I wrote a this post and this video on the major planetary trends in 2025 and several people have asked questions for the future of our nation Bharat /India. Thus this short post.
First – this calendar year 2025 is not the Vedic year. The current Vedic year Shri Krodhi will end on 29th March 2025. (posts on predictions here and here). I will post the detailed predictions for Shri Vishvavasu, which is from 30th March 2025 to 19th March 2026, soon.
Now – in the calendar year 2025 – The first half till June will see a lot of changes back to back. There are just too many transits, retrogrades etc in this time. For some of us, this turbulence will be unmanageable. And for some of us, it will bring some opportunities which may perhaps not be entirely legal or ethical. A lot will depend on the power of your birth chart and specifically the power of Saturn, Rahu, Jupiter and Ketu in your life.
On the global level – The entire world economy is breaking down and all because of the incredible greed of a handful of nations. These nations have systematically looted the other nations, other civilisations, other lands for hundreds of years. These first used invasions, then genocides, forced changes in population dynamics and then the colonial system of loot. We know all this from the news we see daily. At present this loot is through the highly unfair system of ‘exchange rates.’ This ‘exchange rate’ is the modern loot system and all the nations of the ‘global south’ ie Russia, China, India, all African nations, all South American nations are suffering under this massive drain of their wealth/resources.
On the astrological levels, Saturn enforces karma. You always have the choice of action but you do not have a choice in the karmic fruit, that is Saturn’s job. And in the past few years, his transits in his own sign Capricorn, his own sign and mooltrikon Aquarius and now in the most sensitive sign Pisces Saturn will ensure karmic payback. And Jivkarak Jupiter is not strong enough in 2025.
So now, the first half of 2025 will see several issues but the fundamental issue will be as always – money and resources. The global recession is on and it will continue. Several nations will go through financial collapses. These details may not be reported in conventional or social media. You will have to really search to get the real news in these ‘AI times’. And AI will also cause a lot of problems, confusion and misdirection in this time.

For Bharat, inflation will increase. The 2025 budget will not be able to do much. There may be some relief for the middle class but not enough to really help them. Internal instability, terrorist movement, influx of fake ‘refugees’ and civil unrest in the nation will see an increase. ‘Tool kit’ type of attempts for sabotage are possible. But the national and some state governments will take strict measures. Inflation will be high as there will be attacks of the financial type. But India will still manage, as we have our own internal resources. We produce food, raw materials, manufacturing etc, so our economy will somehow survive. Buy local as much as possible, we need to support our Indian businesses. Imports will be expensive, diesel and petrol prices will increase. I hope our nation invests in ethanol and in EV vehicles and fast. And builds more nuclear reactors to provide us with electricity as we need energy to function. In the second half of the year, expect some improvements in the manufacturing sector. I expect the nation to invest massively in defence, electronic goods, and especially chips. There will be a drastic change in the politics as the ‘old guard’, aged or unwell political leaders may pass away in this year. New leaders will emerge and especially at the state levels. Their new ideas will initially cause turmoil in the political arena. These new leaders will try to put behind certain false narratives which have plagued our nation for ages. Ultimately the national government will keep the nation together.
- Our neighbouring nations will continue their respective collapses. Both West Pakistan/current Pakistan and East Pakistan/current Bangladesh will see challenges – their territories will be disputed, finances will not support, there will be governance issues and internal civil issues will continue.
- China and India will continue their diplomatic dance. Neither can afford or even wants an open confrontation. There are bigger issues at stake here and both will show maturity.
- Bhutan, Shri Lanka, Nepal and Myanmar will be going through their own internal issues. They do not have serious issues with India so we too will maintain diplomatic relations with them.
The world has entered a turbulent phase which will continue till the mid 30s at least. I have written posts on these current times in the past (here and here). In these coming 10yrs, the international boundaries, national identities, social structures, population structures, financial systems, health systems etc will all change very drastically. At the individual levels, take care of your health, physical emotional and mental. It is important to organise your finances, budget and spend sensibly. The coming times are not peaceful.
Wherever you may live in this world, that land is your nation. Work for the survival of your nation. We exist because our nation exists.
