Good day Ms. Tejaswini ji,
I recently came across the concept of lattas. I learned that in my chart Mars is kicking Ketu and Sun is kicking Rahu. Interesting. I noticed that my 5th house is afflicted since the 6th house lord and 8th house lord are conjuncting 7th lord in the 5th house. I looked in your index and didn’t come across lattas.
Is this concept unimportant? If there is anything to consider, how would you suggest approaching latta in one’s chart?
Thank you for your time and insights.

Ma’am, Can you help with some possibilities over this personal reading of my chart. I read various articles of yours, BPHS for basics before putting this in front. I know you don’t do personal readings but if I am reading it correctly basis knowledge. Look forward to your guidance in understanding myself
1. I am a female with leo lagna and it is the rising in many of my sub-charts as well.
2. My asc lord sun is sitting in taurus and in shadbala (600) and its various bala breakup, ashtakvarga(35, sun gave 6) seems pretty decent with ishta phala being more than kashta.
3. My Saturn is in 7th house of Aquarius in the Nakshatra of Shatabhisha pada 4. It goes in the 8th house in navamsha of pisces. Rahu from 4th house in rashi chart, Jupiter (retro) from 3rd aspect it in 7th while mars in 9th house is getting Saturn’s 3rd aspect.
Will I not have a good marriage or difficult cus saturn might be decent but it has more kashta phala and 4 points in ashtakvarga? Does it also give breathing issue? Is it severe in later life?

1. Wealth as in liquid assets are repersented by 2nd, landed property by 4th and 8th as inheritance from partner’s side. But where to see the capacity of a person to earn wealth from job? Can we look for 8th house again ( 11th from 10th)?
2. 6th house reprents both serve/suffer or victim/ prepetrator. But how to know which of those two is the case with any particular horoscope?
3. What conclusion can be drawn from Conjunction of Lord of kendra+ kon houses? One is as you have mentioned possibly of wealth.

Hi Madam
The houses generally represent more than one aspect. So imbalance of one aspect seeps into others as well ?
E.g. A person reading chart uses 5th house. If somehow he reads bad charts/ connects with the client empathetically , causing energy linkages, then can it hurt the reader’s children ( 5th House aspect)?
Is it also the reason why some people stop reading charts?
E.g. person having issues/ toxic work culture at office, can harm father of person (10th House common aspect) ?
Thanks

Hi there
Yes.
2-3 houses/planets/rashis contribute to each aspect of life.
Only if there are at least 3 combinations indicating the result.
Seeing bad charts is not a problem.
Getting involved will create a problem for the astrologer.
Possibly. But the child’s chart also has to show the possibility.
Several reasons why people stop reading charts which may include this one.
Yes. It is possible.
But the fathers personal chart will also show stress at that point of time.

Hi Madam,
the Ganpati moorti should be shadoo only or PoP is also ok? because the PoP may get broken at the time of visarjan.
Also, can you pl name any book for normal pooja vidhis like satya narayan, ghat sthapana, gauri pooja etc. which can be done ourselver without any outside brahmin.
thanks

Hi there
best is to make a small moorti (an approximate lumpy sort of a shape) with the soil from a termitaria.
then do the pujas over it and later its visarjan in a natural water body. it is best if you do this in a water body in your own property .
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/12/05/pure-soil-and-its-use-in-pujas/
PoP looks beautiful but does not effectively absorb the energy of the mantras.
if you cannot get termitaria soil then make one with clay/shadoo or even regular mud from a natural area.
there are several books for pooja vidhi. go to a bookshop!

The raksha from the homa made by one person can be used by others in the family?
Also, if the twilight timing not possible then best time would be the hora of the concerned planet during the day right?
Btw is it ok if exceeded the 108 count of agni ghee hawan, as couldn’t sync the 108 counting on left hand for the first time.
Btw approx how much time it should take for the fire to extinguish after the 108 hawan. Because i felt it lasts almost for half an hr more. And focusing on fire for whole 1 hr felt a little too much. May have used more dung cakes.

https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/11/04/layers-of-sanskrit/
what he is clearly given in his Atharvasheersha and it is from the Athravaved. his names are a clear indication of what he is.
that is enough for me. i do not refer to the puranic stories much.
and then there is one more story.
Devi Parvati creates her small son Shri Ganapati etc. then all devatas come to see the new child, to give gifts etc. Shani bhagwan is also there but does not want to look at the child (he has been cursed by his own wife). if he looks at the child there will be inauspiciousness. but Devi gets cross and wants him to look at her son. He has to obey her and as he looks at the child, its head vanishes.
then comes the part where the head of an elephant is attached to the torso etc.
you should follow what makes sense to you.
and yes he is The Guard.
he guards the opening of the Sushumna at the mooladhar chakra.
and thts why we worship him as the pratham-pujya.
without his permission, progress is not possible.

Hi Madam,
Few things i read about this
1. one book said that we should consider the first curve where the Ganpati trunk curves rather than where it is at the ending position. Means if the trunk curves towards right side initially, then it is right sided moorti, irrespective of if it ends on the left side thereafter or keeps on right side. is it correct?
2. also, one should not keep violet/dark coloured moorti at home, they cause destruction. recently many decorations use various colours for the sake of eye catching.
you mentioned that dhoomra ketu is the current colour. can you give more info about it?
thanks and ganpati bappa morya

The trunk is turned as per the broken tusk. He is called Ekdant, and the broken/complete tusk is an indicator/ Lakshan of several things.
The red colored moortis should be worshipped with due care.
It is there in the Ganesh Puran. The forms of Shri Ganpati the different yugs are given. I dont remember the chapter, you will have to search.

Hi there
i am not learned. i too am learning.
but this is the basic foundation which everyone must follow
The Ved are the foundation of everything.
if anything is in contradiction to the ved then we either find a logical way to reconcile it. if not then we discard it.
next come the Itihas, Ramayan and Mahabharat.
if any story/philisophy from here is not as per the Ved then we will either find a logical way to reconcile it with the Ved or else discard it.
The Bhagwat Gita is from the Mahabharat so it too ultimately is as per the ved.
and then come the Puran. puran are not unimportant. but this condition has to be followed.
if any story in the puran is as per the Itihas/Ved then we will accept it.
if not then we have to either find a logical way to reconcile it with the ved/itihas or else we have to discard it.

I hope all is well. Happy to read another post from you 🙂
I had a few questions i was hoping you might be able to provide insight on. My apologies in advance for the lengthy questions. I had waited until I had a few Qs to post and ask.
1) In the midst of going through some sample charts, I have been rereading your articles on the sarpa dosh and curses. I have a chart for a cancer asc with the Rahu in the 9th house, 9th lord (jupiter) in the 8th house, the 7th/8th lord (saturn) in the 5th house, and the 5th lord ( mars) in the 6th house. Going through your posts and BPHS, this doesn’t quite fit as any of the curses/doshes listed but the effects and issues in this individual’s life are quite typical of those doshes. The closest I found was brahmin’s curse but this doesnt quite fulfill those criteria either. Is there a name for this that I am missing? In regards to the deep rooted cause of the issues, I feel that there is great significance with how interconnected these houses are in this chart but I cant quite figure it out.
2) In regards to D60 chart, if we are certain that we have the correct birthtime for the individual, in your experience, have you had success in predicting results using the vimshottari dashas and transits with the D60 chart?
3) Once the kundalini is active, is it normal to experience “surges” up the back to the head (i’m not sure how else to describe this) of energy for extended periods of time? And if yes, what triggers this? Seems to happen to me randomly.
Thank you so much for your time.

Hi there
1. Rahu in the 9th house, does not cause outright damage but he messes up things. He with create either a Sanyasi or an Adharmic person.
Any house lord placed in 12th from the house indicates a loss of the stuff represented by the house.
Any planet placed in the 8th, will cause catastrophic changes in the houses he owns.
8th lord in the 5th will cause shock therapy in the 5th. personal genius, creativity confidence etc will be affected. An erratic sort of personality which changes often.
6th lord in 8th is good.
The dharma trikon is spoilt as Saturn in 5th, rahu in 9th.
Plus the Dharmesh in 8th, unable to do much for Dharma. The yogkarak/mantresh is similarly constrained in the 6th but he is Mars and exalted so will help if the person chooses the right profession.
Saturn in a sign of Mars will give results similar to their conjunction.
Saturn and rahu both in the dharma trikon will give something similar to the shapit dosh.
Saturn in 5th house is a problematic energy in itself.
2. i do not use the D60 for dasha calculations.
i use only the D1.
3. the kundalini does not become ‘active’ so easily! waking it up and then getting it to move into the correct sushumna path is a very typical process.
if it ‘wakes’ up at a not so suitable time or enters the ida/pingala then it becomes very dangerous.
so its best that these things be attempted when sitting before a Guru.
and the kundalini won’t go to the back of the head like this. it simply cant, there is no route like this.
it has to go to the third eye, then the top of the head, all this is for the rarest of the sadhaks 0.00000001% or even rarer (and then for the rarest of the rare it will go very slightly towards the back).
most likely you are experiencing a surge of pran as you do your routine.
all i can say is to do your daily pujas and stick to your mantra till the Guru arrives on the scene to guide further.

Thank you so much for this detailed reply! I’ll go back to the articles you posted on these topics.
In regards to the spoiled dharma trikon- if the saturn in the 5th/rahu in the 9th can be similar to shapit dosh, then is this something that doing tarpan for the ancestors may help with?

It must comes from great hardwork&struggle..
I myself proof for that post..
I have Lagnesh(Mercury) +Ketu and also Sun in 1st house(Gemini)..
Moon in Scorpio..
Like said in post…In my childhood..
I used to go forest areas, hill places all alone..most of the time I used to stay in privacy..
Sometimes I used to go with friends..
Now I became more socialize and when I socialize it gives me new thrill & happiness..
But..I still feels solitude places as home..
Remaining all as same as in post..
And..yes..I still feels a lack of self is there in my personality..
I dont understand it completely..I have feeling of self..
and I want to be honest everytime..
And I’m not greedy about material stuff like others…
But..sometimes I becomes very highly greedy..
Now I’m try to improve spirituality&live peaceful life..by balancing both spiritual&material life..
I faced many troubles..may be becoz of lack of self..
I faced many people who hates me when I try to say truths..
This placement becoz of my pending karma from past..?
Did I do wrong things in my past birth…
Any future dangers&troubles possible for this type of placement..?
Is there any deity who can improve sense of Self..

To end fear I used to go into utter scary conditions…
In some sorrow conditions…after great depression I used to felt…In Night dreams I myself wakeup and observe my physical body..

One question, if you know that a love relation you will enter into will break off after a few years through circumstance beyond the two people’s control(suppose death).
Can you avoid entering into it? If you exercise free will then how will experience the good karma?

Hi there
we do not have a concept of ‘love relation’.
if you meet someone, then you should have that mental clarity on whether you want to commit to this person for a lifetime (or 7 lives as per our culture!) or not.
if you have the courage and conviction to commit for a lifetime then i would call this genuine love/ prem. this means that you have decided to merge your karma and dharma with this person. prem is a very deep emotion.
else it is just basic lust, and this has no validity in our Dharmic society.

How is a ‘love relation’ adharmic?
If you meet someone you need some time to really figure if they are even worthy of that commitment. From the time of first meeting till marriage will be called a relationship and is spent in analysing whether both are compatible or not.
yes I do understand there are relationships only stemming from lust but not all.
And even if you decide to give that 7 Janam commitment but the other person is abusive then breaking it off is the sane thing. Yes, karmas are present that is why everything is happening but standing up for yourself is never wrong.

Hi Madam,
The 4 trikons form the set of the 12th houses from each other in the reverse order. I.e. dharma trikon is the set of 12th houses for all artha trikons, same as arth is set of 12th houses for kaam trikon.
So they have to be strong and weak alternately i.e. if it ks D,A,K,M and if dharm is strong, then artha will be weak, kaam strong and moksha weak or alternate combination. So basically, if (dharma/kaam) set is strong (artha/moksha) has to be weak and vice versa.
It is seen commonly too i.e. many rich people (strong arth) are not dharmic/want moksha. And, dharmic people don’t get Rich generally as getting rich needs dabbling in activities which are not advisable e.g. corruption etc.
Also, what seem surprising that strong dharma means weak moksha and vice versa. It feels counter intuitive.
Is this analysis correct?
Thanks

Hi there
Some of your logic is flawed and some is on the right track.
yr Q is more fr the purushartha so will base it on the Ved.
Only the rarest of the rare achieve moksh or even significant spiritual progress, it is very rare. stressing this again and again.
Dharma is of two ‘types’ pravruttilakshan dharma and nivruttilakshan dharma.
The Arth and Kaam are pravrutti lakshan. Ved teaches us these in poorvamimansa . Dharma and Moksh are nivrutti lakshan purusharth and r discussed in uttar mimansa.
We take birth coz we ‘want’. And no one wants dharma or moksh at the very start. Everyone wants to play first and only after they are done, then to go home.
So first consolidate ur arth and kaam. Do everything with this Sankalp from the Rgved, ie this is also as per Dharma.. धान्यम् धनम् पशुम् बहुपुत्रलाभम् शतसंवत्ससरम् दीघशम् आयुः etc etc..
Then go fr pure Dharma and Moksh. here onwards the sankalp will change to purely चित्तशुद्धि ममोपात्त समस्त दुरितक्षयद्वारा श्री परमेश्वर प्रॆत्यर्थम् ज्ञानवैराग्य सिद्धर्थ्यं कररष्ये etc …
if you can understand or have developed some level of Vivek/Vairagya then do read the bhashyam by Adi Shankaracharya on the Bhagwat Gita. it will take a lot of time and a lot of effort but it will be so worth it.
what is ‘richness’? think on this.
i had seen Yogi Adityanath ji’s horoscope somewhere. if you can find it, analyse it.
He is a Yogi, Nath sampraday Yogi and Mathadhipati. He is a Guru. Plus he is a CM, something like a ‘King’ elected by the people every 5yrs. it is a very interesting study. so many spoilt houses but internally such a powerful horoscope.
He wants nothing thus has everything.

Hi Madam
Thanks for reply.
What i understood is arth, kaam are more of extrovert aspects, triggered and satisfied by materialistic things/events (pravrutti) and should be first concentrated on. Dharma later on and eventually moksha.
So, the general trajectory of any spiritual aspirant spanning across multiple lifetimes
1. Person aiming for worldly desires
2. Person getting those and wanting those more ( because as they say , it’s like pouring ghee in fire, you cant quench rasna and vasna).
This is a loop step. If you get those more and more, your spiritual progress will lessen.
3. a
Person realising that it is not everything, there’s more to life. This might be realised in the same life as achieving wealth , then such people donate all their wealth and turn to spirituality. Or they are born as people who by birth realise there’s more to life than artha and kaam, i e. Mumuksha, such people most probably have combinations of evolution as you have mentioned.
OR
3. b
Person not getting the desires fulfilled again and again, i.e. born in troublesome circumstances/failure throughout life on multiple front, lost hope etc. And hence they just get tired of such desires.
Here’s my query, can such aspirant progress spirituality, whose desires dont get fulfilled?
Because you can evolve spiritually only after your desires are fulfilled, and the thing is , they never get fulfilled. So , just because some people dont get desires fulfilled, can their desires just die out/vanish and they remain steady on spiritual path?
4. Person very much far ahead on spiritual path.
The above two steps nunbered 3.a abd 3. b are parallel paths right?
Yogi adinyath ji seems to be on step 3.a i.e. having everything materialistic, but realised that it’s not the ultimate. Will try to study his horoscope. I myself seem to have travelled from 3.a to 3.b , ie. Having seen both success and failures.
I actually developed partly nivritti when faced failures on academic, career, health front. Was there in hospital for a week during covid, so can say that i felt what the end may feel like.
Thanks

Hi there
Arth is also ‘meaning’. What gives meaning to the life is not just an external thing. It is very deeply internal.
Kaam is ‘desire’. The reason this world emerged. unless you understand this deeply how can you go back home?
If your desires don’t get fulfilled there are 3 options
You keep running behind them. – Very common
Or get depressed, dejected and give up. There is grief. – Very common
Or you realise the illusion behind the desires and resolve to get out of the illusion forever. – Extremely rare.
desires do not die so easily.

For example, US vice president Kamala Harris has a very strong Rahu whereas someone like UK’s Prince Charles has a weak Rahu. I have various sample charts but the patterns still dont quite make sense to me. Is there a numerical system ( maybe similar to shadbala?) that helps determine the strength of the nodes? Dear Tejaswinima’m,
I had this strange doubt in my mind after observing it in real life. But never found anybody wise to ask this…
When a person is dying, not all the people gathered around him are mourning or his well-wishers. Some might be there who are downright crooked and disrespectful but just pretending to be sad. In fact they would have brought about his downfall but the dying person was unaware of this all his life.
Now the person dies, and he leaves the body but yet is in the room. Through the instant exchange or telepathic exchange he can ‘sense’ the real, actual thoughts of these same people present there shedding phony crocodile tears, ..He sees the thoughts which are not kind about him and some downright cruel. Does the newly liberated soul feel sad about it ? or become shocked to understand what they think about him and done to him while he was kind to them? Does he help other family members who are also impacted by these people?

Why Adharmic souls gets support from Dharmic people…
Like in Mahabharat…
Its greatest Example to show How an Adharma can come by wearing Mask of Dharma(duty, rules, traditions etc..)
Adharmic Kurus got support from Great people who firm in their Dharma like Bheesha,Drona etc…
In that case…one first has to destroy Dharmic people to destroy Adharmic people..
Little bit hesitate by seeing Good people here can strengthen Bad people..then problem to natural order..
Why it happens..?
And…Its Shiva always comes to boost Asuras when they do tapas..
It seems…He cares only intensity of Tapas and dont care about Intention behind it..
But..Vishnu cares about Intention..
Even…a Devoted&Dharmic Life partner also boosts other Evil partner..
I personally saw…an Evil intended,Merciless persons can’t affect others coz lack of Power&position..
But..When once a Devoted & Dharmic wife enters into their life..they gets some unknown fortune and starts to implement their basic evil mind on others..
It’s like in puranas..Evil Asuras always backed by their Great & Devoted wives..
Why these Good people trapped & used by Bad one’s in the name of rules&traditions etc..?
LikeLike
Hi there
Moha is the root cause where so called ‘dharmic people support adharmic people’
Do not ever differentiate between Shiva and Vishnu like this. it is not appropriate. they are the same.
Bhagwan Vishnu gets into action only and only when Indradev and the rest of the devata pray to him for help.
until then he ‘sleeps’ on the Sheshnaag.
Or until there is a ‘Glani to the Dharma’.. that shlok from BG. only then he does he take his avtars.
no deity will ‘care’ about intention. never ever.
every deity ‘cares’ only about the intensity of the tapah.
sankalp is the choice of the devotee. the deity is not bothered about this. the deity will only magnify and reflect the intensity of the tapah. what the devotee does with this is his own choice. the deity is not bothered.

If Moha is the reason..
Then..they are not really Dharmic people..?

Hi There,
I am subscribed to an online astrology group where individuals learning jyotish discuss various charts. There was recently a topic that came up regarding marriage during a ketu bhukti. There were quite a few people that felt that marriage during a ketu bhukti signified that the couple has deep karmic ties/intense connections that go back several lives. The logic being that ketu is a karmic planet and thought as the most powerful graha. From that standpoint it makes sense, but ketu is also a separative planet. So then I thought- maybe its possible that the marriage could be very focused on the spiritual/ perhaps the couple could make great spiritual progress together. But I also remember one of your posts discussing that a ketu bhukti operating could also signify some sort of psychic energies being used to control the other person. Could you provide some clarity and insight based on your experiences?
The example used in the group was a couple where the female was running Ra/Ve/Ke and the male was running Ve/Ketu/Me. The couple was suitable socially but the matching score was very low. The relevant synastry was Rahu with Venus, Rahu with Jupiter, and Ketu with mars/saturn/and mercury.

I have a doubt regarding the same. When one sits quietly his breaths become slightly longer with count per minute dropping. But do the breaths for all people become longer by same manner?
e.g. I have observed for myself that generally bahya kumbhak ( duration between breathing out and next breath in ) is longer than antar kumbhak ( breath retention duration) and the same is seen even during dhyan, though durations of both increase.
I know we should not try to modify the breath in any way and let it run on its own, but just wanted to know what is ideal duration of inhalation/retention in/exhalation and retention out.

Does it also mean that all the ऋषी who did tapah of thousands of years, used this same technique of modulating breathing pattern and biologically they were not better than us in any way?
Also why does a standard tapah duration is generally taken as 12 years in almost all texts?

Hi there
The Rishi were human beings just like us.
But they had trained their body and mind to such levels that they could modulate time and space as per their requirements.
We are a very degraded version of the human body/mind.
Can you do 108 suryanamaskar? or can you touch your nabhi internally to your backbone?
Don’t compare us to the Rishis.
In the stories it is said that a Rishi did tapascharya for 50000 yrs.
This means that he sat down for 50000 years as he perceived it. He had slowed down the movement of time so that while it was only 24hrs for the regular humans around him, it was 50000 yrs for him.
The Rishi used Mantra and Oushadhi to change the speed of Time for them.
Even today there are some drugs which alter the perception of Time. These drugs are chemicals, they damage the body and the mind, they are illegal and it is not advisable to take any of these.
Time is a construct, a perception, it is not absolute. I had touched upon this in this post.
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/10/05/lessons-from-a-baby/
My early posts were in a more light hearted vein so I think most of my blog readers did not appreciate the concepts I had laid out in those.
Time is Math and Sanskrit.
Math and Sanskrit are a sign of Satvagun. Observe those people who are genuinely passionate about both these two subjects, you will notice what I mean here.
You do not really need to breathe air through the nose. Pran enters the body through all the 9 doors ‘9 dvar’ of the body but most strongly through the nose at our crude level.
The Rishis could also use the 10th dvar to draw in immense amounts of pran.
Eg. even Duryodhan went underwater for days for doing tapah.
In later stages of the Dhyan process, the pratyahar dharana etc breathing slows down and becomes imperceptible and can also stop.

Hi Madam,
1) I was reading about Saturn in below post
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/09/24/saturn/
You have mentioned an example that if one has made his wife sleep on floor , then he might find himself buying bed for someone in next birth and this person would be former wife. So this is serve case (of serve or stuffer case) , under the aspect of 6th house, right?
It may also be possible that the person will himself be made to sleep on floor on by someone (which would be formerly wife) or may not be having money to buy bed for somebody else and it would be suffer case. Is this analysis correct?
Now, will this person be given a choice between above two scenarios when either of these two cases are possible ( person well enough financially to be able to buy bed for someone else and coincidentally finding such a person) ? Because first scenario is desirable for anyone, rather than second. Or in some cases, he will have to suffer only(case 2 only, not case 1)
2) Also, you have mentioned beej Mantra for saturn as praun ( in devnagri script) where i think it is typing mistake, in English you have written correctly as prang
3) multiple places you have stressed that saturn only grants that much which the person is able to use and only after the alloted energy is used by the person. Didn’t understand this particular point. Can you please give an example in this regard.
Thanks

Hi there
karma can balance itself in all ways possible.
it depends on what the first person felt as he told the other person to sleep on the floor.
and also on what that other person felt about being made to sleep on the floor.
Suppose you have the ability to eat 2 chapatis. then saturn is not going to give you 3. he will give you only that much as you can eat. no surplus.

My query is how to empower this inner voice/gut feel/conscience for beginners on the spiritual path and how to know if we are progressing? Like our gut feeling (which are essentially contrary to popular opinion) turning out to be true?
2) i was reading about vasudevanand Saraswati (tembhe Swami) on Wikipedia as he was my mother’s Guru’s Guru. He died in bhadrapad but the thing i found surprising is that he died of black magic. Now he is mentioned as 15/16th incarnation if Dattatreya himself, so how come he had to die like that. Also, you too mentioned in many of your posts that you too faced some similar backlash. Why such cases happen with advanced spiritual aspirants? It happens only if you become popular and help someone in someway and thereby come on radar of some black magic tantrik who is causing some issue? Or it can happen to anyone who is just doing his basic sadhana and not interfering with others lives?
3) i see that almost all the sects originate from Lord Dattatreya. e.g. your Guru’s lineage originates from Revananth while Tembhe Swami is also mentioned as direct disciple of Lord Dattatreya’s lineage. Why is it so, i.e. all sects comverge at Dattatreya?
Thanks

Hi there
keep doing your 10mins daily morning/evening schedule.
and also start reading vivek chudamani. or bhagwat gita. or mahabharat (gita press only) etc.
i do not know about this Swami.
often Atmajnyani mahapurush can choose to take on the negative karma of some of their disciples and thus ‘physically die’.
it does not matter to the Atmajnyani as he knows his Reality.
disciples can think whatever they want as per their levels of understanding.
if you do tantric pujas then be very precise about things. its a very fast way of attaining the Self. sadhana requiring years is completed in a few hours.
but this very risky as the slightest mistake will damage for several lives.
‘radar of black magic tantrik’ does not happen.
that is why i stress on the Asan. sit on the Asan and do your sadhana.
the 4-layered Asan is very rare. you get it only when you become ‘adhikari’ of it.
but generally everyone can try to sit on a basic asan of 1-3 layers.
this is the foundation where you sit physically and realise your Self. do not underestimate its power.
most tantra based sampradays are linked to Guru Dattatreya.
but as far as the Nath sampraday is concerned. the first Guru Macchindra Nath was given updesh/ atmajnyan by Bhagwan Shankar himself.
Guru Dattatreya is not the original Guru of the Nath sampradaya.
all sects do not converge on Guru Dattatreya.
all sects converge on Bhagwan Shankar. he is the original Guru of everyone who is trying for spiritual development.
ॐ सदाशिव समारम्भाम् शङ्कराचार्य मध्यमाम् अस्मदाचार्य पर्यन्ताम् वन्दे गुरु परम्पराम् ॐ ॥
but it is always possible tht the aspirant gets darshan of various Guru.
these ‘different Guru’ are just various forms triggered by the desire of the aspirant.
eg someone may have been a follower of Shri Lahiri Mahashaya in a past birth but currently born in a family who follows Shri Gajanan Maharaj. it is quite possible that Shri Lahiri Mahashaya gives him darshan and guides him in this life too.

Hi Mam,
I had for many months been having dreams of snakes. After reading your posts, my father and I (i am unmarried) went to the temple and did the tarpans and shraadh pooja. I live in the US and I remember at the time, the pundit had asked why we were getting this done. My father told him that I was having dreams of snakes. Strangely, the pundit did not know the correlation and suggested that it might be something i watched on TV or read. This was at a Shiva temple. I am very grateful for your posts which explained this connection. Thank you🙏🏻
The dreams stopped after that ( my father had a dream with his mother shortly after but he took this as a good sign) but I just had a dream again last night with a small cobra. I realized this morning that shraadh started today. We do the shraadhs every year so I was unsure if this was just a reminder of sorts of if there is still something pending. My question is- in general, does something like this ever go completely go away? Would performing the annual shraadhs be sufficient or is there something additional that can be done? The pundits here seemed to not be aware of this so I would be very appreciative if you have any suggestions. Additionally, is there some reason why I would be having these dreams and not my father? If there is something specific I should be doing? Thank you!

Hi there
you may be more intuitive than your father. it doesn’t matter. the ancestral spirits can communicate with anyone in the family even if it is your father’s duty to actually perform the tarpan.
it does not go away. how can it? ur ancestors are always going to be your ancestors.
this is their due, and it has to be offered to them.
men must perform the tarpan/ pindadaan etc at least once a year during the shraddha paksh. and the women of the house must cook the necessary food items which will be offered. this is the rule.
in case you get such dreams, you can offer go gras to a desi cow, ie jaggery and chapati cooked with your own hands
if you do not have desi cows where you live, then offer this to ravens.
or if it is snakes all the time then offer milk abhishek to Shivlingam,

Hi, so for a stellium, it is clear that all energies will be focused on just one area. Does the fulfilment of that area is a guarantee?

Hi Madam,
Purely from the learning perspective, would you in near future (at your convenience) be able to write a general astrological analysis of the life of Queen Elizabeth II who recently passed away after living a very publicly documented, eventful long life. Her birth details (21st April 1926 ,2:40 am London) are accurate and all major life events are available in public records. I have been looking for such an analysis but have not come across any yet. Thank you in advance if you consider this, as I am sure this will be a helpful post for the people who read your blog regularly for learning astrology.

Hi ,
I read this blog regularly but i don’t find this suggestion ok. The whole British family exploited people throughout the world for generations and living off of their riches like vultures, and people glorifying their death and wanting to know if they could learn something from their so called eventful life is ironical.
There are numerous example to study good horoscopes. Jagannath hora software has database of them.

Hi there
celebrities generally have only 1-2 planets which give then fame/infamy and the rest of the chart/ life is in a horrible state.
once a friend put forward a random chart and asked me to analyse.
so i did, a disgusting chart/ personality. a mean minded thief. but had the supreme intelligence and charisma to sway others and steal their work. ie make it big on other people’s efforts.
and when i gave my reading on the chart my friend was shocked. then told me the name of the person. it was one of the most well-known scientists of the past century. then argued with me, said that i was wrong.
i was not wrong.
i simply sent my friend a book where the unethical behaviour and theft that this person did has been documented with references.
and today the theories that this scientist has proposed are being slowly disproved by other scientists. this person did more harm than good to the development of science. but was so charismatic that his negative side was never brought out in the open.
point is, celebrities do not interest me.
i prefer studying regular people who live around me, with whom i can interact, test my theories on and observe for years.

Hi there
Try to get the fear and guilt out of your system, so that your mind can actually work. Then it can help you instead of hindering you.
If you feel that someone is scaring you or making you feel guilty, you should reduce your interactions with this person.
I write about these things coz there are very few genuine Brahmins around now. It is actually their job to do these things, to teach and to provide a philosophical support.
The message is all important, never the messenger.
Stick to the message and practice your routine sincerely.
That is the only thing which will take you onwards to yourself.
And then you fall in love with your own Self.
That is the ultimate objective.

Hello Ma’am,
I use drik panchang almost daily..for rashipal and panchang.
(Did a google search/ index search on the blog for these 2 questions)
1. What is Ishti and Anvadhan stated regularly in the panchang?
2. Sometimes I notice some karmas stated in my daily rashipal occurs either a day before or the day after. Is this possible or am I imagining it?

Hi there
1. both are connected to routine homa activity.
anvadhan is linked to agnihotra homa
ishti is a short duration homa
both are practiced regularly in Dakshin Bharat.
2. could be that your moon is at the very edge of the sign
