Ma’am, you had a article on synastry.. I had this(Ketu-Venus) with a Guru(not spiritual), she taught me and I excelled in her class. I learnt so much more than just her subject and remember her very fondly.
It has been 4-5 years now but her absence is still felt everyday. I want to spend more time in her guidance, only now it is not possible as I have already passed out from that institute.
Why am I feeling it soo strongly? I don’t remember anyone that fondly and whenever I text her(teacher’s day) my eyes fill with tears reading her reply. She also replies very nice(you can tell as it is not the standard thank you but a rather 4-5 line message on how I was a sincere student).
Will I ever get an opportunity to be in touch with her(more than this yearly message)? She feels different, I am happy and smiling like a little child around her.
I am sure if my questions make sense but I miss her and intent to have a more regular form of communication with her but she is mostly busy with work and doesn’t really enjoy talking like that.
Can you please help me here? Is that period over or can come again?

      Hi there
she was your teacher and that function is over, 4-5 yrs ago.
from her point of view you are a ex-student. and if she does not have the time or inclination to continue teaching you out of the regular syllabus then you too should accept that.

i do not advocate living the past, however pleasant it may have been.
doing so drains the precious energy of the present moment and also affects the future.

        Thanks!
But it would be fine if I continue to wish her every year and at times remember those days, right?
She is kind of like you(Idk you but the little sense I have from your writing style).

This kind of stuff always makes me believe in past lives, how we feel so connected to someone from past while being disconnect from so many in the present.
        Regards :))

      Hello Neel,

I can relate to your experience very much! This kind of need to be with and communicate I have experienced with 2 persons – one was my reiki master and the other was a very good friend. Both were much older to me. I loved spending time with them because we used to discuss on various spiritual and esoteric topics. I had completed my graduation then, was doing further studies, had joined a meditation group and was planning to get attuned to Reiki and then did it. It was a beautiful time of my life in terms of spirituality. I was led by the Universe to study so many interesting things (I am not referring to the academic studies which I was also pursuing), had many “coincidences” and spiritual experiences. With these 2 persons I had several coincidences and learnings, we seemed to trigger these in each other. Unfortunately our interactions lasted only for 3-4 years. My Reiki Master got preoccupied with some problems for which I couldn’t help much at that time. And within some months we were not in touch. I never like to go after someone who does not want to communicate with me or be with me because I believe in free will. At the same time emotionally I deeply missed our conversations. My other friend moved to settle in another state and we are in touch through Whatsapp. But there are no calls, which I would have liked. These were people with whom it was very difficult for me to distance myself from but had to – they fulfilled a spiritual need that nobody could fulfill. It was a tough lesson to learn to let go, which is something that did not come easily to me in those days. For past many years there is no one in my circle, including family members with whom I can discuss spiritual, esoteric topics (That’s one reason I utterly love and cherish this blog♥️). But that hasn’t stopped the learning or the spiritual experiences from happening. I think we have to stop seeking to meet our needs from others and instead look within ourselves.

Tejaswini ji is absolutely right when she says there is no point in living in past, however good it was. It only makes you more sad, wastes your energy and does not achieve anything. You can try taking the Bach Flower Essence ‘Honeysuckle’ – it will help heal your emotions. Add 2 drops in your glass of water and drink it. Take it for 15-30 days, till whenever you stop brooding over old times. Bach Flower essences are just flower essences, they have no side effects. You can get them in any shops that sell homeopathic medicines. Buy it in a drop bottle container so that it is easy to pour it in drops. Please note that adding more drops of a flower essence in water doesn’t mean better or quicker results – flower essences don’t work that way! So just add 2-3 drops in your glass or jug of water and drink them.

      Best regards

        Hi there
The pics of the flowers also work and in a pinch you can write the name of the flower on a paper and keep it in yr pocket.
The system is very effective for emotional issues.

Neel, understand the feeling😉 Been there done that. But don’t stay in that brooding state for too long, more so if you have a tendency to brood!

Tejaswini ji, you are an absolute treasure ♥️ That one sentence you wrote is priceless♥️ I had never heard about this tip before! And I had read about Bach flower remedies quite a lot in the past. (This was after I did Reiki-1). And I have used some of those essences for myself and my pets in the past – by adding few drops in drinking water. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏻♥️

    Hi Madam,
I have a questions regarding your post on the “giving away” with awareness what Ketu signifies for your chart.
    https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/08/15/ketu-your-instinct-is-the-perfect-remedy/

I understand (and intensely experience myself) that there is an inherent apathy, lack of interest associated with the house that Ketu is placed in. But in remedies you suggest to somehow challenge this lack of interest in these aspects and to do sort of “opposite” of what the natural instinct is.
I do not understand why/how this satisfies Ketu (as it is being/doing opposite of what HE is trying to make us do by his specific placement). Could you kindly explain and point out what I seem to be missing. For example, my Ketu in 11th house (Aquarius), I have never been interested in friends, social networks, anything social since childhood although I am fully capable of making friends and being actively involved in a flourishing social life if required (have done it off and on, but never willingly maintain for long, because I have no genuine interest). I have no elder sibling. From the advise you have given, I am interpreting that I should be actively trying to maintain social interactions/networks/ friendships in my life, to satisfy / balance influence of Ketu. I am not clear on this part…is it not that Ketu’s influence “wants” me to remain unsocial? so would not going against that displease him? To clarify, I am very happy and not lonely in any way…I am very spiritual and meditate, that is the main central focus of my life since childhood. Thank you for anything you can say to resolve my understanding in this regard. In case it helps you to understand my question better, my 5th house is crowded (with Sun, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Rahu). Do I really have to maintain superficial friendships (even though I am least interested) to best manage this placement? Thank you so much for your time!

      Hi there
if you are oriented towards the inner world then yes you do not have to do anything.

but if you are required to live a reasonably well balanced life in the society, the you have to do it.

generally these two are mutually exclusive.
      so choose.

Thank you for your answer! I see what you mean. I would much rather invest my time in meditating/reading anything spiritual which gives me genuine happiness, than investing my time and energy into cultivating friendships and social networks.
But when I asked the question I was concerned if this imbalance would also affect all “gains” in general including spiritual gains (in addition to the social/friends aspect signified by the 11th house) and affect multiple other planets in the 5th house (so basically affecting many different aspects of my life through Ketu’s influence on 5 other planets), to address that/manage that better, I wondered if I would need to follow what you have suggested in the post about balancing Ketu’s “giving away with awareness”.
Your reply seems to indicate that I need not bother doing anything specific (against my natural instincts) to balance Ketu’s influence, if inner life is what I choose (which I do). Thank you!

    Hi Madam,

There are 2 days when we perform the yearly shraddha of departed people, once on the same tithi in pitru paksha and once of actual kshay tithi as per lunar month, when the death occurred ( which is not in pitru paksha). Now i can’t attend it on both days, so which one among these is best one?

    Hello Mam-
Yesterday night I had a dream where I saw a huge King Cobra looking at me from a distance. In my dream, I wanted to share this information with my brother. As I stepped out, there were several really long snakes in the road and a black one bit me. I actually ‘felt’ a sensation in my leg and woke up.
Because I have pitru dosha in my kundli, I usually always offer my respects to the Pitru devatas during my daily puja during the Pitru paksha days. But this time I forgot and so I think maybe this was a reminder. Am I interpreting this correctly?

    Regards and thank you.

      Hi there
common meaning is to ensure that the asc deg chosen for an auspicious activity is perfect.
it is used to decide on the best muhurt esp for marriages.

it is also the process by which the asc degree is refined to the greatest precision. fr this ideally the time/date/location of conception is necessary.
otherwise you have to go with the more tedious method of tallying the events from the past and with the divisional charts.

    About your article on narcissite.

I am a doctor, specialist in psychosomatic medicine and emotional trauma. I have maintained a relationship with a woman with narcissistic and borderline personality, whom I have tried to help her by all means.

I began to deepen my study in Jyotish to try to better understand her personality and I discovered many elements in her birth chart that confirmed her psychological diagnosis, from my modest knowledge:

Ascendant in Leo. Sun in the 9th house, exalted, and with a shadbala of 1.98, it is the strongest planet and is its atmakaraka. Saturn debilitated in house 9 to 20 degrees from the Sun. Moon in 8th house, waning, at 9 degrees from Rahu and 5 degrees from Venus, which is exalted in Pisces. Jupiter, retrograde, in the 2nd house, at 3 degrees of Ketu and aspecting the 8th house. Mars retrograde (yogakaraka) in the 4th house and aspecting Mercury in the 10th house.

In her Navamsha, Ascendant Scorpio with the Moon in the 1st house, debilitated. Sun Venus in the 2nd house, 16 degrees apart, aspected by Mercury and Saturn in the 8th house (6 degrees between them). Mars retrograde and Jupiter retrograde house 3 (8 degrees apart). Rahu in 10th house, Leo.

Mahadasa de Sun Venus from February 2022. Since the transits of April (Rahu over his Sun in Aries, Jupiter in the 1st house from the moon and Saturn in Aquarius, the first phase of his Sade Sati, in the 7th house from her Ascendant), She has begun an escalation of emotional dysregulation, egocentrism, confusion, handling, accusation, devaluation … which has finally ended with the breakup of our relationship of 5 years.

Thank you very much for your time and your wonderful blog.

    Ma’am,

    1. What is the energy significance of Tamarind? As a tree, it is connected to negative stuff, but as a fruit/pulp it is considered healthy and with positive benefits in cooking?

    2. Rice is said to be wholesome only when the Sun is out, after sunset, sadhakas avoid it as it turns into ‘soma’, intoxicates, induces sleep if eaten at night, except for its milder versions like idli, dosa. I also noticed that ‘soma’ has connections to moon. Couldn’t help wondering if that was the reason.

    Namaste Respected Madam,

Deep gratitude for whatever it is that propelled you to make the decision of writing this blog. You have touched so many lives in a positive way! I also came here to ask a similar question about rice and wheat since they are our staple food. Now I’m rethinking if they were ever our staple food. From your comment I’m guessing not. We don’t have any people who own cultivable land. Would you be kind to let us know what was our staple foods and what did we cultivate centuries ? Did we subsist on a variety of millets? the so-called ancient grains?

    Thank you Ma’m.

      Hi there
wheat was grown in limited quantities but only as cattle feed.
my grandmother used to say that serving wheat chapatis was considered to be an insult.
our staples were jowar in summer and bajra in winter, ‘Bhakari’ in Marathi, eaten with ghee of desi cow milk.
      and millets.
our nation is majorly dryland and suitable for millets.
rice and wheat are not our staple foods. rice requires too much water and wheat needs too much of fertiliser. plus both are very heavy to digest.

Recently i met with a very senior and very learned couple from TN, and they were suffering from several health issues. the root cause was all that rice eaten all the time for a lifetime. but that Auntie recognised barnyard millet and said that when she was a child her mother used to make several dishes with this.

we did not ‘subsist’ on millets.
there are several delicious recipes for millets including idli, dosa, vada, thalipeeth, pulao, upma, and even kheer with millets.

      Hi there
I have said this several times and in the kindest way possible that I do not interact with anyone on a one to one basis.
There is a very typical reason for this rule and I will not change it for anyone.

And I have stressed this several times that I, as in the individual, am not important.
The message is important, which I have written in depth in this blog. I can answer genuine questions but only through the blog. I am not seeking friends or clients or any sort of one to one connections via this blog. I am very busy in my life and I really have no time for this blog or the people who read it/ ask questions but still I try because of my Guru’s ajnya, and only for that, no other reason. Only for passing on what he has taught. Nothing more than that.

      I am a student of pure Vedanta. I use … चित्तशुद्धि ममोपात्त समस्त दुरितक्षयद्वारा श्री परमेश्वर प्रॆत्यर्थम् ज्ञान वैराग्य सिद्धर्थ्यं कररष्ये .. as my Sankalp. And not … धान्यम् धनम् पशुं बहुपुत्रलाभम् शत संवत्ससरम् दीर्घं आयुः etc etc ..

So this is again in the kindest way possible. Do not let your Mind run away with you. If you do you will not be able to move ahead on your spiritual path.
Think of your own Self, do your Sadhana.

        Hi Madam,

I am curious about two things in particular
        1)
if a person becomes more and more spiritual then, does he also become less and less individualistic? Meaning the one-one relationships do not interest that person anymore?
Like the person’s personality/traits get dissolved and he/she is not a person anymore but more of a tatwa or a quality or someone working on autopilot, like e.g. satwikta etc . You too have mentioned this via various comments that you have programmed yourself.
I have heard similar thought process through a video by some of religious people too, hence was curious.

if it is so, then wouldn’t the person’s family life be ruined? or then his family members will also be of similar category? means they could related with this person?
        2) i was also thinking of posting similar comment like this person. that some of the readers of this blog are very much curious about you, as a person, and would like to meet you if you permit, not one-one basis but as a group. Not for readings of any sort or anything, but just for the sake of curiosity. will it be possible anytime?
would be very very very grateful

        thanks

        Hi there
what do you mean by ‘individualistic’?

my personality has certainly not ‘dissolved’. my concepts are very clear.
i am not interested in one-one interactions with random people.
there are only 4 people in my life who are on a similar intellectual plane as i am and with whom i can discuss things one-one
3 are from my own family and 1 is my best friend.
and i have a working relationship with other extended family members.

i do not run on autopilot 🙂 i have a very clear logic, i take decisions.

once you start understanding the subtle vastness of the Vedant, you see a strange shallowness? hollowness? in the regular people around you, which does not allow intelligent conversation or meaningful interaction.
eg i cannot talk about movies or gossip or social chitchat. my mind does not feel inspired to do this small talk. i can if i have to, but i prefer not to.

i am not “religious”. I follow the Vedant ie the Sanatan Dharma’s Uttar Mimansa.
        i have not ‘programmed myself’.
my mind has been shaped by my Guru’s pravachans, all on pure Vedant.

why should you be curious about me as a person?
this is not good. i do not appreciate this.

i do not meet anyone either one-one or in a group. there is no need.
the blog already has a lot of stuff. and i answer the genuine questions posted on it
        that is enough.

        Hi Madam,

        thanks for reply.

I can totally relate with this statement “once you start understanding the subtle vastness of the Vedant, you see a strange shallowness? hollowness? in the regular people around you, which does not allow intelligent conversation or meaningful interaction.”

i have not read vedanta but i can feel it. the usual crowd one is surrounded with, is interested only in basic sensual needs like anna, vastra, nivara, etc. in fact the people much older than me, and close to retirement also seem engrossed in this rut, at max they are thinking what to do after retirement !

may be the path via which i reached there is not smooth, because i had failures at professional/personal front which led to disillusionment, but i guess it doesnt matter. you can either reach this disillusionment via experiencing the success/fame/ good sides of life too much ( e.g. celebrities who had everything still were unhappy , e.g. marylyn monroe) and then realizing that there’s something beyond ( but don’t know what that is) or by failures. isn’t it?

so when i observe the circle of people around me, i hardly found somebody in the same boat as me. people i discussed this with told me that you are just depressed because you had these kind of experiences and it is common, and you should change job/city etc and your life will be back on the track. I thought about it. i mean i can change the surroundings but i can not go back to the earlier state and be content with the usual package of good job+ good city+good spouse= happiness/satisfaction, isnt it? it’s like entropy, once increased, it can not be decreased. once you see and know the superficiality of everything, you can not undo it. even if you try, there is always part of you which has seen and known the vanity of it and wants something different/ something more/ something beyond.

So, i dont see a role model person as such in real life. so i can not connect with anyone else in the deeper sense, like the conversations you have mentioned. it’s all superficial/working relationship, even with family members. may be because i am introverted nature and no close friends too.

and i partly turned to spirituality, followed one person but was not satisfied as he was public image/not reachable mostly. so it was one way street. I saw/read your blog. and came to know that you have answers of everything. and it is logical to think that one can have answers only if one has actually gone through paradigm of situations which normally people go through in different lives. means only super set can know (realised/evolved person) , subsets ( different human beings/emotions etc). so i was/am curious about you. is it wrong? i dont know.
you have seen matrix right? it’s like, i feel like agent smith, meaning i can relate with all the regular folks. it’s like different permutation and combinations of same sensual desires, i can know what moves them.
and i feel like you are mr anderson/neo in this matrix. 😀 who has figured out the matrix and is surviving happily in this matrix.

i know you have family and personal life so, should not bother you with such stuff. but, i see no body else, absolutely no body who i would rather want to be like. sure there are people who are good at some particular things but they cant be role models, isnt it?
i see you as an immensely advanced aspirant ( i mean it is evident from your own comments about breath e.g. If it is 7angula, your vision will change, seeing into the past, present, future, parallel is possible now.
you mentioned that when you meet a person, you dont see him as a person but rather in different time frames)
so hope you are not angry if i feel like interacting 🙂
i know you wont allow it, some other time then.
sorry i drifted and wrote many random things,

        thanks,

i do not encourage any personal contact with me. i do not appreciate personal comments on me. just because i write a blog does not mean tht i have given anyone that liberty.

and you should not want to be like me!
that is why i have put a page on my Guru and my Guru parampara. wrote several posts on the Guru. that is the example that everyone should aim for.

if you really want to make sense of this world or the Self then you have to read books by Adi Shankaracharya.

        Hi there
Whenever you do any Vedic karma, ie the nitya karma, naimittik karma, Smarta karma, Anushthans, pujas, etc you are supposed to tell the deity why you are doing this karma. This is called the Sankalp, the intention behind the action/karma that you are doing.

There are two options for Sankalp.

        1. Material happiness – pravrutti lakshanam karma – basically attainment of Pitrulok, Dev lok or Sagun Brahma.
If you observe your Brahmin during pujas he will start with “Jambudweepe, Bharatkhande etc…. and then come to धान्यम् धनम् पशुं बहुपुत्रलाभम् शत संवत्ससरम् दीर्घं आयुः etc etc. ie the intention/ Sankalp for wealth, prosperity, having children, living a long healthy life etc etc. he will define the fruit/karmaphal of the puja/vedic karma and the deity will grant you this at the completion of the puja.
This is the Gruhastasharami Sankalp and we all do this very regularly.
even when you go to temples you have to request the deity to grant you a job, or marriage or children or money etc. otherwise the deity will not know why you have come to do his/her darshan.
you have to first ask only then you will get what you have asked for.

        2. Chittashuddhi – nivrutti lakshanam karma – if you choose this then you are on your way to the self. In short you are asking for the deity to purify your Chitta ie the very depths of your mind. In simple words you can ask the deity “to purify you in the most loving way possible”.
        This is the Sanyasashrami Sankalp.

Karma does not give Atmajnyan. no puja no deity no anushthan no nitya karma no naimitta karma no smarta karma will give you Jnyan. these karma can only take you up to chittashuddhi.
After chittashuddhi, you need a Guru, to prepare you to receive the Atma Jnyan and then give you the the Atma Jnyan and then you need to continue in this Atma Jnyan state and this final stage is called Jnyan Nishtha. that is the final ‘enlightenment’, mukti.

I don’t know if this Sanskrit line is from a formal text.
i had read it in a book long ago and tweaked the words to convey what I want.
        ममोपात्तसमस्तदुरितक्षयद्वारा श्री परमेश्वरप्रीत्यर्थं ज्ञानवैराग्यसिद्धर्थ्यं (whatever.. puja, anushthan, japa etc.. karma that I am doing) करिष्ये …
        It broadly means चित्तशुद्धि …
समस्तदुरितक्षयद्वारा by the destruction of all the difficulties (obstacles in my natural and smooth movement towards myself), which I perceive/feel ममोपात्त, I am doing करिष्ये (this karma.. ) for achieving सिद्धर्थ्यं the pure love of the Parameshwar/ Eternal Self श्री परमेश्वरप्रीत्यर्थं and perfectly understanding the knowledge of the Self ज्ञान and achieving the ability to discard all unrealness वैराग्य .
You can write your own words if you know Sanskrit.
But after saying this Sankalp you cannot go back to ‘धान्यम् धनम् पशुं बहुपुत्रलाभम् शत संवत्ससरम् दीर्घं आयुः etc’ ..
The nivruttilakshanam Sankalp once taken sincerely is the closure of the pravruttilakshana sankalp. i have asked for Jnyan and Vairagya. i cannot again ask for Ajnyan and Moha.

Now how do you know if you are prepared for Nivrutti?
Ask yourself these two questions and analyse your own answers.
        1. Am I am dependant on anyone outside of me for my emotional happiness?
        – The answer will be …. yes! My mom, my dad, my husband, my wife, my children, my teacher, even the guy who drove my cab to work today, my staff who was supposed to finish the assignment that I had given him a week ago, my boss and so many many more… etc all influence my emotional happiness.. or even my lipstick, or the way my dress looks on me, or the new shoes I bought or the money that I have in my bank account….. the list is endless..

Now that you know that you depend on things outside of you for your happiness and you have accepted it, ask yourself this second Q…
        2. Am I willing to learn to depend on only my own self for my own happiness?
        – If this answer is a strong and solid ‘yes’ then you are a spiritual aspirant, otherwise you are not.

        Hi Madam,

Sorry that my comments made you angry/irritated you. I thought about it more and remembered the example of cup and ocean you have given. Even if we do get the opportunity of meeting you/any other being further on the path of realisation, we wouldn’t know what to say/do, so first step has to be to increase the capacity through books you mentioned and Sadhana. We have to increase cup size. May be then later on, if we are worthy, we may get the opportunity.

I was thinking that you are ok with interacting with people as you live in public domain because of job so are used to it.

Now the query i had, you have mentioned that we should do the small shraddha/tarpan on sarv pitri amavsya and that too when when sun+moon are in Virgo.
As virgo symbolises the debts we owe, so if we perform these rituals on that particular time frame it will be even more beneficial/effective. Is it the logic behind it?

Also, the coconut to be dashed, has to be done in house or terrace of apartment is also ok?

        Thanks

of course i am ok with interacting with people! i interact with at least 100 different persons in a day. i am a regular person, i work, go shopping, travel, drive etc.

several reasons, but this is also a good one.
break the coconut wherever you are doing the rituals/ tarpan.

It hurt me tremendously and I have tried dana etc since then, but wish to do something more on 24th or 25th Amavasya. I read post and answers about tarpana etc but it requires male relatives which is unavailable . Is there any way in which I can do some remedy…I am desperately wanting to do something and where can I turn to but you for guidance…..

      Hi there
If you are married then your husband can do it.
(eg my parents had gone to Brahmakapal and my maternal grandfathers tarpan etc was done by my father here. it had reached him as later he came in my mom’s dreams and thanked her.)

or if you have a genuine Brahmin, you can discuss it with him. it can be done by the brahmin on your behalf.

Want to read Saptashati in this navratra. There are 13 adhyay, so all these supposed to be read everyday or what is the ideal way to read? any specific rituals/rules to be followed?

most of these navratri days I will be away from home for work. Should this be a concern?

        Hi Madam,

you have mentioned that the true power of navvarna and eventually saptshati is possible only if 9 lac repititions of navvarna are done.
So, better to start with that first from tomorrow’s auspicious day OR actual saptshati book adhyay OR both partly if possible?

Also, if i dont have the “aasan” made as mentioned by you, then its better to first get it ready and then only begin any serious sadhana ( i mean anushthan of any mantra) right?
Also, if i dont have any idol/photo in front of me during sadhana and i am changing places some days, then will it be compensated by intention, right?

        thanks

    Hi,

I recently ( over the past 8-9 months) developed a mole/mark under the ring finger of my right hand and I am trying to determine what this means. I had thought that beginning spiritual practices/mantra eventually gets rid of these moles so I was concerned when this one popped up.

Someone had previously asked about moles/marks on the palms and I believe that you had recommended a book but I can no longer find the comment. Could you please provide the name of the reference? I have a book called Astro Palmistry by Mihiracharya but the version that I have only discusses birth marks and not marks on the palms.

    Many thanks!

      Hi there
the technical definition of ‘yogi’ is something different.
so i wll use the word ‘atmajnyani mahapurush’ or ‘jivanmukt’. at this stage of self realization you destroy the sense of the individual soul/jivatma.

you live your life inside your Mind.
so you destroy the Manas, and all the other tattvas of creation. these are all illusions.
only then can you realise the Atma.

eg you think you are fat – but no, your Sthool sharir has this property of fatness.
you think you are feeling unhappy – but no, your sookshma sharir has this property of unhappiness
you think that you are ignorant – but no, your karan sharir has this property of ignorance
you think that you know – but no, the chidabhas has the property of this ‘know-ness’.. Chid-abhas is broadly the jiv portion of the jivatma.
so by the time you reach the reach Atma you realise that there are no attributes left! you are the Self.
as you study the vedant, you learn to assign these attributes to their proper locations and then you realise that You the Self the Atma has no attributes. this is the gist of the vedantic study. but to understand and to practice this requires a lot of effort.

you will have to read the Vedant or books by Advaita Guru s like Adi Shankaracharya.
if you are still at the Puran level, then first read the Mahabharat. buy the Gita press volumes.

What’s the least you can do, he has mentioned.

Also, one more observation, if you are reading for the first time, better read translation first, you will get the context and sanskrit reading may become little easier, if you have introduction of it earlier.

      Hi there
It is a story fr regular people.

But there are other ways of ‘translating’ it as Sanskrit has thousands of meanings depending on ur level of understanding/decoding.
The first shlok of the first chapter can also b translated as ‘this is the method in which the beej Hreeng is to b used.’
Thts why i wrote my post on the Devi mahatmya with the title’the story of hreeng’

      People have forgotten ‘Om’
And ‘Hreeng’ is equally powerful and more capable of being actively used. Regular people today dont know tht beej mantras even exist.

Dear Tejaswini Ji: This is an incredible blog with a wealth of insights. Thank you for writing and sharing your knowledge with us.

My question is: how do we keep steadfast in faith, when our environment presents hurdles? Changing environments is not an option at the moment.

My family is not as “spiritually inclined” and criticize/make fun of me for keeping mantra jaap/abstaining from meat. I grew up in a Hindu family.

I left home at a young age, and it’s been 13 years- I’ve just returned back (one year ago). When family and friends inquire about my relationship status: they’ve lied about my relationship state (that I’m in relationship with someone) when in actuality I am single. When family friends come over, they just say I’m out of town. Or they constantly compare me to my “peers” who are now married and are having children. It feels like I’m burden/embarrassment to them.

Ironically, a lot of the patients I see are families who have children with disabilities and it my journey seems to parallel that of my patients. (Some parents hiding their children because of their child’s physical disability).

I’ve asked them to help me find someone, as arranged marriages are customary in our culture, but they’ve also stated at my age (early 30s), it would be very difficult to find someone unless lying about my chart and caste. I definitely do not want to do either.

For contextual reference, I’m a physician. Right after I finished my post graduate training (last year) I felt the desire to be in a committed relationship/marriage- I started these remedial measures earlier at the beginning of this year.

On one hand, there’s a bit of disillusionment that I haven’t come across someone where both our energies align. I see marriage as an opportunity for spiritual growth, amongst other things- it’s important to me have intellectual/emotional connection with someone. My family states that these expectations are not realistic for the times we live in.

On the other hand, the opinions of my family seem to drain the energy out of me to the extent it is hampering with my work productivity.

When I’m away from home, it feels easier to keep them at bay- and I’ve flourished career wise, including my artistic pursuits. (Venus AK, gave me several opportunities in media/acting/modeling) However, when I’m at home, it’s a constant battle: within myself, with them, and my energy is quite stagnated.

They question me and ask: if the remedies worked, you would have been married by now. I know remedies are not a quick fix solution, but can redirect/lessen certain karmas.

Your blog has helped keep me sane. I’d be grateful for any additional guidance you may have for me. Thank you.

      Hi there
Daily practice. 10mins sincerely in the morning /evening and not as a task, u r not a machine. This is because you love your deity and have faith/shraddha that he/she loves you in return.
Do everything because you love the deity you adore. Leave it to him/her, ie always ask for ‘prasadsiddharthyam’ or ‘preetyartham’.

Ask your parents to look for a match as per your family / culture.
Or if you have someone you know from your work etc and think that the person is suitable then you can take the decision yourself.

If you have done an activity with a specific intention in mind then it has to work.
      1+1=2 always.

      Hello Mr/Ms INQUIRER,

I would like to convey my perception as per my limited knowledge if ma’am permits it.. if it’s not worthy comment could please delete it mam.. 🙏🏻

I don’t know why but I’m suddenly drawn to read and reply to your comment..

“””My family is not as “spiritually inclined” and criticize/make fun of me for keeping mantra jaap/abstaining from meat. I grew up in a Hindu family.””””

      👆🏻👆🏻
That’s okay let them make fun of you as well as just feel proud of yourself as you chose this noblest path..

“””they constantly compare me to my “peers” who are now married and are having children. It feels like I’m burden/embarrassment to them.”””

      👆🏻👆🏻
If I understood correctly, you are getting some discomfort/pain from your family..
In your chart check 2nd, 4th, 10th houses and moon, sun placements and venus for relationships.. anyways as we humans took birth means we have to face both positive and negative things..

Life is never fair to anyone.. Some get hurt from parents, some from spouses/kids/friends/in-laws/friends etc etc.. again it’s all we chose when we were born.. So first we have to forgive ourselves for choosing this kind of discomfort..🤦🏻‍♀️

“”””Ironically, a lot of the patients I see are families who have children with disabilities and it my journey seems to parallel that of my patients. (Some parents hiding their children because of their child’s physical disability).””””

      👆🏻👆🏻
Maybe these kinds of people want to give more importance to their status in public or are afraid of any insults.. again it’s their own battle in this birth.. people might get true wisdom when they really realise as early as possible that we always have people*above us* and *below us*

“”””they’ve also stated at my age (early 30s), it would be very difficult to find someone unless lying about my chart and caste. I definitely do not want to do either.

. I see marriage as an opportunity for spiritual growth, amongst other things- it’s important to me have intellectual/emotional connection with someone. My family states that these expectations are not realistic for the times we live in.”””””””

      👆🏻👆🏻
Age is just a number.. it’s better not identifying yourself with age until you meet your soulmate.. having good/decent/minimum wishes for a soulmate is completely fine.. if anyone discourages you just act as a deaf person, don’t listen to them..

And just try to understand your 7th and 8th house of chart. Is there any delay in marriage? etc etc..

“”””They question me and ask: if the remedies worked, you would have been married by now. I know remedies are not a quick fix solution, but can redirect/lessen certain karmas.”””””

      👆🏻👆🏻
If any child cries for a match box mom won’t give it right ? As mom knows that it might hurt him.. but the child feels unloved, unwanted and so sad.. but it’s for his own good only.. he will understand that later in life.. in the same way sometimes we might get some delay from our favourite deity’s response.. it doesn’t mean that deity is not loving us it’s just that time hasn’t come yet that’s it..

Here you have superb clarity that remedies sometimes may not give immediate results.. that’s great to have this kind of strength and knowledge.. it’s just that your family interference in your belief system is disturbing you so much.. whoever they are let them speak anything as we cannot stop them.. but just stop giving importance to their words.. it’s not your duty to make them realise the importance of sanatana Dharma.. when time comes they will realise..

Knowing astrology and gaining knowledge simply doesn’t mean that we never get problems and we get whatever we want in life, but it surely strengthens our mind and our acceptance capacity will be increased.. we can take life as it comes..

“”””My question is: how do we keep steadfast in faith, when our environment presents hurdles? Changing environments is not an option at the moment.”””‘

      👆🏻👆🏻
And finally how you made yourself to choose this noblest spiritual path staying in the same environment in the same way you can strengthen your faith.. Just trust your process.. you came all this way.. you are not alone and you found this blog means you are already super lucky and have immense support from your favourite deity.. 😍

All these problems, emotions, feelings, solutions everything is created by Devi mahamaya.. it’s all her game.. she can make us feel for an emotion, if we get it we remember her in the name of gratitude, if we don’t get it we go to her with pain.. so in every situation Devi mahamaya is constant.. ✨✨

I heard that during navratri she will be very pleased to bless her kids in the kindest way possible.. 💗💗

I wish you good luck in your spiritual way..✨✨

First and foremost, do consult a medical professional for getting out this stress. This is a typical post traumatic stress disorder PTSD type of a condition in medial language and there are professionals who have been trained and have specific ways/counselling etc to help relax the mind.

This below is a general observation, which you may or not feel to be useful. It is not a personal consultation in any sense.

The departed one is a pitru for you and your family. So you are required to perform pitru tarpan/ pindadaan regularly as per your family’s customs. This is all that this jivatma needs from your family now onwards. (The yearly tarpan on Sarvapitri Amavasya is compulsory. But there can be additional tarpans during the year as per the family customs, so ask your Brahmin).

For your other child, you can perform special anushthans, kamyakarma etc as per the advice of your Brahmin/Jyotishi etc.

But as a Nityakarma, ie daily puja activity, it is advisable if the parents do the following.
      1. Worship of Shri Baal-Gopal. keep a small silver moorti, ie the one where a small baby is shown crawling on the ground holding a sweet in his one hand. Basic regular puja to be offered, ie kumkum flowers etc.
      2. Recite that one line mantra of Devi Santaan Laxmi in addition to your daily pujas.
      3. Worship of Shri Maruti. If you have his temple near your house then go there every Saturday with your child (boy/girl) and offer oil into the lamp in his temple. Or if you have his moorti in your puja ghar then light a special oil lamp for him every Saturday.

And the worship of the Kuldevata. This deity is the foundation energy which will add energy to everything that you do. Make it a point to perform all the pujas connected to this deity sincerely.
Daily regular practice is the most effective remedy for all problems in life.

Every boy – child from the age of 6yrs must take up the Gayatri/ Yajnopavit. If your family has some typical customs regarding the Yajnopavit, then follow them.

The point is that all children (both boys/girls) above the age of 6yrs must compulsorily recite one mantra daily. And not by force.
Teach them with love and by your example. If you are giving Surya Arghya, giving water to Tulasi, doing your pujas, putting kumkum, offering flowers, doing Aarti, showing Naivedya, then eating that Prasadam etc. then the child will also do all this and very happily.
The Gayatri mantra, Mahamrutyunjai mantra, the Ganapati Atharvashirsha or any Maruti stotra eg Anjaneya Bhujangam by Adi Shankaracharya has a very beautiful rhythm.
Teach your child one stotra which he has to recite daily. Initially he may not want to or pronounce it wrong etc. but you have to teach him with love and pure intentions in your heart. It will increase his strength, something to hold to in his heart always. The child must be taught to give 5-10 mins in the morning and evening for this daily practice, but always with love and for the love of the deity. He must really love a deity from the bottom of his heart. Know that this one deity /this mantra/ this stotra is always with him and keep him safe. This is the real meaning of Sanskars which the parents are required to give their children. give them this lifetime gift of faith/shraddha in a deity.

And your condition is the same as Arjun’s.
Extreme despondency caused by the pain of death of loved ones.
      So read the Bhagwat Gita.

There are 2 types of Gurhast people as per Bhagwan Krishna.
      1. Karmi – all who are worried about material things, son, daughter, husband, wife, money, health, land, etc, a never ending list. This is all the Gruhast people who do Nitya karma, kamya karma, prayacshitta karma etc with the focus on themselves. “I want money, I want children, I want a job, I want health, i want my child to have money, i want my husband to have a new job, … I want.. I want… “ this never stops and there is really no solution for this karmi mindset.
      2. Karmayogi – This is the Gruhast person who does all the Nitya karma but with the intention of general ‘prasadsiddhyartham’ or ‘preetyartham’ ie it is only for the grace/blessing of the deity as the deity chooses fit.
And every deity, if it is left to him/her, gives only spiritual blessings. With this ‘prasadsiddhi’ you are technically asking for chittashuddhi. and nobody does this sankalp these days. no one leaves it to the deity to decide the best blessing.
Taking the ‘I’ out of the Nityakarma is very difficult. But this is what ultimately brings mental peace. When you do your nityakarma with this mindset, for the preetyartham of the deity, you gain mental strength to handle every situation in your life with equal attitude. you are confident that whatever it is, is because your beloved deity has decided it, and you love your deity so much that it is all the same to you. you do your activities but you are not bothered about the results as both options are same to you, and the reason is because you love your deity. your deity is with you as you go thru your prarabdha karma.
This is a hard lesson for the average householder but it helps to come out of such traumatic situations. You offer everything you have including your joy/sadness to the deity and request only his divine love. That takes care of everything.
This concept might be too much fr you. But this is what Bhagwan Krishna has said and there is no better advice.
Ultimately you cannot let your mind run away with you like this. If you do so then you will miss the joy that is yours to gain from your other child.

however the first step is to seek help from a medical professional.

    Namaste Ma’am,

Often when hearing the spiritual discourses or reading the commentaries on standard Granth. It is natural for our mind to draw certain inferences or make assumptions. Ofcourse people who learn from particular teachers or Gurus can systematically learn concepts with certainty. And I understand that from your previous answers in order to accept a concept beyond doubt one must find validation on three levels,

    1. Guru
    2. Grantham
    3. At level of our own consciousness

But sometimes it takes time and efforts in right direction to confirm on levels 1 and 2. And given the fact that ours is such a diverse and heterogeneous way of worshipping is it helpful to keep an open-mind and flexibility when we encounter contrasting views. The sheer diversity and guru shishya parampara in our culture is beyond amazing.

    Thank you

        Hi there
the rule is that anything less than 1000 shloka long has to be committed to memory, eg the Bhagwat Gita or Devi Mahatmya as to be recited from memory for best results.

to really understand it you have to memorise. eg if you read the Shankarbhashya on the BG, he does not give the references, ie he expects you to have committed the BG to memory and then to read the bhashya.

it is Sanskrit, more you read/revise/ memorise it, more meanings will be evident. it is required for the final step, ie nididhyasan. without memorising it you cannot do nididhyasan in the real sense. without nididhyasan, no jnyannishtha possible.

there are 8 ways of memorising the shloks, ‘paath’ formats, this ensures that there are no errors and the material is passed on intact from generation to generation.

    Hi Madam,

    1)

We do shraddha tarpan 2 times a year, once during the tithi in pitru paksha and the other during actual lunar month and tithi when the person died, as per our traditions.

If the non pitru paksha tithi comes during navratra, then should we skip the sapt shati paath on that particular day?

    2)

This query regarding some common topic that we all follow i.e. ordering food online via zomato etc. I had read somewhere that oily food shouldn’t be carried over the bridges over river/ big water body/sea etc. as it can attract negativity and eating such food can cause health issues/some other issue. Is it correct? I recently had such experience.

    Hello Ma’am,

I came upon a different conclusion than the one generally said to be derived from BPHS and various astrological knowledge.

Saturn in 7th house or attaining dig bala is worse than weak saturn (combust, retro or debilitated) especially for marriage. The trauma and possibility of union, timely or it bringing better or desirable partner is zero if Saturn becomes all the more powerful governing the houses that it does.

So far, my personal astrologers kept telling me being a leo that marriage anyway is not gonna be great because of the ascendant but since retro jupiter is looking from 3rd house might make it better

Turned opposite. Sitting at the age of 28 with no to negligible good prospects…..already seems like a compromise if I do it. On the other hand, three people with retro, combust saturn are happily married before turning 30 and to their desirable partner. Infact even career and relationships go well for them.

Since you know all systems, for marriage do we need to focus on maybe Jaimini based karakas, Uppada lagna more than vedic and only 7th house. Has my situation been worsened cus of retro jupiter?

      Hi there
Leo asc have the following traits which make it difficult for them to commit to a life partner.
Inability or a reduced ability to share, communicate, compromise, adjust etc in a equal partnership. Too high an opinion of themselves. wanting a perfect partner (which never happens for anyone). unwilling to make the effort to think on what the spouse wants.
saturn in the 7th is in his own sign, that too Aquarius (not capricorn).
28yrs in the current times is quite a reasonable age for marriage. so if you really, practically and rationally look at the potential charts, you will get a good option. the person may be older than you 4-5+yrs or may not be so handsome, maybe dark complexion or maybe from a caste which is considered lower than yours, or maybe financially weaker than you (at present), however you will have to ask your parents/elders to find potential charts.

‘Jaimini’ is a part of BPHS, karak etc are all used in BPHS, do read the chapters. Rishi Jaimini has added more on this part of the BPHS. it is a very precise system but it requires a lot of theoretical and practical study.
before talking about Jaimini karaks, do tell me how many karaks are to be used 7 or 8? and with justification.

        Ma’am,

As per what I have read and found logical is to use seven Karakas only. Reason being, Rahu and Ketu are always 180 degree apart and behave as head and tail on an axis. Same degree, minute, seconds differ hence they should be treated as one, exercising action and reaction at the same time. 1/7 or any axis – two opposite houses woven together.

Ma’am 7 karakas. Rahu and ketu are nodes on an axis. Always at reflection of each other like Newton’s third law of motion. They are at same degree, minute and sometimes second also. Their impact should only be counted once. Cannot be treated as separate entity due to collective influence. Also, in facets of life while mother and father play different role but matru and pitru karak can work are a unit exercising influence collective influence on you and lastly, ketu is taken as a representative of salvation, moksha, spirituality which all living beings are and have to move towards from illusions that rahu govern. Rahu in this case can be eliminated.

Drishti I don’t know mam honestly. Couldn’t understand the logic behind some considering it and some do not.

at least you are clear on the karaks, always 7.

rahu is used only in very rare charts. but even if we use Rahu , we will still stick with only 7.

i do not consider rahu ketu to have aspects. wrote on it.

Ma’am is saturn in aquarius worse than capricorn like you pointed out ‘that too’. Just like I observed that the more strength Saturn, a malefic attains it is bad on the contrary what my astrologers said ‘ke aap ka acha baitha hai’

I think results are better if Saturn is combust, retro in 7th house of marriage. I saw one male, cancer ascendant with retro saturn in 7th and 12th house lord mercury aspects from first house getting married within time -29 1/2, this year. The girl is 3-4 years younger to him and not older or from any other caste or ugly/less looking than me for society to judge

Why in the case of girl where general notion is to look for male elder to you anyways, all saturnian traits are being pointed.

        Pls explain

        Hi there
Ur interpretation is as per your mindset.

I had simply meant that Saturn in Aquarius is more willing to adjust and cooperate esp for mutual gain. Saturn in Capricorn does not adjust like this.
I do not consider Saturn in Aquarius to be ‘worse’ than Saturn in Capricorn.

Check his kashta phal before coming to such conclusions based on only one ‘strength’, whatever you mean by it.

The young woman will have saturnine characters which you may not appreciate from the outside. Observe her. She will be overworked, esp after having children will unexplainably age or fall ill etc. No one can escape the 7th house of the spouse.

It is better that the saturnine traits are overt rather than covert. They are easier to handle.

if you want to analyse your own chart then follow one astrologer rather going to 10 different ones.

if you really want to get married then start the Shri sukta with that intention.

if you want to learn jyotish then do so for the love of the subject or for helping others and not for just analysing your own horoscope again and again.

        Hello ma’am,
The traits you mentioned are due to typical king like mentality (dominant)?
But especially for leo ascendant, people have controversial view regarding marriage because saturn owning 7th and 6th (dushmasthan). Anyhow saturn brings delay and, to some extent, frustrtation.
I am leo ascendant and my saturn in 6th house. Planets aspecting 7th house have negative drig bala. It is difficult to understand 7th house.

        Hi there
yes, nature is like the Sun, if the asc deg, asc lord and moon are powerful then it will help.

leo asc marriage can be good if the horoscope is good, and the partner is chosen properly. this is generally applicable for all ascendants.

saturn in in 6th house is good. esp as 8th lord he will give favourable results.
7th lord in 6th means that you should find a job where you are required to resolve conflicts. or find a spouse with this sort of job profile.

        Ma’am,

Adding to Sunny’s point of view, 7th lord in 6th in rashi chart – how is it better? Its in 12th to itself

Your have mentioned of 8th house wrongly I guess, thinking its cancer ascendant. For leo, its 6 &7

Let us know correct inference mam.

Also ma’am what is better 7th lord going in 8th house of navamsh chart or in 6th house for leo ascendant?
If ascendant doesn’t change and navamsha shows mental or subtle patterns, then does the 7th lord going in 8th shows mental problem, secrecy or hidden significances in marriage?

Is it more problematic when 7th lord goes in dusht in rashi or when it goes in navamsha?

Somehow I have a good sense of judgment…I think sautrn’s aspect on moon also contributing to this
But along with this I get dragged in to a leader position…multiple times I have observed this….although people get benefited but I suffer from terrible experience…since 2-3 years I consciously try to keep myself away from being leader…my lagna lord sun is debilitated with kashta phala 44…I suspect debilitated 10th lord also adding to it…

Someone we know recently lost their child. I have been reading your articles on death, as well as other various articles online. I read somewhere that there are tantric processes through which one can be revived the body before udhana exits. Is this true?

I remember in one of your post on mantras, you wrote that there are certain mantras to kill, to obtain a marriage of choice, etc. When one uses tantric methods to do any of these things- whether to relive a body or to obtain a spouse of choice- are these all reflected in their charts? For example if tantric methods are used to revive a body, does that mean that the chart did not actually show the end of life at that moment? Or if someone uses mantras to obtain a specific spouse, does that mean that there was actually someone else meant for that person?

        Hi Madam,

        1)

i was thinking on above topic and luckily came across below post

        https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/03/27/kundalini-the-chakras-and-creation/,

here You have mentioned the letters/alphabets of Samskrutam as Kala, so i tried to calculate the their total number, which comes out to be 52=16 (swar) + 36 (vyanjan).

searched online for more info, and found below line

“The alphabet is listed as containing different numbers of letters in various texts. It is listed as containing 43 letters in the Siva sutras. 63 or 64 in the Paniniya Siksa. 47 in the Rik Pratisakhya, 52 in the Taittiriya Pratisakhya, 65 in the Vajasaneyi Pratisakhya, and 57 in the Rik Tantra.

so, am i missing 12 alphabets in above calculation?
also, is any one alphabet shreshtha among these 64?
as you have mentioned, all consonants are created from अ:,i.e. Ka + अ:= kha and so on.. so is it अ:? or om?

        2) in atharvasheersha,

what exactly is ganesh vidya mentioned here
because literal transaltion of above is G + nasal ‘ang’= ganesh vidya

also, have read somewhere that there are actually 64 distinct kala’s like music/ cooking etc and ganpati is adhipati of all of these?

does it mean that as one’s kundalini rises and he actully becomes proficient in these 64x kalas?

        3)
the most prominent/shreshtha energy mentioned by you is Braahmi – who has jurisdiction from saharshar to muladhar. so the mythological personality Renuka is same?

        4) the gist i could get is as one progresses spiritually, he is challenged in some way or the other. you have given example of being arjuna and challenges being kaurav army. what common challenges one faces generally apart from the literal battle like this? i mean it depends on person to person ? like e.g. a person born christian will see himself going through the plight/dilemma of Jesus? or one who has not read any religious text will have his own challenge?

also, the names like hakini/yakshini/dakini are names of different beings in addition to states of vibration at that chakra. means in real life , these beings are 100 % that natured? e.g. being called Raakini will grant happiness, illumination, prosperity and bliss once a spiritual aspirant crosses that stage, but in real life, if some ignorant being stumbles upon them, like you have mentioned in places like himalaya’s, all these things will be taken away from them? is this understanding correct?
        5) there’s a story that yudhishthir was the only one who was able to answer a question asked by yaksha, and was allowed to drink water from a lake, while other pandava’s failed and died thereby. Now i guess it is also a rupak alankar. 5 pandava mean 5 tatwa= pruthvi to aakash, and yudhishthir being akash (highest), but i m not able to connect the dots here. the yaksh/yakshini ( meaning being/ state of being corresponding to braahmi), and akash corresponds to 2 steps lower to kaumari. but then what does the story trying to tell us?

        thanks a lot

    Hello Ma’am,

Hope you are doing well. After a good break, I came back to your blog looking for some help over a friend’s case that I am trying to help. You have written on Marriage matching, multiple spouse and ways of approaching it. My question might seem personal to you but just trying to again seek guidance on you via this case. It will be great if i can guide this friend rightfully. Atleast try my best with whatever I know

Two boys have come into her life at a difference of about 1-2 months last year. She fell in love with one and has been going strong for a year now. While the other boy whom she put on hold/ rejected via arrange marriage lives nearby her parent’s house and is stays unmarried. one panditji told her that the guy will arrive around the time these both did but given for the attributes of spouse, monthly diff she thought the first one. Her parents being unaware of the developments at her end have rekindled talks with this arrange prospects. This girl is now afraid to break the news and is in fear of’ what if this arrange guy is her husband and hence universe is pushing them together after months!’ While the love affair might just have been friendship that she thought to be serious. Kind of emotional dilemma

Now, talking of the placements and what charts indicate as per my reading (it might be clouded basis my understanding, please feel free to correct; will only take note)

Lover – 9th house Ashwani(1) moon | 7th house (sat, mars conjunct at less than 2 degrees in satabisha(2)) + Merc (dhanishta(4) – Leo Asc | This guy has Sun in 0 degree pisces (p.bhad-4) (8th house of sustenance) alongwith exalted venus in U.Bhadra(4). To safeguard 7th house Jupiter has 5th aspect but it is retro…………..Situation in navamsha depicts that 7th sign becomes capricorn hence mars is nearby its exaltation alongwith Saturn (subconscious anger) whereas physically due to combustion in rashi chart, it will not materialize for the spouse but Sun aspects from 1st house of cancer while Rahu & Ketu at cusp of 2/8. Venus and Mercury goes in Scorpio. Moon goes in Taurus. all the planets are between 330-488 shadbala. Saturn has high kashta phala

The ashtakoot milan has 26/30 points between this guy and my friend. Except for Varna(0) and Gana (0), full marks in all.

Girl has moon in ashlesha(1) and saturn in 7th in satabisha(4) and jupiter(R) being the only aspect. Mars is in ashwini(1) while venus in gemini. She is also a leo and these two are hardly 2 months apart (94 born). Her navamsha, saturn goes in 8th house and jupiter takes aquarius in 7th house while she remains a leo. Moon goes in sagi and mars stays in aries only with venus in libra aspecting 7th house. Mars is the strongest in her chart with highest ishta phala and shadbala 644 or something. Not manglik. The guy has manglik dosha but also nullification. however her 7th lord has kashta phala

Arrange marriage prospect- Capricorn asc | Moon being 7th lord in scorpio is hardly 5 degrees away from Rahu (11 house). Venus in Leo (magha-2). This 7th lord or venus being the karaka is aspected only by Saturn which is retro in 2nd house. Now coming to the power of these planets to give results saturn being the asc lord has around 35 ishta phala and 457 shadbala while venus or moon (other two imp planets for this event) have 40+ kashta phala and 368-400 shadbala. in nvamasha, moon goes in 8th house (sagg), saturn+mars+rahu in libra (6th house) and venus in taurus ascendant. in ashtakoot, close score to the above 25/36 but bhakuta dosha exists in this case (guy jyestha(1) | girl ashlesha (1)

I am thinking of suggesting her to go with the lover she is with because ashwini will have healing aspect. Their love will mentally conquer the challenges of manglik dosha or underlying issue of 7th house. Like both have saturn and guy has stellium so typical cuts typical in a way.

Am I going correct in my interpretation Ma’am? Should I warn her about something or the arrange prospect will be more beneficial than the whirlwind love. Please don’t get angry its not a personal query I just don’t want her to suffer basis a wrong assessment and the professional help she sought so far has only confused her further. plus she eats my brain all the time!!!!

Look forward to any straight, surface level even if binary remark from you. Hope you understand genuinely.

      Hi there

the man/woman shud suitable from the social/financial etc practical viewpoints/family background etc. this is the first point.

the person’s horoscope should show good longevity, children, health, also the practical things like job, income etc.
benefics having high balas and ishta score is always good. individual chart analysis.
if doshas then check if they are deal breakers or can be managed by pujas/ dana/ intelligent behaviour.

then the Gun score/ doshas etc between the two.
if doshas exist then check if they can be reduced by pujas or not?

if all this is equal for the two candidates, then then check the mahadashas which will come in the nxt 30-40yrs, see who has back to back favourable mahadashas.

if this is also somewhat equal then her life will be equally good with both.
the woman should decide between the two men. choose who feels better for her.

    Hi,

For those of us who live outside of India, in most cases, hindus will do all funeral rites in their country after a death. If we want to take the ashes to India to do those last rites, is there any harm if there is a delay in getting the ashes to water? Obviously not months but a week or so?

Also, its quite common in the US to sign up as organ donor to donate organs after death. But I read somewhere online that its best that the whole body ( all organs included) be put into the fire. Is this correct? Is there some repercussion if organs are taken out and donated?

    Thank you

    Pranams Tejaswini-ji !!
Small Question regarding Everyday practice of lighting Deep Lamp for puja purposes (Not akhand deep which is always burning) and the habit of explicitly putting out the puja lamp after the puja is done.
Some methods say we should only fan-it out to extinguish it . Some use flower dipped in milk to put-it out. Some pull the wick inside. Are these appropriate ? Could you please clarify on this
Thank you very much for your time providing wealth if info.

    Dear Tejaswinima’m,

I was going through the article on Ishta Phala and Kashta Phala. If the Dharma Trikon and Artha Trikon owners have less Ishta Phala (here it is even less than 1 for some owners) and high Kashta Phala (in the range of 30 to 60) simultaneously, will they give negative results despite being placed in favourable signs and nakshatras?

Also whenever any pitru ritual such as tarpan /shradh is done by a son or a relative who has actually harmed the expired person, is it accepted by the pitru satisfactorily? Or will he refuse to accept it and the whole process will be ineffective?

    Thanks and gratitude,
    Hemangi

yes, there will be that pinch of unhappiness.

    Hi madam,

    https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/12/08/sleeping-under-the-night-skies/

Tried this after many years, it was soothing experience.

You have mentioned that we have to sleep outside atleast once a year on kojagiri pournima as per Sanatan dharma.
If the moon light can enter through balcony fully, then sleeping inside is ok, i mean as long as we stay in the light?
also, what’s reason behind this( sleeping outside once a year)?
    Thanks

        Hi Madam,

Kojagari= ka: jagrati, who is awake. The devi is said to come down to earth from the moon on this day and see who is awake. Now, devi= moon rays.

My query is not only about kojagari pournima, but other full moons in general.
you have said that one should stay in the moon light for these days as much as possible to help balance moon related imbalances.
sleeping outside is not possible/feasible for all, on all full moons considering the social implications where one lives in apartments (people may start spreading rumors that one is doing something tantric on these days etc , here in india). so, can we derive the same benefit by staying indoors?
also, one is expected to stay awake full night on kojagari or as much as possible.

        thanks

    Dear Tejaswinima’m,

When a soul departs, he goes to the pitrulok and stays there till the next birth. In one of the answers to the earlier question, you had mentioned that “he becomes “more”…i.e. he merges with his previous births.
We might be parents to our parents in the past birth. So do we also become their pitri after we die? How does this family hierarchy work in the other lokas?
Suppose our parents take rebirth immediately after we die then will we become their ancestors while we are in pitrulok ….because we were the parents in the last birth?

Is jyotishya also comes under karma kanda..?
Studying jyotishya also cleanse our chitta..?

I have read that Vidya Adidevata exists for a vidya..

      Hi there
      read the BG.

ved have both karma/purva mimansa and jnyan/uttar mimansa interpretations. do not mix them ever, if you even think of mixing them you will be utterly utterly confused.
right now all of us are in the poorva mimansa stage, no exception.
we are all using Jyotish as a apara vidya

But..sorry ma’am..I dont understand about Apara vidya..
    What it means..?

And…I also read in Adi Shankara’s book..
It says..Words in Shastras can cause chitta bramana..
    What it means..?
We look into Shastras for guidance..for clarification..
    How can Shastras confuse us..?
All people dont have strong foundation about language in Shastras..
What’s the best way to read Shastras without chance of confusion..?

      Hi there
this is incorrect understanding of all the concepts you have mentioned.
this is the confusion which happens when you just jump from one concept to another haphazardly. without understanding anything at all.
shastra will always confuse. that is why we give emphasis on the Guru.

you cannot look into the shastra for guidance. you can only look to your Guru for guidance.
the Guru will choose the relevant darshan which suits your mind and teach you from it.
Shastra are not random bedtime reading books.

so find a Guru who will teach you as per your level of understanding.
and till then do your daily pujas, sincerely.

      Hi there
we are all gruhast ashrami people.
so we are required to follow the rules of this ashram. ie the karma kand from the poorvamimansa.

so we have to follow this sequence
perform nitya karma, ie gayatri puja, agnihotra etc as prescribed for gruhastashrami, basically the panchamahayajnya are called nityakarma.
if we are the ‘karmi’ category, ie desirous of only material stuff then the nityakarma will grant us these material stuff while we are here and pitrulok or devalok or sagunbrahmalok after we leave the body

gruhast who are also spiritual aspirants are called ‘karmayogi’ – here the sankalp is for mental strength not material stuff.
ie the same nityakarma grant chittashuddhi, ie the mind/sookshma sharir gets strong and gradually the vasana and sanskars are cleaned off.

once this happens the person is no longer a gruhast, but technically a sanyasi (by mindset at least). if he lives on as a gruhast then the same nityakarma will be performed but for lok-kalyan. this then leads to eligibility for gaining atmajnyan, then the actual jnyan then the ability to remain always in the jnyan -jnyannishtha.

      its a long journey.
so to begin with do your daily pujas.
      read vivekchudamani
and sincerely read one shlok of the BG /day. think on what he is trying to say. and if you are sincere enough you will find someone who will teach the real meaning of the BG to you.

i am not a Guru. do not ever think of me like that.

tht is why i wrote on my Guru. you can think of him as your Guru if you feel like it.
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/my-sat-guru/

or you can think of Adi Shankaracharya as your Guru
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/04/28/jagat-guru-adi-shankaracharya/

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/05/17/adishankaracharya-and-shivah-%e0%a4%b6%e0%a4%bf%e0%a4%b5%e0%a4%83/

or you can think of the Bhagwan Dakshinamoorti /Shankar as your Guru.

or you can think of any deity, your kuldevata, your ishtadevata etc as your Guru.
it is by their blessings that you are able to even think of paramarth.

2- How to insert runes in chi ball? We rub palms and then start with palm curved. Now the chi ball will break if we move hands?
