Working in the Psychic realms

The psychic world is all about mind, intention and the energy that you drive your intention with. If you are able to visualise clearly and have the energy to power it with, you will be a success in any psychic activity you undertake.

Are rituals and ceremonies important? There are several books on ‘ceremonial magic’ (eg Goetic spirits). All rituals are designed to make your mind work in a specific direction. If you control your mind, you control everything. Ceremonial magic is a short-cut which diverts you from the main thing which is strengthening your mind. Eg in some rituals your mind is stilled by using essential oils, incense, etc. These are effective and do work. If you are just starting with this you should use the rituals. But do realise that these are tools. Use the tools if you want, but never get dependant on them.

Focus on your mind, train your mind and you wont need to use physical tools. Your mind is your most important tool. Invest time in Dhyan, this is all important as the mental strength you develop carries with you in your next lives too. The time spent on spiritual practice is an investment. If you invest in ceremonial magic and rituals instead and ignore your mind, you will sooner or later be in psychic trouble.

A single puff of marijuana will definitely calm the mind and increase focus (More than one puff will fry your brain and down your spiritual potential). But why remain dependant on this external factor? It is more advisable, safer and more long-term if you can achieve this state of mind without the chemical intake. Do your regular Dhyan, and within 6 months you will get immune to all substances which give a ‘high’. The mental stillness produced in Dhyan is more deep than anything that any substance can produce. Avoid chemicals, these damage eventually.

Is group activity better? Another thing I have seen is that some people prefer working in a group rather than alone. This, in my opinion, is very dangerous. When you do anything connected to the astral, you are required to be very alert all the time. It is your mind, intentions and your energy. You should be quite aware of your own strengths and weaknesses. You should not venture into more than you can handle. The astral is not a place to take risks in.

A group is just as strong as its weakest member. There are so many variables, so many minds involved. Why link up with others minds so intimately? You do not know what karmic baggage your other group members are under. You cannot be certain when their mind/ intention/ energy will crack under the strain. Why should you put yourself in this uncertainty? When you are in the psychic states, your deepest buried emotions, feelings, experiences come out to challenge you. Why put your safety in the hands of others? Spiritual ability is affected by several things, the worst being intake of alcohol and drugs, the tiniest bit will put the person out of balance. You do not know the deepest background of your group-members, so group-activity is a needless risk.

The best way is to learn from a proper teacher and then do your psychic stuff alone. You can take guidance from others but ultimately all this is between you and your mind.

Using the Ida and Pingala

Another thing is entrainment of the mind. If, in your group, one member has very good control over his mind/intention/energy, he will dominate everyone else. It is not always a conscious domination, it is just that a weaker mind ‘follows’ a stronger one automatically. (I have written a post on this) This is bad for the person with the weaker mind. He loses his individuality and sort of resembles the other like a shadow or something faded. If the person with the strongest mind is not malevolent, the drain on the others will be less. But if he is actively unscrupulous he can drain the others without any effort at all. Now this drain can work the other way round too, with the weakest member requesting energy on the astral levels and you giving it to him. Both these cases would be a type of subtle psychic attack.

Then during such group activity involving the astral, if one of the group members is not trust-worthy, he can insert suggestions into the minds of the others. This is a sort of a hypnotic suggestion which can germinate later and cause problems. This is, in short, a malevolent psychic attack. If you are used to participating in a group, take 21 days off, do not contact your group members. Cut the energy cords and relax. If you feel better and more energetic after this time period, it means that the group was draining your energy. Avoid any psychic activity or spiritual activity in groups. A very big No to any sort of common group meditations.

Anything that you do with your mind/ intention/ energy is strictly a personal process. No one else should even see you while you are performing it. Shut the door to your room while you do your Dhyan and other spiritual practices too.

Now telepathic links are different. If I want to get the attention of my brothers (We Indians address cousins also as ‘brothers’.), I simply think of him, call his name and visualise my heart/Anahat chakra amplifying this energy of thought. This draws his attention immediately. He receives my thought-call via his third eye chakra. We can then exchange thoughts, energy, healing etc.

It is your mind and your wish. You are in charge, remember this always. Whatever you call with your intention, you can dismiss it with your intention equally easily. If you have created it you are capable of destroying it. If by chance or ill-luck you have got yourself into a situation, you have the potential to get out of it too. Just clear your mind and focus.

It is important to have a source of faith which acts a source of energy for you. All Hindus/ followers of Sanatan Dharma, are required to recite the Gayatri Mantra for just this reason, it is a source of unlimited energy. Another useful mantra is the Nav-avarna mantra. (Btw Sanskrit Mantras are also tools but tools made from conscious intelligent energy). If you do Jaap of such a mantra, the energy remains available to you in all states. If you get stuck, you can literally throw the mantra’s energy at your opponent and escape. During your regular spiritual practice make it a point to make one mantra your own. Pull the energy of the mantra deep into yourself so that you can use it when ever you want. (A few nights ago there was a particularly nasty entity waiting at the gate of my house for me and wouldn’t leave. I got rid of it, then recited the entire Tantroka Ratri Sukta over myself. All this in my dream state. You can programme your mind and then sleep. You will do whatever you had intended in the dream state. This ability is very useful). One thing which happens with regular spiritual practice is that the awake state and the dream state or the active astral states become seamless. You retain complete awareness during all these states. The only time when you really rest and rejuvenate is when you are in the deep sleep/ sushupti state.

The astral realms and the energies of the psyche are different to what we normally experience in our physical life. Some people can access these easily while some are completely unaware of them. You will be drawn to these only if your karmic balance is linked to it. But it always helps to be aware of things. Your psychic energy is very precious, be very careful with it.

Recovering from psychic attacks, healing

Psychic attacks are quite routine, but the truly damaging ones are relatively rarer. Now that you know what they are and how to stop them, you will also need know to repair the damage caused by such attacks.

Generally you will come across minor damages, very rarely will you come across a really serious case. Small children are always susceptible so you might see small children suffering. They cannot express what is happening and this makes it even more dangerous. They have limited stores of energy and can be drained quite fast. In my previous post I had written about one of my clients. He had astral black arrows sticking in his back. He was suffering physical symptoms for about 2.5yrs, there was no medical reason diagnosed, and the psychic attack was about 5yrs old. The injury was thus quite deep into his astral self and had percolated deeply into his physical self.

If you are doing psychic healing on someone else you have to be very careful about protecting yourself from him first. Attempt this healing only if you are quite confident and have sufficient energy yourself.

Recovering from psychic attacks, healing

Step-wise, this is what you would be doing,

  1. First create your fiery circle shield and energy weapon as I have described in my earlier post. Once you are sure that you yourself are safely shielded continue as the following, in the same pose continue,
  2. Visualise a similar energy shield, circle of flames around your client. This is a protection for him.
  3. Then with your energy sword, visualise cutting off the energy cords, black arrows or anything creepy you see attached to your client’s body. (My client had arrows, hooks, cords and creepy tattoos formed on his astral self’ back.)
  4. Now when you cut off the black energy you will see the cut ends hanging. These are conscious energy designed to attack, drain energy. They can attach to anyone else, even you, or re-form. So seal the cut ends, cauterise them with the energy of your flaming sword.
  5. Strengthen the protective circle around him.
  6. Now once you are sure that the arrows and creepy stuff has gone, you will visualise healing energies from your deity. Golden-silvery dense energies, looking like ointment, dressing gauze and bandages. Use these energies to bind up the astral injuries, they will look like pearly bandages on the astral injury. (In the initial stages it helps to visualise familiar objects, later this is done with just thoughts/intentions.) After you do this it is possible that the energy of the client turns a beautiful clear green. This is a good sign it means that the healing has been successful.
  7. Power his protective circle so that the healing energy remains concentrated within the circle.
  8. Hold this visualisation for as long as you feel necessary.

In my experience it takes max 5 mins for the healing for the first time and a minute or so to refresh everything periodically.

You don’t need to have your client in front of you as you are basically visualising things with intention. But wherever he is ask him to sit down comfortably, relax, keep his own hands in the Namaskar position (It is actually a mudra called Anjali mudra or Atmanjali mudra). He should also think of his source of faith and pray for help and recovery.

Initially for a week, refresh the healing energies and protection circle twice a day. Later as the healing progresses you can do this once a day.

Throughout this exercise you have to keep your personal ego out. This is extremely important. You have to visualise your deity, source of faith, universe, reiki etc supplying the energy. Everything is by the Will of your source of faith. You are a puppet, just a channel and the deity is doing all this. If you bring your self-ego into the picture, this energy work will rebound on you. So do it on others only when you feel confident about this factor. This is very important.

Depending on the intensity of the injury the time for complete healing will differ. (Eg for my client it took 3 yrs for a complete recovery of the physical and the astral bodies.) Obviously you cannot keep on doing this for so long for a client. So best would be to teach him to do self-healing. You can teach him about the passive methods of protection. The active generic means. And the active specific ones eg this energy shield and sword visualization. And then this healing exercise as described above. You can teach him Reiki or magnified healing if you are a teacher for these modalities. You can teach him to make chi-balls, use crystals in healing or in making crystal grids. This can be done by everyone. Also teach him to increase pran/vital energy in various ways. I have written posts on food, water, oils, sunlight, marma points etc, which require behavioural and life-style changes. Finally introduce him to some spiritual practice so that he can strengthen his own energy. Once the client knows how to take care of himself, to use his own power of intentions, you are free from any obligation towards him.

Recovering from psychic attacks, healing

Now for healing your own self. The same step-wise process as above. And if you are not suffering specific psychic attacks, visualise a dense healing golden-silvery cocoon around you.

Then if you are like me, you will have interactions with the astral forces quite regularly. You will need to do a tiny bit more. The basic Passive and Active-generic, Active-specific and the Healing visualisations are necessary. These become routine and take just an instant of focus.

Now here is one more useful visualisation for you to use.

You will use the Shatkon, the six-pointed star for this exercise. The upward pointing triangle is Shiv and the downward pointing triangle ▽ is Shakti. Together they complete and create a whole called the Shatkon. Shiv represents the passive, potential energies, energies directed inwards, involution, pulling you towards the inner worlds. Shakti represents the active outward moving energies which are kinetic, work, evolution, pulling you towards the outer worlds. (This Shatkon is seen as a component of the yantra of the central Anahata chakra.)

Step-wise process.

  1. The process remains the same as the previous post where you have visualised and created a shield of flames and a fiery sword. Now onwards.
  2. Stretch out your right hand straight from the shoulder. Extend the forefinger and the middle finger together. Visualise golden-silvery energy like that of your energy sword now coming from your fingers. Or visualise your sword extending out from your fingers.
  3. Now first you will draw the upward-pointing triangle with your fingers. Your entire arm will move right to up to left to right again. The triangle will be as big as 3/4th of your body. Visualise the energy of the sky powering this triangle as you make it. The topmost point of the triangle is in the sky, connected to the sky drawing in its infinite energy. You have drawn the upward pointing triangle
  4. Then draw the down-ward pointing triangle Your entire arm will move from the right to down to the left and back to the starting point at the right. Visualise the energy of the earth powering this triangle. The downward tip of the triangle enters the earth and pulls in its infinite energy . This too will be about 3/4th your body’s size.
  5. Together these 2  triangles now make up the Shatkon  . It will be your body’s size now. The Shatkon looks pale-blue like the sky with a golden-silvery shimmer.
  6. Now you will walk through this Shatkon. Take a step forward, walk through and come out from the other side. This is the most effective aura cleansing method ever. It feels like you have been put into a washing machine as the energy of the Shatkon super-cleans you at every level.

Do this Shatkon deep cleansing every week or as often as you want. (I do this Shatkon cleansing everyday. It is quite fun, the aura becomes sparkly cool and the ‘woosh’ with which it gets clean is quite tickly!)

The energy of thought

If you have been reading my previous posts, I have always emphasised your Intention, your Will and your Thoughts. Whatever you keep thinking of you will become. Whatever you want to know about you will Experience. If you focus on a book you will learn it, if you concentrate on yourself, you will become Yourself. (But where is the real you!)

The energy of thought

There are several ancient and modern age Gurus, humans being publicised and pushed into the society. These marketeers (sorry, but no other way to describe them), aggressively require their disciples to keep photos/paintings of ‘Gurus’ (dead/alive) and pray to these photos. This is very damaging for real spiritual growth. If you have faith in some human Guru (I do!) keep his photograph as a reminder of his teachings and the philosophy you learnt from him. It is important to be grateful, gratitude is the one real feeling which starts you on your spiritual path. But your spiritual practice is your Dhyan. It is only when you concentrate at your third eye and breathe in a specific pattern with an associated mantra, will your mind and thoughts still. So that you can glimpse the Truth that you really are.

Thoughts have energy. And if you have learnt seeing auras and learnt to see sounds, now try seeing the energy of your thoughts. The object you think of has energy, Look and see if this energy is pleasing to you. If it is desirable continue thinking about it, if not then change your thoughts.

In every mantra/stotra in Sanskrit, the last line is something like this “—-. स्तोत्रं यः पठेच्छिवसंनिधौशिवलोकमवाप्नोति शिवेन सह मोदते” , ‘whoever reads this —- stotra with the intention of being with the Pure One, will ultimately reside in the Pure Truth and find Bliss in the Truth’. This is what is needed, you have to remind yourselves that every action you do, may this action lead you to the Ultimate experience of the Pure Truth Itself.

So what are you thinking of?

The seeds of karma are within your thoughts. Your thoughts mirror your sub-conscious expectations. And your expectations are the energies which require rebalancing. But while rebalancing energies, you often go through traumatic experiences. Would you rather avoid trauma or at least reduce its intensity? This is the basis of astrological remedies. You basically think yourself out of the trauma.

If you think deeply, You are the Ultimate compressed into this human body with karmic baggage in your hands. Experiencing the vast You and keeping aside this baggage would be a relief wouldn’t it?

What do you want to know about?

You cannot let your thoughts lead you. You have to consciously direct them. Wanting to learn more about essential spiritual practices, Dhyan, Kundalini, Devi, Parmeshwar is all an excellent indication that you want to know about Yourself. Want to know yourself! with all the intensity you can muster. Your thoughts invite energies. Control the energies that you are opening yourself to. Control your thoughts. There are several types of energies. Satvik energies pull you towards Your Light. Rajasic energies towards the objects of this manifested Universe. And tamasic energies are dull, out-of-sync, dangerous, odd and damage your energy vibrational states. Try to increase your Satvik energies.

The energy of thought

Such a long introduction, you might say! But I cannot stop stressing on the direction of thoughts. You manifest with your thoughts. Your thoughts are your power of creation, use them very carefully, these are double edged swords!

I have written about spirits in previous posts, Goetic spirits, and haunted houses. After I wrote about the haunted houses, a few negative beings decided to pay my house a visit. I must have felt it deeply just writing the post, so subconsciously opened my own house to them. However they were ‘house-guests’ for a very brief period as all it took was to impress on them very clearly that it was my house and they were not welcome! But till I could clear out the house all of us suffered for a couple of days. These were tamasic energies, dissonant.

I never advise communications with departed loved ones or any form of spirits. Never. For normal people it is not needed and often creates more problems than solutions. Thinking about them opens doorways, just recently my Dad was thinking of my Mom (he suddenly missed her!), and she was in the house. When one spirit enters, the door is left open for the others too. As she was not too interested in staying, she went as soon as Dad apologised to her for thinking about her. But then for the rest of the spirit-trash who had followed her, Dad had to throw them out himself, wasting his energy.

There are conscious energies everywhere. The beings from parallel dimensions are always around us. We call them Yaksha, Rakshasa, Vetal, Pishachya, Gandharva, Kinnar, Siddha, Dakini, Shakini, Naag etc. If you cannot see them or interact with them normally, there is a reason for it. Stay away from them.

Such malignant energies are most easily accessible in places where traumatic events have taken place in the past. I once visited Andamans when I was much younger and not very aware of things. I went to the ‘light and sound show’ which was played in the Central Jail there. If you are aware of Indian history, several of our freedom fighters were sentenced to jail here, tortured and killed by the Britishers. Now this place is of historical importance and open to tourists. And densely populated by negative energy and trapped spirits. I couldn’t sleep for the one week I stayed in Andamans. Dreams, visions, voices and seeing their astral selves was just too much. I feel sorry for them, their experiences have turned them mad. ‘Earthbound’ spirits of the departed are always around cemeteries where they bury bodies. These will be more than willing to interact and need very little encouragement to create problems in other’s lives. The only way out for them is if their descendants offer them tarpan at Brahmakapal in Badrinath, Uttarakhand.

There is a misconception that the spirits are benign, they are not. They are able to disguise themselves as per the target’s wishes. A child sees them as his favourite cartoon character. A man may see them as a young pretty woman. But they are not of this dimension, they are discordant energies, they look bad, they feel slimy, they are out of place in this world of ours. It is not that their vibrational states are ‘low or high’, it is just that they are dissonant. When they touch you or your aura you feel cold, shiver and your hair stand up. It puts your astral body in a state of shock. Some people often use them for manifesting small things, often to cause distress to other people. It is bad karma.

There is a class of beings like Gandharva, Kinnar, Nag, etc. They are not overtly malignant and depending on their mood can be of help. These are found in high places, clean mountains like Himalaya, near rivers of high energy like the Ganga. They ask for something in return, like sweets, milk, gold/silver etc, there is always a bargain and exchange of energy. If you know how to find them they are accessible.

The energy of thought

My experience with these beings has been mostly clearing up after them or sending them off. Sometimes the less problematic beings have offered bargains. But I will not actively call them for working with me. I, and even you, can do more with personal energy than they can ever offer. Even thinking about them and wishing that they come and work for you consumes significant energy. Then their bargains are always not what they seem to be. A  better use of creative energy would be for personal spiritual progress.

Manifesting things is using your own powers of creation. You have unlimited power, you just need to think it into being.

This post was in response to this comment I received in the Contact form, “Lovely blog! I discovered via the astrology group. Can you write something about angels and other high/low vibrational entities and earthbound souls?” I hope this post has been of some help.

Manifest your desires using your green thumb

There is another hot word doing the rounds, ‘manifestation’. In every website on energy and consciousness there is a section on how to manifest your desires in 10-steps! Well, here is one really easy step for you. Plant a seed! Literally..

Manifest your desires using your green thumb

First think about what type of desire you want to manifest, logically human desires can be of the following categories, no more than these.

  1. Finances
  2. Health
  3. Profession
  4. Relationships
  5. Spirituality

Then choose your seed. Actually! Choose a robust plant, which you can plant from a seed, suited to the place and season you are in! You will now charge this seed with your intention and plant it in a pot. Water it and care for it. Add intention. As it grows so will your desires manifest. This is a secret of the Universe!

In India, women have been doing this seed/ plant/ manifestation thingie for ages and ages. Women are traditionally home-makers, it is the most difficult thing to do, ‘make a home’. They are in-charge of maintaining the house, ensuring a balanced diet, balancing the household-accounts, maintaining relationships within the social hierarchy, raising children as responsible citizens, and then finding a daughter/son-in-law, and even more, that is a lot of work. So the Indian woman uses the energies of the Universe channelized through a Tulasi plant. She plants a Tulasi in her house. Tulsi is botanically Ocimum tenuiflorum and an indispensable plant in Indian spiritual traditions. The plant is charged with her energies and her request for help. She prays to the Tulasi, considers it as an aspect of Devi Laxmi, the Goddess of Prosperity, everyday. She intends prosperity, health and happiness and gets it too, for every member of her home. This is the magic of nature channelized through intention!

Manifest your desires using your green thumb

So now let’s do it. If you have chosen the desire and the seed whose growing energies will fuel your desires, this is how you go about it..

  1. Plan to plant your seed on the day which resonates with your desire.
    • Sunday – children, intelligence, creativity, higher education, gambling
    • Monday – mind, emotions, home, comforts, land, vehicles, property
    • Tuesday – physical body, health, vitality, competitions
    • Wednesday – communications, early education, money from trade
    • Thursday – expansion of all positive traits you desire
    • Friday – partnerships, business, relationships, love
    • Saturday – work and energy to perform sustained work, money from work
  2. Choose something that you like, tulasi, geranium, fuschia, oh, whatever feels good to you! You can also choose a fragrant plant resonating with that planet’s energy, refer this post. Get a plant which is easy to grow in your house. Get its one seed. Keep it on a green colored cloth on your altar/puja ghar, for some time.
  3. While it is on the altar, surround it with all the objects of power that you have. Maybe a rune? Or a mantra written on a paper? Or reiki? Or call on your favourite deity or the energies of the Universe.
  4. Cup your palms around the seed and tell it your desire. Feel it listening and absorbing your emotions. Feel it growing into a healthy plant bearing flowers/fruits. You are powering it with your intention so be true.
  5. When you feel satisfied, take this seed and plant it in a pot in your house. Intend it to grow and for your desires to manifest with its growth.
  6. Water it, tend to it regularly with the same intention in mind. Reinforce it.
  7. If the plant grows properly, your desire too will manifest.
  8. If it dies or fails to germinate, then re-think on what you were trying to materialise. Maybe it was not appropriate for you or hurtful for someone else.
  9. After it has grown and your desires also manifested, it will, as per its natural life cycle, flower, fruit and eventually die naturally. This is ok as your desires will have already been satisfied by this time.
  10. If you have planted a kitchen herb or fragrant plant, you have another advantage of being able to use it also as such.

This seeding-desire thingie may sound a bit funny, but it works. It has always worked for ages. The Tulasi is proof of the power of Intention coupled with Nature. The energy of a seed is limitless, it can power its own growth and also your intention. Trust and be patient. Nature will manifest your desires!

A tiny dose of ‘black’ magic

A lot of people want short-cuts in love and in life. So “Vashikaran specialist” and black magic astrologers are more popular these days because they promise that the one you love will be in your control, your boss will be in your control or maybe your neighbours’s wife will be in your control.  It is a cheap trick and the only reason I am penning this post is to make you aware that this is possible and this does happen. If this is happening to you, look out and take corrective action. Be safe from other’s evil intentions.

Lets start with the easiest and least harmful magic, to make others generally like you and support you. Take the following in a glass bowl, 100gm green elaichi/cardamon, 100gm laung/cloves, and 100gm misri/khadi sakhar/candy sugar. This mix is used as a mouth freshener in India and as a habit if someone offers this we almost unthinkingly accept it.

Now to make your “like me” spell. If you have learnt how to make a chi ball of energy make it and put your intention, “Whoever eats this likes me and supports me” in that ball of energy. Concentrate and intensify your this thought. When you feel the energy is strong enough, carefully place this chi ball in the bowl of the spices. By that I mean simply dip all your 10 fingers and palms in the material. Move your fingers in the spice mix for a few minutes reinforcing your intention so that every piece of spice and sugar has touched your fingers absorbing your intention. Thats it, store it in a glass jar with a tiny glass or porcelain spoon if you want. Do not let anyone else touch the stored stuff, serve it with the spoon. You can give this charged spice and sugar mix to your boss, colleagues, friends, family as a mouth freshener. Whoever eats this charged spice will like you.

If you have not yet learnt how to make a chi-ball, please try its quite easy. Or if you’d rather not, simply make your intention and run your fingers and play with the spices in the bowl for 10 minutes. Keep your thought strong.

You can charge the sugar and spice with other intentions too, for healing for energy but please be responsible, use only positive intentions. Your Conscience is watching you.

Charging food with intentions is the easiest way to work “magic”. Especially food which involves touching the stuff, maybe kneading dough, or shifting rice, or stirring tea or soup. You can similarly charge clothes with intention so that whoever wears them will be influenced. You can charge your nightclothes or bedsheets for a good night’s sleep too.

But back to the real reason for this post, the next time someone offers you a sugar and spice mouth freshener do be careful about accepting it.

A tiny dose of 'black' magic
