too has a lot of power. dont underestimate this item.

    Wowwwwwwwww

    Tejaswini Ji,

You really are an awesome teacher 🙂

That got me so…’lively’, I didn’t even respond right away.

And little to no wonder that my short afternoon meditation, with one set bija mantra from an app for whichever graha is calculated most important to the day, not set by day, followed by few rounds Gayatri Mantra. Of course you know who showed up, Daityaguru himself, thought in my chart that’s likely anyway and its Friday but still – it just was sooo apt.

And since for the first time since Jan 22, I forgot Sri Suktam in the morning routine – I did it in the after noon, follow straight by the above.

Thank you so much, I know first how much that video will help the right people and including myself.

    Ok
    =============

So the thing you mean was obvious was the colour Green!? maybe obvious to you lol

I had a good go, I knew the things separately, even the colour of the hear chakra being green.

But damn….. green is ‘their’ colour, friday prayers, high towers, containing ‘modified beej’,

Though not much ‘expansion of the heart’ always lol

Also south indian temples, do have more garden, lawn, grass, greenery in general

Seriously is this it, or at least most of it?

For the first time ever I’m gonna buy a green tracksuit. I’ve consciously or subconsciously always avoided it, red is my colour – which is also the colour of Devi right?

Sri Suktam’s importance then her image and when I heard her beej firs time all in the last year was when I started to real ‘fall for’ Maa Lakshmi. The other Devi’s as well as Mother, Guru kind of ways.

But seeing it all together after this little exploration then the ‘capstone’ at the end, was Whoa!

    * I’m intrigued also because during the Golden Age in Arabia there is not much on ‘ancient arabia’ they went though but lots from Greece, India, Egypt.

Perhaps these elements made their way into ‘tribal customs’ of the arabs seamlessly woven into their songs, they were expert poets, and other things.

Gosh this is gonna feel so wierd! wearing green and white lol!!!! and sitting down where where I have EVERYTHING RED. But I’ll do it if your recommending it.

I can relax a bit now, but I’ll surely be pondering a bit more.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there

they have chosen to wear exclusively white, black and green. Together it is very powerful energy. right or wrong is another story. But they are focussed, use the info, strategise and work hard. So they get what they want.

Green is everyone’s color. Especially in Southern states and temples, green is the preferred color. A velvety emerald green. I personally wear green for all important meetings and occasions. Another important color extensively used in south is purple, it’s the color of the sahasrara chakra.
Eg in Maharashtra, if you to any puja, marriage, etc, 50% of the women will be wearing green. 25% will be wearing shades of purple. The dhotis that men wear are purple, yellow, deep blue, cream, with gold border.

Red is the color of the mooladhar chakra. Of Rajogun. It is Fire. But what do you do with the fire? Unfortunately in some states, the people exclusively focus on the red, but do not give that energy a direction. They reject green and ignore the other colors and thus they do not expand. Then the excessive energy of motion twists them from the inside.

If you see a married women, wearing sindoor, bindi, flowers in hair, mangalsutra, some gold jewellery ie Soubhagya Lakshan, and red sari then you have to do a mental namaskar to her as the Devi Lalita. If she is wearing green then she is the embodiment of Devi Laxmi. If gold/yellow, white then Devi Sarasvati. If black or dark blue hues then Devi Kalika. If a young girl less than 10yrs is exclusively wearing these colors then she is the child/Balaa form of that Devi. if you do this the Devi-s will be pleased with you.

Every color is of Sanatan Dharma and Bhagwa is the highest. But not all of us are eligible to wear it. So we worship those who are genuinely worthy of wearing it.
Dharma is being mindful of the energy flowing around. Most hindus are behaving like zombies. they do not think. Do not want to read. Do not want to expand themselves.

My Guru always says that ‘Vistar’ is necessary. Make yourself ‘vistrit’. and for that all the colors are necesary, red to green to purple and beyond.

  33. Rishi Avatar
    Rishi

    Hi there again Tejaswini ji,

I’ve thought about this a bit.

Actually, I think many Hindus do want Expansion, they just want to connect with the fundamental basics first, but because theres many moving parts, it’s hard to grasp something and then yes- lot of red to keep moving about.

You would think though of energies of red would be more utilized by certain people….perhaps it was taken.

Russians seem to like red also 🙂 i know you know a lot about their culture

But is this colour stuff really that impactful?

In the UK, subconsciously excess green and white because it matches the flag of a neighboring county lol, brings on smirks. might as well start shaving moustache as well lol!

But I get you now, and actually India’s flag has bhagwa and green and white.

The explanation of the words was great, and noticed it in Sri Suktam – where its referring to a ‘lack of proper-expansion’.

Don’t mean to pick a bone but isn’t ‘expansion’ just ‘motion’ as well or rather implies motion – whats the main difference here?

Also, just want to be more complete lol, what about just blue? – because red blue green make up the 3 primary colours

    ————————————————-

I’d collated a sheet recently for how to call Maa Lakshmi, Learn from Shukracharya, Increase prosperity, find an ideal vehicle to wealth, lots came up including homas, south-east direction, nar-seva.

But this was utterly unique. and if it packs that much of a punch it influences a lot, like the dough forming the base of a pizza.

    * In essence, do what I’m doing.

= Have fixed intention regarding wealth, work, body even? (expansion?), clients, friendships, knowledge related to something valuable, networks, income etc.

= get info? does this mean find out the facts related to what could be done, even like asking questions

= strategise – as in make a plan or more like ‘see the destination’?

= Act – ….can we ‘expand’ our action taking ability, inner drive!!?

Also came across an insight that, unlike Mars, who really ‘goes for it’ working with Shukra is a matter of also ‘letting it come’, not straining to get the thing.

So in addition to the above what would you make of:

wear green, just a nice emerald green (not deep green) or green quilt (i have 2 red ones!),
sit on my red meditation cushion,
heart chakra feel, see as beautiful expanding green chakra/centre,
chant sri suktam thrice and then shukra beej mantra 1 round – all this on a friday – (not need to do every day?
and be nice to my mum !

just ‘knowing’ that this expansion is prosperity and will make its way in all areas of my life or according to intention.

I’ll assume the above is correct, and just re-cap of what you’d said already!

Guess it enhances you sure simple instructions.

Bu one thing to claridy the colour.

    You mentioned a vibrant, emerald-golden-green

Is this colour actually more like Jade?

vs the dark-ish green colour of most emerald gems

Also was thinking about Britain but couldn’t get much and also America same combo really blue, red, white.

In the case of the United States though, they WORSHIP THE GREEN. The dollars are literally green!

Not by land but their currency is prevalent, so much so that the Dollar is the standard for trade – and oil being the main commodity – which has brought a lot of wealth to Arabia.
