   Thank you very much for Kind clarification Ma’am..

   I follow your suggestions..
   And…in 5 Maha yajnyas..
   I often try to study scritptures and at least try to think about what is birth&death and Moksha..
   And what is God etc..
   And..try to discuss this subject with others.
   And..I do small pujas..
   I scared to do big pujas coz I think its risky..
   If i dont have full knowledge it can be go wrong.

   And..Bhuta yajnya is one among 5 yajnyas..
   It’s my habit from childhood to feed any animal..
   Now..I know it’s a yajnya in 5..

       This is just the start of Kaliyug. People have started mispronouncing something as basic asOm, saying negative things about the deities, are using degraded versions of mantras, are worshipping adharmic entities and overall not bothered about developing their mental strength/positivity/dharma.
       As they say in Hindi.. aage aage dekho hota hai kya..

       But if u want to read manusmruti no one stopping you.. do read it.
       And if you find it useful then do encourage your family members esp the children in ur family, friends, etc to read it.

   Hi mam,

   One of my sample charts that I was looking was for a libra lagna and venus the lagna lord exalted in the 6th house and tightly conjunct the sun. In trying to interpret this placement, i realized that there are a couple of ascendants where the lagna lord is exalted in a dushamsthan ( ex. the 6th house for Libra lagna, 8th house for Sagittarius). How should these be interpreted? One one hand, they are in their ideal environment and comfortable, but the background of the turbulence of the dushamsthan is still there.
   Is there an esoteric reason these lagna lords are exalted in these turbulent houses that would help make sense with the interpretation? I feel that with my learning style, I will not understand the combustion aspect of that placement without first understanding this. Many thanks!

     check their ishta/kashta phala, also if the planets are jagrut/swapna/etc these keywords will help add more nuances to your readings.

   In one of your articles you mentioned certain occultists who keep spirits and appease them with Tamasic offerings and that over time those occultists also become degraded.

   Well, if one were to worship such spirits for personal benefits and benevolence, without asking them to do negative things – Is that fine?

       all are deities, even Devi Lalitatripursundari.

       religions have ‘gods’.
       Dharma does not have a ‘god’.
       at the Gruhast level we worship the deities.
       at the Sanyasi level we work to find the Parabrahma within.

       i do not appreciate questions which are asked just for the sake of asking and without application of the mind.

   Realizing Atmatatwa..or Atmajnyan..
   And..staying in Jnyannishta..
   Seems both are different..
   But..what’s that difference..?

   Couldn’t one acheive “Jnyananishta” immediately after experiencing Atmajnyan..??
   Is Atmatatwa revealed to us just as glimpse and disappear..

   And..Some people says “SaiBaba ” dont comes under vedic deities..
   How should we look personalities like Saibaba..?

   Can he be one of mysterious Avaduta avatars of God..?
   Can we look him as Guru..?

   I personally feels…
   He has attributes combination of Bhairava & Madhava..
   An Avaduta like Dattatreya..
   An Aghori..a tantrik..

     Yes, achieving atmajnyan and then achieving that jnyannishtha are two separate stages. Ref BG.

     Yes one can but only of the perfect Vivek and Vairagya exists.

     No, it does not disappear after you become steady in jnyannishtha

     I do not know much about him and neither does he matter to me.

     You decide who is a Guru for you.
     Follow whatever ‘personality’ you like. The choice and the consequences are yours alone.

     There is only one criteria for an Atmajnyani Sat Guru. That personality must always, repeatedly, emphatically and with full power say that ‘I myself am that Parabrahma’ or tell the disciples that ‘You yourself are that Parabrahma’. If he cannot say this line with full conviction then he is a fraud.
     Our Dharma is the only one philosophy which tells you what is your relationship with that Parabrahma. (Religions do not believe that humans have any relationship with their concept of ‘god’.)
     So ask your prospective ‘Guru’ ‘what is your relationship with the Parabrahma?’ and evaluate the answer you get. If he tells you something like the ‘god is in the heavens’, or ‘the god is the master’ then he is not a follower of Sanatan Dharma.

     I do not encourage terms like ‘avdhut avtars’. do not ask such questions here. There are only the avtars of Bhagwan Vishnu. And they are different for a very specific reason. (Again ref BG.)

     Do not use the term ‘avdhoot’ so loosely. Learn Sanskrit.
     Unfortunately we have so lost our roots that we use words without realising what they mean. what does ‘aghor’ mean? or ‘tantrik’?
     do learn basic sanskrit at least!

   Dear Tejaswinima’m,

   I see a temple being renovated nearby and the old small stone structure is superimposed with different materials, layout changed with artificial stuff like fiber and what not. Is this a good trend ? Also, does the deity appreciate it? Because, I remember in 2013 when flash floods at Kedarnath happened, lot of unwarranted “tourist ” points got washed away.
   Same types of renovations are happening in north and northeast and is it good to do this without referring to the authentic texts on jeernoddhar?

     This is not as per Shilpa shastra.

     As far as I know there is only one group of families of genuine Vastu shastris in our Bharat. They live in TN.

     Forget temples buildings.
     People have also started making moortis of white marble powder which is bonded with glues and installing them in temples! Genuine Moortis cannot be made today as we do not have enough Shilpis who know how to make them as per rules.

   And..Aghor is same word like Advaita
   one who appears ghor outward but has only auspeciousness as his true nature..
   I like formation of sanskrit words..

   I tried to relate words upto my understanding..

     the Atma does not decide the time of exit. You do.
     If you want technical words, then your higher self, ie your sookshma sharir decides the time of physical exit.

     a suicide is a wrong that you do to your own self.
     and the associated trauma is of such immense proportions that it takes several lives after this to come out that horror.
     this act leaves very intense impressions on your sookshma sharir.

     if anyone is getting such ideas in their minds, do consult a medical professional for help or at least confide in close friends or family members.
     it is a temporary inclination, it can be averted and the mind can be stabilised again.

    While knowing about Nakshtra Deities,
    I encounter deities like Aja Ekapad..and Ahirbudhnya..
    Why these forms found rare to worship..?
    They said as rudras among 11 rudras..

    I searched about these deities..but I didn’t get explainations about them..
    Some says Aja ekapad is shiva form with one foot..
    And..Ahibudhnya is an under water serpent..

    What they are actually..and reason for linked to perticular nakshatra..?
    Why those two deities associated with each other..?

    Dear Tejaswinima’m,

    I had read somewhere that it is only Vishnu-tattwa (rajas) which reincarnates to establish dharma, hence 10 Vishnu Avataars.
    Bhagwan Shiva does not reincarnate, therefore Hanuman dev cannot be called an amsh of Shiva. He and some others, even some local deities like some devis, vitthal etc were created later on for the sake of creating multiple deities confusion among us. Some archaeological evidence was also given. It came as a disappointment and surprise for me. Is there really truth in this kind of thinking?

      Bhagwan Vishnu is linked to Satva
      Brahmadev to Rajas

      Shri Hanuman is called Vayu-putra, Maharudra, Mukhyapran devata, Kesarinandan, Anjaniputra, Vajrahanuman, Maruti etc etc. each one of these are titles which explain an attribute of the deity.

      Don’t get caught in the puranic stories. they are meant to just convey these esoteric ideas in a simple manner.

      He was born after his parents did tapascharya of Bhagwan Shiv so yes we can say that he was a son of Bhagwan Shiv
      or that the actual prasad was brought to his parents by Vayu dev, so he was the son of Vayu too. etc
      these are all lakshan stories.

      if you take a mantra from a real Guru then you will be called ‘Guruputra’ .. does this mean that you are an actual son of that person? so try to understand the ‘bhaav’ or the esoteric meaning of the stories and the titles.

      technically each and everyone of us is Shiva itself, and not an avtar, we are all actually and perfectly Shiva.

      do not get into this avtars, ansh-avtars, part-avtars etc type of discussion. it will cause unnecessary confusion.

      each one of us worships the deity which appeals to us.
      and there are 8 billion of us, so technically there will be 8billion ‘types’ of deities.

      eg just with one deity,
      you might prefer to address him as ‘Vajra Hanuman’ as you like visualising him with the attribute of having a body as powerful as the Vajra.
      I might refer to him as ‘Mukhya pran devata Maruti’ as i prefer adoring his attribute of controlling the prans.
      Someone else may like calling him ‘Ram-doot’ or as ‘Anjaneya’ or someone may not like worshipping him at all..

      we are free to choose our deity/ our focus point.
      focus on your stuff and ignore the rest.

      of course it is possible.

      in fact there is one lakshan story/allegory on this.

      a Sadhu is leaving his body and he has told his disciples that he will attain videha mukti and loud bells will ring out with his mukti.
      he leaves the body but there are no bells.
      so the disciples call his Guru-brother and ask him what has happened to the Sadhu.
      So the Guru brother sits at the same spot and thinks. he smiles. there is this tree and one ripe fruit is clearly seen from this point. he tells the disciples to go and bring that fruit. the disciples bring it. the Guru brother cuts it open and there is a small caterpillar in it.
      the Guru brother ‘reminds’ the caterpillar of its real nature (it is the Sadhu who has at the very last instant felt a desire to eat the ripe fruit) and requests it to give up the caterpillar body. the caterpillar dies and the bells are heard as promised. the sadhu’s soul has achieved mukti.

      you choose your next life depending on the desire that you have in your mind at the very last instant of your this present life.

      that is why we recite our mantra for a lifetime so that we are in control of our minds and are able to leave the body with the power of the mantra and not a random desire.

    Dear Tejaswinima’m,

    If two people who had animosity in the current life go to the same loka (say level 2 in pitrulok) and meet would they remember the bitterness they had for each other in their recent life?Or will they just think the part of their life on earth was to balance their karmas, and move on in Pitrulok, or even get along well there?

    Also, if a person is a very staunch follower of one faith, follows rituals and has somewhat antagonistic feelings about some other faith and country. Is he likely to be born in the other faith or other country in one of his future lives? Which means he has to worship the same deity which he did not believe in and follow those practices which he disliked…is it possible?
    Suppose the complete race or society is killed and made extinct by a group of invaders, will the killed community be born in the faith or race of invaders ? Or, their enemies to kill them in any future war to revenge their wiping out in the earlier era?

    In a way, loving somebody in this birth may mean – at the sookshma level – serving the one whom the person hated last birth ?
    This repeated chakra seems quite complicated .

    I would like to share in this blog some blunders I made while reading sample charts because of a simple oversight. And also seek your advice on the further confusions that arose.

    So in this case the first look at the rashi chart showed Chandra and Surya in Karka in 7th Bhava. I started my initial analysis assuming Amavasya birth ( the major Blunder ).

    Not satisfied with the results ( chart assessment vs actual behavior/ situation of the person), I switched next to bhav chalit chart, which resulted in Chandra shifting to 6th Bhava/ Karka.

    On checking the panchanga, I realized my first assumption about Amavasya was totally wrong. And the date was about 15 hours away from the next Amavasya. It was a simple check, had I done in the very beginning, would have saved a lot of time. Also the difference in the Chandra / Surya degrees was also too high to result in Amavasya.

    My Learnings : 1. Always check panchanga as a first step not as an after thought .

    2. Rashi Chart can mislead, Bhava Chalit correction is absolute must.

    Another example, where in the Rashi chart everything was hunky dory, but the Bhava Chalit showed 10th Ketu ( and the person had in reality lost their father in a young age).

    Now my confusions for which I need your help and guidance.

    According to your earlier posts, for chalit reading in this case, we need to consider the results based on Chandra /6th / Karka as well as Surya /7th/Karka. Now the results of these two placements need to be considered as Union of Sets (where i simply add up the results ) and not like combustion / Amavasya , where one Graha influences the other. Right ?

    In this case many planets shifted their house in Chalit chart. So I hope I can apply the Union theory for all the bhava shifts.

      one will be more dominant, eg one planet may own 20deg of the bhav and the other 10deg.
      so you will have to merge the results depending on who owns how much.

      and if the lagna is at 29deg or 1deg then it becomes very typical.
      and if this person has a powerful asc lord, he can behave like a chameleon, actively using the energy of either planet.

      also if you are predicting then check if either has a dasha operating.

      you can use the divisional charts in these cases as they will clear so many things.

    In continuation to my comment…

    I have observed in the limited charts that I have, that the Ayanamsa differences don’t matter if we consider the Bhava Chalit shifts.

    There have been several debates on the correct Ayanamsa usage( in this Forum and outside). So if the Chalit chart is used , can we ignore the focus on right Ayanamsa ( i.e can we use any Ayanamsa) ?

      i use Lahiri chitrapaksha as that is what our nation follows. (i know that it is less than ideal)

      making charts is also a problem. if you are born within the tropics then its ok. but if the birth is beyond the tropics and especially nearer the poles then the bhava/houses have to be unequal. i had a charts where a house was about 7deg in width! Jyotish is all about math. it is not as easy as modern software makes it out to be.

      but in the end it does not matter as you can arrive at acceptable conclusions.
      making predictions is a combination of practice, study, personal judgement of the situation and intuition.
      that is why we need to go to a human for getting our charts read.

    The observation was more a mathematical experiment that a prediction based one, i was trying out different ayanamsas to see how big is the difference in the birth chart ( for India based charts ).

    Unfortunately, there is no easy way or software to calculate Chalit shifts impact on DCs. I guess I will have to finally bite the bullet and start learning manual calculations ( an activity that I was postponing ).

    Read this comment in a news youtube video on current geopolitics.

    “There is a samudra manthan happening in our world. Two sides are developing. Forces are at work to include some members onto their side. A new world order will rise, gradually.”

    But I felt that Mahabharat war was a more apt parallel. Dharma vs Adharma. The current ethos is crumbling and this is of course going to be reset by the cosmic equilibrium through this sequence of planetary turbulence etc.

    You have discussed this in your “Predicting longer trends” posts….Another astrologer also explained that 2030 Nov eclipse was exactly like the planetary constellations of Mahabharata war.

    In Bharat there is a lot of “the ancients are rising” talk. This is evident even in the movie world…Kantara etc.

    I felt that deities, devatas are stepping in now…

    Wanted to hear your views.

      the next 10 – 15yrs are extremely turbulent. i wrote very briefly on the trends in a couple of posts.

      all of us have to contribute..
      ie everyone is expected to do their daily pujas, follow the Gruhastashram rules and work for our Bharat.
