Global instability 2024-30, the role of Saturn

Last Updated on November 13, 2024 by Tejaswini

The current Vedic year, 2024 – 25 is the Shri Krodhi naam samvatsar and it is showing its angry face. The current global situation is one of War, throughout the world from the Americas, Asia, Africa etc. Every nation is suffering external aggression or internal civil unrest or at the very least, difficult situations in its governance.

At the micro level also, people are under stress. If you look around you, your family, friends, office colleagues, you will see most people are under stress. And somehow individuals do not seem to care about others or the collective. And Saturn in Aquarius sign/ Saturn in Shatataraka nakshatra does not approve of selfish behaviour.

For India, all of its neighbouring nations are in a state of unrest. Pakistan and Bangladesh are both failed nations. The minorities, ie Hindus and others, are being targeted in these nations. These minorities will soon have to take refuge in Bharat. And in the near future, both these lands will turn into hotbeds of violence. This violence will be exported out of these lands and have global effects.

As for the other nations around Bharat. Tibet is a part of China. When this land was absorbed into China, its monasteries and temples were destroyed. And these were the centres of Tantra. Ugra devata were invoked and worshipped in Tibet. The Devi Tara even now is one of the main goddesses of the Buddhist tantra. Mahacheena, as Tibet is known in Sanskrit, is the land of Tantra. Demolishing these monasteries, breaking these moortis etc has created a tremendous chunk of highly negative karma which will soon fructify. And its scale is so high that it will have world wide effects. The other neighbours, – Shri Lanka went through a severe crisis a couple of years ago and has not recovered. And Nepal, Myanmar and Afghanistan are also going through their own issues.

Bharat is comparatively stable at the moment, but soon several issues will begin. Both the north-east and north-west boundaries will see disturbances. The local state governments may not be able to handle these. We can only hope that the central government takes corrective action in time. If you read the newspapers carefully, you can see the seeds of these issues. The only consolation is that, the nation will manage in some way or the other. But for this to happen, all the genuine citizens of Bharat, all Indians, have to stick together. The next 10yrs at the very least, are going to be very highly turbulent.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

As soon as Jupiter goes retrograde from 9th October 2024, he will become constrained. His power to do good for the world will reduce. Even now Jupiter and Mars are conjunct in Taurus has temporarily reduced the beneficial nature of Jupiter. (Taurus is ascendant for Bharat.)

As Saturn goes forward in Nov 2024, he and Rahu will rapidly start getting closer. They will get within 15deg of each other from Jan 2025 onwards. Rahu is in Pisces. Virgo – Pisces is the most sensitive axis of the zodiac. Saturn also starts influencing Pisces from Dec 2024. And he will enter Pisces in March 2025. Saturn and Rahu influencing Pisces will bring all the issues which were bubbling under the surface out into the open. Most of these will be turbulent with no easy solutions. (Video – Simple remedies to balance your Saturn [ 4 easy options ])

Depending on the individual nation /personal horoscopes, these issues can range from health, to wealth, to treaties, to global finances. Medical issues which are a side effect of the COVID 19 may rear up. Nations will not honor the treaties and agreements made in the past. Financial mismanagement at the national levels, especially in the USA, will spill over and cause a global crisis, etc.

Saturn is linked to mass movements. Bangladesh is an example of Saturn removing the head of the nation by a unstoppable mass movement powered by uncontrollable emotion. And unfortunately for this nation, the new national leader is not going to be able to do much. (Bangladesh declared independence on 26 March 1971, but the declaration was made public on 27 March 1971 at 19:45 pm. Students of Jyotish should study the charts and the events unfolding there). Rahu is the infinite power of the desire of the mind. And Pisces is fluidity, infinite. Whatever a planet wants to do in the waters of Pisces, Pisces does not resist. Public emotions will be whipped up by a few puppet-masters and be used as a weapon in these coming times. What happened in Bangladesh will be attempted in other nations also. National boundaries can turn fluid. And Saturn, during his 2.5yr stay in Pisces will cause turbulence as intelligence, desires, public emotions, social structure, governance etc all get mixed up.

Then Saturn is debilitated in Aries. He briefly enters Aries in Jun – Oct 2027. And from Feb 2028 – Apr 2030, he remains continuously in Aries. He briefly goes to Taurus from Aug – Oct 2029. Saturn is the ruler of society, he controls democracy, governments, kings and political leaders. He decides how societies develop, are sustained and are destroyed with time. He is the solidity, the physical security of the land itself. He is the flow of money, services and products through the global markets. He is the money and the profits which help sustain human life and living on this earth. Saturn going debilitated will affect each one of us in some way or the other. During this time, some nations will go through humanitarian crises, some will struggle for survival and some will just manage to get through. On the whole, the map of the nations on this earth will be redrawn.

And then we have the most dramatic eclipse event in 25th Nov 2030, its impact will fade over 5yrs. This eclipse event will trigger karma for all of us living on the earth on a spectacular level. Of the 9 graha of Jyotish, 8 graha will take part in this eclipse. This is possibly be the greatest eclipse event of all time.

The time Of Saturn in Pisces and Aries is going to be one of the most turbulent times in history. There will be  unprecedented crises, one after the other. It will take at least a decade more to recover from these. The world/ nations /global systems will be unrecognisably rearranged during this time.

War is a part of human civilisation. Humans have always fought, but in localised systems, with relatively lower powered weapons, with localised impacts. But the current world is so highly interconnected and inter dependant that every war event now has global effects. This is one of the drawbacks of this world wide connection and interdependence. Weapons today are more varied, more dangerous and have global effects. The current age has weaponised even emotions and communications. And the current planetary movements are pointing towards a series of destructive events which span over a decade.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

Students of Jyotish should open their sample charts. Do check the futures for their sample people for these 7yrs which are coming up. Note the events which have happened in the past when Saturn was in Pisces. This happens every 30yrs or so. And Saturn and Rahu were together in Pisces in 1968. So you can study the global events and see how they caused fundamental changes back then. And come up with what predictions are expected now.

My recent posts and videos have been more on pujas and for doing karmakaand/ rituals with intention. This is because we all are going to need this energy. We do pujas to balance our emotions. To free our intelligence from the trap of emotions. To improve our comprehension and our decision making power. So that we can take the correct decision at the correct time.

Even if you do not believe in Jyotish/ Sanatan Dharma, do perform some action with an intention to utilise the energy around you. At the very least pray for the survival of your nation, wherever you live in the world. And genuine Indians must pray for our Bharat. The coming times are very turbulent and we must sustain.

Unrelated but I saw this video where there are 7 suns shown, I immediately thought of what you say about the blast of energy this time slot has. What do you think about this? when due to refraction 7 of them appear. What does it mean other than it being a wonder?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
there is a entire concept of omens /Shakun in vedic astrology. there are several books, which give you the meanings of the omens that you notice around you. several are in Hindi or Marathi but maybe you can find a book in English.

this news from Chengdu is most likely coz the person took the pic through a glass window. or there it was some atmospheric refraction event.
2011 saw a double sun event again in China.

i read this online – Sightings of horizontally aligned double images of the sun and moon are recorded in a book called “Light and Color in the Outdoors” (English edition: Springer 1993) by the famous Flemish astronomer Marcel Minnaert. it is the most complete reference on double suns.

but this reminded me of one omen described before the Mahabharat war began.
there are two stars in the Big Dipper, Alcor and Mizar.
they are described as Maharishi Vashishta and his wife Arundhati.
as per tradition the wife walks slightly behind the husband. and if there is danger, she hurries on ahead of him.
so the omen is poetically described as Arundhati/Alcor sped up and moved before Vasishtha/Mizar.
this is not astronomically possible. must have been a refraction event.
in any case this refraction event was described as a omen for tht terrible war.

    Ma’am,

In difficult situations ability of mind to cope up is severly affected and thinking becomes repetitive and clouded. This feeling of helpness is an illusion or reality. How to dissolve this karma so that such difficult situations are handled smoothly.
Should we increase intensity of daily poojas, mantra jaap or something else is required.

I have also observed that sometimes in difficult situations suddenly a new perspective is gained and the problem becomes manageable. How this happens?

    Thanks

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
the mind gets emotional and then your intelligence is lost.
the test is to monitor your breathing. if your breathing pattern changes your mind has gone all emotional.

so we train the mind to use the Soham mantra. ‘Soham’ should be recited with every conscious breath as much as you can, throughout the day.
this action first regulates the breath, thus regulates the emotional mind. does not let the emotions cloud the intelligence.
then it also gives the mind a support thought – ie Soham, so it does not run behind the emotionally colored thoughts.

the feeling of helplessness is an illusion.
your subconscious always knows the solution.
the trick is to control the consicous mind so that the subconcious mind can actually give you the solution.

this is your own subconscious mind giving you the new perspectives

My friend just had a baby, I will be going to see the baby, what is the correct prescribed procedure to bless the baby?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
this varies in different cultures/ traditions. and as per what you can afford. generally we take some gift for the new baby, clothes, toys etc.

if it is someone close to you then a small silver bowl/spoon is given to the baby.
or if it is your family, it is your baby niece/nephew then a small gold ornament can also be given.
and we give ashirwad / blessings.
      ayushmaan bhava
      arogyavan bhava
      jivet sharadam shatam
      yashasvi bhava
      etc.
or you can express the same happy wishes to the family in English.

for a very small baby, they will just show the baby’s face to the visitors, mostly it will be sleeping.
so you just give the gifts to the parents and say the blessing.

Your previous post ‘Counting on fingertips’ is closed for comments, so asking question in this thread –

The counting technique that you have described in that post
    a) Can that be used for counts lower than 108 e.g 27 (count 10 twice and the. Count 7) or would that cause energy imbalances?
    b) I am assuming we can use this technique with any mantra e.g. Gayatri mantra and not just Om, or Soham.

        Hi there
no one will tell you that it is the golden ratio. as far as i know, no one has written this online. i too very randomly realised this.
but over time as you do your mantra jaap with these finger mudras, you will see how the mantra expands.
there is loads on info on the fibonacci.

i also count the beats on my fingers when i have to learn music. this is a different way of counting. here we count 4 beats on one finger. and this is a different energy.

Thank you for this post and advice for all of us to do our pujas with intention.
Would you be able to write a post on the effects of the upcoming Saturn-Rahu conjunction based on where the Pisces -Virgo axis is located for different ascendants/ moon signs?
I assume people with Pisces/Virgo in Kendra sthans would be most severely impacted.

Also apart from asking for Intelligence deal with coming times, how should we pray to these Grahas or Devatas to mitigate the ill-effects of these transits?

    Thank you.

      Hi there
i will write separate posts on
      saturn in uttarabhadrapada
      saturn in pisces
      saturn with rahu
and each post will have a short paragraph for the impact for the various moon signs.

i also have to write a detailed post on Bharat if i get time.
(currently my office schedule is jam packed, am not getting much time to write or make videos.)

currently jupiter is in taurus. when he turns retrograde and esp from dec onwards, we might see a smallish war like situation.
and next year first quarter will be unstable as it is.
and then we are going to start with the Mars mahadasha. this will be a dicey period. but after that, i a expecting Rahu Mahadasha to give us gains.

i have only one request for my fellow Indians, we have to stick together. whatever govt is there – central/state-levels at present, it is the choice of the majority, everyone is bound to respect this, and these elected leaders must act decisively to protect the nation.

and whichever nation you belong to, work for its success and integrity. all nations today urgently need genuine patriots, only then will the world remain somewhat stable.

if you are from India, then study the horoscopes of the past /present PMs and relate these with the national chart. there is a reason why the current PM is capable of handling this responsibility at this critical period of time.
in fact, if you are a genuine student of Jyotish, you will be able to note the one trait of the all the successful PMs of Bharat.

but first i have to write a post on jupiter retrograde

The vishmottari Dasha of a country discussion was interesting. Many thanks to the person who asked this question. I compared 2 examples ,

    1. Modern China : founded in 1911 ( breaking free of monarchy). Technically the 120 year cycle ends in 2031, which again coincides with the world War predictions. May be china will undergo a transformation from its present structure ( political/ geographical )

    2. British India : 1819 was when East India company fought the last decisive war with marathas and emerged victorious to control most of India. 120 years from this period ends in 1939, again start of second world War ( tumultuous times resulting in formation of sovereign govt of India in 1947)

    Is this reasoning okay ?

      Hi there
      1. that is why i always write – do only that much which you can do daily, even 2 mins is fine.

decide on one activity, eg lighting a lamp. or giving Surya Arghya. or lighting an incense before the tulasi plan. or whatever you can do. tell your mind that this one activity is compulsory, rest everything is additional.
      stick to this one activity.
unless you are travelling or unwell or something. then you can do it in your mind, visualise the scene in your mind for 2 mins.

      2. in my frank opinion, ignore it. if it comes in your mind, just ignore it. ignore that thought for at least 21days. it will be a tough thing to begin with as the mind will try to continue its habit/addiction.
but imperceptibly it will fade from your mind. later you will feel that it was unreal like a dream.

      Hi there
someone had asked me this question earlier.
unfortunately i do not have the reference book.
it was one senior astrologer who showed me this from a old book he had. it was in hindi, that is all i remember. the technique is originally from some sanskrit book by Mihir acharya.
this was about 20yrs ago. back then there were no phones to take pics and all, and i do not remember the actual math.

the process is like this – you have to take a impression of the entire hand for both the hands.
then you have to count the vertical lines in the finger nodes. and there are some formulae. the number of lines on specific nodes tell you the tithi, year, day etc of your birth.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
everything that happens to you in this life is your own karma.
you chose this path, this test and you have to pass this now. and you have the resources right within you to pass this test.

charts with certain combinations of Rahu Ketu are more suceptible to these energy attacks. so if you have such a chart then you should also understand that this same combination gives you the ability to fight these attacks. but you have to take the effort, show your courage. if you get scared then you will fail.

eg a Dr will tell you to wash your hands to avoid falling ill. and an astrologer will tell you to cleanse your energy to avoid getting hurt on the energy levels.

this is why Sanantan Dharma is so difficult to follow. i think only 15% of the world population currently follows Dharma.
you have to take responsibility for what is happening to you and then act to resolve it. your deities and your Guru will help you. or a genuine Brahmin or Jyotishi etc can guide. but you have to ask and then act as per the guidance. Dharma provides the ultimate solution to life’s issues but the road can be tough if you do not take responsibilty and not act.

      and several more…

dharma will change as per the roles that the person takes on. eg as a person, as a husband, wife, daughter, son, mother, father, officer, subordinate, the more roles you take on the more you have to balance everything.
you have to do the best you can.
eg i am a mother, so i have to cook food for my son. i am also an officer so i have to do my job. i should know when i am supposed to cook food and when do my official job. if i have my life sorted out, i know what to do when and where then my dharma is clear in my mind.
i am my own judge, my own prisoner, my own prison and my own freedom. i have to decide for myself.

you can follow your own dharma properly only when you are not too emotionally involved. and allow your intelligence /buddhi to work. freely.

that is why we are supposed to hold on to the Mantra. mantra lead to manah sayyam. once the emotions are sorted out the intelligence can work freely. that is when you follow dharma perfectly.

and the test is if you can sleep well at night or does your mind feel regrets.
your own conscience will point out the route. the only condition is that you are able to listen to it and have the courage to follow its route..
for this to happen, emotional turbulence has to be reduced to the bare minimum. so again mantra are necessary.

read some of the posts i have written on sanatan dharma. and think for yourself.
      we all know the answers,
and i am not writing something new here.
(in fact if someone says that he is teaching something ‘new’ you should run away from this person.)
it is the same thing in the Vedant, same thing in the BG. even Shri Krishna says that he is not teaching anything new.. its all the same..
only thing which stops us from claiming that we know, is that we always go with the emotional mind and ignore the intellectual mind.

        Hi there
a simplistic example to understand the concept – eg a crime –
framing the charges is the Swadharma of the police, police cannot argue or deliver judgement.
arguing in the court is the swadharma of the lawyer, he cannot frame charges or deliver judgement
delivering the judgement is swadharma of the judge. a judge cannot frame charges or argue as that his paradharma..

Tejaswini ji, I have a doubt regarding Saturn Rahu as I came across your other article on Shapit dosha.
    1. My friend has Rahu in 9th aspecting exalted Saturn in ascendant in Libra. Rahu aspecting Saturn – will this qualify under Shapit dosha?
    2. My son having Jupiter (0.10 deg), Saturn (26 deg) and Ketu (28.28 deg) in his 2nd house Sagittarius aspecting Rahu (only Rahu in 8th house). Mars not involved in this and is in 7th. Is this mild Shapit or strong one ?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      1. its your friend’s chart, let him/her think about it. i do not comment on such questions.

      2. if this is your son’s chart then it would be better if you consult your regular astrologer. he can go through the entire chart and the D9 to come to proper conclusions.
      scorpio ascendant
saturn and ketu very close in the 2nd house.
generally both perform individually well in sagittarius but them being so close to each other is another energy.
saturn in the 2nd and also Ketu individually in the 2nd can cause turbulence in the family life. and both are together here.
saturn aspecting rahu in the 8th is another thing.

a lot will depend on the power of Mars and Moon in the chart.

i have written a lot on rahu ketu and saturn in my blog. but i would suggest showing the charts to someone near you.

and most importantly, teach your child to do some small daily puja. as a parent, it is your duty to ensure that he / she has a source of strength. best option is your Kuldevata. Devi Gayatri and her mantra is compulsory for all followers of Sanatan dharma. and Bhagwan Ganpati is the Vighnaharta.

    Hello,

I noticed that there were no articles on the Atmakaraka (the graha situated at the highest degree, regardless of rashi). Do you study the meaning of the Atmakaraka in your practice?

      Hi there
i do use Jaimini, what kind of a Jyotishi would i be if i didnt! my favourite tool is the sarvatobhadra.

i have written a few posts on Jaimini and a few chakras. but these concepts are not for beginner level students.

      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/08/21/start-learning-astrology-systematically/

i have seen students who do not know how to use the Lagna/Lagnesh and they want to talk about the Arudha lagna and the karaks.
study Jaimini only after you are confident with the D1, D9, Dasha, transit and ashtakvarga predictions. else you will confuse yourself.

if you have any questions on Jaimini i can try to answer in these comment boxes.

    Hi mam

As the upcoming times and current times are difficult, any specific Puja/kavach we can do for protection (esp. women) for ourselves and our loved ones.

      Hi there
the turbulence will not remain confined to the astral, it has already percolated into the physical.
mantra and kavach will reduce negativity, protect on the astral and give mental strength.

but physical challenges will have to be addressed on the physical levels.
eg if you fall ill you have to take medicine, doing mantra will add to the healing. but physical medicine is necessary.

i have written this in several posts/videos – learn self defence, teach your children some martial arts, take care of your health, save money, budget.. diversify your income sources..

Shri sukta is compulsory. and Gayatri too.
if you want to recite then the kavach of your kuldevata/ ishtadevata is best.
else there are several – Durga kavach, Ganesh kavach, Kalika kavach, Narasimha kavach..
