Hindu New year Shri Krodhi astrological predictions

Last Updated on October 30, 2024 by Tejaswini

The Vedic year Shobha akruti naam samvatsar (post here) ends on Phalgun Amavasya ie 8th April 2024. Both Sun and the Moon are together in Pisces on this day and this no Moon/ Amavasya marks the end of one zodiac cycle.

The Vedic new year, Shri Krodhi naam Samvatsar thus starts with the sunrise of the Chaitra Shukla Pratipada which falls on 9th Apr 2024. This day is called the Yugadi युगादि. Shri Krodhi is the 38th year in the 60yr Vedic year sequence. Krodhi क्रोधि is a Sanskrit word which means an angry man. Shri Krodhi will end on the Phlagun Amavasya of 29th Mar 2025. The next Vedic Samvatsara (2025- 26) will be the Shri Vishvavasu Naam samvatsara. (My YouTube video here)

For predicting the possible events in this new year, the Nutan Varsha Phala, ie the fruits of the new year, we use a combination of several techniques. The Nav Nayak system of planetary governance (post here) is the most important one. So for the year Shri Krodhi naam samvatsar, the planetary government is as follows –

  • Mars – Mangal – Raja, Neerasadhipati, Sasyadhipati – The King of the Vedic Year, the Ruler of the  essences which do not nourish and Ruler of Food.
  • Venus – Shukra – Senadhipathi, Meghadhipathi and Arghyadhipati – Commander of the Army, Ruler of the Clouds, and Ruler of the Water.
  • Saturn – Shani – Mantri – Chief Minister
  • Sun – Surya – Dhanyadhipati – Ruler of the Grains
  • Jupiter – Bruhaspati – Rasadhipati – Ruler of the essences which nourish.
  • Moon – Chandra – does not have a portfolio
  • Mercury – Budha – does not have a portfolio

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

If you look at the past few years, it is mostly Saturn or Mars who are in charge as the King of the Samvatsar. This trend is indicative of discord and suffering.

And this Vedic new year, Shri Krodhi, the King is Mars, the Commander of the Armies is Venus and the Chief Minister is Saturn. This is a very volatile combination.

This year we have 5 planets directly involved in the rulership scheme. Mars, the King, holds 2 additional posts, so a total of 3 posts. Venus holds 3 posts. Sun, Jupiter and Saturn each hold one position this year. Moon and Mercury do not hold any ministry in Shri Krodhi new year Nav Nayak scheme. In this year the naturally cruel planets have more portfolios. Moon being absent from the government means that the natural keywords of the Moon, nourishment, need, traditions, culture, water, anything ‘milky white’ in color etc will take a back seat. And Mercury not having a portfolio means that his keywords which include logical thinking and common sense, will be marked by their absence.

Then this is the basic D1 chart of the new sunrise. If you are an advanced student of Jyotish you can use the other charts, Ashtakvarga, other chakras etc as per your level of competence.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

As usual at sunrise the lagna/ ascendant degree is in Pisces with the rising Sun. The Moon, Rahu Sun and the Lagna degree are close together as this new year begins almost immediately after the intense solar eclipse of 8th Apr 2024. Venus is also in Pisces, he is exalted here. He is placed a bit away from these four but in the same sign. Then Saturn and Mars are practically on the same degree in Aquarius, this is a very dangerous combination in Aquarius. Ketu is in Virgo. And Jupiter and Mercury are in Aries but placed relatively far from each other.

The actual rising degree /Lagna is heavily influenced by Sun, Moon, Venus and Rahu is  practically on top of it . This stellium is a burst of extremely intense energy on the new sunrise of the new Vedic year. Everyone will want to do so many various things indicated by all these planets in this year. Shri Krodhi will be a very busy and happening new year for all of us.

Briefly about the planets,

  • The Sun is well placed and has enough power to achieve his goals. But there is a very typical reading for the Sun for Shri Krodhi. He is the natural ruler, the natural King, but in this year he has been given the rulership of Grains, he is the Dhanyadhipati. This is not comfortable for him, so he will create several selfish, entitlement type and political problems in his domain. The government will take several genuine, progressive agriculture related reforms, but vested interests, traitors and enemies of the nation will misuse and politicise these issues to harm the nation. This trend will be seen world wide and not just in Bharat. So genuinely patriotic people should be ready to defend their respective nations. The food security and civil peace may be at stake. If your nation exists, then so do you.
  • The Moon is powerful and will give an aggressive tilt to his significations. But he does not have a portfolio, so will feel suffocated.
  • Rahu practically on the Lagna will create an intense desire to achieve, to gain heights and to do something outstanding. He is the one who is subtly in charge of things in this Shri Krodhi.
  • Venus has power and capacity to do good and especially with regard to his portfolio. He has a lot of work this year, 3 portfolios including the critical Commander of the Army.  Hopefully he, being the Daityaguru, will be able to give some positive direction to the Daityas Rahu and Ketu who are his disciples.
  • The Jupiter is also capable and auspicious. As the Rasadhipati, all the things connected with Jupiter will help us grow in this Shri Krodhi.
  • Mercury has no portfolio to express himself sufficiently. But he is combust and retrograde. So some of his power will be channeled through the Sun. He will support logical thinking in agriculture to some extent.
  • Ketu’s position indicates that we will be focussed on what we want and ignore dissenting voices. Partnerships may not be very reliable in this year. ‘Scattering’ of partnerships. He will give spiritual gains for some of us. And for the rare ones with a favourable birth Rahu and Ketu, he will give immense material benefits from business endeavours.
  • Saturn is the Minster, he will enforce his karmic agenda of work. No options are given this year, we all have to work hard or suffer badly. Saturn in Poorvabhadrapada for this entire year has made the situation very dicey.
  • Mars is the King and with 2 additional posts. He will be aggressive and dangerous this year. He will want to drive in his point irrespective of the potential losses. He is capable and will take harsh decisions in the national interests.

Saturn exactly conjunct with Mars in the 12th in Aquarius is very typical and dangerous. They are on the exact same degree and that too in Poorvabhadrapada nakshatra and this is primarily a destructive combination. The overall mood will be aggressive and everyone will want to crush their enemies. Also the enemies will want to attack. This energy will be now continued for the entire Shri Krodhi new year. Sudden karmic and uncomfortable changes are on for everyone. Be ready for some unexpected and distressing events which will change your perspective on several levels. This combination will cause natural calamities, man made calamities, sabotages, high risk behaviour etc throughout Shri Krodhi. I am expecting more deaths due to violence of various types in Shri Krodhi.

The King and the Chief Minister are exactly together in Aquarius the sign of the collective. They will work together, perfectly in sync. And this combination will give its full result in Shri Krodhi, the ‘angry man’.

Overall the environment will be full of ups and downs. Sudden changes in the personality, environments and our interactions with our surroundings are going to be very common. There will be unexpected opportunities and also several pitfalls. On a personal level, a lot will depend on the power of Rahu in your chart. He will decide how you make use of the energies of Shri Krodhi, the Hindu new year. (The predictions for each of the signs are continued in this post.)

The eclipses occurring in this year are,

  • Partial Lunar eclipse – 17 – 18 Sept 2024
  • Annular Solar eclipse – 2nd Oct 2024
  • Total Lunar eclipse – 13 – 14 Mar 2025
  • Partial Solar eclipse – 29th Mar 2025

Major transits this year are,

  • Jupiter moving into Taurus sign Vrushabh rashi on 1st May 2024. He will stay here for the complete year.
  • Saturn transits to Pisces sign, Meen rashi on 29th Mar 2025, this is the last day of Shri Krodhi, the Phalgun Amavasya.
  • Rahu and Ketu do not transit in Shri Krodhi. They remain in Pisces and Virgo respectively.
  • The other planets will transit as per their shorter time frames.

Mars – Mangal Varshaphal – Mars is Raja, Neerasdhipati and Sasyadhipati. The King also being in charge of the essences which do not nourish is not a good combination. And he is with Saturn. So this year the government will have to face several challenges. There will be terrorist attacks or attempts to disturb civil peace or anti national groups coming out publicly against the government. The dangerous activities of illegal aliens will be evident in this year. Criminal activities will increase.

The government is going to be very strict and ruthless about national security and public interest. New laws, new schemes, new rules will be brought in to protect the nation, the land and the genuine citizens. All the positive steps that the government takes, all the forward thinking reforms will be challenged by traitors and vested interests. The enforcement agencies will be active and the courts too will have a lot of work this year. Courts will be strict and criminals will spend time behind bars. Well known politicians, big names etc may be arrested in this year.

People who work in dangerous or unbalanced situations eg doctors, emergency personnel, lawyers, politicians, police, army etc will have a good/active year. Wars will continue in the world. Things will escalate, new fronts will open. All attempts to restore peace will fail. There will be natural disasters in increasing frequency and they will take their toll. Also man made disasters like accidents, sabotage, terrorism etc will cause deaths.

There will be discord on several levels, in the marriage, in the family, in the society and in the world. People will feel alone and social media will be a negative influence. Especially social media influencers who showcase their ‘perfect’ lives will face a burnout. Public health will be affected by adulterated foods. Also new diseases will be discovered which will make their impact felt.

Young men and women will become more egoistic, selfish and thus suffer from loneliness, breakups in marriage/partnerships etc. Aggression, competition, discord will be evident even in the closest family relationships. Family issues, separations divorce, property issues etc will keep the courts busy in this year.

On the international levels the ongoing overt wars will continue. The covert attempts at destabilising other nations will also continue. Border clashes will continue. But a major event will happen either in the USA or in the Middle East in the late 2024 start of 2025. This will be triggered by Rahu and Saturn getting within 15deg of each other. Rahu in Pisces and Saturn in Aquarius. And later Saturn will enter Pisces with Rahu already in it. This will cause a significant destabilisation all over. Everyone must remain alert and prepared for what can happen then.

Venus – Shukra Varshaphal – Venus is Senadhipati, Meghadhipathi and Arghyadhipati

The nation will invest in modern defence systems. The defence budget will increase and lots of weapons will be bought. The intelligence agencies, armed forces and also the civil police will work to control terrorist activities. Terrorist activity will also be on a high and international borders and our sea borders also might see action. Politicians and prominent people will be arrested for illegal activities and fraud. Respectable looking people will he shown as frauds. Misuse of political power, financial crimes and sex related crimes will come to the open. Courts will give path breaking judgments in such cases. Careers in such fields, – armed forces, law, medicine, research will be very rewarding in this year. Summers will be extremely hot. People should be careful about their health as dehydration, sun stroke etc can be dangerous. Glacial melting will increase. Air pollution will increase, in fact pollution of all sorts will increase. Smog like conditions can occur in places. Nations or states will get into serious disputes on sharing water. Drought like situation in some places will be worrying. Later, rains will be generally good and in some places extreme. The mountain states will see landslides and plains will see floods. Coastal areas, especially the east coast will see cyclones. Cities will face water logging and water borne diseases will also increase. There is a strong chance of at least one major earthquake in this year. Venus will support agriculture and crops like sugarcane, flowers, fruits etc. The prices of these products will also go up. Imports of such goods will be profitable.

Saturn – Shani Varshaphal – Saturn is the Mantri so ‘work’ will be emphasised. Everyone will be required to perform whatever work is allocated to them. Young men and women will feel more patriotic and may join the armies in greater numbers. Military/ police action will be required in several situations in this year and it will be decisive. Small units, start-ups, small scale entrepreneurs will be favoured. Try to expand your sources of earning, this year Saturn will support you. New types of jobs will be created in addition to the traditional systems. New business models, loan schemes, etc will be implemented which will give more jobs to the unemployed. Poverty alleviation schemes will show results.

Political leaders will try to balance strict governance and welfare schemes. But vote bank politics will not work. Only those people who are genuine and real will be supported by the public. There will be several challenges in this year, but Saturn will support. A revamp of government rules, systems and processes is due. But during the process, there will be some initial hardship. However Saturn will handle situations practically and effectively. Resources under the earth will be explored and exploited effectively. Natural disasters will be managed effectively. Clashes on the border and terrorist activity will be neutralised. There will be a few uneasy national security related situations in the nation. Crime, cyber crime, road accidents, sabotages, etc will increase. Wars of various types will cause destruction. Enforcement agencies, police, uniformed forces etc will be strengthened. Share market will remain unpredictable and only long term gains will be possible. Invest in stocks only if you have experience of working the market.

Sun Surya Varshaphal – Sun is Dhanyadhipati for the Vedic new year Shri Krodhi. Things which are found under the ground or under the water will come out into the open. This can mean that there will be new oil wells etc, mines, ores, etc located. New archeological discoveries are possible. Or fish and other produce from the sea can increase in volume. Secrets which were concealed for long will come out into the public eye. All this will lead to several controversies. People working in the mining, oil drilling, natural gas sectors should be careful as chances of accidents and sabotages are possible.

In this year, the prices of the red or yellow colored crops, grains, groundnuts, spices, chillis etc will increase.  Dairy industry also gives good profits. Production may be initially affected, as rains will be erratic initially but later will pick up. Exports of agricultural goods and natural resources goods will increase. Consumption of grains etc will increase. The government will try to reform agriculture and natural resources exploration/ exploitation. Or try to take measures to reduce prices etc for the public good. But anti-national people with vested interests will create a ruckus and this will affect the genuine farmers of the nation.

The government will try to utilise all available land resources by re-development and pushing real estate projects. But buying a flat especially in the cities will remain out of reach of the middle class. The government will try to reform the real estate sector, tax, finance etc sectors but protests from vested interests will scuttle this.

Jupiter – Bruhaspati Varshaphal. Jupiter is the Rasadhipati for this Vedic year.

‘Religion’ will be busy this year. Flashy and commercial use of religion will cause deep seated issues. Controversies related to religion will be high. Religions issues will dominate the public mind. The TV type of ‘masters’ ‘healers’ ‘faith leaders’ will be prominent. ‘Spirituality’ will be reduced to just a fancy hashtag.

However Dharmic activities too will be on the rise. New temples will be built, old controversies will be settled on the side of Dharma. The genuine Sanyasi and Sadhus will be active. People will donate for Dharma and here will be positivity especially when Jupiter enters Taurus. Try to follow your own conscience. Do some daily pujas, worship your family deity. Try to bring Dharma, the correct foundation in your lives. It will help you on so many levels.

Moon and Mercury are absent from the Nav Nayak of the Shri Krodhi.

Food will fail to nourish. Fast foods, sweetened drinks, adulterated foods, A1 milk from mixed breeds and western cows etc will harm the national health. Such ‘modern food’ related businesses will be profitable. Overall price of food will increase. And price of the real nourishing food will increase even more. Child birth related complications can increase. So if you are planning a baby this year, you must totally follow your doctors advice. Illogical behaviour, nonsensical arguments, temper and immaturity will be more. Wrong diagnosis and wrong inferences will cause damage. Do not take loans as you might find it difficult to repay these. Avoid investing in ‘too good to be true’ schemes as they will, most likely, be a fraud. Post Sept 2024, gold, silver, precious metals prices will go sky high. Gold will soon go out of reach of the middle class. And is a sign of the recession which will soon come.

Be careful of your emotions and your thoughts. Keep a tight rein on your mind/ Manas and on your intelligence/ Buddhi in this Shri Krodhi. If we are not careful, these two, without portfolio, planetary forces can cause subtle havoc in our lives.

Watch my video on Youtube here.

Pujas for welcoming the new Samvatsar are similar all over Bharat. There are local and cultural variations but the basic concept is the same. And there are two compulsory things which are done on this day which help us ‘tune in’ to the energy of the new year.

Briefly. Everyone wakes up before sunrise, gets fresh etc. Rangoli, Kolam etc is drawn outside the front door of the home. Torans, garlands of marigold flowers, ripened wheat stalks, mango leaves etc are tied to the front door. The daily Agnihotra is performed at the exact sunrise time. Arghya is offered to the newly risen Sun. Regular pujas of the household deities are performed.

Then the head of the family reads the Varsha phal from the new year’s Panchangam and the entire family hears it. This is compulsory and the most important part of the new year morning’s puja.

And the second compulsory thing is the naivedyam offered to the household deities. The special naivedyam for this day is – a mixture of neem flowers/new neem leaves (1 tablespoon), coriander seeds  (1 tablespoon), jaggery (1 tablespoon), tamarind (one teaspoon of the fruit pulp), asafoetida (less than a quarter teaspoon) and sea salt (less than a quarter teaspoon) coarsely crushed together. This mixture is first offered to the household deity after the pujas and then everyone in the family must eat one small spoon of this as a prasad. This is the first item that you will eat on the new year morning.

Then everyone goes to the local temple, does puja of the local deity, gives Daan and intends for a happy new year.

On the new year day, Yugadi, do take some time to reflect on what has happened to you in this past year Shri Shobhanakruti and think on how you will use the opportunities that the new Shri Krodhi will bring for you in the coming year.

As the world enters the Hindu New Year Shri Krodhi naam samvatsar, all of us have to be prepared for dynamic shifts. There will be several challenges and for some of us some rare opportunities. Mars is the reigning King, his Minister Saturn and Venus is his Commander, thus Shri Krodhi is characterised aggressiveness and assertiveness. Navigating this energy requires mindfulness and adaptability. As we prepare for the auspicious traditions of Yugadi, let us also prepare for the opportunities and trials that lie ahead in the coming year Shri Krodhi naam samvatsar.

(The predictions for each of the signs are continued in this post.)

    Namaste Tejaswini Ji ,

Thankyou so much for the details.
    Few questions please.

    1. I reside in Canada. Am using Drik Panchangam. As per calender , On April 9th Yugadi sunrise time (6:48am EST) , moon already moved to Aries ( Asw 2nd) .
We are supposed to prepare chart and analyse it as per city we are residing right?
Calculating Moorthi’s also depend on the chart as per city .
Please confirm if my understanding is right.

    2. Please advise if Navnayak rules are decided as per India chart or chart based on city we are residing? I calculated based on city I am residing. All roles matched except for Sasyadhipathi. I got moon as Sasyadhipati.

    3. Can you please explain how we get Raja Pujyam and Avamanam? I could calculate aadayam and Vyaayam based on formula but don’t know about Raja Pujyam and Avamanam.
Predictions based on this are generalized as per rasi but curious to know how the numbers arrive.

    Thankyou so much ,
    Sirisha Akella

      Hi there

      1. i use the data for Ujjain, so this would be applicable as a global energy.

but for the individual nations / people it will be as per the sunrise at that capital city / city

      2. capital city would give national level results and city of residence will give results for that area.
depends on what level results you are looking for.

      3. i do not remember. i never used them much. reducing the entire thing to one number did not feel very useful.
but i am sure that some ref book has this data.

      Hi there
i think you are confusing the basic solar year with the Vedic/Hindu/Luni-solar year.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/06/02/four-ways-of-estimating-time/

      i will try to explain.

      1. the Vedic/ Hindu new year begins on the chaitra shukla pratipada, ie the first sunrise of the first day of the waxing moon which comes after the phalgun amavasya. this is the no moon when both sun and moon are in pisces/ meen .

      i hope this is clear?

      2. Vedic or Hindu year is called a samvatsar or a varsh
      it is solar+lunar in nature.
that means that it considers the lunar year + the solar year

      lunar day = tithi
      solar day = vaar

lunar year is the time it takes for the moon to get back at the same degree on the zodiac
solar year is the the it takes for the sun to get back at the same degree of the zodiac
both are different measures of time.

and the vedic year is a combination of both. the mathematical adjustment is the adhik maas
it is a lunar month in which surya sankranti does not take place.
not going into this right now as it will confuse you more. i think i will have to write a post on the math of the adhik maas.

Anyways – the vedic year is solar+lunar
that is why it keeps perfect time with both the sun and the moon

      3. now the 14th Apr that you think is the new ‘vedic’ year is the start of the solar new year.
the Sun enters Mesh rashi /Aries sign on 9:20pm 13th Apr 2024. this is called the Mesh sankranti.
sankranti means the movemnt of the Sun into a new sign.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/04/17/twelve-aditya-the-sun-gods/

and we consider the new year to begin with the sunrise not midnight. so the new solar year begins with the sunrise of the 14th Apr 2024.
the mesh sankranti is a major festival and celebrated all over Bharat as the Sun is exalted for 1 whole solar month.

in fact every Sankranti is a festival and at least we Jyotishis have to do some pujas on this day. Makar sankranti his entry into Capricorn is another major festival.

14th Apr is not the start of the Vedic/Hindu new year. it is just a basic new solar year.

      i hope this was clear?

this is the reason why Math /Ganit Gol/ astronomy and Sanskrit is all important when learning Jyotish.

One can see the inflammation that has gone up highly on a societal level as well as personal feel. Everybody seems so angry and selfish everywhere. Hope Shani dev puts a check by constricting minds and not let them be in a reckless rage.

    Hello Tejashwini ji,

WRT adhika maasa, i have some queries. please clarify.

There are 12 rashi’s and each maasa begins after amavasya. i.e. when there is a conjunction of surya & chandra in each rashi.

Basically in a regular lunar year:
1st maasa(chaitra) is completed – when amavasya happens in mesha raashi
2nd maasa (vaishaka) is completed – when amavasya happens in vrushaba rashi.
3rd maasa (jyeshta) is completed – when amavasya happens in mithuna rashi. And so on until
12th maasa (phalguna) is completed – when amavasya happens in meena rashi

Ugadi begins after amavasya happens in meena rashi i.e. when surya & chandra is in meena rashi.
Surya & chandra never go retrograde. So now when there is an adhika maasa in a particular lunar year there will be 13 lunar maasa/months between 2 Ugadi’s.
But with only 12 rashi’s (hence possibility of 12 amavasya) how does a extra lunar month/maasa come into being i.e. 13 amavasya’s in-between 2 Ugadi’s?? I hope my question is clear. Please clarify. Thanks.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
i knew there would b Q when i typed in ‘adhik maas’

first a Q for you. what is the definition of a lunar month?

      1. Ullas Avatar
        Ullas

        Hello Tejashwini ji,

1 lunar month is 30 days i.e. amavasya to amavasya. As in, it starts on shukla paksh prathama/pratipada just after a preceeding amavasya and ends on amavasya of that month.

Lunar month/maasa are chaitra, vaishaka, jyestha etc until phalguna month. Ugadi falls on chaitra maasa shukla paksh pratipada. Just after surya-chandra conjunction in meena rashi.

So from 1 Ugadi to next Ugadi is when surya-chandra conjunctiuon (amavasya) happens in meena rashi to the next surya-chandra conjunction(amavasya) in meena rashi. Hope i am clear now. So my query is with 12 rashi, how does 13(12 maasa +1 adhik maasa) come into being? Please clarify. Thanks.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hello Tejashwini ji,

Ok, am not sure what exactly is a lunar month. Fro m whatever little i know, lunar month is 30 days or basically time taken for chandra to make 1 full round across all rashi’s to conjunct with surya again. As in, currently its phalguna month. So from surya-chandra conjunction which happened in kumbha rashi untill the upcoming conjunction in meena rashi.
Or am not sure here. Please clarify. Thanks.

        With Regards

    Off the topic.
I heard from many people that who ever is giving astrology consultations are supposed to do Devi Upasasana
else they may end up in troubles and the predictions what they gave may go wrong. Is this really true?

Am assuming reading SriSuktam ,Soundarya Lahari, Durga SaptaSloki , chanting Gayatri mantra and SoHam dhyanam will help.(Picked day to day routine stuff from your blog)
If we have to chant beeja mantra of the planets , can we do it on week lord basis i.e Sun beeja mantra on Sundays and Moon beej mantra on mondays etc

      Hi there
      yes, daily pujas are necessary

      Specifically for divination –
Devi Sarasvati, is the most important. so Gayatri mantra is paramount.
Shri Sukta is universally applicable, suits all Devi. and is the foundational sukta of the Shri Vidya. its your first step into Shri Vidya so is incredibly important. its the biggest gift from Devi Shri to us.
Soham is your own breath. if you are aware of your breath the answers will come through your own breath. read the swar shastra. everything is in your breath. if you can understand this, you are omniscient.

but do only that much which you can do easily. it should never feel like a burden. ‘dig one well but dig it deep’ is applicable here too.

yes, you can do it on weekdays as per day lords.
      rahu ketu on tuesdays saturdays

i like it that you own the questions you ask by writing your real name in the comment. it adds to the energy of the question.

Thank you so much for your wisdom blogs. I am novice with respect to Astrology. I wanted to check my understanding on vipreet rajyog. In a horoscope with Libra Asc, 3rd and 6th Lord Jupiter is placed in 8th house (Taurus) combust (only 2 degree away from sun 27degree (11th Lord) and Jupiter 25 degree). Will Jupiter placement be considered creating Vipreet Rajyog. Person has just started Jupiter Maha Dasha – will it go well or does he require to take any remedial measure e.g. daan or jaap ?

      Hi there
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/04/20/sometimes-malefics-help-you/

for libra asc Sun is the badhak lord, wrote a lot on badhaks.

so jupiter with sun in the 8th is going to be useful.

jupiter is capable of delivering vipreet rajyog. also check the power of the rest of the chart.

      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/08/08/jupiter-mahadasha/

doing remedial things once in a while is always useful.
mantra can be as simple as jupiter beej mantra recited thrice every Thursday
and a weekly thursday daan can be as simple as putting some seeds/ food for birds in your balcony.

but if you can do a simple daily routine, eg 5 mins in the morning/ evening it will be a lifetime all purpose remedy.

Thank you so much for your very prompt reply. It really helps. I missed to mention in same horoscope there is exchange of 8L (also Lagna Lord) Venus placed in 9th House and 9th lord Mercury (also 12th lord) placed in 8th house but not combust. In a way 3rd, 6th, 11th, 9th and 12th lords all placed in 8th house. Does it mean 8th house becomes the main karam sthal for the person(age 36 yrs not married) in this life.

      Hi there
yes it does, several planets in a house bring it to the forefront of life.

for libra asc, 8th house is not so problematic as it is owned by the asc lord. have written a bit about this in the last part of this post.
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/19/venus-and-mars-placed-in-the-8th-house/

i have also written a lot on libra asc. 8th house, planets in the 8th house. 9th house, 12th 3rd 6th lord in 8th is a strong vipreet rajyog. asc lord in 9th is raj yog.
do ref the index page for more posts on these combinations

Hi, thank you for amazing knowledge you share with the world. It is truly admirable.

If you don’t mind, I want to ask a specific question about karma. The inner debate I am having is whether I should let difficult situation pass without retaliating or fight it out for my well being and livelihood.

To give you background, I am a Gemini asc with piesces moon – purva bhadra. I am going through sade sati. Even before, I had difficult time. One of the former superior is being extremely, harsh, bullying to the extend I had mental breakdown and even when I changed job, going out of the way to create even more problems by (extreme) badmouthing. I am finding difficult to find another job. I tried multiple times to talk to him but he feels more empowered with such talks. What is the right way to handle and burn karma in such cases? What is the point where you tolerate or decide to follow kshatriya dharma? I of course do my daily prayers.

I know you dont give consultations (although astrologers say, i have nothing to worry – my charts are fine) but just to give you context, saturn in 6thH vakri. Mars in 7th vakri and currently ongoing Merc/Sat chhidra dasha. Ketu in 5thH aspected by Jup from 9th. D60 has piesces asc. with sat in 6th and Merc in 8thH.

      Hi there
sangharsh is a part of life. Difficult situations are always going to be there. and fight you must.
as gemini asc you have the necessary risk taking ability, practical skills and a capacity to manage things. 6th house saturn in scorpio has enough power to give you ruthlessness necessary to handle your enemies.
take a step back, analyse the situation, arrive at the best possible options and fight for your well being and livelihood.

never tolerate what is intolerable. it creates more problems in the future.

if you believe in Bhagwan Maruti then on every saturday evening. it will help.
remove nazar in any way you choose. wash your hands.
then recite any of his stotras and offer oil in your household puja ghar lamp. actually this is a routine part of Hindu households so may be you are already doing this.

    Namaste Tejaswiniji 🙏

Thank you for sharing your wisdom with the needy ones 🙏

Would like to seek your advice on trips to ChaturDham the last quarter (October) of 2024 since you mentioned that there are chances of landslides in the mountain states post rainfall. Do you see any imminent threats for the area during this time?

Greatly appreciate your guidance on this 🙏

    PranAm 🙏

      Hi there

the rains stop max by pitrupaksh, and some basic showers during navratri.
the major chunk of rain is in the ashadh and sharavan months, not in ashwin.
if u want and if the deities approve u can plan your yatra to Uttarakhand.

Thank you much for the assurance, Tejaswiniji 🙏🙏🙏
It gives a lot more confidence when it comes from you, especially someone indigenous to the place in question..

        Hi there
i have been living here in the Himalaya for the past 14yrs now. have travelled practically everywhere in Uttarakhand, roads are good, even for the off beat locations.

reg – the yatra – the new chardham highway project is really good, and lots of people come. every temple is so highly accessible that it is very very crowded. even Shri Rudranath mandir is ‘crowded’ in its own way these days.
