We have already entered a very fiery time period where the Sun will be evaporating one planet after the other, back to back. Combustion is where a planet gets apparently too near the Sun and is burnt out by his heat. Only the 5 Tara graha/ non-luminous planets, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn can be combust. 

So in the coming few months, we are going to face an overdose of fiery energy – 

• First Mars is combust for an unthinkable 183 days from 1^st Nov 2025 – 2^nd May 2026. (post here)
• In these 6 months, Mercury will also go combust 4 times, between – 11^th – 27^th Nov 2025, 2^nd Jan – 5^th Feb 2026, 1^st – 18^th Mar 2026 and 27^th Apr – 23^rd May 2026. He has already wrecking havoc in the ‘e-world’ as he is retrograde and combust currently 11^th – 27^th Nov 2025 (post here).
• And added to all this is the upcoming combustion of Venus.

In this time we have Jupiter retrograde (post here). Saturn is currently retrograde and he will go forward again from 28^th Nov 2025 (post here). Saturn and Rahu will finally separate on the nakshatra levels, this will finally end the cursed combination and several of us will see some relief.

Now Venus will be burnt out for a long 83 days from 26^th Nov 2025 to 17^th Feb 2026. He will go combust in Scorpio and will remain burnt out as he moves through 4 signs – Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius. In this time,

• Venus and Mars will be combust together, which is a very serious cause of concern. Both are linked to cycles of birth-death and birth-turmoil as shown by the combinations of the signs they own, Taurus/Libra and Aries/Scorpio. (read the last part of this post)
• And there will be very dangerous periods where Mercury, Venus and Mars will be combust all together. Specifically – 26^th – 27^th Nov 2025 and again in 2^nd Jan – 5^th Feb 2026 will be exceptionally ‘fiery’. In this time be alert, as self ego can dominate everything and cause long term issues. Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars all so close together is not a good energy.

Especially the Amavasya dates – 20 – 21 Dec 2025 with Sun Moon Venus Mars in Sagittarius can cause destabilisation of foundations in several ways. Extreme ‘religion’ fuelled insanity may be seen around this date. Then 19 – 20 Jan 2026 will see 5 planets together Sun Moon Mercury Venus Mars in Capricorn, this time can give shocks to the governments and the social structures. And then 17 – 18 Feb 2026 will see Rahu added to Sun Moon Mercury Venus Mars in Aquarius, so the solar eclipse on 17th Feb will have a huge potential to cause harm.

Back to Venus. He will be combust as he transits through the zodiac signs – Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius. As he moves combust through these signs, those of us who have these signs as the Birth Moon sign will see more intense effects in our lives. Also if you are in one of the following categories then too you will more intensely feel the energy of this combust Venus.

• If you are going through Vimshottari dasha connected to Venus, ie Venus mahadasha, or any sub-period of Venus.
• If you are Taurus or Libra ascendant rising then taking care of personal health and the issues in your immediate surroundings is necessary, minor illnesses are possible. 
• If you are a Taurus or Libra birth Moon then also you will see confusion in your life as your emotions, intuition and instinct all are influenced.
• If you have Venus combust in your birth chart then the effects may be more significant for you in this time frame.
• Note which houses Venus is transiting in your chart, expect turbulence from the keywords of this house.
• If Venus is a malefic planet for your ascendant sign (post here) then you may be able to make some significant gains in this time frame. 
• If your birth Moon is in Bharani, Poorvaphalguni or Poorvashada then also you should be alert for tiny worries throughout this time
• Or if you are born on a Friday/ Shukravar then also you should remain aware of what is going on on your life. (The vaar is calculated from Sunrise to Sunrise)

Venus goes combust when he is within 10 degrees to the Sun. The Sun becomes a complex Sun+Venus combine. And the Sun becomes in charge of the Venus keywords! He adds his specific properties of self ego, personal radiance, typical selfishness, a feel that he is above the rules, elitist nature, entitled behaviour etc to Venus’s keywords. So as Venus goes combust, all equitable relationships, legal issues, contracts, partnerships, marriage etc all one to one relationships including personal spiritual practices take on a selfish tone.

Shukracharya is one of the two divine gurus. He teaches us the correct value of things. And when he is afflicted by self-ego, we cannot judge the true value of the things around us. We become more selfish, more self centred, more miserly and less open, which can affect our partnerships, legal issues, finances and business ventures.

Depending on his position and his role in your life get ready for some financial issues. Recognition for creativity will reduce, some might not get paid enough for their work. Forgeries, cheating, corruption, immorality etc can increase. Decision making capacity will decrease. Some might find themselves tangled in issues which do not have a life-time or long-term value.

There may be more quarrels over small issues, cheating, separations, break ups or divorces. You might feel unvalued, rejected by your partner. In this time avoid losing self control and doing things which you will regret later. Short term flings are possible which will cause you long term stress. And worst is that addictions may start in this time.

Allergies of the skin are possible in this time, you may feel ugly or not like the way you look. But this is not the time for extensive cosmetic procedures as our sense of appreciation, aesthetics and beauty is also twisted.

Avoid giving advise to others, else you will be blamed when things go wrong later. So in this time it is advisable to be careful when signing any new contracts, finalising any new partnerships or starting a new job and especially financial investments should be made only after due diligence. Do not let your personal ambitions misguide your common sense.

Young women will be more in the news, positive or negative. Crimes connected to women can increase, where women are either as victims or as perpetrators of violence. If you are a young women then try to be more mindful of yourself, your surroundings and your behaviour towards others.

Shukra Asta is not auspicious for long term new activities like – getting married, or getting engaged, gruhapravesh, starting a new business etc. Or getting into new contracts, new jobs or deciding on new interior designing works or other creative/ legal/ financial works may feel stressful.

Then or the professionals, all those who depend on creative work might get into some difficulties. People connected to finance, stock markets, trade and partnerships and people connected to the legal world, lawyers, judges, judicial systems will feel the heat. So if you are such a professional, do remember that self ego can interfere in your work. But if you can covert this inner fire of limited ego into genuine confidence and genius then you may get some good gains in this time.

For the Republic of India, the ascendant sign is Taurus which is ruled by Venus. Thus Shukra asta is generally not favourable for the nation. There will be attempts to hurt the republic, to hurt the national image. We have to be careful of the collective west, especially USA and China as they may try to cause us long term harm. Especially the times where Mercury, Mars and Venus will be combust together and those typical Amavasya dates can trigger more issues. Our enemies will attempt to hurt – our economy, our communication networks , our image, our youth especially our women. We will be more susceptible to external and border issues and also internal civil issues in this time. There may also be increased danger to our armed forces and our secret operatives. I hope our forces are ready to nip any issues in before they turn into real problems. We have to pray to Bhagwan Shukra to control such incidents in time. And as always if the government and the citizens choose to, we can convert the power of Sun Mercury Venus Mars Moon and the Feb 2026 eclipse to our advantage.

Remedies as per BPHS and the standard books are as always are Mantra, Daana, your basic regular puja routine and if you can intelligently adapt your behaviour to the situations around you. 

• Mantra of the Sun, especially offering Surya Arghya is a good way of balancing the solar energy. Mantra of Venus on Fridays or pujas of the Devi on Fridays is also a good option to balance Venus. 
• Offering Daan of items linked to Venus on Fridays is also possible. You can also use the food, scents and colours connected to the planets for utilising their energies. 
• And do perform the daily pujas of your Kuldevata, this is the foundation which helps hold your life together.
