Psychic attacks, how do they happen?

This is rather serious topic as psychic attacks are a criminal act. They may be malevolent or unintentional, slow draining or fast acting or whatever but they damage the victim. They drain the vitality of the victim, make him ill, either physically or mentally, hurt him emotionally, subdue his spirit, cause him losses, control his will and in some cases can even kill.

We actually live in a maelstrom of invisible forces. We do not perceive these forces but they affect us deeply. Most of us are thankfully unaware of this aspect of our life. Our limited senses are incapable of registering these forces. And strangely our ignorance actually protects us. But sometimes these forces rise up and swamp us. These forces link up on the astral levels first and then percolate into the physical body. The victim is is hurt from the inside out! This takes several months to heal completely depending on the intensity of the hurt.

Psychic attacks, how do they happen?

Here are a few scenarios where psychic attack is possible,

You might go to a place where such invisible forces are concentrated. This happens very commonly, eg haunted houses or cemeteries especially where bodies are buried. Or houses built on sites which have seen traumatic events in the past. Or even sites of our ancient temples which were desecrated and destroyed by the invaders. Here the astral dimensions are especially strong, dense, concentrated. Susceptible people should stay away from such places, the interference from the astral planes can hurt. I use the word ‘interference’. Mostly these incidents are not deliberate with malevolent intentions. The spirit forces may be curious or in panic themselves. (My son was about 8yrs old when he first saw a tree being cut. It was an old massive tree over 150yrs old. We had to wait for some 10mins as a branch had fallen across and blocked the road. Every tree has spirits living on it. This old giant was being killed systematically and was radiating its pain. Its resident spirits were upset. Death is quite interesting so other entities had come to watch. The disturbance on the astral levels was unbelievable. My son started crying uncontrollably, affected by all this. And a few curious spirits tried to follow him home…)

Generally children are susceptible as they are more aware of these invisible forces. Babies are most sensitive. Then in some families these abilities are ‘inherited’. These families are also more linked to the astral forces thus can sense them. e.g. I have seen that in such families, Rahu/ Ketu are significantly placed and control a major part of the personality and environment. However even if someone can sense them, they may not have the mental strength or skill to manage them. One of my aunts can ‘see’ a lot of stuff but it scares her badly.

Then another scenario. You might meet people who are linked to such forces, and this affects you on the internal levels, upsetting you. People who actively perform rituals linked to the astral dimensions have a very strong dense overpowering aura. If the energies being invoked are positive you feel relaxed with such people. But if the person is doing energy work with negative intentions or doing the rituals wrong, or has spirits bound to him as his slaves, etc his aura feels suffocative and pulls at your energy. (Once I met a Tarot practitioner. A good-natured woman, she surprise-hugged me as we left. In this 2-sec hug she stripped my aura off. As we got in the car, I started uncontrollably crying/shivering, body went cold. It took a few minutes to set me right. But in these few minutes I experienced what a psychic attack can really mean! She was doing some strange mantra jaap, was recently divorced, stressed out. Her own energy was depleted and she unconsciously pulled out mine to replenish hers.)

Psychic attacks, how do they happen?

Another possibility is that you meet someone suffering because of psychic attacks and this suffering links with you. This can drain you too. Often you will get clients with this sort of pain. Be very careful about your interactions with them. Remember to cut cords and do a complete cleansing and protection of yourself and your office. Never allow clients at your actual residence with their problems.

People often get interested in these invisible forces and perform minor cleansing or protecting rituals. Mostly they are quite unskilled and unaware, so cannot call on the really big energies. So they remain safe by their own lack of skill. But it is possible that someone, by ill-luck or wrong guidance, gets into more than he can handle. This is then serious trouble. This danger is also quite common among the serious practitioners. So even if you have books like ‘Goetic spirits‘ do be very careful in doing any of the rituals described in it.

Then another way you get involved in the invisible world is this. You buy something, a curio or pre-owned book or object of ‘magic’ and it turns out to be actually charged with negative energy. Antiques or objects used by people in the past or symbols linked to other faiths of which one does not have sufficient information etc carry psychic traces from their previous owners and faith-associations. Better avoid bringing such objects/images into your house.

And finally someone may actively target you. Intend to cause you pain, trouble, influence your mind, force you to follow his directions etc. This is a malicious attack on you and you must take steps to get out of it before you get yourself into serious trouble.

Some attacks may be slow and subtle. These can go on for quite some time making you miserable, upset, physically ill and no definitive diagnosis. And some attacks may be quick and fast acting. Either way it is a terrible experience.

If you are under a psychic attack some of the effects that you might experience are,

A heavy weight pressing you as you sleep. Nervous exhaustion and deep fear. Cannot sleep, physical exhaustion, unknown reason for ‘wasting’ away, mental breakdown. As you are denied deep sleep your body/ mind/ soul suffers. Sleep paralysis is common, as you dream and suddenly are jerked awake. Frequent dreams of being buried, tied up, snakes, ghosts, cemeteries, nightmares etc. There might be bruises on the body or seizures/ fits in rare extreme cases. Seeing a darkness from the corners of your eyes. Cold drafts in the house, your hair standing on end. Filthy smells from certain locations in the house. Hearing random thuds and sounds. (Just a couple of weeks ago. I live in a large bungalow with sloping tin roofs. It was raining heavily and around midnight, there were heavy thuds on the roof, as if an elephant was walking on it. My house is well-shielded so jumping on the roofs was all that it could do!). Manipulating elements like this can get dangerous as things may set on fire, electrical equipment may short, etc. A change in your mindset, you feel depressed, sad, tired all the time, your opinions change drastically, your likes/dislikes change as the personality is forced to change by the malicious attack. In fact your aura will show this negative energy clearly. Now there could be a perfectly material explanation for some of these things, and sometimes there is too. But the possibility of the occult should not be ignored especially if you are seeing multiple symptoms together.

Psychic attack can be of two types, intentional and unintentional.

One in which the perpetrator is unaware of what he is doing. Someone may be so emotionally hurt that he lashes out with pain. The intention to hurt gets powered by the pain and actually causes harm. (I had one client who married against his mother’s wishes, the mother was emotionally hurt. Her emotions against her son, turned into actual astral black ‘arrows’. I saw them embedded in his back, he was severely ill but the doctors could not find the reason. The reason was the ‘arrows’. It was an intense psychic attack and both were unaware of what had really happened.)

Another case, here the perpetrator is personally under the influence of negative energy and literally begs a higher energy individual for help. My brothers and I have suffered this several times. (One of my brothers travels by train everyday, so is in physical contact with several random people. He does his own pujas and has a very high level of energy but is always drained. He gives it away to all these depleted people who brush against him as his travels! )

For these type of unintentional astral attacks the only solution is to shield yourself, cleanse yourself and ground yourself regularly. Do your spiritual practice regularly to keep yourself charged up. Also minimise physical contact with random people.

Psychic attacks, how do they happen?

The second type of psychic attack is actually criminal. It is intentional and designed to harm the victim. Also called ‘black magic’. There are several rituals used for creating such attack energies. Commonly a blood sacrifice is performed by the practitioner, black goats and black cockerels are the favoured sacrifices. Location can be cemeteries, boundaries of towns, isolated places, river-banks etc. And during the no-moon nights or twilight. The energy of death is linked to the negative intentions and sent to the target victim. The first thing that happens is that the victim is unable to understand what is happening to him. He is ‘blindfolded’, so that the negativity does not register. Then he argues with all those people who might help him recover. He is isolated and then the second part where he is actually hurt plays out. (Once I  was caught in a mental fog, body broke down, was unable to meet with my brothers who could have helped me, my husband got too busy with his work, not-at-home types. It took a full 2 months to really understand what was happening and to clean it out.)

I and my family members have suffered through such attacks several times. So when I write these posts, it is from personal experience. Sometimes I do think twice about writing these off-beat things. But then there are two ways of looking at it, someone may be inspired to attack and someone might learn how to protect himself from such attacks. It is my karma to write all that I know. So what you make of these posts, Dear Reader, it is between you and your conscience.

(In my next post have written about few easy ways of protecting yourself from such attacks.)

Soul in the dream state

There are four states of existence, Awake – Jagruti, Swapna -Dream, Deep sleep – Sushupti and Turiya – the fourth state e.g. in deep Dhyan.

The dream state is an intermediate one between the awake (Jagrut) and the deep sleep (Shushupti) states. This is a joint (Sandhya) between these two states and is by itself a ‘state of existence’. The joint between two energies is always very important as the energies here are different and allow you to explore things which would not be possible in the two states themselves. The energy of the joint /Sandhya is called the Devi, ray of Light. All the texts insist on focussing on the Sandhya for spiritual progress and eventual Moksh.

The Dream state is called ‘Mayavat’, ‘similar to Maya’. Maya Maya is a Sanskrit word which is taken to mean ‘illusion’, which is incorrect. Maya means ‘not this’. Thus the dream state cannot be conclusively proved to be real nor can it be conclusively proved to be un-real.

The Kuthastha purush/ the individual soul has powered down the body-robot and has all possible energies at his disposal. The individual soul is the Creator of the Swapna state, ie you exercise the powers of creation in the dream state. Normally people get fantastic dreams where impossible things are seen and experienced. And for the dreamer, these things are very much real.

There have always been incidents where dreams have foretold the future. People see omens in dreams or some things from the past are made clear in the dreams. One of my clients would get dreams where he would be killed in a war with an arrow through his neck, he would feel the pain and wake up. The same dream repeating again and again. He went through a guided mediation session after which he remembered one past life as a Mongol warrior and came to terms with it. After this the dreams stopped.

Soul in the dream state

In Sanatan dharm/Hinduism, the Seers/Rishi have often been given Mantra in their dreams. The Ramraksha stotra was given by Shiv to Rishi Vishvamitra in his dream state. This is one of the most powerful stotras and is often used to protect children in India.

Often your ancestor spirits will come in your dreams to indicate things and communicate with you. If you see some ancestor in your dreams frequently you should offer a chapati with some jaggery to a desi cow (cows with a hump on the back). This simple act sends energy to the said ancestor and the repetitive dream will stop.

The soul rebalances karma in dreams, as the experiences seen in the dreams are sometimes karma being experienced. You might see your child dying in your dreams, you feel the intense pain and the grief. And when you wake up you realise that you are not even married yet! But you have completed a significant karma of experiencing the death of your child in the dream state. Often astral travel happens and is one of the commonest methods of rebalancing karma while in the Swapna-awastha. But if you are astrally travelling too much take care of your physical body, do some spiritual practice to energise yourself, else you will fall ill.

Especially things related to ‘black magic‘, are seen more clearly in dreams. People who have ill-wishing put on them using black magic suffer these effects in their dreams too. If you get dreams of being buried alive and perhaps some ritual connected to you being performed in a cemetery (smashan), be alert. In your waking state take sufficient precautions to protect yourself on the energy levels.

And if you are strong enough you can remove the effects of ‘black magic/ ill-wishing’ more easily if you are aware and work in your dream state. You can recite mantras or even do rituals in your dreams. These are then not random dreams, you decide on the activities you are going to do. The more you progress spiritually the more you can control and use the dream state for energy work.

Now the astrological connections. People who have their 12th house, Pisces sign or ascendant sign/lord, or Moon associated with Rahu or Ketu can control their dream states easily. If this Rahu or Ketu is influenced /conjunct / aspected by Venus or Jupiter it becomes even more easier you will have access to the knowledge. Mars especially can help you remain unafraid and pro-active. Mercury will help in the technical stuff related to dream-control and activities. Saturn will make you work so hard in your dream state that your physical body will suffer. And a Sun influencing them will also help in giving self-confidence and more control over the creativity linked to the dream actions.

If you have nightmares, the simple Mantra ‘Govind’ will stop the nightmare immediately. ‘Govind’ is specifically for destroying nightmares, ‘Duhswapne smarh Govindam‘, from the Vishnu Shodash-nama stotra. Do this. Cup your right hand on the back of your head where your neck meets the head. There is a hollow at the base of the skull here (point where Sushumna bifurcates). And the left hand at the third eye/ Ajnya chakra. Intend very strongly that you will remember the Mantra ‘Govind’ in your dreams. Push this thought strongly into your palms and into your head. This will register in your subconscious. So the next time you are uncomfortable in a dream, your subconscious will remind you within the dream to recite ‘Govind’. It takes just this one word to stop the nightmare.

Another way of making use of your dreams is you keep a dream diary. Most of us remember the dreams as we wake up for a couple of minutes, then we forget. So keep a diary at your bedside and the first thing as you wake up write a few keywords from your dream in it. So even if you forget it, you will be able to remember it from the diary. So you can then make use of whatever your subconscious has shown you during the dream state/ Swapna awastha.

Coconuts in energy work..

Coconut in sanskrit is called the “Shriphal”, the ‘fruit dear to Shri’. It has several uses in Sanatan Dharma/Hinduism. It is used in pujas, in black magic, as a blessing, to curse, as a store of energy, to remove negative energy, as offerings, as an energy sacrifice, to amplify intention etc. And of course the culinary uses, from making prasadams, to chutneys, to adding flavour to your prawns and fish curry! It has diverse medicinal uses too. The water from a tender green coconut is a very healthy electrolyte drink. And coconut oil is the tastiest, you can cook your food in it or apply it to your skin/hair. Such a wonderfully perfect all rounder fruit. The coconut.

Coconuts in energy work..

Coconut have the ability to absorb energy. So you can charge a coconut with your intentions or energies from mantras and pujas. Such a coconut should be brown colored and have water inside, you can shake it to confirm, the water will slosh inside it. And should have a tuft of brown fibres at the point where it has its three ‘eyes’.

  1. If you do a puja or express an intention for something in the future, e.g birth of a child, then such a coconut is kept in the puja room/near your altar in your house, until the wish is fulfilled. After after which it can be is deposited in running water or the sea.
  2. If the intention is for something continuing, e.g. profits from your factory, it is kept at your puja ghar/altar in your office in the factory for ever.
  3. If the intention is for general welfare and happiness, often during a puja, then it is broken after the puja and its water and white is distributed as prasadam to all the members of the family.
  4. If the intention is for removal of negative energies from your aura then the coconut waved 3 times clockwise around your head, then taken outside the house, broken in one dash and put in running water/ sea/ under a tree somewhere.
  5. If the intention is for causing pain from someone, commonly known as “black magic” then you hold the coconut in your hands, think of the person with the negative intention energy, then simply dash it to the ground and break it. The broken pieces are either put in the running water/sea/under a tree. Or even worse given to him to eat. So beware of eating coconut pieces from random people even if it is offered in the guise of ‘prasadam’.
  6. But most commonly a coconut is used in temples, where devotees charge a coconut with their wish and dashed to pieces in front of the deity. Most temples have a specific area with a stone placed where devotees can dash and break their coconuts. This is very auspicious and if done with sufficient energy actually manifests the desire.

Puja of a kalash kumbh above is carried out during auspicious days where the Devi is worshipped. Most commonly during Durga puja/Navratri this set up is made and the energies of the Devi are invoked inside this. After the puja is complete the energies are ritually requested to leave the set-up too. The water from the pot/kalash is sprinkled around the house and the remaining put under a tree. And the coconut is then given to the priest/pujari who has performed it, along with the rest of the accessory stuff, he disposes of it in running water etc, depending on the pujas that has been performed.

Coconuts in energy work..

Coconut is extraordinary because its liquid ‘coconut water’ is similar to the water inside your body’s cells. When you intend, every cell of your body participates in creating this intention. So in rather cryptic way, the energy of your thought resonates with the water inside your cells and also in the water of the coconut you hold in your hands. If you are required to keep it in your altar, it acts as an energy battery, an object of positive auspicious energies.

But sometimes you have to break open the coconut. The energy released and the water split has the power to amplify the intention and carry it to the Lok/ dimensions of creation (Bhuh, Bhuvah, Swah, Mahah, Janah, Tapah and Satyam. The energies of these dimensions are linked to the chakras with your energy body). Depending on the power of your intention, the breaking of the coconut can carry it to the highest possible energy levels and manifest your wish from the highest energy planes.

In the Hindu/Sanatan Dharm the last Sanskar is Anteyshti where the physical body is offered to the conscious energies of fire/ Agni. During this, as the body is consumed, the skull cracks open. The energy of the Anteyshti is released at this moment and it propels the soul to the energy dimension where it will reside till it is time for its next birth. The cracking of the coconut releases the same sort of energy, here it propels your intention up the energy dimensions.

Coconut is a very cryptic and very auspicious fruit which you can programme and use as a tool in your energy work in several ways.

‘Cleaning up’ after energy work

In several of my posts I have written about things that I sometimes do, the so-called ‘energy-work’. Here is a bit on the precautions that we take while doing these things. Have written about these earlier but here is a consolidated list.

'Cleaning up' after energy work

Peacock feathers bunch – There is a peacock feather bunch in my bedroom as well as in my sitting room, protects me as I sleep and also looks pretty in my house. I use it to brush out the aura of my house once a week and for my family members if they want me to.

Smudging – I use Loban/frankincense. Saturday evenings I light up a piece and take it around my house, reciting the Navavarna mantra, also ring a small bell as I go around. It works well enough for the house, but not so well for removing negative energies from people.

Ganga water – I live near the river Ganga, its water has perfect energy. I spritz this water in my house if I feel its energy levels going down and on myself if I have dabbled in energy work and need cleansing.

Camphor – Burning real natural camphor works well for removal of negativity. And I also keep small Camphor sachets in the rooms and in my car. Camphor sublimes so I replace these sachets once a month. Charging these sachets with Reiki symbols makes them even more effective.

Lemons – I use them to ‘remove’ the evil eye or spirits roaming around in my house or around my family members. Once a month on the no-moon night or during an eclipse.

Sea salt – Have written about this in detail in a previous post. This is one essential thing in your energy kit you can use it in several ways for protection, cleansing and disconnection.

Rice – Raw uncooked rice is also an option. Hold a fistful of rice for a minute in your hand with the intention that it picks up all the negative stuff which has attached to you and wave it around your head thrice in the clockwise direction. Then go out of your house, turn around so that you are facing your house and throw this rice over your shoulder and without looking back, directly come back inside.

Hair – A lot can be done using hair! I cannot bear anyone touching my head or hair even if for a hair cut. For the past several years I have been cutting my hair myself. One of the best ways of removing negative energy cords is snipping off just one strand of hair with the intention on a no-moon (amavasya) day.

Pendulums – Use your pendulum with the intention of disconnection and cleansing. You hold it in your right hand and keep your left palm an inch below it as it moves. As it moves within your aura field it will remove the negative stuff that you have picked up.

Chi-balls – Everyone can make them, they start forming a soon as your cupped hands are near each other. If you focus and intend they can be made stronger and more powerful. Now you make your chi-ball and visualise it as a shell around you, pearly silvery golden in color. You can see out of this but no one can see you within this shell. This is the best protective energy shield you can make for yourself. It will also cut negative cords around you if any.

Gold and silver – I wear gold bangles and silver anklets which I charge with my mantras and intention for protection. They then work like ‘energy gloves’ and ‘socks’ protecting me from anything negative that I might get involved with. The center of the earlobe corresponds with the pineal gland so wearing gold earrings charged with mantras acts as a very good energy battery for the entire body.

Trimetal bangle made of Copper, silver and gold adds the Martian fiery energy of aggression and confidence to take on anything. So this is an all in one tool which helps when taking on beings from other dimensions.

Amulets – I use mantras to do homa with the intention of protection and the ash which remains is packed inside a talisman which I wear. Once its job is done it falls off on its own. The ash from such a homa can be used in several ways, I blow it over myself as I am about to leave home and again when I come back to rid myself of negative cords and stuff.

'Cleaning up' after energy work

Reiki

  • First, I do not do healings on others, I teach them instead to heal themselves. Sorry to say this, but the people who come are so overwhelmed with negative energies that their higher self requests more and above the Reiki and then it becomes difficult.
  • Reiki, the original principles that Mikao Usui taught, was supposed to be taught to all without charging them for it and everyone was supposed to do their own healing. So if our clients are interested we initiate them into Reiki rather than doing their healing ourselves.
  • If they are too ill, we use crystals or water rather than direct connection. Charging crystals and telling them to keep it in their pockets or charging their drinking water works beautifully. Hon sha zhe sho nen is used to sandwich all the other symbols and intentions, and the whole package is ‘put’ into the crystal or water bottle. This acts as an energy battery for a fortnight easily.
  • If direct healing is unavoidable then only for 5 mins, no more. (Modern Reiki practitioners claim that reiki is channelising the universal energy, which is true. But we have observed that more than 5 minutes and your higher self starts giving out your personal energy.)
  • Disconnection is using the cho ku re. Visualising cho ku re as a ‘sword’ which cleanly separates the energy link to the client. This ‘sword’ is quite useful and you can use it separate yourself from anything, energy cords and emotional hangovers from unpleasant situations.

Active psychic protection – using the intention to create weapons and shields which can be used in astral ‘war’. I have written three separate posts here.

Finally spiritual practice – Doing your regular spiritual practice, Dhyan or a mantra jaap helps in more ways than one. The body’s energy gets more intense, you get a armour of positive energies, every action you do gets powered up. If you have managed to make your mantra siddha, then it is a permanent weapon and shield in your hands. Another effect is that you are not scared of anything as you have the strength and the will to use that strength too.

And then as a last resort. If you have gone in more than you could handle and the negative energy of the situation has touched you more deeply that you anticipated, its best to fall a little bit sick. Allow the negative energy to express itself in a controlled way, a minor cold, throwing up or loose motions will remove the negative energy from your system completely, as a last resort.

Most importantly learn to see auras, it is very easy and if you practice you should be able to see the overall aura, the individual auras of each body parts, the aura of food/water that you are going to eat, the aura of your house etc. In fact you will be able to see the aura of speech, the words that someone is speaking. If you sense negative energy, immediately visualise a shield around you and charge this shield with the mantra/reiki/intention etc. You will also be able to sense the other dimensional beings with time. Learn to sense auras it will be a big asset in your energy work and add to your confidence.

Goetic spirits and witchcraft

Something off-beat today. A look into the darker side, taboos perhaps. Someone on Facebook was inviting me to discuss ‘witchcraft’ with him, thus this post.

Recently I came across a very interesting book, “Aleister Crowley’s Illustrated Goetica” by Lon Milo DuQuette. I use Thoth Tarot designed by Crowley so was looking forward to reading this book. To my surprise this book described Spirits, “Goetic spirits” and was about how you can call them and use them to do your work. Something like a genie. Each spirit had its own sign/sigil which could be used to reach it, summon it and bind it. And each spirit has its own speciality, the work it could perform. The description and everything reminded me of the spirits used for witchcraft/black-magic in India.

Goetic spirits and witchcraft

There are several forms that Consciousness takes, we humans are just one form among these. I believe humans are the most creative of all these forms. There are so many stotras and mantras where it is mentioned that these give results specifically for humans. Humans have extraordinary powers to Create. Only in the human form we have a Will which we use to create our own Universe.

When you conjure spirits i.e. call them from their dimension to yours, you are allowing them entry into your Universe and this access is very valuable for them. Everyone strives for recognition and rewards even the spirits. I quite liked this book because there were very simple ways to call them. Someone has done quite a bit of work on describing the ritual stuff, defining the work they perform and especially for beginners provides quite a reasonable amount of protection too. And also the rewards they desire are quite simple, like marking out their sigils on a piece of metal and keeping them somewhere safe in your Universe. This grants them existence in your Universe. If someone wants to experiment with ‘witch-craft’ this book will definitely help. But it is my karma to counsel so here it goes.

Witchcraft is quite common. Using conscious energies to do your work is also common. And calling spirits from other dimensions is also very common. Some people and societies however have this idea that spirits and magic is evil, a taboo. It is not. Nothing is good or bad, energy is energy. How you use it matters. if you do not understand something you respond with fear. Then your Intention matters and colors the Action as good/evil. If your Conscience/Antaratma is ok with what you are upto it is all good, as ultimately you answer only to Yourself. If you cheat your own self, well then you have to rebalance the Karma in your future lives.

Back to calling spirits. If your Will is strong enough it can be as simple as focussing on the sigil of the spirit, thinking about it, calling it to answer, summoning it. And quite often the Will is strong. “This is my world and I have invited someone here so I have the power to kick it back to his dimension too”. This confidence is necessary. But again just confidence is not enough, you need to have the strength too. I have seen the best way to increase your strength in these aspects is to use the mantras from the Devi Mahatmya/Durga Saptashati. But then as always be very careful with these energies because they are very huge, terrible and quick-acting. The spirits you call,

  • The spirits who answer your summons/invitation are conscious entities. They have their own agenda. Your books on ritualistic magics can define them endlessly but still there are still some things which will not be clearly mentioned. And each summoning is different. In a one-off chance you might call on more than you anticipate.
  • The spirit you call on is now your ‘business partner’. You provide it energy and permission to remain in your world and it will work for you. So be very clear and conscious about what you are offering into the bargain. Someone I know did this when he was a teenager, got a minor spirit into a mirror for scrying. The bargain was one drop of blood. But then as the part is also the whole, he realised that that tiny drop of blood connected him even more deeply than he had anticipated. So he promptly released the spirit and consciously purged himself of its energies by falling ill.
  • Now the spirit is a resident of the astral worlds and other dimensions so its action will be through the astral and other indescribable energies which will be manifested in your physical Universe. The bargain you make will always have an astral component, you may not even be fully aware of what you contract. eg when you draw its sigil on a piece of metal you will be doing it with your fingers and your energy. Thus tying yourself to it on the astral level, as you access it so can it can access you.
  • Meddling with these energies can have effects beyond this one life. The astral and other dimensions, past parallel and future lives are a sort of continuous flowing ‘now’. So the actions you perform will reflect throughout your entire existence. (I know a chart where the person in his past life, used spirits to wreck havoc in other persons lives. In this life his astral self represented by the Moon and the 12th house is suffering, will resolve after he turns 36yrs but till then Karma is rebalancing.)
  • And finally actively protect yourself, intend protection at all levels at all times. You cannot rest even when you sleep as that is the time you sub-conscious self is active. Your past ‘business partners’ may still access you without your conscious knowledge and steal energy from you.

Astrologically these interactions are in the domain of the 8th house, where you actively use these secret energies to transform yourself. Interacting with these entities changes you for ever, your aura changes, your confidence changes, you change irrevocably. The ‘normal’ people of the society seem more plain and one-dimensional, their views and opinions irrelevant. Thus most active witches and tantriks live a secret life away from the common society. Also the vibrations that your aura will give out create fear as normal people cannot even comprehend of dimensions beyond the 5 senses and here you routinely move and work in them.

It is quite interesting and instructive, but I do not recommend anyone getting into tantra and magics without a real genuine teacher/Guru but yes, for those who can and do it, it can be very liberating. But getting into these things just on the basis of what you read or chat about on facebook, is quite dangerous. So overall ‘Goetic spirits’ was an interesting read and it felt good that the East and West do meet on this shadowy, secret and dangerous side of energy.

Goetic spirits and witchcraft
