Pure soil and its use in pujas

The purest soil that you can get is the soil from the termitaria. Termites are very common in the forests of Sal, Shorea robusta or in  other tropical and temperate forests. In healthy forests, they build a huge number of termitaria, one at almost every 10 sq.m. I live about 1hr away from such forests so I always have a supply of its pure soil in my puja room. If you come across such termitaria, keep a small block of this soil in your house. When harvesting the soil, choose a block which seems to be abandoned by the termites and sincerely thank the termites for this gift. This soil is a living energy, auspicious, pure and is used for several pujas. It has the highest capacity to absorb mantra etc recited over it and has the highest ability to reflect their power back to you. It is a solid stable energy and the results of this puja will give similarly solid results which will act as a foundation for several auspicious things in life.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The most common use of this soil is in making a Parthiv Shivlingam for pujas. As the lingam is created using soil, Pruthvi, it is called Parthiv. Shiv pujas performed on such a lingam made of generate very high levels of power. Try to perform such a puja on every monthly Shivratri or at least the Mahashivratri night or on the Mondays of Shravan month. The best time to perform such pujas is the 4th prahar of the night.

This soil is also to create a moorti of the Naag on Naag Panchami day for pujas. Also use this soil to create a moorti of Hartalika Devi for her pujas on Bhadrapad Shukla Trutiya. Or to create a moorti of the Devi for the Mangala Gauri pujas on the Tuesdays of Shravan month. This soil is the ideal material to create Ganapati moortis for Bhadrapad Shukla Chaturthi. During Diwali, some people do pujas of Devi Laxmi moorti created out of soil.

In case you do any of these pujas do use the termitoria soil to make the moortis, you will feel the difference immediately. Use turmeric, vermillion, saffron and bhasma to add color to the moorti. Unfortunately we have switched to Plaster of Paris for making such moortis eg Ganapati Puja moortis are all made with this non-living chemical material. It has no power to absorb the mantra pujas being done on it and no ability to reflect it back to the devotees. Avoid using this material in your moortis for pujas. They are very beautiful are of little use in the energy sense.

After doing pujas this moorti or the lingam made of termitaria soil is put in flowing water, ie its actual Visarjan, is done. This ensures that the residual energy of the mantra is released into the water. Water is the repository, ie the collective memory of everything that gets deposited into it. So when such a Parthiv moorti is deposited into water, its auspiciousness, the power of the mantra recited on it and the pure intentions of the devotees all merge into the waters of that area, increasing the overall auspiciousness of that water and eventually the land. We eat food produced from this land and drink water from these water bodies. Returning the energy back to the soil and water in gratitude is inbuilt in our way of life.

And since we are on the subject of insects and the purity of their homes, one Guru once told me why we put out sugar for black ants. It is not only as a gesture of gratitude but wherever there are black ants, Sakshat Dharma is present in that place. Black ants are the embodiment of Dharma. You can test this. If you live in an area where people live according to Dharma you will find these small sized black ant-hills scattered around the place. And in localities where people have adopted Adharma as their way of life, there will be no black ant hills. So here is one more practice which you can adopt if you feel like it, putting out some sugar for black ants once in a while.

In fact the Naag panchami puja is supposed to be done on site, ie at such a black ant hill or the termitaria. You are supposed to go to the wild / forest areas to perform these mantra for the Naag.

There are no superstitions in Sanatan Dharma, just a heightened awareness of energy dynamics and the intentions powering us all. This is why this is called the Eternal Foundation and everyone must try to stick to it as much as possible.

Adopt the Gayatri mantra routine

The Gayatri mantra is an all-round remedy for all issues in life and everyone above 6yrs of age must recite this mantra. It should be a part of everyone’s daily routine.

Ideal would be to recite the Gayatri mantra mentally 108 times, 3 times a day, ie dawn, midday and dusk, at the three Sandhya times. Simple mental recitation takes 10mins, you can do it wherever you are. But for some reason, if you cannot do 108 repeats, at least recite it 1, 3, 27, 54 times. It is a mantra, but you can even think of it as a prayer to your internal divinity or as a way of invoking your inner light or consider the Devi Gayatri as your mother, or whatever makes sense to you, even a song! but do recite this. It is the only way you can protect your Sva-dharma, your internal foundation, the philosophy you live your life by.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The Yajnopavit Sanskar is a compulsory rite for Hindus where the person takes a life time Sankalp to perform the Gayatri puja three times a day for a life time. This indicates the essential role of the Gayatri mantra. (These days, very few boys from Brahmin families take up this intention.)

But everyone can do this small self-initiation for the Gayatri. Start on a Sunday. Wake up before sunrise and get ready. Face east, look at the rising Sun, see the power of the Gayatri reflected in his light. Offer him some water, vermillion, flowers etc, request help and support and start your practice with the Gayatri mantra. Put your entire faith/ Shraddha in it and continue this for a lifetime. Recite it yourself and encourage your family members and friends to do so. Everyone who thinks of themselves as a follower of the Sanatan Dharma must do this practice, now more than ever.
The Gayatri is the mother of the Ved, it is the Ved-mata, its the source of all mantra, all power is from it, all intelligence is born of the Gayatri mantra, it is pure consciousness.
I have written several posts on the Gayatri mantra like,

The Gayatri mantra

Gayatri Mantra, Devi Sarasvati, Raja-gun and Agni

(use the index page or the search bar for more).

(For women, no jaap, pujas etc for at least 5days of the monthly cycle as the body is undergoing controlled destruction post here)

The Gayatri mantra is the Adhar-stambh ie the pillar which supports in every way possible. For every other mantra to be effective the Gayatri mantra has to first give its support. eg if you do some Graha shanti pujas but are not doing Gayatri jaap in your life, the Shanti puja will not give full results. The Gayatri mantra is essential for everything. It is mentioned in the Rg Ved (3.62.10) and it’s Seer is Rishi Vishvamitra. Vishvamitra means, ‘Vishvasya Mitra iti Vishvamitra’. Thus Vishvamitra is the friend of the universe, the Sun of the underlying intelligent consciousness, the Illumination within everyone, the all pervading Consciousness. Thus the Supreme intelligence itself has Seen the Gayatri mantra. Thus the power of this mantra.

I am stressing on the Gayatri as a daily practice for a specific reason. Yesterday I thought of writing a post on the upcoming Rahu’s transit into Krutika nakshatra. I started analysing the transits of the other planets etc during this period and felt worried. I abandoned that post and decided to write this short one instead. Focus on the solution.

In the present context, the supreme importance of the Gayatri mantra is the Rg ved rk 3.53.12 which says this, ‘Vishvamitrasya rakshati brahmaedam bharatam janam’. In simple words, ‘This Highest Consciousness of Vishvamitra, ie the Gayatri mantra, continually protects the people of Bharat’. All people who follow the Sanatan Dharma, wherever they may reside on the earth are the ‘people of Bharat’.

Given the situations which might come in the future, it is imperative that everyone invokes the Gayatri mantra. If each one of us does our individual routine with the Gayatri mantra, the collective will also gain its protection.

The Gita starts with Dhrutarashtra

After reading my earlier post on the Bhagwat Gita, someone smugly pointed out that the first word of the Bhagwat Gita is ‘Dhrutarashtra’.

So the first verse starts with ‘Dharmakshetrae-Kurukshetrae’ and the Gita itself starts with ‘Dhrutarashtra’. So unless one understands what this Dhrutarashtra is, one cannot really understand the Gita.

The entire Gita is technically an answer to a question posed by Dhrutarashtra to Sanjay in the first verse. The Gita is narrated by Sanjay to Dhrutarashtra. As the Gita is itself highly esoteric, the question, the questioner and the answer-er all are equally cryptic too.

In brief, the story-allegory of the Mahabharat goes like this. This Dhrutarashtra is the blind king of a kingdom named Hastinapur. He has 100 sons called the Kaurav-s. He has a brother named Pandu, whose sons are called Pandav-s. Pandu was king but had abdicated and gone to the forest for spiritual practice. Now, a war is being fought between the grown-up Kaurav and Pandav princes. The Bhagwat Gita is recited by Krishna to Arjun-Pandav on the battleground before the war starts. After listening to this Gita, Arjun is enthused and with all his doubts resolved, gets ready for the war.

Why Divisional Charts?

Dhrutarashtra is blind, Sanjay is his guide. Dhrutarashtra asks a question, the first verse of the Gita. Sanjay replies with Krishna’s Gita as a narration within a narration layout. This layout is intentional and has a very deep meaning. There are two levels of understanding here.

The Bhagwat Gita starts with these words. Dhrutarshtra’s question.

Dhrutarashtra Uvacha,

‘Dharmakshetre Kurukshetre Samaveta Yuyutsavah, Mamakah Pandavashchaiva Kimakurvata Sanjay.’

So here is the real meaning of the first word of the Bhagwat Gita, ‘Dhrutarashtra’.

Dhruta rashtram yaena sah Dhrutarashtrah, this is the sandhi-vicched, the splitting of the compound word, Dhrutarashtra. The Sanskrit word Dhrutarashtra literally is the one afflicted by large scale calamity. The enjoyer of a kingdom. The one who is linked to subjects. Also the owner of a dominion.

  • Dhruta means – holder, enjoyer, linked to, owner of etc
  • Rashtra means – affliction on a mass scale, calamity on a large scale, kingdom, subjects, dominion, etc.

Basically Dhrutarashtra is another name for your mind/manas. He is the father of the 100 Kaurav princes. The mind generates 100 basic types of tendencies. (Refer to this post on tattva-s. I have drawn a table in this post, reproduced below.) The 10 products of the Ahamkar+Satva and the 10 products of Ahamkar+Tama multiplied together give the 100 tendencies of the mind. The mind has no power to get things or do things, it must work on the gross level through the 5 organs of senses and the 5 organs of action (10 tattva-s). On the subtle level it works through the 5-bhoot and the 5-tanmatra (10 tattva-s).

Screenshot 2019-07-07 at 11.26.22 AM

Thus the mind is considered to be handicapped, specifically it is blind, it acts without ‘seeing’ the real thing. The mind desires the kingdom ie the body, its actions and desires. Dhrutarashtra is the king of the Kuru-s. Kuru is the ‘action to be performed’. The mind rules over the actions and is always swayed by objects external to itself. It is dependant on the sense and action organs in every way. It desires subjects and is insatiable. It wants to hold on to its dominion in a tight grip. It is very strong. It desires to possess the body and to enjoy vishay-objects of desires. The mind is deep down aware that there is more but it cannot bring itself to accept it. It is swept away in desires, its 100 sons.

In the story, the Gita is set as a dialogue between Dhrutarashtra and Sanjay. The waking state of the Sadhak/ aspirant is called Dhrutarashtra while the spiritual insight achieved during Sadhana/ spiritual practice is called Sanjay. This ‘Sanjay’ is a Sanskrit word again. It literally means Samyak Jay, all-conquering, triumphant, complete victory. The all-pervading complete Sun, accurate truth, white brilliant lightning and the mind who knows its exact self-reality. The perfection of eternal union is Sanjay.

Sanjay is the one who knows himself, the realised soul, the Guru. The enlightened Guru tells the blind mind to practice the Yog-shastra Gita.

During your spiritual practice, there will be so many things, questions, blockages, setbacks, progress and ultimately victory. The mind has several doubts which are systematically addressed by the Guru. All this experience of the ‘Gita’ is the influence of the Guru on the Manas-mind. The internal Guru guides the mind during the spiritual process. This is the real reason why the Gita is placed as a story within a story. Sanjay is the guide to the blind king, Sanjay ’sees’, ie he is a seer, he is the one who knows the absolute reality.

Now Krishna means the deepest consciousness which is present at your Ajnya chakra and a prelude to whatever is beyond it. Krishna is the final apex point of the Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra section of your energy body. He is the charioteer, the sarathi. He leads the way up the Sushumna and Pandav-Arjun follows him.

Now I will need to describe ‘Arjun’ too. Arjun is the son of Pandu. Pandu means the Nirmal-Buddhi. There are several sub-divisions of intelligence-Buddhi, Pandu means the Nirmal-clear conscience, from whom all attachments have departed. Kunti is Arjun’s mother, the word ‘Kunti’ means Nivrutti, emancipation, involution, rejection of illusion/Maya. He was born by the blessings of the deity Indra, ‘Indra’ means the individual soul. Arjun in Sanskrit means the brilliance of lightning. He is the Tej mahabhoot. The one not free from bondage, still bound by the karmas and under the influence of Raja-Gun. The stage of the aspirant from the Muladhar to the Manipur chakra is ‘Arjun’.

“The Gita is narrated by Krishna to Arjun on the battleground of the energy body named the Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra.” I hope you have opened your mind to the new meaning and the import of this statement has deepened for you. (There are layers and layers of meanings. It is the magic of Sanskrit, Devbhasha Samskrutam.)

All the gods of Sanatan Dharma and you yourself are rays of light from the Source. The only difference is in the level of awareness. You follow the ray of light back to the source. Every deity, Ganapati, Shiv, Vishnu, Devi etc are conscious intelligence, you can request their help on your way. These are defined, with attributes (Sa-gun). And each one of these deities are shown to be meditating. Ever wonder what they are meditating on? What could be their true nature? This is the deepest experience.

The Gita starts with Dhrutarashtra

When I was a small child I understood Krishna to be something that my baby brothers were dressed up as once a year. I thought that Krishna was a cute kid always getting into mischief. Then I read the Mahabharat and I realised that Krishna systematically organised the biggest war in history, 18 akshohini अक्षौहिणी army units destroyed, entire nations wiped out. (A अक्षौहिणी is an army unit of 21,870 elephants, 21,870 chariots, 65,610 horse and 1.09,350 foot soldiers. 18 times these numbers were destroyed)

When I started doing my Sadhana in earnest, I realised that Krishna is the ‘undefinable darkness’ seen at the Ajnya chakra, he is the route I walk on, the guide I follow. As I progress, the subtler aspects of Krishna will again change and change till I reach Myself. At this point, me, the route, the guide will all merge back into the source, Myself. At this point there will be no more options as I will have finally realised the Nirvikalp Advaita. The non-dual goal of the aspirant.

So always think, experience, change, there is so much more, expand your mind, your ideas. Do not hold to one idea or concept rigidly. Allow yourself to evolve, allow your mind to expand. The defining quality of the spiritual aspirant is said to be ‘vivek’. This means that you have to be able to discriminate between the real and the material, but to be able to distinguish these, you will need to know their actual natures first. There is a concept from the Rudra Chamaka य॒ज्ञो य॒ज्ञेन॑ कल्पताम् yadno yadnena kalpantam. It means, ‘let evolution itself evolve’. This is a very deep concept which means that there is no stagnation, things are always evolving always. Even the very act of evolution is ever-evolving. (These concepts are all discarded when you reach the Ajnya chakra in your personal evolution. Till then you should assiduously use them as crutches and support on your way.)

Your body is composed of the tattva-s derived from Prakruti. You are the individual soul, who believes itself to be separate from the singular Parabrahma. This belief is incorrect and the entire goal of spiritual practice is to remove this erroneous belief and recognise oneself as the Para-brahma, the beyond Para. This state is called Moksh. Freedom from false notions, freedom from karma, freedom from ignorance.

The Bhagwat Gita is a detailed manual. Most of us have a copy of this manual in our houses. If you are given a step-by-step manual for building a nuclear war-head what would you do? You are required to build this war-head, there is no option on this, do it now or a few lives later, that is the only choice available. You cannot keep your manual shut in your puja-ghar. Open it, read it, re-read it, discuss, try to absorb its intent, understand it. And most importantly practice it, let your mind evolve. Your Dhrutarashtra has asked the question, now listen to your Sanjay. Take your kundalini to the very top, your Arjun has to follow your Krishna. Use your manual and experience your Sadyo-Mukti.

Vastu your home, the simplest and prettiest remedies

(I now realise that I will need to write about Nara and Narayan too now, will do so in my next post. Edit: wrote it! here)

(The sequence of studying the Bhagwat Gita is this – first read just the Sanskrit shloks, then read the Pranav Gita. Then start your study of the Vedant/Upanishads and then come to the Shankarbhashya. This is written by Adi Shankaracharya, he expounds on the true essence of the Gita as the pure distillation of the Vedant is explained)

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion, Part 3

What nourishes our souls may not enrich our material lives and vice versa. This is most vividly brought out in this Gemini-Sagittarius axis. (This is the third post in this series continued from here and here.)

Gemini is hemmed between the MoonCancer (2nd counted from) who takes him along a path of emotional treasures and materially happy times with his family, friends, food, drink and dance. And Venus/ Taurus (12th counted from) makes him realise the inherent loss in all these things of the senses and treasures. This is an exhausting position to be in. Things can seem to give pleasures, but suddenly they turn exactly opposite, speech turns to silence and power to impotence. The wisdom of Sagittarius is required to make sense of this reversals and duality.

Gemini is a sign embodying duality. Too much of a choice can ultimately lead to stagnation as one keeps on flitting between the options and not following one path to its culmination. A Gemini dominated personality can think of being strongly spiritual or strongly material but unless he has guidance and support, this fickle Mercury does not really reach there. He can be artistic, courageous, sweet, stern , diplomatic but that doesn’t really get him anywhere unless Sagittarius is there to be his mirror and fill in his gaps.

At the extreme, Gemini can give deep rooted psychological problems and a dissatisfaction with the personality and the environment. But he can be guided to act and to reach his potential in the spiritual or material, he is receptive. Jupiter is required here to widen Mercury’s narrow vision and grant him the strength and patience to wait for his choice and action to fructify. As always blessings of seniors, elders and teachers often are the vital link between action and success.

Sagittarius is hope, and shows Gemini the goal that should be his. He provides the wisdom in making the choice.

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion, Part 3

Sagittarius is where a person develops ‘spirituality’, you truly understand what this journey is all about. But this road first begins when you use your mind to create options, evaluate them, choose and act with intention. You create karma in Gemini. Sagittarius then is where you develop the widest perspective of the purpose of life, a complete understanding of the foundations your life is based on. However these persons do not receive emotional support from the family and near ones, the comforts of material life are denied to them.

It can be quite burdensome, but his favoured partner (7th from), Mercury/Gemini supports. The  Archer may marry or remain single, but in reality his students/teachers are his real partners. Learning and teaching. The experience and the one who experiences. one cannot exist without the other. As he guides them, he also learns to guide his lower nature (centaur), while developing his spiritual potential. It is a constant struggle. As a teacher, he also learns valuable lessons, as he sacrifices his personality for his students, as he moulds their minds and opens vistas for them, he realises that knowledge when accepted becomes wisdom. Strangely once you accept that something binds you, you are also set free in that instant.

Sagittarius needs the duality of Gemini as his mirror because now he is observing ‘separation’, ‘the act of creation of karma’. His mirror shows him how he started so that he knows how to get to his destination. He evaluates his philosophies against his mirror and thus achieves his destination. Gemini is also courage and boldness. This is is gift to his mirror. The mild mannered Jupiter needs the courage of Mercury to make that final choice of the spiritual over the material. The divine over the animal.

Why does a soul get separated from the Ultimate reality and lose its real self? It plays the game of creation for joy. We are all here because we are enjoying ourselves. The instant we stop enjoying this funfair, we will go home to our true Reality. Gemini and Sagittarius are the two points in the zodiac where we chose to immerse ourself in duality and then choose to understand singularity again.

(A lot will depend on the position of Mercury and his mirror Jupiter. Both these mild natured planets own the four kendra (building block houses, 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th). Kendra-adhi-pati, as a functional malefic can applicable here if these signs are the ascendant signs. This makes life a slight bit harder on the material plane but gives results on the spiritual. As most of us are quite materialistic, not really bothered about the spiritual, this will create stress. But if both these signs engage in some personal spiritual practice they can benefit immensely. This practice will ‘hold’ them as quick moving karmic movements swirl around them.)

This axis is the leap (Mercury) of faith (Jupiter)!

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion, Part 3

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion – Part 2

This is a continuation post from here. If you have Dhanu/Sagittarius as the ascendant/birth moon sign or if you have several planets placed in Dhanu, you can expect to be this on the internal/subconscious levels.

Being the 9th sign, it is the ‘Dharma-sthan’, here is the ‘foundation’ of the Kaal-purush (the animating principle of space-time/creation). Here you finally understand the purpose of your life and the constraints that your karma from present/past lives has laid on you. You begin to hope that you can successfully navigate the path of karma and reach your goal of self-realization. Your internal philosophies and your spiritual teacher, peers and patrons support you in this belief.

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion - Part 2

This sign is represented by a centaur carrying a bow and an arrow aimed and ready to shoot. The bow/Dhanushya and the arrow/Baan is a very important allegory which is repeated in every Hindu/Sanatan Dharm story. Shri Ram was a archer/Dhanurdhari. Shri Krishna taught the Bhagwat Gita to his cousin Arjun who was an archer too. The bow is the curve of the spine with its chakras, the arrow is the kundalini energy and the archer is you. You pull back the bow-string with the energy of your spiritual practice and you aim at the top of your internal Shrichakra, the Bindu/Realization. You have set your sights on the Ultimate so your trials and tribulations are also going to be the highest here.

The sign is also represented by a Centaur, the higher human nature now dominates the lower animal nature and sets sight for Moksh with his bow/arrow. The centaur looks upwards away from the animal self. The person is internally ready to give up all comforts and entertainments of Creation to reach the highest divinity within himself. Your mirror is the duality of Gemini.

You are always engaged, focussed on some work or the other, you have the ability to sacrifice your own comforts for your beliefs, you have the courage of conviction. Often fearless and not bothered with consequences, you express yourself with clarity and eloquence. You are aware of the impermanence of form. You realise at the deepest levels that the real relationship is the one you have with yourself, rest everything is just a show. So you have your groups whom you address and teach but internally you are not dependent on them emotionally /spiritually.

Sagittarius is linked to Aries and Leo by the 5-9 axis, each of these sign is linked to the other by the cycle of foundation and creative intelligence. The entire force of the personality and the divine intelligence and creativity is now linked to the understanding of karma. Deep philosophical understanding leads to courage in entering the uncharted realms of the soul which leads to divine intelligence which again leads to deeper philosophy. This is the every evolving spiral of auspiciousness, called the Dharm trikon. The past is linked to the present and guided by the divine, creates the future.

The experiences indicated by Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer and Scorpio will challenge and frustrate the Sagittarius unless he understands their lessons.

Aquarius will require the centaur to come back to his lower nature at times, he will be required to interact, bargain and exchange with a large number of often juvenile or immature partners. Here your boldness, courage, skills of articulation and effective communication will be tested. Aquarius brings in diffuse groups of like minded persons/ideas, it is required that you deal with them intelligently, with discipline, consistency and perhaps with a slight bit of rule-breaking. (But break too many rules and Saturn will register it as karma.) So the best way to counter this challenge by Aquarius, would be to proactively teach and interact on your own terms from the start. ‘Students’ is the exact juvenile, large diffuse target group and as you teach, you exchange ideas; handling a large bunch of students requires courage, boldness and skills. So rather than waiting for Aquarius to bring on his own group, proactively teach, whatever you know, teach it to others, any way you can. And understand that as you teach, your personal knowledge, wisdom and understanding is also being tested.

Taurus is located 6th from Sagittarius. If you keep on hoarding your assets for your personal family’s use you will fail your test here. Give as much as you can, the more you give the more will make its way back to you. You are not tied to one single family now, you belong to the whole of creation. On the physical plane, pay attention to your diet and lifestyle. Your personal family might create issues for you to resolve, so without being emotional about it, try to resolve them as per your conscience.

Now Cancer is the personal tradition, culture and homeland. You are required to make that leap from a limited family/ cultural set-up to a wide humanitarian mindset. All of creation must be accepted as being your homeland, inclusiveness is to be cultivated. Accept all the experiences in the conscious/Jagruti, astral/Swapna and sub-conscious/Sushupti states, so that the final Turiya becomes available to you. Cancer and its Moon represents the sum total of your entire existences, all the experiences of all your past/present/future/parallel lives. On the material side, you will generally be required to work without family support and emotional pleasures.

Scorpio is counted 12th from Sagittarius so the assets of Scorpio are consumed to create the personality of the Archer. Scorpio is deep turmoil, secrets being excavated with single minded determination often with deep emotional/spiritual/physical pain. When the secrets are out, they may not even be comforting to the soul. Deep dark secrets which were hidden for a reason are pulled out by the mysterious Scorpio. All the secrets are known in Scorpio and accepted in Sagittarius. You are meant to expand your consciousness, here. Try to look at your experiences with the lens of philosophy, religion, spirituality etc so that you can absorb their lessons completely.

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion - Part 2

Sagittarius is often considered to be the luckiest sign of the zodiac, but often the other side of the psyche is not visible and it can be quite stressed.

All this positivity surrounding Sagittarius, then there  must be a downside too. And it is this, Sagittarius (and Gemini) represent the fastest moving events in life. To negotiate this continual movement you need to do some regular spiritual practice, there is no other way. You are so aware of your karmic bindings that you need the peace, calm and silence of the personal spiritual practice to shelter you. The trick is to act in such a way that the karma is balanced without getting emotional or attached about it. This means that you have to be highly aware of your own Dharma/the right action. For this you have to be in tune with your Conscience/Antaratma.

You are between Scorpio, (the mystery) and Capricorn (the action). You get your resources from the Mars of Scorpio and you resources are depleted by the Saturn of Capricorn. You are the 9th/the foundation, so your actions have to be for the greatest good of the greatest number. You may have to sacrifice your individual personality though. Decide how should you act? So you have the support from all these positive things that Sagittarius is known for, to help you decide and then focus single-pointedly.

The center of our Galaxy, the Vishnu-nabhi around which our galaxy revolves is the Nakshatra, Mula. This is a part of Sagittarius. This is the most mysterious lunar mansion, where you are offered the scope for Moksh, but only if you accept the temporary but intense pain of detachment from all of Creation.

Gemini Sagittarius axis, Events in motion - Part 2
