Trimetal astro bangle

Trimetal astro bangle

Last Updated on March 5, 2024 by Tejaswini

Astrology is about remedies. In fact the entire premise of Sanatan Dharma is remedies. We are all here on this earth to remedy our negative karmas and to fulfil the promise of our positive karma. Astrology has several remedies for the different planetary positions. I generally do not prescribe gemstones but there is one tool which I wear, in fact everyone in my family wears. If my client is able to afford it, a Kada made of copper, gold and silver is the perfect remedy.

A kada is like a bangle / bracelet but it can be worn on the wrist or at the arm on either hand as per the convenience. It can be worn by everyone it acts as a all round remedy balancing all the issues in the horoscope. Children should not until they grow up (18yr or so), as it is an expensive item.

Trimetal astro bangle

If you can afford it, it will cost about Rs 2.5 lakh in India at the current gold prices (Rs 58000/gram). You should ensure that the jeweller is trustworthy and is using only the purest metals and has a skilled craftsman to make it.

The exact proportions of the metals are,

  1. Gold – 33.33 grams
  2. Silver – 23.32 grams
  3. Copper – 12.44 grams

You can choose any design you like, eg a closed bangle or an open kada like the picture above. The important thing is that the proportions should be as above.

When you get it from the jeweller, you should do the following to cleanse and programme it.

  1. On a Friday, Monday or Wednesday in the bright half of the month in the morning.
  2. Sit in front of your puja ghar or altar and face east/north.
  3. Wash the kada in Ganga water or purified water.
  4. Then hold it in your hands and recite the Srisukta over it. This ensures basic prosperity and positivity. Intend the energy of the sukta to enter the kada.
  5. After that if you wish you can recite any mantra of your favourite God. It charges/energizes the kada. A mantra is always in Sanskrit. Eg If you favourite God is Devi Gayatri, you can recite the Gayatri mantra over it 108 times.
  6. Then wear it.

On wearing it, if you can sense it, it will vibrate/ buzz/ get hot. The heat will spread to your entire body and your aura will change. Over the next few days you may fall mildly sick, it is the cleansing process. As your aura (astral self) gets cleaned out, the physical body will also get rid of negativity through a running nose, mild fever or upset stomach. But everything will settle down within 21 days. If you are doing spiritual practice, you will feel the difference almost immediately.

Such trimetal bangles are quite common in India. In fact the shops outside temples routinely sell kadas made of copper and silver. This one is a rather expensive thing as gold is also added. We also wear plain gold kadas. But a mix of silver, gold and copper seems to balance out everything in the horoscope.

  • The gold resonates with the energy of the Sun. This helps intelligence, self-confidence, energy and enhances the vitality. (links to the Anand may kosh, or karan sharir)
  • The silver resonates with the energy of the Moon. It supports the Sookshma sharir, the emotions and the mind.
  • The copper links to the energy of Mars, he is the one responsible for your life and living. He runs this body, the energy channels, the naadis the vital energy, praan. Mars is necessary for health. Any blockages in his naadi structure or praan movement will result in disease to the mind/ body.

This design is age old and the exact proportions have been quoted by Sri Yukteshwar Giri, a very famous astrologer. He had prescribed one for his disciple, Yogananda as mentioned in his book, “Autobiography of a Yogi”. So if you can afford it or want to wear a new piece of statement jewellery get this trimetal kada made. Wear it and feel the difference in you yourself.

Is it better to wear Panchaloha or this combination?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
I have used this combination and several of my friends/clients also used it. it has always worked beautifully.
its composition is age old and the exact proportions are as per the great Jyotishi Yukteshwar Giri.

Knowing which metals to use is one thing, but the proportions are all important. If these ratios are not proper it wll cause an imbalance.

i havent seen the panchloha bracelet mentioned anywhere and i have not seen its proportions described by an authority in Jyotish and finally i have not used it personally. so I cannot comment on it.

Online I can find the proportion of metals to be 2:3:5 but the gold weight is 15g. Not 33g. Has Yukteswar Giri specified the weight of the bangle ? I need to give detailed instructions to the jeweller as he has not made this before. Where can I find this- thank you

    Hi Mam,

thanks for another gem of an article. Can you enlighten us with how did you discover that your Karma is to write? Also how to read signals that previous karma is over? (Like in your case astrology chart reading)

      Hi there

the subconscious or the inner voice knows everything. its the best guide you can have
just tht you should be able to silence your conscious mind sufficiently to be able to listen to what it is saying.

even this blog, one day i will be able to stop writing ..

i had planned to write a book on Ramal Shastra, the actual Shastra with some part of its associated Tantra, i simply could not type,
it was like my fingers could not move
      (and i have a typing speed of over 60 words/min.. )
it is evident tht it does not want to be written..
Possibly the Divine wants to let people use nonsense Arabic and western words and think that Ramal is ‘geomancy’ .. when in fact its a part of ShriVidya and a full fledged Tantra

my brother and I decided to write a book on how to use tarot to actually do ‘magic’ ie use its energies to get things done, again my fingers were like stone. his brain went blank,
we can use what we know but cannot write it as its not our karma..

another book on the actual secrets of IChing was on our minds, but again it too didnt want to be written.. IChing is also derived from Ramal Shastra.

there are so many things which i know but its not my karma to write about them or use them for others..

Thank you Mam for guiding/answering and also sharing examples to clarify further. Very grateful for your patience in answering many questions and since last Friday when I landed on this website, there is an element of positivity + peace (obviously notoriety of mind as well to sometimes ask questions without fully absorbing the content).

Fully aware that there is a long way to go.

P.S. I have been scanning my email for your answer on this question only to realize you have answered 6 days ago and I chanced on it today. Sorry

I don’t know of any trusted jeweller in my area. Can you advise where you got your kada made from? Also, where is the source Sri Yukteshwar Ji mentioned the precise weight?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
you will have to find out for yourself
      i recommend no one

one of my astrology teachers had an old reference book and it was in Hindi. this was a good 20+ yrs ago, so i really cannot remember the details.

Can all the three metal be mixed to form an alloy or metals have to be separate strand? I could not spot the bangle in your arm( Q&A video YT) as shown in the picture. I thought the one you are wearing is an alloy!?

      4. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
        it is not an alloy
its visible in a pic in this post

Also, How did you come to conclusion this is the right metal weight ratio? Do you solely rely on you’re teachers recommendation or you had any research of you’re own?

      6. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
i did not do research. it was in a old book which he had.
all this was a good 20+ yrs ago. earlier we used to take notes, use a pen and paper to write important things in our physical books. and old editions were available with old astrologers, not on archive.
also i do not have a pic of it as this was before the camera phones were available.

at least 20+ members of my family and several of friends and clients wear this.

but with the current gold prices it has become unaffordable for most people.

so you can wear some small items made of these metals on your body. they will work even separately . something is better than nothing.

      Hello Tejaswini

in the picture, ends of the open kada are soldered/joined together. Is there any significance to this? Can they be left open?

      1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
yes, they can open /closed as per your wish.

however do ensure that the edges are smooth else your clothes will get caught in the tips.

I have a question is possible brass in replacement of gold of is will beter to keep gold?
    Is brass ok for surya?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
gold is gold, cannot be replaced by anything else.
it heals at a deep levels. everyone should wear gold, even a small earring is fine but the body needs gold.

i know with the current gold prices the bangle is very expensive
so at least if you can wear small jewellery pieces of the three metals, even separately, it may be useful.
      something is better than nothing.

Hi, The goldsmith wants to solder the end of bangle with silver or other material, just to keep the bangle strands intact, will this cause an imbalance?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
using other metals other than these 3 is not a good idea.
he can use silver, and can adjust it in the total weight of silver

    Namaste Tai,

If one is wearing Trimetal kada, can one also wear other ornaments particularly made of out of these 3 metals? Will it not put the ideal proportions out of balance?

Would you be kind enough to share some light? 🙏

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
the kada is a unit. those proportions are linked to each other in this kada itself. it works.

you can wear other gold / silver etc ornaments on your body.

    Hello Tejaswini,

It’s really a beautiful feeling to wear the bangle. But some questions keeping coming to me. What happens if the delicate weight ratio lost due to wear and tear? i want to know the origin of discovery of the bangle, what books are there to get more details about this bangle? where can one start to look for?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
the body will absorb the metals so there will be some changes in the weight. but it will take a long time. and the changes will be negligible.
if you are from India then you will see that several people here wear mixed metal bangles/ kadas. these weights were given in the older astrology books, this specific one comes from yukteshwar giri who was a very renowned Jyotishi.

      1. Prajwal Manjunath Avatar
        Prajwal Manjunath

        Hi,

Yukteshwar giri comments (as stated in autobiography of a yogi) the design and weight ratios were discovered by the rishis.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
yes, it is quite possible. Shri Yukteshwar giri was a very high level astrologer.

there is this incident i had read in some book.
some people requested him to tell them the birth date of their Guru as they wished to organise some celebrations. so he went to meet that Guru and as that Guru raised his hand/ palm as ashirwad, he literally scanned his palm in tht 2 secs and calculated the birth date.

        Hi,

Do you recall the book name? Do you know any of shri Yukteshwaras works documented?

      4. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
you have asked for reference books in your several comments.
i once knew one Guru from the Swami Pranavananda lineage, he was very aged. and he told me a few stories from the Swami Lahari mahashay’s sampraday.

i studied astrology with my Dad as a child. and his friends would also give me books/horoscopes from their collections to read and all. i was just a teenager and never thought of noting the titles.
