The 5 Tara-graha, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn get burnt out, combust when they get too close to the Sun. If they are combust in your birth chart then it is a life time energy.  And when they go combust in transit, and this energy affects all of us and this happens quite frequently. 

Now Mars will be going combust for an incredible 182 days, from 1^st Nov 2025 – to 2^nd May 2026. Mars will be within 17degrees of the Sun for 6 months. In this time, Mars will be exactly combust ie both Mars and Sun will be on the exact same degree on 6^th Jan 2026. Unexpected events will occur around this time. It is very unusual that Mars matches the speed of the Sun and remains around 17 deg of him for 6 months continuously. And Mars will be moving forwards throughout this time!

In terms of degrees, Mars is going combust from 3deg Scorpio and he will remain burnt out till he reaches 23deg Pisces. He will be combust as he travels over an incredible 140deg arc of the zodiac! This is an unthinkable event and we will have to go through these harsh and intense energies very soon. Such an intense conjunction of Sun and Mars fire has not taken place in the past 1000 years at least.

Combustion is a weird mix of self-entitlement and selfishness, so there will be several negatives for several of us. But this also charges the keywords of the combust planet with the genius and divine creativity of the Sun. So there will also be some positives for some of us.

Sun and Mars so close together, it is an extreme overdose of fire. So most of us will face issues connected to irritation, anger and rage. Attention spans will reduce, there will be lesser desire to adjust, people will not try to find common grounds. People will just want to act, often without thinking. Conflicts in relationships will increase. Everyone will want to just compete and argue for the sake of it. All of us will either become highly aggressive and assertive or timid and passive. There will be sudden bursts of anger followed by periods of lethargy and indecision.

People will more easily  engage in mindless destructive violence. There is a higher risk of fiery type of accidents, fires in public places are possible. Expect increased quarrels between brothers and friends. Crimes related to molestation will increase. Deviant sexual behaviour and sexual crimes will increase and unfortunately the victims will not be just women.

Young men of the fighting age group will create problems for the society as they will have an excess of fire in their minds/bodies. If you are in this age group, do find some productive way of using this energy.

Since it is Mars with the Sun, this energy will get linked to politics, governance, leaders, civil riots, invasions and war. Expect sudden outbreaks of violence, border issues and outright invasions. Another thing is that weapons may fail, ie not work as designed and this will bring unpredictability to these war events. There is a strong possibility of mass bloodshed. Elected governments will also face instability as their oppositions engage in unethical and anti-national activities. There will be some unexpected military coup event and I also expect a monarchy or dictatorship to dissolve in this time. And strangely there will also be a lack of real courage and bravery as traitors and backstabbers become more active. 

No emotion cannot continue on a high level indefinitely, so also expect an eventual loss of vitality, exhaustion, drop in immunity and weakness. On the health front, blood related issues will generally increase. In the language of Ayurved, Pitta will be unbalanced, so inflammation, rashes, burns, headaches, digestive issues, hormonal issues, liver issues, eye diseases etc are possible. This burnt Mars will also affect reproductive health and human fertility.

There will be a general disturbance in the weather as dryness increases, dust storms and unnatural winds are possible. Mars, Mangal graha is the son of the Earth, Pruthvi devi. So severe unexpected geological movements including earthquakes and volcanic events may occur. Mines and underground installations may see some accidents. Then winter agriculture may be affected to some extent. 

In trade, weapons will be more difficult to produce, and weapon trade will slightly fall off. Traded weapons may be faulty or purposely damaged, so trust in weapon trading will reduce. Nations will prefer to manufacture their own weapons and thus there will be an increase in the indigenous manufacture of weapons. Then Mars and Sun related items will not give profits. There will also be destruction of public property in this time. 

For Bharat, we are going through the Mars mahadasha, so all these effects will be strongly seen in the nation. The national government must be prepared and utilise the power consciously. The police, army, navy, airforce and civil defence must be trained, equipped and be ready to act. If the nation chooses to work with this energy we can move ahead aggressively in matters related to governance, military, offence and defence.

Do not expect much fairness or partnership or diplomacy in this time. All the agencies related to contracts, balance, arbitration, fairness etc will be sidelined. They must gauge the mood of the nation and fall in line with this aggressive energy else these agencies will be perceived to be anti-national! People who crib about ‘historical injustice’ etc type of things and try to whip up public sentiment will not be given sympathy in this time. The mood of the nation as a whole is going to be very aggressive.

Now the remedies. The remedies for the planets are only 2 – Mantra and Daana and these work faster if you understand the intention powering these actions. The graha are not something separate from you, they are a reflection of your own self. So always remember that when you ‘heal’ them you are actually healing yourself. 

Some of us, will be able to use this Sun + Mars combination in a disciplined manner. Sun gives authority and Mars gives action. I expect some new leaders / new technologies to emerge in this time. So try to convert aggression into courage and use the energy with purpose. All professions connected to leadership, defense, engineering, surgery, emergency services, – ie all the fields where courage and precision are essential can gain in this time. Channelise your aggression and move ahead with confidence. 

When Mars is combust, its fiery strength is damaged and turns destructive. So you have to try to redirect that force, to steady it, make it productive. You have to discipline yourself, focus your mind. Learn to control your temper, avoid anger and rage, be aware of emotional triggers. Learn to control your tongue, your speech. Combust Mars will make you impulsive, rash, you will want to act in haste. So learn to take a deep breath, count to 10 before acting. You can also support people who are controlled by Mars, soldiers, brothers, young men, people liked to emergency situations. Then most important is to follow a daily routine.
