I have written two summary posts here and here about long term global trends. A period of overt instability and open confrontations has started since the mega eclipse of 26^th Dec 2019 and this will culminate in a severe global tragedy in 2031. The destruction triggered by the intense eclipses in 2030-31 will gradually subside over 5yrs till 2035-36. Only after this, a period of reset will start which will give some level of stability.

At the current time, the energies of Mars and Ketu are burning through Libra. Ketu is at 0deg Libra and Mars is just a couple of degrees ahead of him. Soon Ketu will enter Virgo.

Libra is the sign of balance, partnerships, clear headed thinking, intelligence, thoughts, equitable dealings, law, legal bindings, money, etc. its energies are now disturbed by the presence of these two so close in it. This is leading to a breakdown of all balance, diplomacy, fairness, law etc. ‘Agreements’ have vanished into smoke.

Sun in Virgo is quite close to these two, ie all three fiery forces are less than 15deg apart at the moment. These three are feeding each other fiery energy. Sun is the entitled egoistic ruler who believes himself to be beyond the power of all rules etc. He is soon to be debilitated in Libra on 18^th Oct. In this one month of Sun in Libra, no amount of diplomacy will work and the disputes linked to self-entitlement will continue to escalate.

Mars is currently combust and the Sun has started evaporating him. I wrote a post on this here.All boundaries are being contested which is exactly what is happening. Nature too is blowing hot and cold, with earthquakes, bursting of glacial lakes etc. And I am observing that impatience and tempers are fueling arguments in the home and in profession.

Mars and Ketu are so closely conjunct in Libra, (exactly conjunct  on 4^th Oct 2023). Both are fiery planets. Mars is merciless in his advance. And Ketu, the burning smoke which dissipates is apathetic to everything. Ketu sees nothing, understands nothing just moves on, unstoppable and purely on instinct. He is apathetic to finer feelings, consequences and implications. Ordinarily this ‘Ketu haze’ would have remained disorganised, one cannot organise smoke! He is an astral force not material. But this time he has been given solidity and a route to enter the material by his close association with Mars and Sun. Violence on the land, the air and also on the electronic domain. Wars are being played out by missiles, handheld weapons and also in cyberspace.

Sun will be completely swallowed by Ketu on the Sarvapitri Amavasya, also called the Mahalaya, ‘the great dissolution’, 14^th Oct. The dark fortnight, Krishna paksh of the Bhadrapad month is the time when the gates between the Pitrulok and the Martyalok start opening. We have to offer energy (pindadaan and tarpan) to our departed ancestors in this fortnight. On the Amavasya of the Bhadrapad month the gates are fully completely open then immediately close as the Amavasya ends. We offer energy to all our departed ones on this day. A total solar eclipse on this day will release a very high chunk of energy. Energy overload on so many levels. And the continents who will witness this eclipse will start destabilising. Turmoil the North and South Americas will eventually spill over the rest of the world too. This eclipse is by Ketu so the events unfolding due to it is a payback for our collective karma.

And later on Kojagiri Purnima, 29^th Oct, it will be the Moon who will be eclipsed by Rahu in Aries. Sun will remain in Libra with Ketu and Mars. This full Moon in the Ashwin month is the nearest to the earth, ie he showers the max energy on us. On this one night we are not supposed to sleep but sit under the moon rays and do sadhana. Now with the eclipse energy added to this full Moon, absorbing it all will be difficult for most of us. This lunar eclipse will fall over the areas which had missed the solar eclipse, ie Africa, Asia (geographically Europe is a region within Asia) and Australia. This eclipse is by Rahu so the events linked to it are due to human actions linked to insatiable greed, non stop desires, overreach, unrealistic expectations and illusions.

For individual readings, check which houses Virgo and Libra fall in. These houses will receive huge amounts of energy in this coming time.

For national level readings, open the ‘birth’ chart of the nation you are interested in. Every nation has a date/time of ‘creation’, ie through some proclamation or treaty or freedom movement or adoption of the Constitution or some historic event where the people of that nation agree that this was the day their nation was ‘born’. Check the position of Virgo and Libra in this ‘national birth’ chart. Whichever house these two signs will fall will see turmoil. Eg if this Virgo and Libra are in the 9^th and 10^th then religion/ philosophy/ cultural leaders etc will initiate some action which will cause trouble for the elected governments and social structure of that nation.
