He is how you analyse things. He is also the gathering and sorting of all facts and figures and the ability to understand the relationships and connections between things. He rules trade, commerce, the stock markets. Also short-distance travel and all means of communication.

And as he goes retrograde and combust he will cause disruption in all these keywords. Your overall understanding may be affected. There may be confusion, leading to misunderstandings. Or you may take decisions which may cause you problems later. Your ability to communicate effectively and stay focused may also be affected. And you will also think selfishly and act in very self centred ways.
