Extreme energy of Mars Ketu Rahu Saturn: 2025 in turmoil

The current times are turbulent, the cruel planets, kroor graha have the world in their grip in a continuous series of dangerous combinations.

All these terrible combinations back to back indicate a karmic script. All the past deeds from the past lives and from the ancestral lineage of the individual and also the collective will give their karmic fruit, good or bad. At the collective levels, all those nations/ groups who have stolen from others, or have indulged in extreme acts of violence, cruelty, they and their descendants will face the consequences. And all those groups of people, nations etc who have suffered needlessly will get another chance.

Karma notes two things – 1. Acting against Dharma and 2. Failing to act as per Dharma. ‘Dharma’ here simply means ‘Purpose’ which includes duty towards the person, family, society, the things you are responsible for, functional role, work profile, basic foundation etc. We Indians had to suffer under invasions because some of our ancestors failed to act as per Dharma. And as the Mahabharat teaches us, sometimes peace and sometimes violence is Dharma. Do read the Udyog parva of the Mahabharat. It is necessary for developing critical thinking. (Buy Gita press books, they have the original Sanskrit and the translation in the Indian languages. And at very reasonable price.)

Now Mars will enter Leo the ‘royal sign’ on 7th June 2025. And he will be conjunct Ketu and aspect Rahu with his 7th aspect. And he will also aspect Saturn with his more cruel 8th aspect. All this cruel energy getting together will trigger another round of intense turmoil on the local and global levels. (Do refer to the index page for more posts on predictions for 2025)

The signs involved are Leo, Aquarius and Pisces. Leo means governments, authorities, leaders, it is the quality of leadership that a nation has, its governance model. And Mars is very comfortable in the fiery Simha rashi. Ketu is actually the strongest graha, and he too feels at home in Leo. Then Kumbha rashi is all about the like minded groups of people who want to interact, trade, explore, perhaps break some rules, all this because they want to gain in some way. And Rahu likes this environment, he generally make good use of the Aquarian energy. Pisces is infinity, the dissolution of the physical, it opens the routes to the other dimensions. And Saturn is comfortable in Meen rashi.

So all the 4 graha are comfortable in their respective signs and individually capable of good results. But now they are also directly interacting with each other and this complicates things.  Lets see how.

We know the phrase ‘Kujavat Ketu’ which means that Mars and Ketu are similar. Ketu is the purely astral subjective energy and Mars is his objective astral+physical counter part. Now they are conjunct in Leo and this is intense. Channeling this energy is going to be difficult for most of us. This combination can be positively used for highly karmic actions which require intelligence, courage and physical strength. The Kaal sarpa fortnights in this time will be dangerous.

Rahu and Mars are enemies and together they get very intense. Rahu enhances Mars’s objective results on the subjective plane, so emotions, desires the ‘dark thrill’ of engaging in violence or committing crimes will be felt by several of us very deeply.  There will be violence, danger, invasions and also deaths. This energy can be used only for highly karmic destructive actions, actions which require cunning, an ability to disregard all rules and an overriding desire to achieve at all costs.

Saturn in Uttarabhadrapada should have given us good results, but he is irritated by Rahu being so close to him. Actually Rahu is somewhat like Saturn, Shanivat Rahu. And together they are triggering all the curses active in our lives. Again their combined energy can be used only for removing curses, either by enduring through them or by doing intense pujas to reduce their negative effects. Or using them actively to trigger negative events and destruction for your enemies. And now added to this is Mars is aspecting Saturn with his cruel 8th aspect, which will irritate him even more. Saturn does not get along with Mars to the extent that he gives his worst results in Mars’s signs – Aries and Scorpio. Again this interaction is a destructive energy.

(Watch the short video on YouTube link)

Abstract representation of energy and movement, featuring a glowing orb surrounded by intricate, flowing patterns in shades of red and black, evoking a sense of intensity and dynamism.

On the individual levels, the most important thing is to review all your plans carefully. Avoid acting unless you are completely ready, as premature actions and unwonted aggression can spoil things. And avoid rash behaviour. On the positive side, if your birth chart is powerful and the transit chart supports, this energy can help you finish lingering things in one way or the other. You can act in the ‘all or nothing’ style and put an end to uncertainties and uncomfortable situations in your life. A lot will depend on your personal intelligence and risk taking ability.

In the spiritual context, if you wish, you can take up any rigorous activity which requires great discipline, any tantrik anunshthan or any puja or any worship of the Ugra devatas. The aggressive energy needs some outlet so do something, even for 5mins daily. A good option is to mentally recite the Saptashati from the Devi Mahatmya as a daily practice. Invoking Devi Chandi will be helpful for the nation and also for the world. In this time, we all should request the Parameshwar to make good his promise of the Bhagwat Gita.

परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् | धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे || 4.8 ||

“I, The Eternal Parameshwar, will take birth whenever necessary, for the protection of the good people, for the destruction of the evil people and for the strong establishment of Dharma – the auspicious foundations of life.”

A digital illustration of Jupiter partially illuminated by a sunset, set against a dark background, creating a cosmic atmosphere.

Then on the global level, we will see the effects of this combined destructive energy. The governments will become more authoritarian, throughout. Illegal aliens, terrorists, lawless elements of the society will feel the heat. Any institution, any public figure, anyone who is an obstacle to fairness will be removed from power, or at least there will be strong attempts to do so. Reforms will be proposed, the leaders will at least acknowledge that we need to change some things at the very fundamental levels. The roadblocks to real gains for the collective as a whole have to be removed. We will see some very bold moves from some national governments and public leaders as they try to take on big issues and try to solve them via out of the box thinking. Naturally these will also be opposed by groups of people who have vested interests. All nations must use this cruel energy to take unpleasant yet necessary decisions for the safety of their genuine citizens. Anti-social elements and terrorist nations will also use the power of these four cruel graha for unconventional terrorist strategies in this time. The nations must be on high alert and people must also use their common sense, not get swayed by rhetoric and emotional talks.

Smaller nations who were traditionally sidelined by the ‘bigger global powers’ will find the courage to speak for they want. These small movements will pick up steam and eventually lead to a change in the current global pecking order. This will happen in the next 10yrs or so.

In Africa, Russia will continue to encourage the African nations to get out of the French colonial rule. And some African leaders will speak boldly about their vision for their nations which will be good for them in the long run. African nations have incredible natural resources which are even now being illegally used as colonies by France. Once these nations are independent, their wealth will stop flowing out. And with time, under the more fair guidance of Russia, they develop their own governance structures which will help long term global stability and peace.

Asia is burning on several levels.

  1. The Russia Ukraine war will obviously intensify. The latest misadventure of Ukraine will have serious repercussions. Russia will think and give an appropriate response which will most likely result in a division of the land of Ukraine.
  2. In the Middle East region. The Israel – Palestine war will also intensify, as more nations gang together against Israel.
  3. Then the European region is already unstable with illegal aliens flooding into it. These nations must use this energy and act decisively to remove the illegal aliens from their lands. This time will support such activities. This time is like a final wake up call for them. They have to act now to protect their people and culture.
  4. For India, June will be a bit average, we might see some confusing events. Mars in Leo can affect our economy to some extent and our physical land might see some challenges. But July will be more positive, the nation and its genuine citizens will be in a more aggressive mood. The nation must make every attempt to remove the traitors, spies, aliens from its territory, neutralise the anti-national elements. There will be more attempts to sabotage our national assets, industries, attempts to create civil unrest in this time, etc so authorities should be on high alert for these 2 months. And Operation Sindoor will continue.
  5. Then for our two unstable neighbours, these 2 months are extremely turbulent. Pakistan’s economy will collapse, perhaps beyond recovery. And I expect the separatist leaders of Baluchistan, Sindh etc to get even more aggressive, they can get major gains for their people in this time. Similarly for Bangladesh, changes in the governance, civil riots and perhaps an overall breakdown of the nation is very much possible.
  6. China will simmer internally but not take any overt action. Covertly it is attempting to destabilise the nations around it, including India. It will continue posturing regarding the Taiwan issue but chances of actual action are low.

In the Americans. The USA will also have its share of problems. Its leaders or spokespersons may give confused and confusing statements about their national policy, trade etc, which can damage the public image of the nation. This nation is genuinely powerful and it should re-think its policies to protect its citizens, improve its local economy, solve its internal issues etc rather than trying ‘fighting terror’ on the global level.

A colorful depiction of the solar system featuring the Sun and planets, including Jupiter and Saturn, set against a starry background.

These 2 months, June and July 2025, are going to be full of unexpected twists in the governance, society, finance, and also in public sentiment. The cruel graha – Mars Ketu Rahu and Saturn working through the signs Leo Aquarius and Pisces will bring in a rapid series of changes. If the nations use their power intelligently and courageously, they can solve a lot of pending issues. Otherwise the terrorist elements and the rouge nations will use their power for terrorist activity. In any case turbulence is certain.

Mam, can you please name today’s Sat Gurus (real gurus)

    1. Tejaswini Avatar

      Hi there
      how would i know?
      it can be anyone..

the energy of the guru is defined in this stotra

      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/16/guru-stotra-guru-defined/

and if you have access to the horoscope then here are some combinations ..

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2024/09/04/astrological-combinations-for-a-genuine-guru/

but everyone chooses their own Guru, this is the most critical decision of your lifetimes, so be very careful.

till then you can take up the Soham mantra as a practice and read one shlok of the Bhagwat Gita, just one and in Sanskrit as a daily routine. think over the Shlok, try to look up the word meanings.
Shri Krishna starts speaking the Gita from the 2-11 shlok. shloks before this are the introduction and background.

      Hi there
Sindoor is a pure Sanskrit word. it is the red colored compound of mercury, or later lead.
      it is used in tantra.

      but for householder level women
the Sindoor is the red line that married women have to draw on their foreheads from the third eye/middle of the eyebrows to the brahmarandhra/top of the head. traditionally it is a line. this indicates the married status and that the husband is alive.

unmarried women do not wear this. they wear only a red dot on the third eye. not draw it up till the top of the head.

and widows cannot not wear it. neither the dot not the line. they cannot wear red on their forehead.
the terrorists murdered the husbands, so their young wives became widows, their ‘sindoor got wiped off’ .
so the nation named the counter offensive ‘Sindoor’ in their honor as a way of respect and also condolence.
and a promise that the nation will avenge its sons who were cruelly murdered and its daughters who were widowed and mocked.

modern women have modified the design a bit, they now draw one dot at the third eye or draw a half moon crescent at the forehead and a line from the hairline to the top of the head.

for women, only the husband can apply red to her forehead/head. no other man is allowed to touch the head of a woman.

this Sindoor indicates that she is in the form of a Gruhalaxmi, or Ardhangini ie Devi Shakti in her most potent form.

you will have to contact your regular astrologer for the muhurt calculations.

mantra – you can mentally recite the varun sukta. or listen to it being recited.
if this is in your home then any mantra of the Vastupurush can also be recited.

    Hi,
You have already recommended many books for learning Jyotish. What are some books you would recommend for learning Vastu?

Another question, in (say) Adityahrudayam, should we read “Raamaraama mahaabaaho” or “Raam-Raam mahaabaaho”, etc. ?

Also, can Adityahrudayam be used for building and channeling the aggressive energies of these times? After all it is described as ” Sarva shatru vinashanam” and “Jayavaham.”

      Hi there
i am not an expert in vastu shastra, u will have to ask someone else.

it is a stotra not a sukta so you can recite it as a ‘song’ with a raga as you wish.
personally i like the rendition by Vijay Prakash.

you can if you want to. it is the ‘Gita’ of the Ramayan, narrated by Maharishi Agastya to Shri Ram.

i prefer Saptashloki and for this specific time i recommend Saptashloki. it is the summary of the Devi Mahatmya.

one should not compare the power of one shlok/ stotra against the other. each has its own relevance.

Namaskar, For an average grihasta, our scriptures prescribe the panchmahayajna to prepare oneself for spiritual knowledge. If one is unable to have any children then one yajna shall remain incomplete. In such cases, how can one still ensure spiritual progress or at the very least no further spiritual downfall with possibility of having mukti in future births? Thanks

      Hi there
the 5 daily yajnya are – Veda Deva Pitru Bhuta Manushya
      so –
do your Gayatri or your chosen mantra daily
      do daily Kuldevata puja,
give daily water /tarpan to Pitrus
      give food/water to plants/ animals/ birds/insects daily
and always behave properly with the humans around you

that is it. the daily 5 mahayajnyas are actually very simple.

      regarding not having children –
if you do not have biological children then adopt a child. adoption is encouraged by our Dharma. adopt a small baby or a small child so that you can give him/her your sanskars from that very early age. i have seen so many positive stories with my clients who have adopted children.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/01/11/assisted-reproductive-technology-and-adoptions/

and if you do not wish to adopt, then teach.
give some time of your life to teach underprivileged children or volunteer at a orphanage. maybe a few hours a week or something. interact with children in some way and pass on your positive values to the next generation in one way or the other.

or you can support the marriage events of young men/women from underprivileged families, like community marriage events.

if you cannot do any of this, then you have to do pujas of ‘child’ forms ‘baala roop’ of the deities. eg Shri Baal-Krishna or Shri Baala Tripurasundari etc.

      choose one of these options.

not getting married or not having children is a painful fruit of your own past negative karmic actions, so go through the experience.
think that you are balancing out your past mistakes. do not get bitter or negative about it now.. learn your lesson in the positive sense.

I’m already undergoing the suffering of past bad karmic deeds in marital relationship. It ended abruptly with cheating and humiliation. I’m seeing chances of marital bliss of second marriage are also slim according to my chart. I’m finding it hard to accept fate is so cruel with me. I belong to a very conservative family where tradition and culture is of utmost importance, had a very sheltered upbringing still I’ve to go through these events in my life. I feel like I’ve inherited some curse as no one in my father’s side apart from my parents have good married life. Should I remain unmarried or try to improve my karmic situation?

      2. Tejaswini Avatar

        Hi there
do consult someone who can check your chart for the ‘curse’ combinations and also give exact the remedial pujas.

i think that there is some sort of a pitrudosh which is going through the generations.
so get your father to do a tripindi sharaddha, it is done in all major teerths eg kashi, badrinath, gaya, trambakeshwar etc.
find a good Brahmin. he will guide your father to do the tarpan of all your ancestors from Manu onwards till date. this should solve your problem.
after that if your parents can, do a Satyanarayan puja in the home.

and your father should daily give water tarpan and pindadaan as per schedule.

if your father is gone, then you can do it yourself.

a general recommendation is that everyone, man/woman, should do the complete tripindi sharaddha once every 5years or so. especially more so if one/both the parents have gone.

and second – do pujas of your kuldevata and gramdevata as per tradition and schedule. go there and go it.

        it should solve the issues.

on the personal level, you should do shri sukta mental recitation daily.
