A total lunar eclipse will be coming up on the night of 13^th – 14^th March 2025. The forces of illusion Rahu Ketu and the luminaries Sun Moon will combine in an intense burst of energy. The eclipse is in the Virgo sign, where Ketu will be eclipsing the Moon. (Watch the YouTube video here)

This eclipse is perhaps the most dangerous eclipse in recent times as on the day of the eclipse, Virgo is influenced by all the 9 graha of Jyotish. And opposite it Pisces has 5 planets in it. And Pisces Virgo is the most sensitive axis of the zodiac.

The time frame of the eclipse – 

The positions of the planets,

• The eclipse is occurring in Virgo, Ketu is eclipsing the Moon, both are in Virgo.
• Pisces sign has Sun, Rahu, Mercury, Venus. Pisces is just overloaded with energy at this point of time. And it has Rahu in it. He is just a head and gives his material results through the other planets and signs he influences. And now he has so many additional ‘bodies’ to harness and the unlimited environment of Pisces to experience, thus he will be intense. 
• Then Aquarius has Saturn. It is his Mooltrikon sign and he is powerful in it. He is on the very last degree/minute of the Aquarius sign during the eclipse. He is also involved in this eclipse event as he is very close, within 3deg to Rahu. 
• Taurus has Jupiter in it. Jupiter is not directly involved in the eclipse but as he owns Pisces, he will feel some indirect effects. But Jupiter is directly aspecting Virgo and the eclipse with his 5th aspect.
• Gemini is hosting Mars and he is not involved in the eclipse, but he is directly aspecting Ketu and Moon in Virgo with his 4th aspect. So his energies will be influencing the eclipse.

The main nakshatra involved is Uttaraphalguni with Moon and Ketu. And on the other side, Poorvabhadrapada has Rahu and Saturn and Uttarabhadrapada has Sun, Mercury and Venus. 

Uttaraphalguni nakshatra is the main eclipse environment. It is ruled by the nakshatra devata Aryamaan. Uttaraphalguni allows the intellect to work under the power of divine inspiration. This eclipse will have more effect on all the men who are in prominent roles. Generally people to be more dominating, more confrontational. The eclipse will aggressively push for change and some things which we felt were permanent will see changes.Especially expect significant changes in the governance patterns as all nations who will witness the eclipse suddenly become more authoritarian. A strong sense of national identity will force the public also to also fall in line with this thought process. For some of us, lethargy will increase and people will feel demotivated to do actual productive work. Some of us will feel directionless and unable to focus. Wasting time and procrastination will increase. The financial institutions will feel the strain as money systems see losses. More scandals related to the personal and professional lives of prominent people will come out in the open. On the weather front, there will be unexpected wind movement in several places, which can give unseasonal rain. People connected to the sea should be careful as the water can be dangerous. The entire eclipse lasts for about 3  hours so its global level effects will fade over the next 3 months. The full eclipse is for about 1hr so the really intense effects will be seen for about 1 week before and after the eclipse. For the individual nations, the number of months will match the number of hours it was visible in its territory. The effects are more intense if the national capital city witnesses the eclipse.

The total eclipse is visible in all the nations of North and South Americas, some part of Greenland and some part of Antarctica. These nations will feel the most intense effects of the eclipse energy. USA and Canada are hit by back to back eclipse energies for the past few years and the effects are quite visible. Instability, unrest in the public, financial issues, citizen safety issues, health issues, so many social issues etc are on a record high in these two nations. This trend will continue and the imbalances here will spill over on the rest of the world.

The western part of the Atlantic and the eastern part of the Pacific oceans will also absorb the total eclipse energies. This will cause turbulent weather eg storms, rains etc which can disrupt life on both these coasts. there will also be long term and global weather impacts due to the local weather conditions generated here.

Nations in western Africa, Western Europe, Japan and east coast of China, east coast of Australia, New Zealand etc will see only the partial eclipse. They will suffer less and will recover sooner. 

People who live in these areas, where the eclipse is visible have to perform the pujas – daana, mantra etc to safely channelise the eclipse energies. People who live in areas where the eclipse is not visible need not do these pujas. In any case, the scale of the eclipse is huge. And everyone on this earth will feel its effects directly or indirectly.

The Virgo Pisces axis is the most sensitive axis of the zodiac. Virgo is Karmic sufferings and Pisces is the dissolution of the consciousness. Any energy overload here affects all the signs. So with the eclipse energy, there will be several unexpected changes in everyone’s  lives in this time frame. But more dramatically for the birth Moon’s Virgo and Pisces.

Birth Moon Virgo and birth Moon Pisces – For both these signs, health can be an issue as there will be sleeplessness, astral disturbances, excessive dreams and nightmares.
