Mercury retrograde in Cancer 18 Jul – 11 Aug

Mercury goes retrograde about 3 times in a year. In 2025, he was retrograde first in Pisces in Mar – Apr. Then he will be retrograde for the second time from 18 July to 11 August, this time in the Cancer. And later in Nov 2025 he will go retrograde in Scorpio. In this 2025, Mercury is retrograde in the watery signs. (Watch the Youtube Video link here)

Mercury is the planet of communication, logic, and analytical thinking. He governs how we get information, how we process and then use this information to take bold decisions. He governs your siblings, neighbours and teammates. He is also linked to short journeys and travel for work. And your income from trading, stocks and small businesses. He governs your practical skills, all the work you do with your hands.

So when Mercury reverses his apparent direction in transit, he affects all these aspects of everyone’s lives. You, your loved ones, your children, your boss and juniors everyone will be affected for these 3 weeks or so. Everyone will be required to review the Mercury keywords in their lives. Be alert for any legal papers or financial documents which you get into about 1-2 weeks before the retrograde. You may be required to make some changes in these during the retrograde. Or they may be finally settled only 1-2 week after the retrograde ends. So before Mercury goes retrograde, finish all your important work. Make all your big decisions do not leave anything pending. Be smart and careful so that the retrograde does not mess up your important projects.

And all of us will be influenced by the behaviour of the other people around us because Mercury controls communication. So do not let other’s behaviour affect your mental and emotional state. Then, generally expect everyone to suffer from brain fog. There will be confusion and misunderstandings. This is not a time to promise anything to others or to get into major commitments of the legal or financial sort. Re-read everything, especially your electronic and financial communications. Go slow, as you may miss important points or misunderstand. And keep track of your current projects and their progress, do not take things for granted, re-confirm everything.

A person adorned in traditional attire and jewelry, with blue face paint and a peacock feather, representing a cultural or religious figure.

On the global levels, during this time, communication, diplomacy, global finances, stocks, the tariff war, all will see sudden reverses and general unpredictability. Anything that has a schedule or deals with numbers will be affected by uncertainty. Diplomatic games will be on in full force. There will be posturing and open threats. Some nations will take calculated actions which will, most likely, be rolled back later. Depending on the charts of the individual nations, this energy will work positively or negatively for them.

For Bharat, I expect the judiciary to give out more and more controversial statements. All this is with time going to create a public demand from judicial reforms. Then the national government and the lower administration will be aggressive and there will be an intense urge to protect the homeland come what may.

On the individual levels for the birth Moon signs, this Mercury retrograde will have the worst impact on Gemini birth Moons. You must be extra vigilant in this time as there will be irritation, petty arguments, minor illnesses, some losses and overall mental stress.

Then the birth Moons signs – Cancer, Taurus, Aries, Pisces, Capricorn and Leo will also see some stress. Unplanned expenditure, random quarrels, adverse legal issues, general restlessness can make you unpleasant, so be prepared.

Then the Virgo birth Moons may see some physical illnesses as some lingering illness suddenly come up. But you may also get some opportunities to make money in this time. So judge your opportunities and challenges accordingly.

Then the birth Moon signs – Aquarius, Sagittarius and Libra will see some general irritation, but you will also get some opportunities. Expect some random increase in income, or you may get some legal win or some business project will give good profits. So keep your eyes open.

Remedies are as always Daan, Mantra. Do the mantra of Mercury or give away the items associated with him – green gram, green cotton cloth etc in a Navagraha temple. Do this on Wednesdays and the days he changes direction. Then if you are a student of Jyotish, you can intelligently change your behavioural for maximum positivity. Or you can wear the colors and perfumes connected to Mercury and eat the foods linked to him to enhance his power in your life.

On the positive side, you can use this Mercury retrograde to think, research, collect data, to plan your future moves. If you have some long pending projects which you had left off half way in the past, then do use Mercury’s energy to complete them now. Mercury retrograde in Cancer can improve your intuition so keep track of any dreams or any omens you may notice. Be flexible and adapt to the circumstances, this is real wisdom. If you are internally stable and patient, you can turn this time into something positive.

    Namaste Tejaswini ji,

Many thanks for this post🙏🏻 I got a notification about your YouTube video and came here to see your post. While I love all your videos, it is a special joy to read from your blog.

Cancer- Pisces are going through such tough times since last many years, it feels so unfair☹️ Karmas have to be faced, there is no option.

I liked that bit about intuition. I do pay attention to my dreams. But lately have found nothing interesting. Hope Mercury in Cancer changes that.

After my dad passed away few decades ago, he would come in my dreams and talk to me fairly often. (I have done his shraddh every year without fail) This helped me in coping with his loss. I am more attached to my mom. But she rarely comes in my dreams. And even in those few dreams she didn’t talk much. When she was alive she was very talkative. Perhaps she is happy being with her parents and siblings in Pitrulok and doesn’t need me.

    Much gratitude.

    So..Asuric faiths also atheistic?
Why vedic acharya Shukracharya teaches Atheistic system to his students..?

      Hi there
It’s better to not bring ‘asura’ or ‘sura’ words as synonyms for nastik and astik. You will confuse yourself.

anything against the Vedas is Nastik by definition. you may follow whatever life philosophy you want but not following the Ved, or insulting the Vedic is by defination Nastik.

this is a longish comment.. with a lot of background.

The main problem with today’s Hinduism, is that over millennia, all sorts of poison was injected into our Dharmic books. And we are neither emotionally nor mentally ready to detoxify our books. if we do not do this soon, we will also slowly drift away from the Vedas.

The Veds are the only texts which have come to us in their original form. here also several Vedic books are lost to us. But what we have with us are untampered. But we have to learn these only from genuine Atmajnyani Guru or at least from Genuine Brahmins or from Acharyas. not from random ‘modern scholars’. We are a Vedic Dharma. Our foundation is the Ved, specifically the 4 Ved Sanhita, and most strongly – the Rg Ved.

The 2 Itihas and all the Puranas, are injected with poisonous stories and wrong interpretations, which most of us sincerely follow.
Some eg – Ramayan ends with Shri Ram rajyabhishek. So the entire ‘Uttarakaanda’ is not Ramayan. there is no character named ‘Radha’ in the Mahabharat. One of the worst examples is the story of Shri Krishna challenging pujas of Indradev, holding up the Govardhana mountain and then Indradev falling at his feet. This is not mentioned in the Mahabharat. But still people believe it happened.
And there are so many examples which have now become a part of local folklore and faith. Regular people consider these poisonous additions to be true historical events which is not good.

And this problem is compounded by the local language translations which always deviate from the original books. Eg Tulsidas Ramayan in local language was necessary at one point of time, to help people understand the basic concept, but you cannot stick to it forever. Eventually you have to go beyond it and read the original Sanskrit by Maharishi Vedvyas! but most people dont want to.

So the fact has to be accepted that most people failed to follow the Vedic Dharma in the real sense in Bharat also. We also went through several nastik sampradayas. We also degraded as per the Yuga cycle and right now we are at the lowest point.
(But there are some seed families who will survive the incoming pralay and then restore the Vedic Dharma in the people in the incoming Satya yug.)

On the West from the Saraswati, the Eternal Vedic Dharma degraded into Zoroastrianism, then christianity, islam etc and things became even more horrible on that side.
The Zoroastrians split from the Vedic Dharma and worshiped Varun exclusively. But in the form of Agni! See how the confusion begins?

Then Buddha. If we go by the only one basic line he said, something like – “I cannot describe the Atma, but if you follow my route you will reach whatever I have reached”. we do not know what he reached, so no comments on that. but this statement is also somewhat true, technically the Atma can never be described in words, but to reach this level it requires several lives of work, to prepare the body the mind, the intellect. But he made a mess, trying to force twisted intellectual concepts into the minds of unprepared people. Right now Buddhists are caught in confused words like, Dhamma, Kamma, etc.

Then christians worship a ‘son of God’, which is fine. But they never progress beyond it. their religion does not give them the next step.
They are stuck in play school, with no hope of actual school, college or PhD. Plus they worship a very twisted image of their ‘son of God’. A man suffering in torture, twisted, and in pain. This is one of the most dangerous things possible as this has literally split their minds. You become what you focus on and they are given a very twisted image to focus on.

Then islam actually worships Amoorta Parameshwar, ie the Keval Advaita. their basic premise is that ‘God’ ie Parameshwar cannot be represented by a moorti. Which is true! But this is a PhD level concept. You cannot jump to this directly. You have to first go to playschool, ie Moorta Ishwar, do moorti-puja, karma-kand etc. so these people are all twisted, they have transgressed all Dharma boundaries, they are actually insane.

And per the original Vedas ‘asura’ is not ‘demons’.
The very simplistic – asura opposite sura – definition came in the degraded later times.
In the Vedas ‘asur’ is used in both positive and negative sense as per context. Even Varun is called the ‘Mahat Asura’ which later because ‘Ahura Mazda’ of the Persians. In the Vedas the Devatas are also referred to Asuras.
Positive meanings – not fixed at one place, spread all over, having control over breath, supreme ruler of pran, the possessor of wealth, the supreme ruler of the cosmic ‘water’.
Negative meanings – thrown out from the original place, born of evil.

Finally, you have to come to your own conclusions. for this you have to study under a Guru, also read for yourself, also talk to others, and let time go by so that you deeply understand what you are trying to understand.

Thank you so much for sharing!

Only today I was reading chapter in devi bhagwat where asur destroys all veda in order to take away powers from all gods.

Also when shows depict all characters as this stoic person when going through pain, like shri raam, harishchandra; even though they feel miserable they do what is right. This is the beauty which they take away by showing them almost emotionless.

I ask this with pure curiosity and I mean no disrespect just want to understand
but whenever I read any puran, I always read that swarg when taken away then puja’s etc are done. to maintain swarg certain seemingly bad activties are also done. Different from bhagwan vishnu his acts are again self less done for others.
but to maintain swarg things are done by hook or crook.

how to understand that, what am I missing

        Thank you!

        Regards

      2. Tejaswini Avatar

        Hi there
its a longish comment – some food for thought – read it and come to your own conclusions-

We follow Vedic Dharma. The Ved are the foundation of – Hinduism/ Arsha Dharma/ Sanatan Dharma/ astik darshan shastra.. ..

Every text of Hinduism – Itihas, Puran and anything written after that has to be tallied with the Vedic concepts – the Sanhita, Brahmana, Aranyakas and Upanishads. If they fail the Ved, if they are against the Ved in any way, discard that book.
This is the first rule of Dharma. You have to follow the Ved.
        Ved-ninda = Nastik sampraday / Adharma.

The Ved are in Vedic Sanskrit so are not poison injected. Vedic Sanskrit is different from Classical Sanskrit.
Currently we do not fully know Vedic Sanskrit nor the style of sukta composition and thus it is not possible for today’s humans to poison inject in these Vedic texts – Sanhita, Brahmana, Aranyakas and Upanishads..

We still speak Classical Sanskrit, ie as organised by Maharishi Panini.
The Itihas and the Purans are in classical Sanskrit, and all are injected with poisonous stories, which are the imaginations of the later sectarian ‘Sanskrit scholars’. These people knew classical Sanskrit so added their trash to the Itihas and Puran.
They tried to elevate the ‘god’ their sect followed by reducing the other Devatas. And also by ascribing the power/functions/names of the real Vedic Devata to these sect ‘gods’.
But unfortunately for them, these additions are so very easy to spot.
Eg – anything which demeans the Vedic Devata, – Varun, Devraj Indra, Agni, Vayu, Mitra/Surya, Ushas, Saraswati, Rudra, Marut, etc – is not a part of Vedic Dharma.
So when you read the purana keep this test in your mind.

Devi Bhagwat, is still mostly poison free.
It is the real ’Shrimat Bhagwat’. as as far as the purana are concerned only Devi can be called ‘Shri’. because she gives the Shri Vidya and the word ‘Shri’ means to ‘diffuse or radiate the light of the original source’ which suits only her.
Bhaagwat is actually derived from the Bhaga and that is actually the 6 pointed star in Shri vidya, the opposing yet together samhar + srushti krama.

Now analyse what is happening today.
8 Billion of us, of these about 7.9999 billion have lost the Vedas. Only few real genuine Brahmins practice the Vedas as they should be actually practiced, and very few families left.
(Atmajnyani Mahapurush know everything, but they are extremely rare.)

And look at the state of the world around us. see the degradation

Tretayug – Devi Sita kidnapped imprisoned insulted but not touched – Lanka destroyed

Dwaparyug – Devi Draupadi insulted, dragged by her hair, sari pulled – see the level of atrocity has increased – but punishment also increased – entire known world destroyed, only widows and small children left.

Now Kali yug – even more degradation – look at the state of women all over – esp muslim women, all women in muslim nations, in muslim dominated regions. even men! Also the atrocities on the christian women/children, which everyone knows but still kept in in the dark. horrifying atrocities on small children, girls, boys! Can u imagine the punishment that is waiting for us???
It will happen soon – 2029 – 2032 – is the expected timeline.

And this is because all of us have deviated from the Vedic Dharma. And we are not even aware of it!

We in Bharat are also not following Vedic Dharma as it should be. Just mindlessly repeating the puranic stories and turning our Devatas into cartoons. so we will also suffer/ are suffering.
Today we have no temple of any Vedic Devata in the real sense. neither do we their Yajnas. Our awareness of the real Devatas is very very low.
Eg – when we go to the sea shore how many of us do namaskar to Varun dev? Does it even register that we are standing in the physical presence of the most powerful Dev? or when you all come to the Himalaya for chardhaam yatra, does it register that the Himalaya himself is the greatest power?

The Avtars concept is from the Purans not the Ved.
Shri Krishna/ Shri Rama do not say that they are an Avtar of Vishnu. Nor do they claim to be the Parameshwar.
(Shri Krishna says that ‘Aham is the Supreme controller’ in the Gita. ‘Aham’ does not mean Shri Krishna personally. ‘Aham’ here indicates Tantra. also the Gita as we read it today is an expanded version which was added later. Gita is a condensation of the Upanishads, ie a Vedic text and must be understood as a such.)

so do not overthink the puranic stories. they are mostly stories for the lowest level of Hindus, to make them more familiar with the basic concepts. try to come to the itihas at least. and always read the orignal Sanskrit books. never translations.
if you do not understand Sanskrit then use a simple basic translation for reference but try to at least read the shloks.

        Hi there
BG is a summary of the Vedant and the Vedant are the Jnyankaand of the Ved
So you have to interpret the BG only in the parameters set by the Vedas.
our cousins on the west of Saraswati devolved into whatever they are now, we are seeing the downfall.
But we also devolved, just not to their levels.

Do not mix the story of Rishi Dadhichi in this. It is a Puranic story not Vedic.
The Vedic language is ‘Samadhista’, highly symbolic. I had mentioned somewhere that you can guess what the Vajra really means by looking at its shape. See if you can guess?

The story of Indradev dividing the Marutgan in the womb is also puranic.

you should make your intention clear but leave the decision to Her.

    Namaskar,
In many of your answers I have come across that you have emphasised a lot on an individual’s consciousness. This has led me to question what universal values mean on an individual level and what happens when there is a conflict between them? An average human being has a lot of vasanas and because of ignorance is bound to violate universal values (eg: non-violence, etc.) from time to time. If individual’s consciousness decides karma phal and not decided against universal values then i feel a bit confused as in such a case even a terrorist will get “good” phal because he has listened to his individual consciousness and killed “unfaithfuls”. If however, we are always going to be judged against some universal values (they are not conditional but in a context of course), then could you clarify what you mean by “your conscience”? What is the distinction?
    Thank you

      Hi there
At the end of the BG, Shri Krishna tells Arjun – 18- 63 – इति ते ज्ञानमाख्यातं गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं मया ।विमृश्यैतदशेषेण यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु – Thus I explained in detail the most secret knowledge. Think on it deeply and then do whatever you wish to do.

Shri Krishna has given several methods to achieve Realization of the Self, so many types of ‘yog’, all these methods, all these paths, in the BG.
Arjun was required to reflect on all these types of actions available to him and choose one which seems good to him. He has to exercise his free will. But Arjun had to choose among only these paths given in the BG.
He will choose as per his own inclinations, his mind’s desires, disinterests, etc. He has options but the choice is limited to what has been offered by Shri Krishna in the BG.

As a follower of Vedic Dharma, you have a choice, always.
But this choice is limited to the paths laid out in the Vedic Dharma. And they are actually infinite.
Someone may like to do pujas, some will do pilgrimages, mantra, Yajna, tantra, hatha yog, fasting, some will fight against Adharma actually give their most prized possession ie their life for Dharma. Vedic dharma gives an extraordinarily huge list of options. choose..

but here we are told again and again to choose our Guru, our Ideal very very carefully. If you make a mistake here, and do Adharmic acts, you will have to endure, there is no escape from your own karmic fruit.
in the current time, the best role model is Shri Krishna, until Shri Kalaki is born.

If you choose to act against Dharma you will get the painful karmic fruit.
And this ‘karma phal’ is not decided by you, it is decided by Conscious Time, the Ishwar. The Ishwar is the giver of the karmic fruits, karma-phal-daata.
You do not have any control whatsoever on the karmic fruits. But only on the choice of action. Exactly as said by Shri Krishna.

But the underlying concept is that you have to follow your Dharma/ do your Karma. If you miss this, you will get the negative karmic fruits with Time.

      Eg
If you are a Kshatriya, eg working in the military – as an active soldier, or a medical doctor in the army, or a scientist in the army research, or a government officer or an elected representative – your job is to protect the nation, govern, defend and also offence.
You have to do this job, it is necessary. So develop systems which do the job effectively.
The entire Mahabharat war was done in 18 days! they tried to avoid it, but when the time came, when there was no option, the killed their own teachers, uncles, grandfathers, nephews, brothers!
But while doing this job, if you take personal enjoyment in the pain of the opposing soldiers, give them painful death for your personal enjoyment, if you torture, mutilate the enemy soldiers to satisfy your personal ego, if you are cruel because it gives you perverted pleasure then you will face the negative karma.

the bloodiest war ever fought, the Mahabharat war.
There were rules, eg – war was fought from sunrise to sunset. After sunset, the alive warriors had to pick up the bodies of all the dead and give them Antyeshti. In death, there are no enemies/friends. The fire of cremation was burning continuously for these 18days. All the dead were given the Antim sanskar, their souls sent off from this martyalok to swargalok.
And the person who did not follow the rules of war – Ashwatthama, was given the most miserable punishment possible.

And then some more limits which derive from this basic limit – like – You cannot wilfully suppress someone else’s free will. ie human slavery is not permitted. You cannot commit atrocities – physical, pranic, emotional, intellectual – on other humans. Ie you cannot take advantage of someone’s emotions – like they are emotionally manipulating Hindus to convert to christanity by giving them false hopes of ‘miracles’. Or the ‘convert or die’ threat of the Muslims. All this is adharma. Obviously you cannot torture animals or hurt nature also. Etc.

Non-violence is not a ‘universal value’ nor a biological fact and certainly not a Vedic value.
All our Devatas are shown with multiple arms with weapons of every imaginable sort.
All or Devis and Devs are always shown fighting. even in the Puran. and both Itihas have wars.
And our Apex Devi – Devi Kali is the epitome of violence. Do read the Dhyan shloks of Devi Shmashan Kaali, you may not be able to sleep at night. and her husband is also equally/ more violent.

Vedic Dharma admires violence but when it is used for a purpose. But this is not the mindless violence of the Nastiks.
The reason for all this violence is – to protect the good people, to destroy the evil doers, to strongly and properly re-establish Dharma.
Violence is a fact of life, it cannot be suppressed, should not be suppressed. It has to be given a proper channel, that is Dharma.
Eg if you are prepared – then take up Sanyas, and fight the biggest fight. Do you have the courage to fight against your own Vasaanas? it is the most violent fight and it happens right inside your mind. That is why Hinduism is the most difficult Dharma. you ultimately fight your own limited self in order to Expand it and simultaneously make it Subtle..

And most Hindus today are hypocrites.
They claim to be Shri Krishna Bhakts but have never read the original Mahabharat. Or claim to be Shri Ram bhakts and have never read the original Ramayan.

Read these, Itihas in the original Sanskrit by the original Atmajnyani Maharishi who wrote the book.
Maharishi Vedvyas wrote the Mahabharat, he knew Shri Krishna and all the people from that history. He was related to them. Pandu, Dhritarashtra and Vidur were his nephews. No adaptation/ translation can surpass his work.
Maharishi Valmiki knew Shri Ram and all the people in that history, his Ramayan can never be surpassed by any translation/ adaptation.
Buy Gita press books, they have the original with side by side translations in the Indian language of your choice.

especially read what Shri Krishna says to his daughter-in-law Uttara when her child is still born. He describes his greatest achievements! the Avtar Shri Krishna, himself describing what he says are his greatest virtues! Open the Mahabharat and read his original words! the most powerful words ever said. personally i consider these more important than the BG itself.
These are the core values what all humans must try to bring in our lives. Hindus more so, if we consider Shri Krishna to be our adored Avtar.

conscience is your Antaratma. that voice in your head which tells you when you have done something right/wrong. everyone has this link with the Ishwar, which is continually judging you as per Vedic Dharma.
even if you do not follow Vedic Dharma consciously, your subconscious mind is always tuned to the Universal Intellect/ Ishwar…

Mam, there is news all around that AI will take away many many jobs and unemployment will rise.. What is the future of Artificial Intelligence mam? Will it evolve to dominate humans or get destroyed by 2030?

        Hi there
leaders are trying to prepare for the population crash.

the current population is about 8.2 Billion which actually may be somewhat lower given the current death numbers in the recent years. . birth rates, disease, and the 2029 – 32 time frame war and so many other things.. the world population will crash, that is certain.
and some of my predictions are so extreme that i do not prefer putting them in the public.
let 2032 or 2035 pass, then the surviving humans will deal with whatever remains ..

AI is a useful tool. but it has its own problems – it is being used to indoctrinate, to push opinions, drive narratives and it hallucinates at 5- 30% range which is absolutely unacceptable. it confidently gives wrong output, it cannot be used with 100% reliability so it ultimately fails.
using it requires that you have a higher level of intelligence than it has,
most of us do not know how to really use it.

personal opinion – using it will reduce intelligence / drive/ initiative /motivation in 90% people.
if your child is using chatgpt to do a school essay, when will he learn himself? he is just copying the chatgpt created text. he is becoming mentally lazy.
and with robotics, people will become physically lazy, they will lose these skills.
eg driving is a physical as well as a mental workout – but tomorrow when you have a self driven car you will lose this skill of driving. and in that free time you will check reels! most of us do not know what to do with our free time.

one of the reasons for the mahabharat war was to destroy the technology which was rampantly being used / misused.

        Namaste Tejaswini ji,

I am writing in response to your reply to Brinda ji. I read few months back that the Deep State is trying to reduce the human population. No doubt they will enable wars to achieve this objective. With their power and money they could do so much good in this world. But in their hunger for more power, they don’t want to! Makes me angry as to how few powerful individuals are trying to play with the lives of innocents. I mean people have no fear about incurring negative karma! But then this is kalyug☹️

I remember you mentioned in one of your replies to me that technology makes us intellectually lazy. This is so true! I remember the earlier decades when technology was absent but we lead such rich lives – rich in terms of human interaction/ social life and activities. We had time to do so many things. But mobile phones are addictive and mindless scrolling and social media leads to utter waste of time and health issues. The quality of relationships have also deteriorated.

Please do write about your predictions, even if they’re extreme – atleast for us in Bharat. It may be scary, but it will help us be prepared. I know you have been dropping hints many times…. Actually I am worried about Bharat – we have more enemies within than outside. If law and order deteriorates, nobody helps – not even the police. We have seen this in other countries.

Thank you for your posts and replies🙏🏻

deep state may or may not be trying to. but it is also a fact of biology that once a population crosses a certain threshold the population swings and reaches its lowest limit.
if you are a student of biology then these signs of self-regulation are evident from the early 1900s and have intensified in the 2000s.

and it does not matter if a ‘deep state’ operates or not. it too will be dismantled when its time is done.
eg today Elon Musk is an acknowledged leader in every way and his work is really quite path-breaking.
but can he or anyone alive today build a temple like the Kailas temple in Ellora? the Vedic people of that time, literally vanished/ evaporated the rock in such a way that the temple remained. and it is a Shivlingam that means that the temmple ‘was built over it’. it is in in Granite!
or look at any of the temples of Dakshin Bharat, moorti wearing lace type of stone jewellery, in granite! temples of impossible geometry. which cannot be built today.
and yet these people, their empires also crumbled with time.
Open the Mahabharat, 90% of those people were not born normally but through artificial reproductive tech. even now we do not have such tech. and yet they also diminished and later vanished.
all the puranic stories of Hiranyaksh, Hiranyakasipu, what were these people? they were the ‘deep state’ of that time. time changed and they were replaced by someone else. everyone will vanish and new ones will come. it is the rule of Time. no one can surpass it.

those who do this level of paap-karma will have to go to Timir-Andha levels of consciousness, ie put in ‘deep storage’ till the next reset/ Mahapralaya.

re AI – i have my misgivings.
the more we get into technology the more our minds will be distorted.

our Rishis had such perfectly developed Vijnyan because they lived in natural surroundings.
Nature is perfect. every leaf, every stone, every wave, every breeze is perfection. it is not random. the grass grows like that because of math. Natural areas perfectly follow Math/ Geometry which is enlivened with Chaitanya /Intelligence /Consciousness. eg Lightning strikes exactly like that because of Math+Chaitanya.
our Rishis absorbed this Geometry + Consciousness and became one with that, Moksh! They transcended this creation by becoming one with it and yet expanding throughout it.

but anything human is always imperfect, random, erratic, not mathematically sound, geometrically dissonant, chaotic, and it does not have that ‘Life’, that is why it disturbs the balance of the mind.
children are watching screens right from birth now, this has started since about 2010. and this will show its effect from about 2030 onwards when these children will be young adults ..

i have written a lot about the coming times, in several posts.
you can guess what is coming.

        Hi Mam,

I read that the sea waves, the cronch follow golden ratio in the way their geometry becomes when they happen. Even, the hair when they grow long and if we dont straighten them, they get curly in the end and their shape follows golden ratio and it is auspicious.

        i have one query.

if in coming future, the population is going to drop, then it means the requirement for real estate, all over the world, for the same will decrease.
so, if i have to rebalance investments, is it wise to invest/keep holding real estate with long term horizon, or better to shift to precious metals like gold/silver.

        thank you

I thought long about your answer and while I understand the first part, I don’t know how to test whether a particular action is driven by vasanas/Raga/dvesha or not. There is a subconscious mind to guide us but isn’t that coloured by our vasanas as well? Isn’t human mind clever enough to justify all our actions? Every action has both positive and negatives so how to decide rather than be overwhelmed by thinking? How to surrender all actions to ishwara?

Could you also clarify a bit about daan – how can one give daan in a manner that the entire family benefits not just person physically giving the money/ things?

      8. Tejaswini Avatar

        Hi there
Try to observe your mind as you do your actions. The emotions will tell you if this is powered by Ego or not.
If there is a subtle sense of ‘rightness’ then the action is the Dharmic option.
But to understand this you have to train your mind.
Do you mantra regularly. You will get your answers.

If i get time i write some more on the subconscious and conscious mind.

    1. Which diety to worship for Mercury. My son’s Mercury dasha is running. I thought it is Vishnu avatars. So used to take him to Krishna temples.

    2. I have gone through navamsha blogs. In one of them, you mentioned conjunction can not apply in navamsha (pardon me if I processed the info incorrectly as I am a beginner). I wanted to understand can we consider Neechbhanga yoga in navamsha. In my son’s chart Jupiter (In Aries, his first house) in parivartan with Mars in 9th house. Mars being lagna lord is debilitated in Navamsha by sitting in cancer along with Jupiter. So here, will the neechabhang yog helps to make lagna lord strong?

    1. Tejaswini Avatar

      Hi there
Bhagwan Vishnu in his original form is ideal for Mercury. And you can go to the navagraha temples on wednesday.

There are 3 ways of looking at it
      – the actual navamsha method – use CS Patel’s books – this is the real thing.
      – rashi tulya navamsha and navamsha tulya rashi both are used to some limited extent – here you can use the conjunction concept.
      yes, it will help.

but you have to understand one thing, – planets going to navamsha owned by their debilitation signs are not necessarily bad – eg scorpio moon in D9 can give significant occult/ progress in tantra.
so first read what that neech planet in D9 can give as per navamsha analysis.

a small child i know has all D9 planets neech. all of them! but the D1 has a superlative neech bhang raj yog. this child will either become a sanyasi and realise the Self or the greatest public leader in recent times.

if you want to protect your child, then
      1. do your kuldevata pujas – esp the pujas which are done when the child is born, and with each sanskar eg ear-piercing, yajnpavit, marriage etc. do not miss anything
      2. do your pitru tarpana regularly. if you have missed karma related to pitru, do a tripindi to make up for the past.
these two things solve 90% of problems
and as a third give him a life-time foundation of Dharma, make him do small daily things, eg light deepak, offer some flowers, do some mantra etc as per age.

      self study is very important.

that is why recommend reading BG – only one shlok / day.
the 1st chapter and till 2-10 give the background and he starts with 2-11
read one shlok, try to by heart it – try to pull it apart, see meaning of every word, noun declension, verb roots, noun roots, see how the words can be rearranged for better understanding.

and why BG? – because it is easily available and generally acceptable. and all of us are suffering from Arjun type of Vishaad in one way or the other.

eg once my Guru showed me how the Gayatri mantra words are rearranged as a sentence to make it more easily understandable..

it is the beauty of Devbhasha Sanskrit – one drop contains the whole ocean – it is the resonance of the Paramatma Himself.

Mam, in the post- Effectiveness of Signs, you’ve mentioned sagittarius, Leo and Gemini to be highly energetic with lots of action and events going on.

I am aquarius ascendant. In my chart, sagittarius sign has 3 planets: moon 27°,  mercury 28°  and sun 17°. My question is, should I consider influences of moon and mercury to be malefic (as they are chart specific malefics) or will moon, mercury give benefic and neutral results as per their nature ?
Saggitarius is already highly energetic, it has more number of planets in my chart, my moon and mercury has travelled more into this sign.

      2. Tejaswini Avatar

        Hi there
Moon will not give overly malefic results, but you have to be alert as he does own a dushamsthan.
Mercury owns 5th and 8th – so again use his energy, but be alert.

both perform well in Sagittarius so if your Jupiter is well placed then they will help you gain.

its the 11th house – all planets can potentially give good results here. so these will give you an initial shock therapy and then as you learn your lesson you will use their power in a more positive sense. then things will get better with age.

    Dear Tejaswini MAdam,

Thank you for all that you are doing for the larger humanity…We are indebted to you. I have one query…If our Sun or Moon is in Mula nakshatra, ruled by Nirriti or any Nakshatra ruled by Varun Devta, how do we cope up with this turbulent energy? My sun is closely conjunct with mercury at midpoint (astangat) and in Mula nakshatra and i have experienced all the manifestations of it mentioned in this blog. And much more. Far more traumatic. Related to speech, buddhi, sisters, father, public reputation, sense of worth – atma-awareness, wealth, money , speculations. …
There is something mysterious about Varun and Nirriti and not much information available anywhere. Please please guide us and advice on these two devtas MA’m.
    Gratitude,
    Hemangini

    1. Tejaswini Avatar

      Hi there
best and most effective remedy for the Sun is daily Surya arghya – recite the Surya arghya mantra mentally as you do it.
see if you can add, red kumkum, turmeric, kesar, akshata, Ganga water, red flowers, sandalwood powder, etc to the water, as per your capacity.

i will write on Varun devata, he is the most powerful and the oldest Vedic devata. his power literally has no limits.

Nirriti is also a Vedic devata, she is the force of dissolution, again has no limits on her power. you can do pujas to reduce her influence on your life. or you can use her power in a regulated way to destroy what you wish to destroy.

        Pranam mam,

If you have time, after writing about Varun Dev, can you also write on Nirriti (or recommend books in Hindi/Gujarati that I can read- still learning Sanskrit). I was also wondering if you could talk about the battle of 10 kings. I have read books/heard lectures after reading the shloks, trying to dissect them, but they make these powerful and very deep shloks puranic or mythological, which frustrates me. I have heard about it being the battle of different ideologies, and it makes a bit more sense, but I am curious to know what you think. I can’t seem to find what my inner self senses/accepts. And I like the different angles that you bring. Reading your blogs has sharpened my mind to systematically look at things from other points I did not before 🙂

That brings me to my next question: how do you go about finding answers and coming to conclusions from questions that you have? Do you ask Devi Maa/guru for guidance or conduct research? If so, how do you go about it? I might be able to tell if a person is genuine, but what about just writings- how do you determine the legitimacy?

Can you also recommend some Ayurvedic books that talk about sapt dhatu, regular pranic foods, what helps in meditation, vitamin deficiency, etc.

I think my browser being from the US has made it very difficult to find information from genuine sources with people who actually know what they are talking about.

      2. Tejaswini Avatar

        Hi there
She is also a vedic devata, responsible for destruction and dissolution.

Vedic Rks are all composed in symbolisms, ie Samadhist Bhasha. I do not think that they are historical events, else they would have been called Itihas and not Ved.
We have 2 Itihas which are specifically referred to as Itihas/ history.
And our Maharishis could have made another set of books to record other historical stories if they were real events/ Itihas, rather than mixing them in the Ved.

the battle of 10kings is not historical but symbolistic. It is a battle of the spiritual aspirant who wants to cross over the 10 jnyendriya/ karmendriya complex and move onwards towards the Self.

You cannot dissect the Rks on your own, you will need a proper Atmajnyani Guru. But he can be in the form of an internal spark or external person. And if you are supposed to analyse it, you will get the direction.

I read a lot of books, mainly in Sanskrit but with the translations to help. I use the dictionary a lot 🙂 And I think a lot, analyse. Plus do a lot of Dhyan, anushthans, Mantra puja, teerthyatras. i have a daily routine I stick to. I do a lot of karmakaand. People have given karmakaand a bad name, but without that you cannot enter jnyankaand. I was born in a family which is involved in a proper Vedic Sampraday for the past 5 generations. And I had the advantage of listening to proper pravachans from an Atmajnyani Guru since I was a baby. He left his physical body 24yrs ago, but whenever I ask for his guidance, I always get it.

If anyone does Ved ninda in any way whatsoever it is not acceptable.

As a follower of Advaita, I can see the glimmering of Jnyan in anything.
Eg even the books of the Nastik sampradays have some Jnyan hidden in that mud. and Jnyan is always pure, even if it is hidden under the mud. But these nastik people give priority to the mud and insult that Jnyan which is not acceptable. So it is Adharma.

Ved ninda in anyway whatsoever is simply not acceptable. denigrating dharma, the vedic devatas, vedic maharishis, the Vedanga, the shaastra which are rooted in the ved, etc is not Dharma.

Today I see Hindus are being misguided on the ‘power’ of the devatas. eg Shri Krishna is more powerful than Varun dev or something like that. this is trash. All the devatas are the same light of the same Parameshwar. It depends on your power which devta-ray you can worship.

Dr Lad has written several books on ayurvedic principles, plus simple recipes etc.

    Namaste,

How does one cope if Sri Suktam is also not working as the sure shot solution, does a weak 5th house also deprive one of the benefits of mantras?

Is a badly afflicted 7th house a manifestation of negative karma from past life? If an Hindu unmarried woman dies alone and has no male relatives to do last rites per Vedic guidelines, how to make sure that negative karma of being unmarried and dying alone is not carried to future births?

If time permits, you be able to write about each Nakshatra? Will be wonderful to know your insights into these.

    Thank you.

    1. Tejaswini Avatar

      Hi there
Shri sukta not working! if you are saying this then nothing from Dharma will work.
think on why it is not working.
ask Her why? if you are sincere you will get the answer in your dreams.

everything in your chart is your past life karmic fruit, happy or sad, you are facing the fruits of your own actions.
Hinduism means taking responsibility for ones own actions and working with what you have. and this is why it is a more difficult but ultimately more rewarding path to follow.
you have to be mature, responsible, ‘grow up’.

if no male relatives, then family Brahmin will take the responsibility, if no one at all then the Shmashanpal do it, or any male from the society can do it. there are some NGOs who are helping.

and no one is so alone.
you can still make connections with the people around you, get involved in social groups, NGOs, or in your colony.
sitting alone at home and feeling sorry for oneself is in a way giving up. and Hinduism does not allow that. you have to always take the efforts.

        Thank you for this.
Will hold on to Dharma and try this/ask her again. Faith is important, and more important not to let it waver when things are not falling into place. I think part of reason why things are not working is because my first house has Rahu with Jupiter, and 9th house has retrograde 12th house lord Saturn sitting in Scorpio, and currently in Saturn-Venus combination, so the Dharma trikon auspiciousness has gone down due to two malefics and Saturn dasha is a trying time as such.

But yes as a Hindu, I have to endure these bad combinations and also use my free will to overcome issues and train my mind.

Currently not living in India, and live in a small place without many Indians, so the social circle is missing. Will look for volunteer options.

Thank you for clarifying about last rites. I will intend to return to India or leave detailed instructions in a will. Don’t want the soul to carry forward negative karma because last rites were not done properly.

Thank you so much for this blog and the freedom to ask questions that couldn’t be asked anywhere else.

        Hi there
the last option is to do formally do all these mantras by yourself while you are alive. it is the last resort, but it can be done. you wll have to ask your family Brahmin.

Sanyasis are also the same, they formally ‘take the fire of their own Anteyshti’ into themselves when they take Sanyas.

Handling people with physhiachiatric disorders is tough. I have a unique dilemma. There is one such lady in my extended family, who is now almost a destitute.I have tried to help her a lot in the past, with job search etc to make her self independent, but with futile attempts. She has lost all her immediate family ( death and estrangement , because of her behaviour ).She has limited supply of funds may be to sustain the next 2 3 years max. She is not very old , less than 40. Her chart is pretty unique too ( 1/7 rahu ketu ) , rahu in pisces + karaka rashi( mars 7th aspect on moon, but no planets to support moon). There is extreme narcissistic tendency + extreme selfishness + hysteria + some neurological issues too + fluctuating personality. But very smart , manipulative and promiscuous at the same time.

The dilemma is a moral one whether to support her or not, when I know she’s quite capable to get a simple employment, provided she takes proper physhiatric counseling/ treatment. And leaving a woman alone to fend for herself is wrong at many levels, but the repercussions of getting involved to help out is very damaging to me and my family( as it was in the past). I still remotely assist her with whatever I can, but am not too keen on getting her back in my home. She literally spreads negativity everywhere she goes.

    1. This is a Dharmasankat. I have chosen to be 100 ft away and do minimal help ( only absolutely required ). What are your thoughts?
    2. There are many cases, where children are born autistic /spastic , and after the demise of their parents end up in similar situation. In today’s world there are many constraints to support such people. What do we do ?

      1. if you are responsible for this person then you have to help. if you are not responsible for her, you need not get involved.
      it is your decision.

      2. the parents have to make some arrangements for some responsible guardian or care home or something to take care of the person afterwards. obviously money will be a constraint.
i have seen this sort of issue in some families. most of them preferred to adopt a small baby and raise it properly as their own child and later this second child became the guardian of the specially abled child. it is a responsibility and there are no easy solutions.. but whatever works.
