Hello,
I do not need a reading, but rather some advice… spiritual advice. You seem to have legitimate knowledge… I have a malefic Mars in the 1st house in Uttara Phalguni, a debilitated Sun in the 2nd house in Swati in conjunction with a beneficial combust, retrograde Mercury, Ketu in the 4th house in Purva Ashadha (Rahu in 10th in Punarvasu), and a debilitated moon in Anuradha (2nd pada) in the 3rd house with a neutral Venus in Jyestha. Retrograde enemy Jupiter is in Rohini in the 9th house along with retrograde beneficial Saturn in Krittika. While career/education for me has gone smoothly (my chart overall supports that), my personal life is in total shambles. I grew up with a terrible, abusive, and all around dysfunctional family life and many intense bonds that ended in either painful separation or death… for example, I had a spiritual bond with my first love, but he passed away in a car accident. Later I met someone else and he got snatched away by his family due to caste differences (I don’t know where he is now). After that, I was forced into an arranged marriage with a guy 9 years older than me (who has kaal sarp & manglik dosh), and this guy left me for a petty reason. Marriage only lasted for 6 months. Faced extreme humiliation and I’m only 22. The only thing that is keeping me from not ending my life is my high education and my ability to make money. I’m currently in the United States in a triple-degree program and I’m working as a manager. These are the only things in my life that are going right.
In the midst of all of this, I began talking to my friends (who I feel detached from too, because we aren’t close) about going on a pilgrimage. They think I’ll be back in a year or so but my real intention was to commit suicide. The reason for this is that I feel detached from everyone and nobody actually cares about me… and it’s not even a perception (I wish it was), it’s reality. I feel very lost and trapped. The only route of escape I can find is spirituality. I read your other post on suicidal tendencies and I saw that my combination of bad Ketu, bad Moon, bad Sun, bad Mars, etc. really sucks and that’s exactly what I’m facing. How do I get out of this? What do I do? If I’m meant to be detached (eventually), how do I accept it and embrace it? How I get on higher vibrations? I play Vishnu Sahasranamam every day like you mentioned in that post but I don’t feel anything. Instead, I feel like I’m meant to live like a machine since if I do live, I have to be happy with this terrible fate. The tug of war between Moon-Venus (attachment) and Ketu (detachment) is horrible, and I don’t want to accept it. Apparently, I have to, but it’s hard.
If you could give me even one sentence of advice, I’ll be thankful.
Thank you.

Hi there
do consult a medical professional.
and if it is just one sentence you want then it is this.
You must care about Your Own Self.
You are all important to your own self.
and you must appreciate your positives. you are young, intelligent, hard working, are financially independent, well to do, settled etc.
(it does not matter if someone from outside cares or not, but it does matter that you care about yourself)
you are an intelligent young person and now you have identified a problem statement.
so now you are required to come up with an effective solution.
this is a puzzle that you have set up for yourself so solve it.
you can
i have written so much on Ketu, the most powerful of all the graha.
if you have so many planets being influenced by him then the prize is a very valuable. and the tests too will be typical. (use the index)
and you are not a machine.
You have to find something which makes you happy. and there will be something which makes you happy..
but you have to decide to be happy.
Photography – take 3 photos a day
Drawing – draw something using color pencils, one small 10min drawing a day
Sing a song – 10mins – anything you like
cook – one dish a day and eat it, even if it is a salad
learn to play a musical instrument – if you are up for a challenge then the Bamboo flute is the most difficult yet the easiest. the most rewarding of them all. learn to play a swarmalika of Raag yaman on it. it will heal deeply, make you happy.
learn yogasana – even 5 surya namaskar a day will help set so many things right internally.
use make-up, buy some new clothes etc, get some freshness in your life.
get rid of old clothes etc and their old energy.
and every sunday go to any natural place near you – spend a day there, take photos, walk, deeply breathe in the air
every 3 months go for a small vacation or pilgrimage –
Chardham are a compulsory pilgrimage for all Hindus, Shri Kshetras Badrinath, Somnath, Rameshwaram and Puri
or the 12 Jyotirlingams
or the 4 Dham in Uttarakhand
learn to enjoy your own company. get to know yourself better. it is going to be so worth it.
we souls get human births after a really really long waiting period.
and its a chance to do so much, this is a rare opportunity to achieve so very much,
do think and make the most of it.
read the Bhagwat Gita (pranav- gita hindi version) or if you are upto it the Vivek chudamani (swami madhavanad’s translation in english)

Hi there
i do not do readings.
for this you will have to contact someone who still does this.
and if you need support frm a medical professional then do so it will help.
however these are a few things which can help you.
1. choose a daily practice. it is the best way of strengthening the mind. these 10mins hold your life together in a very deep way. do it for 21 days sincerely and then evaluate the state of your mind.
10mins in the morning and in the evening.
eg if you like the mantra ‘om namah shivaya’ then 108 times twice a day.
or if you like the mantra ‘soham’ then 108 soham in your mind with the breath is the easiest option. ‘so’ as you inhale and ‘hum’ as you breathe out will help calm the mind.
or any ritual that is performed daily for your source of faith.
but do something regularly.
this will help the mind relax
and during the day if you feel stressed out then take a min to breathe deeply and recite your chosen mantra. this will relax your mind.
also offer water to the Sun. he is the ultimate source of all energy to the sun and this simple 30second activity will remove all darkness/ negativity.
2. 10mins for your own self
if you like painting the you must paint 10mins per day. even simple geometric shapes or abstract lines are fine. but you must hold your paintbrush in your hands and see the color forming on your canvas. it will heal things deeply on the inside
singing aloud – give 10mins for singing whatever you want to. bathroom singing is also fine but sing loudly, humming or murmuring does not work.
3. do some cleansing regularly
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/04/24/cleaning-up-after-energy-work/
4. if you can afford it a vacation will help. or even a day tour once a week, to a place of natural beauty, eg a park
you are already thinking about your charts, your energy. it is a positive step, that you want to understand yourself, your life patterns and use them constructively.
make some plans for the future,
eg 20 oil paintings in the nxt 3 months and holding a small exhibition in your own house. or selling them online.
giving yourself a physical task often helps the mind as it gives it a target to focus on rather than whirring about endlessly.
i have written several posts on the mind, self-help, life in general. do use the index page https://psychologicallyastrology.com/index/
and again do consult a medical professional, as they are trained to help people.

Thank you so much for your kind words and your very helpful response, you are surely very busy, and I appreciate your help and advice, I hope that everything will start to align with my intentions, for what it’s worth, I was told that I would be successful, because according to my astrologer I am running Guru Chandra, and then Guru Mangal until 2024, so I have to make the best of it for as long as I can get Blessings and Divine guidance… Please accept my deepest gratitude, I wish you would still do readings though, this world is a better place thanks to realised beings such as yourself, Respected Teejaswiniji, looking after others… Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
P.S :Would you happen to know what would the meaning be of a great trigone as the one I have found on my kundli, a fire and a earth trigone, forming a star of David, I have looked and researched this topic, but didn’t really get an answer…

Thank you for your kind response, it has been a great help for me.
I have read your posts on the topic with a feeling of elation, as you have explained and clarified things, so that a layman could understand the answer, which I have been looking for since a long time now.
I do have to apologise for the terms I have used, as English is not my natal language, by “realised being”, I just meant to say that you are spiritually highly evolved and are aware of your Soul and your Mission, and your work is reflecting that in every instance.
I guess in Sanskrit you have specific words for the meaning I was trying to clumsily convey.
Thank you for your patience and your guidance, dear Tejaswiniji.

So you are a Virgo ascendant. The reason for intense relationship/pain is your Moon /Venus in Scorpio and retrogression of your seventh lord Jupiter. And reason for detachment is probably because ketu is getting near to your ascendant by transit. It’s urging you to become more spiritual/selfless, which can bring losses of you are not of that type forcing you to be spriritual. The good thing is this Ketu will cross your ascendant in two to three years when your life will get back on track. So there is always light at the end of tunnel. Don’t follow any organised religion. Design your own prayer. If you have affection for dogs adopt one. If feeling suicidal get medical help.. Also your natal Rahu can show the direction of detachment. Probably all the unfortunate things are a part of karmic pay back. Once it’s paid you should be on track

Dear Stranger. ✨
First of all , thank you for holding onto your self and your life . Such courage you have had for so long , you lovely child of the universe 💚.
Thank you for your brave spirit , your resilience , your hard work , your intelligence , your tired sublime heart , your existence itself.
You have come so far ! You have recognised what was stagnating you . Became aware of the patterns that were holding you back.
💚 Nourish the habit of appreciating these healthy steps that you take each and every day to live . Be your own cheer leader ! 🙂
💚The effort that you took to write the message itself conveys the fact that the life within you wishes to live more authentically , more freely , in a more loving manner towards self than ever .
It’s so encouraging to see you here.
💚You , with your Scorpio moon ( i have close Scorpio moon friends) have such deep fathomless emotions , how can you be machine like , but it is possible that the pain that you have been feeling has been so so intense for such a long time , that a part of you resolved to lock this part up for the fear of overwhelming emotions that accompany you in life.
Give it a creative outlet in your life which feels inspiring and encouraging to your heart ?
💚A part of you ( subpersonality )may be angry at the sense of injustice , great sense of loss , Abandonment , that it has faced . Gather that energy of seething anger and use it to break down all the limiting beliefs that do not serve your highest good ( physical , emotional, mental , spiritual) you have learnt up till now.
💚 Another part of you ( your innocent childlike essence ) is still alive , with its wide eyes with wonder in her eyes & joy in her heart . Connect with her within , hold her hand up , bring that beautiful smile of yours up , yes the one that’s been lost for a quite time , ahaaa yes there it is !! 😉 réparent her and love her wholeheartedly .
💚You say such &such planets are bad . Sure they have been deeply unpleasant ( such experiences that we cannot fathom , for you are the only one that has lived through them) and caused you so so much grief . Feel ,acknowledge your pain and validate your feelings for yourself.💛learn to breathe deeply . It will take time , as all great things do. You are worth it 😊
But don’t forget about the strength that they have bestowed you with in the long run. In this relative world of duality , good and bad coexist , the game of light and shadow . We bask in light and we thus cast a shadow. You have uncovered your strength , despite everything , you are still here ! Wow 🙂 ⭐✨
💚Write , write , journal a lot , be absolutely honest when you write. Learn to accept all parts of you , the rainbows , flowers , thorns ,storms , all . If you condemn your curves and edges , and not face them as they are , you then deny yourself some cool gifts they hold. They are there for a reason , when you sit beside them , and understand them , they transform themselves into magic , courage and the freedom to be totally yourself :). Acceptance is the key and it comes with time. Patience . Consistency.
“The only route of escape i can find is spirituality. ”
What is spirituality ?
It’s finding our way back to our self . Knowing & experiencing who we truly are . Or you can choose for yourself what it is . Find out yourself , live this adventure ?
Escaping into ourselves ? 😉
💚Your moon and venus in Scorpio wish for a true binding loving closeness with another , try it with yourself ? . Maybe this life wants you to get closer to yourself , for you are love , loving and your eternal lover in the end . ❤️.
💚 Learn to see your thoughts for what they are. Some are helpful and some aren’t. Watch them and let them pass. Choose the healthy uplifting ones and act.
💚 Sit in silence under the sky . It has been your eternal witness , knows you inside out , sees you through the eyes of love and compassionate accountability. Feel the limitless love in your heart 🙂
💚 Help others when you can without any expectation , it feels so good 😉
💚 Cultivate gratitude & compassion for your self Darling . Thank yourself , nature and anything, anyone who has been kind or helpful. Little tiny things.
💚 Letting go & forgiveness. ( Not at all easy , easy to say , but very very worthy , it happens with time , it’s an act of love/freedom for our self )
💚 Get to know your innate worth, beauty & truth. Anything outside can be taken away , is so contingent on uncertainty .What , who it is that is always present ?
💚Keep in touch with your softness , your divine feminity too after all you have carried so much strength with you all this time , it’s okay to put down your armor and rest in vulnerability and a soft place sometimes . Balance 🙃😊
Also please reach out to a fine medical professional and genuinely kind community support groups .
Sometimes when we are really in a dark place , we think we are buried ( read this somewhere) but instead in truth ,we have been planted , and with the right type of soil ( right guidance of our inner light ) , water ( our nourishing healthy emotions , & faith in our divinity ) , wind ( the clear space in our hearts ) & sunlight ( unconditional presence ) we are reborn again 💚 .
You got this champ ! 🌻⭐

Hi dear,
From one moon ketu to another, chin up! Mental health professionals will help for sure.
The best way to beat moon ketu is to honor your mom, even though she is hurting you. I interpret this as not to get into arguments with her and not to complain about her to general people (few true besties are okay for your own sanity). Forgive forgive forgive… it makes you free… and you know a thing or two about freedom, right ?
The best remedy for venus ketu is to practice unconditional love … and to marry a person who a. Already has children from an other marriage and care for them as your own.
b. Doesn’t want to have kids and wants to dedicate his life in public service.
c. Has some physical disability or illness (needn’t be severe.) Learn to be okay with imperfections in your spouse.
Anyways ketu will lift its influence on these 2 planets by the time you are 32. Maybe find a partner after.
OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA MANTRA everyday 108 times will help a looot. It cancels all 108 types of doshas.
Sudarshan kriya (based on Soham) will also help big-time to come out of this dispassionate stance. This process connects the meditative mind to the devotional heart so you can feel again. Past trauma is erased, and it may calm your lagna mars also.
With Rahu in punarvasu and so many planets under the influence of the RK karmic axis, you’re definitely a high grade soul, here to work out your karma and proceed to higher states. There is no point cutting the process short by suicide, it’ll only be a repeat in your next lifetime. Let’s get it over with now!!! All your experience is moving you towards true freedom…. I promise.
Your Sun and Moon (natural karaka for parents) are both debilitated, so donate a lot to orphanages…kids who have lost parents.
Jupiter in Rohini can’t be too bad, he is in friend moon’s nakshatra. Wear a Jupiter ring. Wisdom brings us out of depression.
With moon venus conjunction doing art or music is definitely an option. In fact you will be surprised to see your abilities being channeled from another realm. (A R Rahman is moon Ketu in venus’s house).
Also when feeling down, DO NOT Google about all the bad people in the universe, read about saints or even better, words written by saints. (You already do that and it brought you here right?)
ALL THE BESTEST AND GIANT HUGS !!! I also have 90% of my planets in 6, 8 and 12 houses, sun mixed with Saturn, Jupiter with Rahu and all that Jazz. I know this, once we distance ourselves from toxicity, us moon ketu people can totally surrender to divine play without thinking, and let the divine carry us through!!! A R Rahman is living proof !

Hi there
sharing experiences is encouraged but what works for one may or may not work on others.
as in everything common sense must be applied.
I do not recommend the sudarshan kriya as is popularly taught by a famous NGO. it will cause problems in the short as well as the long run.
slow steady breathing is all that this blog recommends. the focus on the third eye. and mentally recite ‘so’ as you inhale and ‘hum’ as you exhale. and for exactly 108 breaths.
no experimentation or force to be applied on the breathing pattern.
for any sort of mediation/Dhyan only the techniques mentioned and described in the Vijnyan Bhairav tantra are acceptable.

Hi Madam,
Totally agree with your opinion SKY as they call it commonly.
It exceeds the repititions and depth of breathing.
I tried it for a few months some 10 yrs ago.
But i have few queries,
1. some of the people doing it for the first time get tremendous experiences and they shout/cry during the process, and the volunteers there generally label it as “your past traumas” are surfacing. I think it’s not that straightforward. Is it?
2. People generally get extremely hungry after doing this one. It’s like kick starting your pingala, which can cause imbalances right? Also, can it damage lungs?
Thanks

Hi there
during a ‘dhyan’ process there should be no jerks, no violent activity, else the pran moving in your nadis will cause damage.
‘past traumas’ or more correctly the sanskars/ vasana surface during dhyan, but there is no violence, you do not start shouting as you sit on your asan!
and how can you move your physical body? your body is fixed in the asan, your neck and jaw is fixed in the bandh, wrists are fixed on the knees, the tongue is also fixed in its bandh, eyes are fixed in the 3rd eye etc etc.. no part of the physical body can actually move. and this is in preparation for the eventual samadhi. the body is fixed like a rock, it cannot move in Dhyan.
what happens is generally this.
you will see/feel/taste/hear etc something which will affect your emotions, ie your mind. Actually the mind itself brings vasana/sanskars up and it tries to attack your focus. the mind is very insidious and this is the challenge.
so can you, despite feeling these vasana/ sanskar moving in your mind, bring your focus back at the 3rd eye and continue your breath/mantra?
if you start weeping, shouting etc it means your dhyan is broken, ur mind has won, you have lost.
even if your eyes may leak tears, your mind is trying to drive you nuts, as long as you are on the asan you are required to focus, this is a personal kurukshetra, it is that intense an internal war.
you cannot eat for 1hr after doing dhyan. drinking water or a small snack or some fruit etc is fine. but you cannot eat a full lunch just after you do dhyan.
i do not want to discuss why it is wrong. better is to describe what is right.
i have written about the safest, the most natural and the easiest process if you want to do it.

Please consult medical professional as per the earlier advice that you received.
I would also recommend not to get attached with the fatality of the results that “you think” are being delivered by the planets in your chart. As an exercise just observe how many times in a day you think your life is terrible because so and so planetary placement in your chart. If you are conscious enough to observe that, you will understand that your actual situation is made worse by being fatalistic about the planetary placements. I have also gone though all the phases of despair when i was running my ketu dasha. If you like reading books i would recommend “Letting Go” by David Hawkins, “The power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle and “The Untethered Soul” by Michael A Singer .Apart from this you must try meditation. With the knowledge of these books meditation will enable you to start observing your thoughts and feelings without being pulled away by them. You will start realizing that feelings are not the truth. This will increase your spiritual power which will always help you.

Tejaswini,
I just wanted to say thank you.
30 years (as per your blog) dedicated to spiritual discipline or any discipline holds a lot of depth.
I understand people have inappropriately plagiarized you. Shame to them. I understand why they would copy you, however. It’s your analysis and wisdom from experience; experience one can only attain after 30 years. It has a gravitas and holds expertise that would define mastery.
It is very advanced and different from the common astrology noise. Having consulted with Vedic or kp astrologers over the past few months, I’ve come to learn that “clarity” is cryptic or dreamy.
Generic without cohesive analysis.
So I did more reading and more research on my own, where I came to appreciate the value Vedic knowledge has revealed.
Without further research and context, as a result, my intimate exploration of Vedic science would have been closed. Finding your writings, your interpretation of Vedic’s vast nuances offer bare truths that are not diluted or commercialized.
My only angle is to comment on how your writings made an impression and in a lot of ways resonated or answered questions I thought couldn’t be answered.
So, in some other life, I would’ve found you while you were still practicing. However, it is this life and in this life it is my joy to thank you. For holding this empowering fountain of knowledge.

Actually I read in one of your articles where you mentioned that the charms/yantras that we wear as jewellery leave us when their purpose is over (or something like that, I am unable to locate the article).
My beloved dog died and I lost my silver chain that I used to wear with a saraswati yantra at the same time. Do the two events have any correlation?

Pranaam Maam,
I am Software Engineer from Mumbai. I have been going through a lot of problems in my life since 2018. I was a bright student and I finished my MS degree from a reputed university in US. I didn’t get a good job in US and struggled for 2 years before losing the last one and had to move back to India out of no choice. Since then I got into depression, a bad habit (I am working to get over it and there is some success) and other problems. I do work in a firm but the pay is very less compared the what i got in US naturally. Very rarely I have seen someone having an MS degree having to move back to India because of losing job. I have no friends here and no social life since I work from home. Certain other issues as well which I am not posting here. But I have a supportive family and thats the best and only aspect of my life.
I have studied vedic astrology for more than a year ( Learner and hence no expert). I am a Cancer ascendant with Moon-Rahu conjunction in fifth hourse (scorpio). Both debilitated. Moon in Jyeshtha 1st pada. Sun in Cancer, Mars in Leo, Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Aquarius and Mercury-Venus in Gemini. I think most problems that I face including depressing thoughts, unreasonable fears, loneliness are due to Moon-Rahu. Also saturn and mars aspect on them. Can you please help me with certain questions?
1) Will this debilitated ascendant lord with Rahu cause me problems throughout life?
Are there any remedies that I can do to keep myself calm and happy and cut the malefic influence of the horoscope?
2) My mother is a Reiki student and healer. Can you pl suggest something that she can do to help me out? Some methods that can bring some bliss back into my life?
I appreciate your time and you are doing a great great job with spreading the knowledge through this blog. I have shared this URL with my mother and she uses the translated version of the site to go through the articles.

Hi there
you can check your D9 to see if you have any support for the Moon.
i have written on several topics which can help you understand your chart.
you can go thru the index or use the search bar or google search
however things will improve on the emotional front in your mid 40s as Rahu allows Moon to mature.
and you have to do some mantra jaap daily. it will work very well for you as you also have your 8th lord in the 8th house.
and in your daily pujas try to do any stotra or mantra of Bhagwan Shankar or any pure Shiva mantra. offering milk to shivlingam esp on mondays will help.
if your mother is a reiki healer then you should have consulted her first!
however just as a suggestion, if she feels it to be right, then she can use this sequence on your healing for the highest good –
distance healing symbol
master symbol
power symbol
emotional healing symbol

Thank you so much for your reply Maam. I really appreciate you helping us out. I do read the articles related to Jyotish on this Site. I get many answers which seem to be scientific like the one which explained why Rahu-Ketu have no aspects while some go with 5-7-9 theory. The article made much much more sense to me.
In my Chalit, Saturn moves to 7th and Venus to 11th (Only 2 changes).
In Navamasa (Capricorn Ascendant), I have Moon Mars conjunction in 12th house in Sagittarius. Saturn-Rahu in Scorpio, Sun-Venus in Libra, Jupiter-Mercury-Ketu in Taurus.
I will surely follow your teachings Maam. I also listen to Vishnu Sahasranam and Hanuman Vadvanal Stotram daily. I will pray to Shankar Bhagwaan as well.
My mother has learnt Reiki Level 1 under a Teacher. She does healing on me regularly. She mentions that she knows the distance healing symbol. May I please request you to let me know if you are aware of any Teacher in Mumbai who may help her go to next level? She wants to now go in much more depth.
May I please also request you to remove the first comment of mine from the thread if possible?
Once again many thanks for your reply. We are very much obliged. JMD.

Hello,
I am glad this discussion has happened. I learnt Sudarshan Kriya decades ago. Our teacher made us give him a promise that we will do SK for 90 days. Since I had given a commitment I sincerely did it for 90 days. After 2-3 weeks I started suffering from loose motions. There was no external cause – I was eating home food, I was not going through any stress. The loose motions lasted for over 2 months – something I had never experienced in my life. At the time of the course the teacher told us that we might develop some health crisis which is a result of internal cleansing. I believed it then. In my belief that SK was good, I did not make the connection between my health issue and SK. The loose motions stopped without any medication, on its own, after I stopped SK. I never felt like doing it again. I think intuitively I knew it was not good for me. Personally, I find that organization highly commercial.
Tejaswini ji, thanks a lot for all your posts and responses 🙏🏻

You have mentioned a few times in replies to readers that when the longevity of the person is nearing it’s end a maraka planet’s dasa can cause problem to health/ life. So how do you see longevity in the birth chart? Also, does Sade sati also cause risk to health and longevity when it comes for the third time in an individual’s lifetime?I have read if the person is older and has his/her third Sade Sati it may be dangerous.

Hi there
the third sade sati can trigger health issues which can end the physical body.,
this will occur in the age of 60-90 yrs so the person has lived his complete life.

Hello Tejaswini mam,
Firstly a huge thanks. You have no idea how much you have changed my life through this website. Truly and deeply with my folded hands Thank you.
Forgive me for telling my story here, it’s only to seek an advice from you.
I had a bit of depressing childhood but when I was a child I always used to pray to God to give me problems in life because i believed that God gives problems to those who have the capacity to face those problems and at that time I felt my life was perfect. Now I’m 34 and still kind of feeling the same. My life has always been perfect ( here, I’m not trying to brag or trying to sound like an evolved person who finds happiness in everything).
I genuinely feel these things.
There has been always a deep hollowness inside me. It’s not sorrow but just something is missing, as though I left something somewhere. I don’t know how to explain this but somehow felt you would understand and today had the courage to write it.
Could you please advise which planet plays a role for sush an emotion in astrology.

Hello Madam,
Welcome after a long time to the blog. Nice to see you.
Hope to see more of your posts…:)
one query, in one of your posts, you have mentioned that the ideal partner for a person is the one who has moon sign which is located exactly 180 deg opposite to you, as per D1.
is this irrespective of location of moon in D9? (i have moon which is already 6 signs away in D9 than in D1).
thanks and happy surya sankranti

Hi there
one position does not make a complete reading.
this person will behave outwardly as per his D1 moon sign and will be the ideal mirror to you,
his d9 moon will indicate his internal sookshma/ subtle tendencies
eg you might be kind to someone = d 1
but why? do you want to influence him. or genuinely help him. or help him now gain his trust and then betray? this is d9.

I am a regular reader of your columns.
. My Father passed away a month back from sudden cardiac arrest. But I keep feeling a bit guilty that If I had taken him to hospital on time I could have probably saved him. I somehow mis-read his symptoms and hence delayed taking him to hospital. The pain he was probably undergoing at that time.. makes me feel constantly guilty..
-> Your columns have primed me to understand the process of death/rebirth -> But still at my level , I am finding it difficult to handle this burden of guilt and failure on my part. If you could be kind enough to suggest ways on how I can balance this ?
-> Being unmarried woman, From my side, I prayed with full intention(as per some of your earlier suggestions) during his funeral rites for his easier travel to Pitrulok.
->Anything else I can do to balance my guilty conscience /missed karmic duties?
Thanking you for all your valuable guidance all these years.

Hi there
guilt is the worst emotion. if you feel this then do take corrective actions to resolve it. do not allow your mind to wallow in guilt. think yourself out of it. Intelligence/Buddhi must be used to control the mind/emotions.
you have already done your part as possible in the anteyshthi/tarpan vidhis, eg praying, cooking, arranging things etc.
you have done your duty to the best of your ability and that is all that is necessary.
if you really feel that there was inaction on your part then apologise sincerely to the jivatma, once.
talk to your source of faith, like just sit in front your deity and speak out these words. once.
and after this tell your mind to focus on your deity and not on the departed jiv/events.
one takes birth and leaves the shell by the blessings of the Ishwar.
we should not take either of these two events as bad or sad.
if the jivatma has done punya karma in its life here then going to the pitrulok is a well deserved resting time. until its time to take a birth again.
the jivatma simply moves from one ‘room’ to another.
yes, grief is natural and one must grieve.
we have been given a time frame of 13days for grief. with the tarpan vidhis we settle all our accounts with the departed jivatma. after these 13days the mind should not be allowed to continue in grief too.
you should not grieve after 13days.
you can remember them, but all the happy memories.
think of all the happy times, when you were a child etc and use his memory to add strength to your life, not grief and certainly not guilt.

Hi there
i do not know if i will have time to write, so i cannot say anything on this.
but it is ideal if you yourself become the rudder of the ship of your life.
this is why i stress on the daily practice. do something for 10mins daily. it will ‘hold
your life on a subtle level.
and choose one source of faith, your kuldevata, your ishtadevata, any Vedic deity, Bhagwans and Devis in their so many beautiful forms. this is your mirror, it will reflect the energy you focus on it.
or learn to see that same deity you worship in everything around you. that is bhakti bhaav in the vishwa-roop ishwar
eg if you worship Bhagwan Shankar learn to see his beautiful face in everything around you, learn to consider everything to be his prasadam.. have faith that he is all around you, inside you and always blessing you.
there are only two things which can be the ‘rudder’
1. Bhakti – in your ek-roop ishwar or the vishva-roop ishwar. this is applicable to 99.9% people who follow Vedic dharma.
2. Jnyan – this is the 4th level of Bhakti also called Jnyani Bhakti in the BG. here you are confident that ‘aham brahmasmi’ ‘I myself am the Atma’.
and the route is always first Bhakti and then Jnyan.

1. Here you have mentioned that Black coloured tilak attracts and increases negativity in the energy system. But, most of the old people and also vaarkari use this only (called as बुक्का). So, they should avoid it too right?
2. Widows generally don’t wear any kunku and use only tikli, if they have to. Is it correct or widows too can use kunku?
3. Can one sleep with the tilak on the forehead or it has to be wahsed before going to sleep at night?
4. Unrelated to this post. Can we wash the aasan after some days just like clothes?

Hi there
(i have slightly edited the post)
most unethical practitioners ‘tie’ their clients using black colored tilak. so as a general guideline it is correct.
exception is if you worship Mahakaal Bhagwan. then you will put a tilak of black kajal (generally it is made at home).
Bukka is ok if you trust the person who is applying it to you or if you are buying it directly from a temple shop.
widows can wear it if they want to.
(my personal opinion is tht widows and widowers should remarry if they get a suitable marriage proposals)
one can sleep with it on
yes.

Hi Madam,
Few queries,
1)
for a widow/widower to get married, what purpose will it serve?
Many people say that you must have someone to share your thoughts and also to take care of you when you get old. This is the primary and foremost reason for the whole marriage provision.
Here age is also a point to be considered right? E.g. if the widow is relatively young, then she may get marriage proposals easily and marriage is easier. But, if she is relatively old or if children are mature enough, then the whole idea of marriage seems absurd. Even it can create issues in relations before marriage. The idea of “new” father/mother can not be digested after a certain age by children and they may start hating that person without any reason.
To give my own example, my father died when i and my brother were very young. And, my some of my mother’s in laws had mentioned this idea to my mother, but she found it pathetic. But she was already a religious person before marriage too, and never had much of worldly desires. But even if it had happened unfortunately, I am very much sure it would have created disturbance.
2)
is there a difference between planet placement for a deaf person than a dumb person. 2nd house and/ or venus/mars will be afflicted for both. But can we distinguish more?
3) i saw a chart where a person is having all the dharm trikon lords in dusham sthan. can it nullify the affliction by this peculiar placement?
4)
I generally try to recite the daily mantra’s after a bath in morning and it generally takes small time, but you have said that one must do “dhyan” too to be able to absorb the energy during this. But, considering the rush of the tasks in morning, doing the “dhyan” with the sequence of asnans and 108 soham’s becomes a daunting task in itself.
what would you suggest? is it ok if we just sit quietly concentrating at third eye after the morning recitation rather than doing the whole methodical “dhyan” ?
thanks

Hi there
the choice of getting remarried/not after the loss of spouse by death/divorce should be solely the person’s own.
this is an individual/situation specific thing. and should not conditioned by the mindset of the family/ in-law family or the cultural background.
if there is no spiritual backup then a life alone can become unbearable.
there are several examples in my father’s/my clients where people who have lost their spouses have remarried and raised their step-children as their own. and also those who remained single by choice and lived a happy life. but those who were forced to remain single coz family pressure often had emotional issues.
if you want to become a genuine astrologer then you cannot allow your personal experience to color your analysis of the charts before you.
ref std books – combinations are given.
which dusham? and aspects? owner of the dusham. navamsha position. so many factors.
i have written about several small daily practices for people who do not have time for the daily dhyan.
‘soham’ even thrice with full faith is fine if you do not have time.
but if you do any mantra 108 times, then a 10mins ‘rest’ after that is necessary.

I have a question, does city and those coordinates play an important role throughout life? For example, why was I born in Ajmer or why majority of my life was in heritage cities but now while I am settling down, I have to be in NCR?
Isn’t NCR badly ruined with respect to basics -air, pollution, water and people or politics?
Does everyone who resides for a longer period in heritage cities or close to nature energetically pure places, blessed positively? We cannot say entire city or people are saint
Can we really choose to reside somewhere else forcefully? Is it free will? Would love to know your thoughts. How important is it to choose where you live apart from socio-eco and mental well being

Hi there
i do not have time anymore. so i am not very sure about writing posts in the future.
Obviously. without the place of birth and time of birth you cannot even calculate the charts.
place of residence is your 4th house and the influences on it.
eg
sun – govt residences
moon – near water/sea shores
ketu – ghosts/unknown influences in your house
4th lord in 12th house – in remote areas, dangerous locations, forests, prisons etc
5th lord in 4th – house that you buy yourself and then pass on to your children
as per the dasha/ transit – check the influences on the 4th. tht will give you the nature of your current place of residence
NCR is a land under severe stress.
i carry a water bottle of gangajal and sprinkle it in the hotel room whenever i have to stay overnight there.
No.
people are not automatically blessed positively.
there will always be a background of pure energy around teerths/ major temples.
but how you use that energy is your own thing.
some people also choose to ignore it.
and some use it for malefic purposes.
if you have a choice then you should choose well.
but most of us do not have much of a choice.
so we try to improve our personal / house energy.
we always have free will.
just that most of us do not recognise it.
reason is that we let our emotions (manomayakosh) suppress our intelligence (vijnyanmayakosh).

Thank you Ma’am. I get you…..turns out I have not evolved to a level where I understand the stress of a place and carry gangajal but I miss benaras. The place i last lived. NCR just doesn’t, never did feel home. Its chaotic and restless. No where to go for a breath of fresh air, nature and just unwinding for soul. These people have only destroyed mountains, cities around by bombarding it in the name of travel.
Mam, one more thought….I met a couple recently and during personal discussion, I mentioned about being anxious….. anxiety catching on to me for last 3-4 years. It was never the case….been a public speaker throughout.
That man revert by saying ‘women have a problem with anxiety….all women has’…..even my father use to say this to mum fleetingly….matlab its common observation of men against women
Is it because of moon? The planet that universally represents a women, mother, nurturer and hence the fluidity, instability exist. Level varies depending on their moon’s strength?
Wow! Couldn’t believe but it just stuck me. Entire planet is causing anxiety issue maybe the same way how Men are known to be egoistic, temperamental because of sun/mars?

I had questions regarding three of your posts (1) Kendradhipati dosha (2) Guru Chandal dosha and (3) Cancellation of yogas
1) If Pisces is ascendant/lagna and Mithuna is the rashi, does placement of Jupiter in Pisces in 1st house, and Mercury in Gemini in 4th house create kendradhipati dosh and decrease auspciousness in both the D1 (from Mercury) and moon chart (from Jupiter) ?
2) Does association of these planets with malefics cause further dosha/cancel yogas? For example: “Jupiter with Rahu” in 1st house in Pisces and “Mercury with Moon and Mars” in 4th house in Gemini.
Much thanks for through us through this journey of both vedic astrology and sanatan dharma.

Hi there
‘Decrease auspiciousness’ is incorrect understanding.
try to understand the combinations in terms of behaviour and not in one word good/bad sort of terms

Dear Tejaswiniji,
Yes you are correct, I should have framed my question in better words.
I was curious to know how do these three planets Mercury, Mars and Moon behave when they come in conjunction in Gemini /4th house for a Pisces ascendant.
I went back and read your post on Mercurial Mercury again, and from this, my understanding is:
If Mercury has lowest degree and Mars has highest degree in this combination, Mars should win the graha yuddha, but as Mercury is in its own sign, does it get added strength? Who wins the graha yuddha here and how do they behave?
How does Moon behave as it gets sandwiched between Mars and Mercury in this combination?
I am finding this entire placement in the chart very fascinating, hence then the question 🙂
Looking forward to your posts in the future even if you don’t have time to answer this now.
Thank you.

Hi Madam,
Happy New Year!!
I have read a lot of your posts multiple times and have been learning a lot from your blog, Thank you!!
I have a few questions which (although explained well in many of your articles) have still remained a little bit confusing for me. Kindly address these if /when you have any free time to spare:-
1) I understand the importance of and how to analyse Navamsha charts from your many posts. My question specifically is for a situation where the Lagna/Ascendent of D1 and D9 charts are in opposite signs (example: Aries in Rashi chart /Libra in Navamsha ). Is there any specific significance of such placements in Navamsha as here the house/sign relationship for all signs between D1 and D9 charts is complimentary/opposite (trying to understand considering your posts on the complimentary nature of the opposing signs on each axis). Could you please comment on this?
2) My other question is regarding a close conjunction (within 3 degrees) between Jupiter and Venus that persists across most of the divisional charts. I have read in depth your post on this
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/02/03/venus-and-jupiter-in-opposition/
but I still do not understand the real significance of this. Is this a problematic conjunction or for a native who is very spiritually inclined, it is a very good placement, also considering it being present in all divisional charts? The native is already very spiritual and regularly meditates etc.
3) If this above mentioned (Ju-Ve) conjunction shifts in Bhav Chalit from 4th house (Cancer) to 5th house (Leo) for the Aries Ascendent chart, then the aspects for Jupiter should be seen from 4th house or 5th house?
4) In Navamsha this Conjunction (Ju-Ve) is in 6th house also together with Moon (in Pisces). Now due to being in Dusham sthan in D9, is it bad, or is it still a good spiritual combination (3 benefics conjunction in Pisces). In D1 chart Pisces is 12th house.
Thank you for anything you may be able to suggest to understand this placement better! I am very grateful for your insights.

2. do you consider being spiritual problematic? i do not know what you define by ‘problematic’
i do not consider it problematic from my point of view. it has worked very well in the charts i have seen it in.
3. check the point 180 deg away and 15deg =/- is the area of the zodiac aspected.
if this math is too much then, consider tht the planet has influence on both tht houses pre/post chalit

Hello Ma’am
While I know you don’t answer personal questions but its been troubling me for some time and maybe uselessly. Believe me have consulted 2-3 credible vedic astrologers in recent years
Request you to guide in whatever way suitable to
I and my partner are both leo ascendant. Not that the life of Leo rising especially with respect to relations and marriage is easy by social standards. What worries me is fifth lord
Both of our fifth lord is jupiter. Which is also the karaka of children. Both of ours is retrograde since we are hardly two months apart and sitting in libra.
His has moon aspecting from 9th house and mine by mars from 9th house. As a girl my rahu is on cusp of 3/4th house but technically ketu is closer to sun in taurus under 2 degree so rahu should be in 4th house and not 3rd to form guru chandal yoga.
I learnt about beeja and kshetra sphuta. Barren signs, odd and even….though not completely but nothing looks positive in rashi or d9 charts of both of us.
His beeja sphuta is 6 degree in virgo (barren) and mine is 2 degree in Aquarius. Even in d9 odd houses/signs + 5th lord retro or afflicted by malefic moon in his. Why none of the astrologer are pointing out or seeing this when matching our chart or am I reading incorrectly?
After all the marriage trouble till 30s even this will be a suffering stage for us? Please shed some light mam. We are still not married and I have heard atleast one person’s good chart or better d9 can pave ways via treatment or difficulty. In ours it looks complete no. When I prod the astrologer further since they are so senior, it gets offensive for them or as if m not trusting. And they proclaim they have seen it all and only then saying yes to match

Namaskaram Tejaswiniji,
Very happy to see you active on the comments section again.
I wanted to ask about the Joshimath situation, Shankaracharya Ashram Temple Shivling developing cracks so many houses meeting the same fate.
Is it foreboding of some event ?
There is also a fact that we have abused the holy place, with the excessive tourism, on a ecologically and geologically sensitive region.
There is another question on the various Hindu Calendars.
There is a difference of 1 month between the Tamil panchang and Marathi. I believe its calculated based on Lunar Cycle.
The shraddh ceremonies of our family members is performed according to the Tamil one. But the same date when calculated according to Marathi occurs earlier. Dates calculation is purely mathematical, why such big discrepancy between the calendars. The thithi needs to be absolute right? Especially when we talk about performing pitru paksha/ shraddh kind of karma, we can’t be doing the same on an incorrect day.
Infact all other calendars except Tamil and Malayam follow the same calculation.
What is the correct way?

Hi there
yes, it is and everyone knows what it means.
jyotishis have been literally shouting about this for years..
Naturally it is about the ecology/geography.
but the root cause is the disturbance to the energy and the original residents of the Himalay.
it is called Dev-bhoomi for a reason.
i had written somewhere on this. in a post or maybe in a comment. repeating the main points
our year is luni-solar.
we do corrections to match the movements of the sun/moon so tht we are always correct.
eg the addition of an adhik maas, which we do even now.
right now we follow a ‘5yr yug cycle’ with an average of 372 tithis per year.
but one year actually has 371 tithis.
so there is one more correction where in every 15yrs, the last paksha of the adhik maas was dropped to compensate. this means that every 15yrs the maas would change from Amanata to Purnimanta and then again Amanta.. this was a 30yr dakshyaniyah cycle
then we had a 95yr cycle… to add a 5 tithi correction 🙂
when the invasions occurred, the very first were the Buddhists, shunya-vaad which caused a lot of philosophical warfare. (Aryabhatt helped us recover from this to some extent)
then the Islamic invasions and then the British which were actual bloodbaths…
the brahmins who were teachers/daivejnyas and responsible for all this corrections were first targeted and slaughtered mercilessly. all were destroyed. and we the remaining people forgot all this.
some regions remained stuck in the amanta format some remained stuck in the purnimant format.. and the confusions kept on on increasing.
we are losing 24days/1700 yrs since then..
Maintaining a panchang is not easy. it requires dedication thru generations, reference texts, intelligence, observational skills and data sets. this is all gone now.
we are all out of time. all of us, in all the regions we all follow the wrong time. so do not bother about all this.
follow whatever your family follows .

Please make posts & articles on tarot!!!

Hi there
they are not evil! i regularly use Thoth Tarot, they are very useful in several ways. there are no ghosts/spirits involved in reading them.
there is a system coupled with the intuition of the tarot reader.
if you do not feel any negative effects then why would you think them to be evil? if you are scared, then do not use them.

Hi Madam,
This is a respnse to user named Jyothi.
from what i see is that you were expecting different response from Madam/had different question.
if u r a true seeker and if u truly believe that Madam is way ahead of you/any of us (which she is) in the matters of spirituality, then what’s wrong if she rebukes/responds strenly/dismisses you etc..she must have had her own reasons to reply in that way. and she doesnt owe you anything.
if u truly wanted answer to your question, then you have to ask may be after a few days and may be in a different way.
Madam has responded to my queries multiple times in the lines of ” I expect basic intelligence from my readers” i.e. basically stupid, and i did feel bad for a few moments, but i let it go. and i checked, so the info was already there on the blog in some other posts, thats why she didnt answer some questions.
and it didnt deter me from asking questions,
what i am saying is ,you have to have approach of true surrender.
these are my 2 cents

Hi there
i do not call anyone ‘stupid’ .. i do not use words like that even in life. i do not judge others. and no one is stupid. yes, non application of intelligence is possible and occurs because we tend to put emotional context to situations where emotions are not relevant.
the problem with our minds is that we impose our feelings on the response that the other gives.
doing regular sadhana/ puja resolves this tendency of the mind.
(reflect back on your Q fr which i wrote that i expect ‘basic intelligence’.. was it a logical Q?)
i am not way ahead of anyone. i just think more logically and less emotionally.
i get so many inappropriate questions, eg about tantra.
can anyone do it even if i tell the meanings of the beej or how to use them? high energy stuff?
do your daily pujas and when you reach that level even these basic hints will trigger the stuff within.
i do not owe anyone answers.
but yes, there are some questions which are genuine, fr which i write some hints/observations (i think of it as a social service/ manushya-yajnya)
but do ignore the comment, post, blog content if it does not suit your mind.
no one is bound to follow anything from this blog. everyone should do exactly what they want to do.
and please do not surrender to this blog!
surrender to your source of faith /Guru/Devata etc.. ie your own 9th house .. and do some daily practice ie your 5th house so that your Dharma trikon becomes stronger.
i am a Jyotishi. and just because i write a blog, answer some Qs ‘fr free’ does not mean that i stop being what i am.
if i open a shop and take even 5 clients/day, there will at least be a month long waiting list. and if i say that i will do ‘tantric remedies’ fr clients then the waiting list will go upto 6months 🙂
if you go to a doctor or a psychiatrist do you expect the Dr to hold your hand first, emphasise/sympathise etc feel bad fr your condition.. and tell you that he is sorry that you have diabetes or are suffering from mental stress? no, he simply diagnoses your condition, gives the prescription and off you go..

Yes Madam,
I agree with you absolutely. Many times i have asked some stupid questions and you have rightly corrected me in your replies. But you have also answered way more questions asked by me and others beautifully, so i/anyone else has no reason/right to complain anything..
also, You have the right to rebuke the readers anytime as you are also guiding them via your posts/replies and the readers should take it in the same graceful way rather than being judgemental at the first instance.
I remember below very touching story.
“The faith of the disciple must be grounded on his experience of the
divinity of the master. The story of Kalyan brings out the meaning of
this. Kalyan was a disciple of Swami Ramdas who was a perfect master
at the time of Shivaji. The master loves all disciples alike; but some
are particularly dear to him. Swami Ramdas had many disciples; but the
favourite was Kalyan. Other disciples did not understand why kalyan
should be so dear to the Master. Once Swami Ramdas made a test of the
devotion of his disciples when he carefully pretended to be so sick as
to be on the point of death. He had placed a mango on the joint of his
knee and covered it by a bandage so that it looked like a huge
swelling. Swami ramdas pointed to this swelling, said that it was a
malignant tumour, and that there was no chance of his living unless
some one sucked out the poison. At the same time he made it clear that
whoever sucked out the poison would die. Then he asked whether any
disciple was prepared to do this. All the disciples hesitated except
kalyan who arose immediately and began to suck from the swelling. He
found that what he sucked was mango juice not poison. To be willing to
die for the beloved is true love. Such faith, love and loyalty as that
of kalyan comes to the disciple only through the grace of the master. ”
why can’t the blog be a place of 9th house in addition to everything else? 🙂

2. the user Amit had doubt about shreeng as beej, and what does it mean.
I think as it is a beej mantra of moon, ( om shraang shreeng shroung sah chandray namah), it has to do something with moon/manas. then i searched for posts on shri yantra. i think it has to do something with opening of bhrahmanadi.

You have mentioned the length of one’s breath in terms of angula and what effect it has one the person. Also, the breaths per minute and the length are linked i.e. if BPM reduces, the length of breath also reduce.
is there any exact corelation between the two?
I mean if the person has , lets say 10 angula of length of breath, then what would be his BPM ?
2.
I was watching a video on youtube where a question was asked as why the real tantriks are tall, I mean really really tall (more than 7,8 feet). and the person refused to answer it, but he did say that it was to do something with the breathing/pranayama.
Also, You have mentioned in one of your posts that hair growth becomes really fast by certain tantrik practices. And as hair and bones are related (asthi dhatu), the height will also increase.
Is this guesswork correct? or there’s more to it?

Dear Maam,
Wanted to seek your opinion about paintings that we keep at home. I have got an elephant painting and waterfall painting that we bought from outside country. They are very pretty and captures attention. However when a pandit came home, he said some paintings absorb more energy than it should so must be removed. Another person in my family says that these paintings do take in energy but also releases it when we have fights in family. Also, One should not sleep with high energy paintings in bedroom as it can be like sleeping in temple. This can cause hallucinations. What’s your perspective on this.

Hi there
nature scenery is fine,
elephants may not be suitable for a home.
artwork in the bedroom should be soothing to the mind.
the last thing you see before sleeping/registers in the subconscious mind, can pop up in your dreams.

Ok ma’am, but can a painting as an object cause hallucination when seen in night, getting up from sleep in middle of night ( one portion coming out more than other parts of paintings, different parts highlighted out other nights). This phenomenon can happen due to high energy of painting or something else. Few paintings we threw thinking they were wrong in some way, since kids would get scared in nights (they were portraits or flower picture).
Asking since want to know if some energy is wrongfully linked to paintings? Or these paintings attract/ store too much energy which they might be reflecting in dark causing hallucinations. These were all hand drawn by painters in Vietnam!

Hi there
yes, it can, easily.
esp in the half asleep state and in the dark, the subconscious mind is more active.
your own impressions from this secret level of the mind are more active. and visions, hallucinations etc are all possible if there is an appropriate trigger in front of you.
one should be careful when purchasing artwork. Especially if it is a handmade item.
it is just like the food we eat. the mental energies of the person making it get absorbed in the item.
we ‘consume’ art with our eyes, just as we ‘consume’ food with our mouth.. similarly we ‘consume’ fragrances, tastes, sounds. we should be careful about all these things.
if the subject is pleasing to your conscious mind then you can simply recite the Shri sukta over the paintings. negative impressions, if any, will be wiped clean.

Hi S,
That was an interesting sharing! Many years ago I I remember reading that if a person is good at astral travel, he can stare at a painting and astrally reach the place depicted in the painting. I never tried doing it though. Was not sure where I would land up and meet whom.
What Tejaswini ji said about the last thing you see before you sleep is very true.

Hi there
why do you want to stare at a painting by a human? or enter into a landscape create by the limited imagination of a human?
Do tratak on the rising/setting sun or the Shri yantra.. at least you will be staring at your own Self.
with time/practice you can ‘enter’ your self via this route.
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/03/26/practicing-tratak/
stare at your own image, shadow, reflection, do chhaya sadhana and with time you will be able to create your own shadows,
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/08/20/secrets-of-your-shadow-chhaya-sadhana/
or stare at the water, fire, or the wind or the akash if you have developed that perspective.. you will be able to travel in the routes that these mahabhoot represent and do so much more…
this is a sadhana from the Bruhataranyak and also a part of Tantra.
our Rishis have used every technique to help us reach the Self..
before going to sleep, think of your mantra /deity etc for exactly 2 mins.. and see what happens

Hi Madam,
1.
while doing the count for any mantra there are 2x ways i.e. either use fingers or the jap mala for individual set, and then some physical counter in form of seeds/small digital counter etc.
But while doing the mantra repetitions, i felt that the body loses its awareness to some extent.I could feel only the finger tips moving for the count and no other part of body like hands/legs etc. and it sort of created the disturbance, meaning it would have been much better if no movement was there. So i was thinking is it ok if i find the repetitions done using the time it takes for it. E.g. I will know from observation how much i take for one set and then i will set timer to count the duration for which i do the sets. then i will find the total time/ time for 1 set, and will approximate this number to nearest integer meaning if it is 5.2 then i would have done 5 sets and if it is 4.8 then still 5 sets,to account for errors due to change of breathing pattern etc..
what’s ur opinion on this?
2. is it ok if one moves his neck/back/ leg position duing the mantra repetitions, as long as they dont get up from asan?
3. there are some people who seem to be temporarily possessed at devi temples, it is usually called as “angaat yene” in marathi. what happens in these cases? should we keep away from them?
4. you have mentioned the durga saptshloki in the black thread post as
श्री जगदम्बाप्रीत्यर्थ पाठे विनियोगः
while the origianl mantra has text as “shree durga preetyartha saptshloki durga pathe viniyogah”
i mean all the forms of devi are there but the saptashati has name as Durga Saptshati and not Jagdamba Saptshati or Kaali Saptshati..why so? just curious
thanks a lot

1 . do whatever feels right to you.
i prefer the fingertips, someone might prefer the mala, some might prefer to not count at all.
2. neck, head, back should remain aligned as far as possible.
the rest of the body can be moved if getting numb.
3. depends on what they are channelising .. in a temple should be fine. if you want, you can approach, they give blessings from the Devi.
4. you can address her by whatever title you feel like..
The Durga dwatrimshatnamavali has the details on why her name starts from Du
read it. and use the sanskrit dictionary to find the meanings of her names.
“Jagadamba” – the mother of the universe, feels right to my mind.
it is called Durga Saptashati in Uttar Bharat. In the East, it is called Chandi Path. In the Dakshin we call it Devi Mahatmya.

2) people who unconsciously astral travel in dreams or meet strangers in dreams, how should they guard their subconscious mind from impressions put astrally?
3) kids who are subconsciously more open even while awake, how to protect them or clear their impressions of the day. I am asking this because my daughter absorbs the bad habits of all people she is around. Don’t know how to get her original self back who was active, cheerful joyous.

Namaste Sir,
I randomly came across your blog today and it has made me very curious as you come across as someone who sees Astrology from energy perspective and I can’t stop reading your posts. As I see you don’t do individual readings any more but still hoping that you would reply to my query.
I come from a very different background. A product of Missionary convent School and born to non religious parents, my upbringing made me doubt/question my culture and in particular Sanatan Dharma. Then in 2020 when my Father contracted Covid, everything changed. My faith developed and more so in our deities. And since then I believe I have been guided by Maa. At this same time, I met someone (whom I consider my Guru) and he initiated me into Mantra Sadhna. Now the part which is important- I shared a romantic interest with this person “before” I was initiated. And I immensely value him but he is someone who is highly secretive and I recently discovered that I was deceived on many many things (but not on the Sprituality part). He did my reading once and told me that my husband would be unconventional and would be someone in whom I will see my Guru ( I have my Jupiter and Venus in 8th house and Rahu in 7th and Moon in 12th. ) Now we have parted ways but my heart somehow feels that we will talk again and that he is the one. Am I living in illusions? How to accept the reality that someone who for me was my Guru and love can deceive me. As I chant daily, i feel his presence with me. How will I be able to ever move on if I feel him daily? He told me he’ll always protect me. He mentioned that we will talk when I have worked on my issues (I have many on home fronts (Mars and Saturn in 4th house) and when I have transformed myself and he will wait for me. I don’t know what this means..how to know whether he is the one from my past life. The feeling of betrayal and love at the same time is way too overwhelming.
Anyway, I will wait for your reply
In anticipation..

Hi there
Your personal life decisions are your own.
However if my opinion.
If you have been deceived by someone (in whatever way), think twice before trusting him again.
From the Hindu / Sanatan Dharma perspective, every husband is considered to be a Guru for the wife. (This derives is from the divine couple, Bhagwan Shankar and Devi Parvati. He is the Guru and she is his Shishya.)
Get a reading from a professional astrologer and not from someone in whom you have a romantic interest.
Get out of your house, learn something new. Best is if you can find a teacher who teaches classical music face to face (not online). Or learn Bharatnatyam. or physical self defence, like tai kwon do etc.
Give your brain something new to learn, a new environment and a new friend circle.
Try not ‘miss’ people who are not physically in front of you. Doing so just consumes valuable mental energy and causes several emotional issues. Learn to let go of things which make you feel too emotional and try to be happy with what you have with you / the people who are in your life with you right now. else you will miss the opportunities for happiness which are right now in front of you.

Thank you so much for the reply. One thing I need to know. Someone who has given me Deeksha can withdraw his energy as well? I don’t want to fall prey to negative energies without protection. So considering he gave me his deeksha and now we are not on talking terms..is that a possibility? I am very sensitive to my environment (Ketu alone in Sun nakshatra in lagna)
Also, if it is so then how can I protect myself? I will most definitely move out of my house. But have some pending karma here which needs to be taken care of. I will try my best to move on and forget him but I know it will take time as my emotions were invested. I am deeply interested in astrology and Occult learning but since my background is not remotely connected to these things I don’t know where to start. My mind keeps going back to my past life.. the pending karma etc. As for the classical music ..I have always wanted to learn it since childhood. Thank you so so much again🙏

And ma’am why would any one who is on a high level in his Spritual journey deceive anyone? I had blind faith. Which has been shattered. I read somewhere that Venus Jupiter conjunction in 8th house in Ashwani nakshatra gives betrayals. Also my Rahu is in 7th house. And my relationships have really worked but this time I was invested emotionally. Was this some pending karma with this person which has been fulfilled ? How should I balance my present life.

Hi there
is your basic assumption ‘high level in his spiritual journey’ correct?
daily pujas, daily manta, daily routine, learn something new,
give your mind a new path, ie let it learn something new.
best option is classical music, raag yaman is the easiest healing raag. in case you cannot find a teacher, sing the old hindi songs in raag yaman.

Pranam dearest Tejaswini mam..💗🙏🏻
This is for shweta ji..
As per her given data i would like to express a few things if below points are worthy or else please delete this comment mam and sorry for wasting your time with this comment..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hello Shweta Ji, with my basic level knowledge I’m going to try to understand your chart patterns and share with you now as it’s the weekend so I have some leisure time… if the points below are wrong and not suitable to you it’s all my fault not vidyas.. 🙏🏻 please ignore these kindly..🙏🏻
You said that you have lagna ketu, Venus Jupiter conjunction and Mars Saturn conjunction and 12th moon in your chart..
So as per this👆🏻 and based on your past shared events your lagna might be Virgo and your asc lord Mercury in 5th house and sun in 6th house..
So now based on these patterns I’m pretty sure you already have some decent knowledge about astrology so I’m going to
express a few things based on your level..
To understand Asc ketu and saptam rahu please go through the link below if you haven’t read it..👇🏻
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/02/07/rahu-ketu-in-the-1-7-axis/
Asc ketu can grant spiritual benefits and 7th rahu might give very late marriage or can bring unconventional stuff..
7th house – spouse, 1-1 relationships, marak sthan, business partners, spirituality, romance etc etc
Rahu – illusions, cheating, foreign things, past life leftover karma, online platforms, technology, unusual things etc etc
Please try to link above two things and you will get an idea and here there is no positive aspect of any subha graha on your 7th rahu to reduce unpleasant events of Rahu.. moreover Mars who holds 3rd and 8th houses aspecting rahu.. it’s not that good sign..
This means whoever comes to your life most of the people and experiences are not that pleasant.. you should be very very very careful..
Coming to the next important combination Mars and Saturn conjunction in your 4th house.. please go through below link if you haven’t read to understand more precisely..👇🏻
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/10/17/saturn-and-mars-conjunct-or-aspecting/
So 4th house means your hrudaya sthan where your desires come from along with home, mother, peace, happiness, vehicles etc etc
So here Saturn and Mars placed means you might have understood the consequences from the above link.. here i think Mars won the planetary war and it’s not that good.. you always have friction around 4th house stuff..
Jupiter aspecting your 4th house with his 9th aspect.. but I’m not sure how much it can help you in materialistic life as Jupiter holds 2 kendras and class 1 malefic for mercury signs..
One more important combination is Jupiter and Venus conjunction in your 8th house.. 👇🏻
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/02/03/venus-and-jupiter-in-opposition/
Here I think Jupiter is ahead of Venus.. and Venus is in Ashwini 1st pada -gandantha ?? So please understand the energies of these combinations..
8th house – occult knowledge, hidden secrets, romance, affairs, astrology, tantric stuff, wealth from spouse, inheritance, sudden up and downs and life span etc etc
So both dev guru and ditya guru together influencing your 8th house stuff.. and it seems Jupiter won this war..
And your 8th Jupiter aspecting your 12th moon with 5th aspect..
As per my limited knowledge and experience Jupiter is not that pleasing planet when it holds 4th and 7th signs and is placed in 8th house..
When coming to most malefic planets Saturn and Mars results, if they want to give negative results to native, they give you directly like it’s visible like
Mars – accidents, diseases, electric shocks etc etc etc
Saturn – failures, losses, bad luck, laziness etc etc
But coming to these dev and ditya gurus malefic results are inexpressible.. It’s like we might get cheated by elders, gurus, grandparents and no ethical support from our own religion or religious people/books or no faith in God or lost in confusion or developing wrong philosophy or unable to know on what person we have faith till our last breath, etc etc
Here Jupiter has responsibilities of giving some unpleasant results to the native so Please apply all these possibilities with respect to corresponding areas so you will come to understand what happens to you..
Let me figure out one more important thing, i think sun is in your 6th house and 9th house lord placed in dusthan and 4th lord placed in 8th house and moon also placed in 12th house so some unpleasant experiences with your parents is possible..
You have to examine those very carefully as what we missed from parents and childhood usually we seek those in others unknowingly..
Now coming to your doubts, why are you cheated by someone and why do you have both a guru kind of respect and romantic interest too.. and why did you have that faith ??
Let’s try to examine these 👆🏻
If you have blind faith and still couldn’t stop thinking of that person who cheated you means just try to understand your 3rd house (parakrama stan, self efforts ) which is owned by natural warrior Mars but still you are feeling like this means just check once is he debilitated in your navamsa ??
If he is debilitated it influences your 4th(hrudaya, desires)
8th(romance,occult)
10th(karma sthan) due to Mars 7th aspect
Please understand your chart patterns here, Saturn 5th lord(love, mantra sadhana, creative stuff, intelligence) is with Mars (3rd and 8th lord means passionate romantic energy, secret affairs, self efforts, occult knowledge) and saptama Jupiter is with natural relationships karka 8th house venus..
I cannot say it more clearly publicly but hope you will understand based on the above keyword why this happened to you and how this is influencing you..
Coming to your asc ketu and energy Psychic things and protection..
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/09/28/make-your-very-own-amulet/
https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/09/22/peacock-feathers/
Please go through above links 👆🏻👆🏻
These things will help you to protect yourself from any negative energy..
I would like to say what I was told regarding this mantra sadhana process..
2 years back when I wanted to learn astrology I was told that it’s better to abstain from non veg but that was something I couldn’t do in any case.. my 1 to 100 favourite food items are non veg itself.. 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️ and i didn’t understand why i should not eat non veg.. anyhow i reached a point where i could prepare chart using mathematical calculations and could say something at least.. all get satisfaction and say that I’m saying so well.. but i couldn’t get satisfaction.. some deep insufficient feeling in my heart then i found this blog magically one day.. within one month of reading this blog i could abstain from non veg completely.. I came to understand so many things more clearly with evidence after I found this blog..
The one who is learning astrology, Manasa, Vachana, Karmena must follow a disciplined life.. then it seems like abstaining from non veg is not a big deal, and everyone comes with some baggage to this world means some addictions, weaknesses so i had to examine what my weakness without partiality and should work on that with self efforts (purushardam) i.e 3rd house along with intoxicated faith in parabrahma..
There are always so many distractions to deviate me from this disciplined spiritual path.. even today when i saw Shweta ji comments i wanted to comment here as i have free time today but again it takes 3 to 4 hours easily to think and predict and type so it’s hard process it involves efforts so avoiding this is better and comfortable but after witnessing how Tejaswini mam doing this much along with her other responsibilities, i felt ashamed of my laziness and started typing this comment..
Every day is a battle for me to keep buddi is in control, then only secrets of this divine knowledge can be revealed to my brains.. then only i can help to myself and others
So this is what I came to understand from this blog..
Just for learning astrology one must follow these many rules and disciplined life means i always think how great our ancient sages and gurus are!!!!
I was taught that a true Guru means he/she must attain siddhi over sadhana mantras first and then only they are eligible to give deeksha to their disciples..
And the one who got siddhi, there’s no need of lies, money, cheating, romance, pride, materialistic desires, manipulations, fame, success etc etc etc
Because that guru or any person directly has connection with God/parabrahma.. the one who tastes the glimpse of permanent happiness never ever seeks for temporary materialistic stuff and pleasure of senses..
So I always think that it’s hell hard to find a true Guru these days..
And coming to your chart positive aspects now.. your asc lord in 5th house it’s a good sign.. if you utilise your energy in a good way, you can achieve so much in this lifetime.. and it will be useful in your later lives too.. After this displeased process you might get rapid spiritual growth..
And asc ketu never allows the past to go.. he keeps us staying in the past.. and it’s no use even if it’s our past connection or not.. everyone and everything is interlinked into our past only.. maybe I owed something to you that’s why I have to say this to you..
That’s it.. I completed my task with God’s grace.. it’s over.. what will be the use of thinking who is this Shweta ji ? Why should I owe her? What might it be ? Is this my past karma or new karma ?
Do I really need these many questions?? 👆🏻👆🏻
What will I get if I invest my emotions in people or places ?? Simply, it binds us to take more births.. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ so please try to observe your thoughts.. let it go..
You found this blog means all your 9 planets helped you to show a good path to lead parabrahma whatever the process is..🤞🏻
I tried my best to answer your questions as per my basic level knowledge..
I wish you good luck.. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
And my due apologies if i said anything wrong, kindly ignore this comment..🙏🏻
And Tejaswini mam, kudos to your patience to handle these many different questions all the time and especially for your typing speed.. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
What might be your IQ levels mam..!!! 🙂
You are an amazing person mam..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’m tired mam 🥱😅
Thank you for being so incredible..!! 🔥🔥
I’ll forever be grateful for the encouragement you gave me when I needed it… 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dear Sir/ ma’am (For Gratitude and Tesjasvini ma’am)
How can I learn Astrology..or Occult ? The interest in it doesn’t go away and keeps increasing. The only problem is my background and friend/work circle. Hardly anyone has ever heard the word occult let alone any knowledge on it :/.
My 2 Gurus are in 8th house and it’s a tight conjunct. I am forever swinging between extremes. How to channelise it. How to find my Guru or someone who can guide me in this life. Also I realize now that to balance my 4th house I need to balance both the energies of Saturn and Mars. I need to disciplined and at the same time aggression and impulsiveness of Mars has to be properly channelised. What is the significance when both the Gurus sit in a tight conjunct in 8th house. Some insight in this would be helpful. Venus and Jupiter in Aries in Ashwani nakshatra ruled by Ketu. Also my Mars Mahadasha is ending this month..and THANK GOD FOR THAT ! It was 7 years of turbulence

shri sukta once a day
BG at least 1 or more verses if you can recite it sincerely/regularly in Sanskrit / day
do this with the intention of meeting a proper Atmajnyani Guru. if you are sincere about it, it will happen.

what do you mean by ‘occult’ ? i do not approve of ‘occult’ practices which are used for material gains, they eventually backfire and spectacularly.
If it is tantra you mean, then it needs the backup of Vedant.
the reason why there are very few genuine Tantriks is because no one wants to read/understand what the Devi Lalita or Devi Kali or the Mahavidyas, or Bhagwan Mahakaal really mean. and this you cannot understand unless you understand the Vedant.
you cannot work with energy unless you know what it really is!
So hold on to BG and Shri Sukta. this combo is the best of both worlds, wisdom and practice.

Yes I meant Tantra. I am connected to Devi and Shiv ji. Everytime I pray to them tears flow and I start crying like anything. I was initiated into Sri Vidhya Sadhna. And I want to grow more into my Sadhna but most importantly need tips on how to balance the conflicting influence of my planets. Ma’am could you be kind enough to tell me why my heart is always looking for settling down? I have lived in denial for long and have avoided relationships and those that I haven’t avoided have resulted only in sheer pain. Is it some past life desire I have carried in this life ? My desire is to have a family and take care of it. I desire it the most. But how will it ever get fulfilled?

Hi there
i do not want to comment on your initiation.
Ketu/Rahu in the 1/7.. you are always attracted to the other / partner but you never look at your own self.
unless you appreciate your self, that hunger will remain.
so, this may sound silly, but it works. the easiest way is to
wear nice clothes, accessories, shoes, jewellery, some lipstick, a nice haircut, etc. appreciate your physical self.
appreciate your mind, think of your achievements and congratulate yourself.
appreciate your achievements, your education, job etc
look at yourself in the mirror for a few mins everyday.
become aware of your self.

Hi there
it is the kindest and gentlest form of the Shri Vidya sadhana,
listen to it, recite it, read it again and again, trust it.
if your mind can resonate with it, u will get what you want.
and it is very easy, Shri Devi is utterly utterly beautiful, kind, wise, she is everything you want to become.. and her Sukta will do it.
the path (sukta) is as beautiful as the destination (Shri)
so enjoy the Sukta, it will reveal itself/ your own self to you. only condition is you have to be sincere about it and want it from the core of your heart.

Thank you so much for your valuable time and inputs 🙏🙏🙏 I am amazed that how accurately you have predicted my planetary placements. I will try and study in detail and may be that will help me understand things better. Betrayal is not a good feeling esp if the blind faith has been shattered but by Maa’s grace I found this blog and as I mentioned earlier I just can’t stop reading it !!! My inclination towards Sprituality is increasing day by day and I come from a very non religious background so I think I was a bit naive when it came to the trusting thing. Nevertheless I learnt things. May be this is how Maa wanted to teach me. 🙏

Saturn and Mars together sit in 4th house and I now understand why I have always faced so much friction at home. Esp from my Mother. My Sun is in 6th and I am in a way fulfilling a karmic debt towards my father which I have a hunch is almost done now. I was born on Purnima, and Moon is in 12th..so as a result, imagination is my second nature. I am very very susceptible to energies and usually stay quiet most of the times. Even writing here publicly required lot of guts. For as long as I can remember,my mind and heart has been set on settling down with someone as it seems like some past life pending karma but as my Rahu sits in 7th house.. relationships are always a bitter experience. I am constantly swinging between extremes.. I want to be isolated but my environment keeps pulling me to relationships (Parental, siblings etc )
And you are right we do look outside what we don’t get in our home. So could you tell me how to let go of this bitter experience? And how to make peace that relationship will never work for me. I want to progress spiritually but I have no one to guide me. My background is very different and no one is remotely interested or involved in any Saadhna process. How to find our Guru in this life ?
Also, Tejasvini ma’am is doing a wonderful job ! Thank you 🤗

Hi there
average length of a post is about 2000 words.
i need about 1hr to type the words in the scrivener.
and maybe 1hr more to format add pics, format the post etc on the blog’s website.
Depends on the topic.
if its a prediction post then i have to think more so that i cover all the signs/possibilities adequately.
if it is Vedant or Tantra, then it is faster 🙂

Hi there
one must study the Shastra only under the guidance of the Guru or at least an Acharya or at the very least under a genuine Brahmin.
if any of these three are not available in your life then you must read only the Sanskrit texts, even if you do not understand them.
in my blog i urge everyone to read at least one BG shlok per day only in Sanskrit.
do it sincerely and you will find a genuine teacher with time.
BG is the essence of all the Vedant. Shri Krishna says this several times in the BG that he is not saying anything new, everything is already there in the Ved.
So the teacher must be able to teach with underlying foundation of the Vedant.
this means that the teacher must have read and understood the basic 10 upanishads from Isha to Bruhataranyak, ie read the Bhashyas that Adi Shanakracharya has written on them. In fact, the Prasthan traya, ie the Upanishad (at least the 10), BG and the Brahmasutra (at least the first 4 sutra), need to be understood thoroughly.
only then is he qualified to comment/ teach/ translate the BG.
anyone else commenting on the BG, Vedant, Brahmasutra should be ignored.
Since i am commenting on the BG, here is my background.
i have been listening to pravachans on the vedant since i was born 🙂 My parents would regularly take me to my Guru’s pravachans. Then I starting reading the Upanishads/ BG when in school. read the basic Brahma sutra when i was in college. read the shankarbhashyas on the upanishads, BG and brahmasutra when i was in my 20s. .. and even now i dip into the Bhashyas very often just for the sheer pleasure of the words and the concepts expressed so beautifully by the Swami …
this shlok is the second half of the BG 9 – 32
What exactly is a Stri? Vaishya? Shudra?
these are definitions for certain mindsets (not groups of people nor sex)
these 3 mindsets have serious obstacles in their path to Moksh.
stri – the mindset where there is extreme attachment to the family, involvement in the people, emotional dependence, desire to interfere in lives of others in the family. a mind obsessed by the affairs of the family is a ‘stri’. a biological man can also have such a mindset, then for the purposes of this shlok he will be a ‘stri’.
Vaishya – an extremely rajasic mindset. even if someone is born in a Brahmin family, but is interested in accumulating money, gold, wealth etc, he is a Vaishya by the mindset, very rajasic and thus in a paap-yoni,
Shudra – a highly tamasic mindset. a mind engaged in physical activities, desiring to ‘produce’ things all the time. it does not want to make the effort to elevate the intelligence, to understand subtle wisdom etc.
all these three mindsets are unable to take Sanyas. ie try for Vivek and be prepared for Vairagya. try to gain the sadhan chatushteya samaptti and to desire Moksh.
this is a major obstacle (paap-yoni) in the path to moksh.
for these people too, if they start with the basic 1st level ‘Bhakti’, with time, moksh is possible.
‘yoni’ has a very typical meaning in the vednat, it means ‘ignorance’. ‘paap’ means an obstacle.
that is why study BG only under a qualified teacher only who teaches on the foundation of the vedant.
he will start with the basic BG, then the 10 Upanishads + their bhashya, then the BG bhashya and the Brahma sutra + bhasya..
this is the study course for a student of a vedant. and will take at least 15-20yrs.

Hi Shweta,
You are always guided whether you have a Guru in physical form or not. Atleast that has been my experience. The guidance could be from your Higher Self, Ishta Devata or from Parabrahma. Be aware of and acknowledge the guidance in your life and stay grateful. If it is meant to be, you will find your Guru in a physical form. But don’t get hung on a physical form, use whatever information is coming your way, see if it is of value and apply it in your life. If the information is of an occult nature don’t try it blindly. Because there is a lot of misinformation floating around. There is a difference between reading anything and everything on the internet versus information coming specifically your way.
For me (and I am sure for numerous others as well), this blog has given immense learning. You can find the Guru tattva operating live here!
Goodluck!

I understand that we cannot have all the life answers in some Cheatsheet. We need to be patient. And trust the process. Coming to the Ishta Devta..how can we know who is our Ishta Devta ? I feel surge of emotions when I Pray to Maa and Shiv ji. They are one and same for me ( Ardhanareeshwar). Same is with Prabhu Ram. I consider him an unparalleled example of devotion and unrighteousness. So how can I know who is my Istha?
Thank you for your response though

Hi Shweta,
I have no idea. I think a person’s Ishta Devata will communicate with them if the Ishta Devata chooses to. It is sheer grace. You will intuitively know that communication. You just cannot miss that connection. In my case I was not even seeking my Ishta Devata and had no clue who S/He was. It just happened. Perhaps you have to develop yourself to reach a level where your Ishta Devata can come in your life.
My Ishta Devata helped me at a most difficult time of my life – my Sade Sati. The years before the Sade Sati, I was more spiritual than religious. I was doing my post graduation and meditating daily – sometimes 3ce a day. While doing my academic studies I was reading a lot – I was guided to one book after another. I was attending workshops and learning different healing techniques. I was also working on myself. I got some wonderful experiences. By the time I finished my studies and got a job I was still learning new things and working on myself. Sade Sati changed everything.
I had Ketu mahadasha going along with Sade sati. But I did not know this then. In midst of so much happening in my life visiting an astrologer never came to my mind. My dad fell ill for a long period and was hospitalized. He suffered complications and then died. My entire savings were wiped out in hospital expenses. Since I had a job, money came to me. Over a month later my beloved pet with whom I shared a psychic connection passed away. During this period I could feel no connection with the Divine. I had a warning dream 2 days before my dad passed. My mom fell seriously ill some months after my dad died and was hospitalized. During this entire time I was drained physically, mentally and emotionally. I could not even heal myself. There were many other events that stressed me. And after my mom fell ill I felt suicidal. Life had changed in a way which would never be like before. Years later I realized that an evil family member had been doing black magic on me and my parents during this time. My Ishta Devata helped me through a good friend. One day, from my mom’s hospital, I phoned an older friend to talk and just cried. I could not talk, I was so overwhelmed. She kindly couriered me a CD and a book of Shri Hanuman Chalisa and told me to just listen to it. I was listening to the CD in the morning, while traveling to & from office, while working at home and before sleeping. And when I woke up in the morning Shri Hanuman Chalisa would be playing in my head. In a day or two my suicidal thoughts passed, things got better slowly. In the coming months I was led to ways to heal my grief, my emotions, my beliefs, myself. It took me several years of working on myself to heal the trauma from this time. My mom never regained her health and I’m still taking care of her. I wish Tejaswini ji’s blog had existed then…. life would have turned out differently.
I have faced problems even after Sade Sati, but Sade Sati was like being buried in an avalanche of problems. When combined with an average mahadasha and bad planetary transits plus a lot of negativity sent my way it turned out to be a bad phase. Do try the numerous tools mentioned in this wonderful blog, they really help.
Since your Mars dasha is ending do check out the index of this blog and read the posts on Chidra dasha.
And do read the below post on Ishta Devata:-

Hello Shweta ji, I’m glad if my reading could trigger you to learn a few things..
And that’s sweet of you wishing me to write a blog.. 🙂 but i strongly feel that there is no need for any other blogs when we have this Epic blog.. 🔥🔥🔥
I’m a sincere basic level learner for this devine blog.. the way I shared articles to you for your chart patterns in the same way I share to my friends whenever they reach me.. and I personally witnessed the way this blog healed a few people who were troubling for years without understanding why they are like this..
No words to express that joy when we get answers and deep healing..✨✨✨✨
If i dare to express something here means i believe that Tejaswini mam is there to correct me so it’s all her encouragement..🙏🏻🙏🏻
Whatever the support I get from this blog I always share with others with so much respect and joy.. that’s my one and only wish and most favourite thing too 🙂
And Tejaswini mam,
It’s very fascinating to know about your vedanta background experience.. 👌🏻 🙂
Your interpretation about stri is amazing..👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I would like to listen more if i could ask you how you could understand mam ? I mean reading the upanishads/ bg when in school itself and Brahma Sutra in 20s itself ???
I know this very well that You are undoubtedly the most talented person but yet at a very young age how could one understand that we are not body but soul and understanding about tri gunas and importance of getting moksha and Leela of parabrahma etc etc etc..
Actually reading and explaining comes under talent but it won’t work with vedanta like that.. so 20 years young girl, without experiencing/knowing much about society’s second face and with an innocent heart how could she understand mam??
I know you are blessed but still would love to hear from you mam..
When you have leisure time, if these questions are worthy to answer, requesting you to say something as 5,6 years back when I read and heard through guru mukha explanations, a few vedanta concepts and BG I felt like I understood those.. but now when i again read or hear I’m understanding those more deeply and connecting very much and could apply those concepts in daily life.. feeling like I’m getting little little buddi now.. and still not sure of.. 😅
So now I would love to hear how you resonated with vedanta concepts when you were so young mam.. I hope I will get some inspiration/hints/clues through your experiences.. 🙂 🙏🏻
And my due apologies if I wasted your valuable time if these questions are not correct.. 🙏🏻
Having you here is the greatest gift God blessed us with.. Your kind is rare..✨🙌🏻 Thank you for everything..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi there
You analyse the charts systemically, so be confident about yourself. Do write your own blog if you want to, sharing knowledge is always good.
Do not apologise when asking Q, it shows a sense of low self-worth.
This is not my interpretation, it is from Shankarbhashya.
Listening to my Guru’s pravachans on pure Vedant, since I was a baby.
My family background, my grandparents, my parents and I married someone with the same mindset.
And I always had all the books. My Dad has all these books in his personal library. (Gita press) All in Sanskrit, with the Marathi translations. (Sanskrit is compulsory) Even the so called scary books eg Garud Puran 🙂
My collection of books (now in pdf), is very extensive and I read a lot.
Jyotish and law both have been quite useful. After seeing so many charts/people in their karmic messes, one does try to find for that ultimate which guarantees complete happiness and removal of sorrow.
I was never a ‘child’ ‘girl’, nor was I ‘innocent’ in that sense. Do not think of me like that. I saw the serious side of life very early in life and I have handled situations and done things, which generally people cannot imagine. I live a very pragmatic life and I have no expectations from anyone. eg My best friend is caught in his own issues, so can I expect him to give me ‘happiness’?
And I do not interfere in other’s lives nor do I allow others to interfere in mine. eg I won’t tell my best friend that he is falling into a ditch unless he asks me the Q. And after I give him a reading, if he continues, I won’t interfere in his decision/life.
I am very clear about my purpose. The rest of it automatically falls in place.
Try to develop your Buddhi, ie aim for a ‘prashodit Buddhi’. If you can achieve this, your vedantic progress is assured.
I write as a part of my panchamahayajnya efforts, not for anyone else.
If you are benefited from this blog, it is your own horoscope at work.

Thank you for your encouragement to ask questions without asking for apologies.. 🙏🏻 actually i feel very uncomfortable, if i waste other’s valuable time mam that’s why when i become totally helpless then only ask questions here.. this is something i have been holding for months without asking you mam.. 👇🏻👇🏻 could you please shed some on light on this..🙏🏻
When you used to say “treat your Manas” as we live this life under Manas..
I really couldn’t understand this at the start but slowly now I’m getting and i trying something and kindly requesting you correct me..🙏🏻
Mind means humans emotions, perceptions, experiences and the way we feel our life.. so if we compare this with planet’s nature like below when afflicted..👇🏻
1.kama = Venus (desires, lust)
2.krodha= Mars (anger, no patience)
3.Lobha = mercury ( greediness, without dhana gun)
4.moha = moon ( delusion, attachment, to satisfy mind going to any extent)
5.mada = Sun (pride, ego)
6.Matsarya = Saturn ( jealousy, envy bcz of practical thinking of Saturn, people might understand that they can’t get it in their life so started feeling envy towards others..)
Jupiter = show off their knowledge, so many outside rituals but no deep tattva Gyan..
Fire signs
*Aries, Leo, Sagittarius*
Driven by passion and inspiration.. as fire is the element of the spirit so these people while achieving their goals they might act as impulsive..
Earth signs
*Taurus, Virgo, capricorn*
Practical and rich and grounded
being present in the moment. Its energy is practical, grounded, and more oriented to the material world than the other signs..
Air signs
Gemini, Libra, acquiris
Air is the element of the mind
Social, communication oriented, connecting with others, logical and less emotionally detached
Water signs
*Cancer, scorpio, pieces*
Water is the element of the heart. Like the watery tears of joy or sadness, most about sensitive sides, intuition, more spiritual practices..
So based on the above points if the planets and the signs are afflicted they are suffering with respective emotions/insecurities.. ??
Even though planets are exalted, if they are enemies to lagna lord and hold 6,8 and 12 they give both materialistic/spiritual achievements and suffer with these emotions/insecurities.. ??
Now the important three gunas, sattva, rajo and tamo gunas which always influence the human mind.. 👇🏻
Sometimes Sattva has the upper hand over Rajasthamogunas, sometimes the Rajo Guna dominates the sattvatamogunas And sometimes Tamoguna overcomes Sattvarajo Gunas..
So Nature of a single person varies in these three qualities. Physical energy has these three qualities and our mind is made up of this same energy. Hence, these three qualities are also present in our mind. These can be compared to three wrestlers facing each other. Each knocks the other two down, so sometimes the first is on top, sometimes the second, sometimes the third. Similarly, each of these three qualities has a greater influence on a person’s disposition. Depending on the external conditions, inner thought, and previous birth rites, each guna will prevail at one time or another. There is no rule as to how long the effect lasts – a guna can last from a moment to an hour on the mind.
When sattva guna prevails, a person is calm, contented, benevolent and happy. When Rajo Guna is dominant, the person is passionate, eager to achieve goals, jealous of others’ success and interested in sensual pleasures. When Tamo guna prevails, there is excessive sleep, laziness, hatred, anger, rage, violence and mistrust.
For example, suppose when we are sitting in a library and studying. There is no worldly confusion, and our mind becomes sattvic. If we start watching TV after finishing our studies, all that we see in it will make your mind rajasic, and increase your craving for sensual pleasures. If while we are watching our favourite channel, a family member comes and changes the channel, this disturbance will increase the tamo quality in the mind, and we will be filled with anger. Thus, the mind oscillates between these three gunas and ascribes to them their natures.
So based on the above points, no escapism to anyone truly until and unless having dedicated spiritual sadhana and intoxicated faith in parabrahma..
Btw mam i tested myself based on the above points and after so many trials without partiality finally i came to understand with what kinds of insecurities/emotions I’m suffering genuinely..
I tried to help people with my sample charts but honestly no one is ready to understand and fix things but asking for quick and instant remedies..
And mam treating Manas of the people means like this mam based on 3 gunas and emotions which are interlinked to respective planets and signs ?? Is this the correct way ?? If any, other than this please give me some clues mam.. 🙏🏻
And mam, the biggest reason for coming with all this homework at this moment is, I’m not getting how to withdraw myself when my family/friends don’t take required actions to protect themselves for upcoming events when Vidhya allows me to predict.. 😦
Recently, I had to read one of my friends’ friend charts after she requested a lot, then I came to know that she is going to face a severe Apamruthyu life threat..
(Her 2,7 maraka stanas activated and Saturn also afflicted in birth chart and paap grahas coming to occupy janana kala stithi) but she is not ready to take any required actions, this is also her chart said.. but even i tried my best to counsel her.. but finally she is not ready to change her decision.. Here I remembered Vivek Chudamani concepts and I left that topic…
But I think somewhere still it’s in my heart as this time it’s about life and death situation and feeling like when astrology allows me to predict future events but our dear ones don’t listen or are unable to avoid a few events it hurts me mam.. 😦 😦 😦 😦 😐 😐😐😐😐😐😐
God is so kind, he always protects me and he gives me so much satisfaction when i could help my dear ones through astrology.. 💗
But these days I simply avoided all my contacts and uninstalled WhatsApp and thought of changing my number too just for my personal space or peace as with this confusion i have in my mind, i don’t like to be in touch with anyone.. I know I’m hurting my buddies/beloved ones/mentors and they miss me and they feel bad.. 😦
But mam what to do.. I’m not getting.. I requested my favourite deity and shared with her everything and made the decision that I’m going to hurt some satvik persons because of withdrawing my presence in their lives because of my confusion/discomfort.. 😦
I must say this to you that you already prepared me so well to handle so much and you showed me how to reach my ishta devata’s hrudaya whenever I feel happy/sad.. but here I stopped these days mam it’s because of my current transit of planets too.. the amount of maturity I’m getting all at once is a bit overwhelming for me..
It seems like astrology is part of me. Even if I want to, I cannot avoid that because it’s a true vidhya.. it made me help many people.. and moreover it helped me alot to understand myself so beautifully.. it’s a treasure given by Parasara maharshi for our mankind..🙏🏻
But just because of my sensitivity or lack of sufficient maturity I’m feeling some discomfort at this period of my life now mam.. 😐😐😐
That’s why I asked you how you handled everything so well during your childhood mam.. 🙏🏻 it’s truly truly inspiring reading your experiences.. Most of the time it gives clues to focus on what I should do.. 🔥
I started a new habit which relates to my 5th house in my free time these days as i avoided all people now to get some more clarity or strength mam..

Hi there
We live our lives ‘inside’ our Manas. The sthool sharir is a projection within the sukshma sharir. Proof – physical body is inside the aura. The sukshma filters everything before it touches the sthool.
Yes, afflicted planets/signs are expressed like these mental tendencies.
eventually expressed as physical problems, diseases, poverty, etc.
Exactly.
Unless there is some support from the D9 or the other DC depending on the question.
good observations on gun.
Rare people these days have a strong 9th house birth/transit. Check your sample charts.
If purva punya does not support, what can you expect ?
Only way to ’treat’ Manas is Mantra.
Soham is the easiest, ‘cures’ everything.
Or several Vedic mantra fr planets are available fr daily practice.
You are not supposed to offer advice.
You answer only and only if you are asked a Q.
And even after you answer, if the person wants to continue, then you are supposed to leave it at that. You cannot interfere in other’s free will. If you do so, you will create negative karma for yourself.
Eg – Shri Krishna,
BG chapter 1 – Arjun is in the tamasic mindset, no wish to learn, wants to only shout and stick to his wrong thought process.
Shri Krishna is silent, not one word said.
Only in the BG 2 Shri Krishna speaks
First as a regular person, in 2/ 2-3 he severely scolds Arjun as any normal friend would.
2 /7-8-9 are the critical shlokas where Arjun’s mind turns rajasic, ie willing to learn (effect of the scolding in 2-3) Arjun asks Shri Krishna what can I do, tell me? I am your disciple.
Only then does Shri Krishna deliver the BG.
And after the entire BG, 18th chapter, in the last few shloks, he tells Arjun. ‘I have told you everything, now do whatever you want to do’.
If, by chance, Arjun would have said that he wanted to run away, then Shri Krishna would have promptly turned the chariot around and drove him out of the battlefield.
As a Jyotishi, you must cultivate this exact ‘Shri Krishna mindset’.
Tell the client/ friend everything to the best of your ability. But only after he has asked you the Q and is willing to listen. Also after listening to you, the choice of action is his alone, your role is over.
It is not your life, not your decision, not your action. His consequences not yours.
Do not get too attached to the charts/people. If you cannot cultivate this dispassionate mindset then do not study other’s charts.
Delve deeply into yours alone.
This Saturn transit has started showing its colors.
Saturn – Jupiter – Rahu,
Paap kartari at work.
Observe the events.
Jyotish is a Vedang.
Use it to delve into the Ved .. that is its real use.
Using it to only make predictions fr others is like using only 1% of its capacity.
What is the ‘Jyoti’? Who is the ‘Ish’? What really is the zodiac? What do the 9 graha + lagna really represent?
This is the dance of the nakshatra, rashi, bhava, graha and lagna on the map of Time.. learn to appreciate it for its pure beauty..
We are Daivedjnyas, Jyotishis.. not plain ‘astrologers’.

Hi Madam,
continuing with the same example that you gave,
if your friend doesn’t know if there’s a ditch ahead or if doesnt know that you have the ability to see the ditch, then he wont be able to ask.
in this case, isn’t it justified that you tell him even if he doesnt ask the question ( because he doesnt know about it).
or he can only ask if he has strong 9th house, which means nature has given him this “choice” to be able to save himself from the ditch, via you?
I mean, why so much stress has been given on advising only if the question is being asked? is the same principle to be followed for family members?
thanks

Hi there
Everyone has that much sense of self preservation. Even small children have common sense.
And if that person has a good 9th house, he will get help during his time of need, from wherever.
Just because I can see other’s charts does not mean that I am responsible for others! Why should i put my hands into the mess that these others make? Even if they are my ‘friends’?
I check the charts of my immediate family – parents, spouse, child and take corrective actions if needed. That is all.
For, friends/ extended family members, I answer only if they ask me a Q. Clients i do not take anymore. Money, I never charged.
And if i do not wish to answer then i directly refuse to see the chart/person.
No one can force a Jyotishi to see a chart. Be very clear on this.
The chart’s 9th house determines if the person will be able to get help from Jyotish. Always and without exception.
Shri Krishna was supportive of his cousin Pandavs, best friend Arjun all through but he did not interfere in their lives. He did give advice when they asked for it.
Don’t forget that he also helped his cousin Duryodhan. Duryodhan requested him to give him his army and the Narayani Sena fought for Duryodhan. And Shri Krishna himself ensured the deaths of his own army, by helping Arjun, when Arjun asked him to become his charioteer.
Dharma is very sukshma. Do not over think.
Offering advice / help when you are not asked for it will land you in trouble in the future. Try it out for yourself and see what happens.

Hi Madam,
while doing any mantra jap, how to take care of one’s mental/emotional state/well being, and not get swayed by the emotions/emotional outbursts? I have read the post (https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2021/09/19/mantra-pujas-the-dos-and-donts/)
I am putting in a bit of a context, you can delete it if you feel so.
E.g. i happened to have a small quarrel with someone over a very trivial topic. it appeared trivial, when i tried to think about it afterwards. but while it was ongoing, it felt insulting, and one generally responds emotionally, and not logically.
also, i am bad at arguing with people, means i generally get overpowered because of many reasons like i am not vocally, physically dominating/intimidating and everytime such an event happens and you are at receiving end, it feels like another defeat. And, then you remember all such series of incidences from beginning and the inferiority ( meaning one is not good enough at something) keeps on mounting.
1. how to break this cycle, if possible?
2. during such incidences, is it possible that one may intend bad for/curse the other person and it can create negative karma and especially if someone is practising a mantra, the impact on both the parties can be huge?
thanks a lot

Hello Tushar ji,
I’m just a basic level learner and still there is a lot to learn for full fledged readings..
I don’t know why I was drawn to read one of the reader charts here suddenly.. and I didn’t express full predictive analysis.. I just tried to give the areas where she has to work, that’s it based on my limited knowledge..
And i don’t think i can help you to come to conclusions at this moment.. sorry for the inconveniences.. Please do not consider it as clear No, whenever I feel like I read some sample charts to understand some patterns then definitely I will try to ask you here.. 🙂
But before that i would like to say a few things, if you share your DOB details publicly it drains your 9th house energy.. and if vidya wants to let you know then only it reveals a few things I’m just a mere tool.. If I’m not, someone else will come to let you know… 🙂
And whatever the chart patterns you mentioned, everything is available in this blog only. I have been learning from here itself and I couldn’t tell anything beyond this blog.. and every astrologer has some limits, everything should not be shared..
And Tejaswini mam, at first I didn’t understand why you stopped your readings.. But slowly while learning this wonderful science I understood better why you encourage us to learn this human science.. Hundred crore pranams to you for sharing this happiness with us through your writings..💗🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
And Tushar ji, I hope you will come to conclusions by yourself, through using this blog’s information, before I reach you here.. 🙂
Once again sorry for the inconveniences and good luck for your self study 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Good evening Ma’am 🙏
I want to ask you how can I know who is my Istha Devta? Also, how can I learn Astrology?
One thing more about my chart.. if you can be kind enough to shed some light/insight then it will save me a lot of energy which I can use elsewhere.
Rahu is about 0 degrees of Pisces in Poorva bhadrapada Nakshatra in 7th house and Ketu is in same degrees in uttara phalguni Nakshatra in 1st house
Venus and jupiter in 8th house in Aries..ashwani Nakshatra ruled by Ketu.
And Mars and saturn in 4th. Mercury in 5th
Is marraige on the cards ? Or should I give up ? I am now almost about to reach middle age. Can astrology predict how my husband would be.. husband is Guru and my Jupiter sits in the 8th house. Is it some past life karma which I am fulfilling by not getting married ? I have always believed in soulmates and there has always been a desire to be connected to my soulmate but life has taken a completely different turn for me in last few years. It didn’t turn out the way I wanted or expected. How one can know what pending Karma they have in this lifetime?
I hope I get some insight on this from you. 🙏

The above are 1 billion likes deserving words.. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I couldn’t see jyotish in that brilliant way.. I am simply stuck with the prediction part, past and future karmas stuff and helping people only..
Now you introduced me to the real use of jyotish to understand Vedas.. it sounds so interesting and gives me some hope as i really felt bad for not knowing how to utilise this vidhya after facing such a few incidents..
“”””We are Daivedjnyas, Jyotishis.. not plain ‘astrologers’.””””

This feeling is giving me oxygen mam… i got some peace now.. 🙂
I literally avoided everyone just because of lack of sufficient awareness of how to utilise my favourite knowledge.. that much it disturbed me mam.. 😦
I don’t know how to utilise this knowledge to delve into Vedas as of now mam.. but again today once again you showed me a beautiful way.. I hope this clue is enough for me to start again.. 🙂 🙏🏻🙏🏻
And the way you connected gunas with BG is just OSM 👌🏻✨✨🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻
I got a clear picture now.. when one acts based on a tamo gun i should be silent..
If those are my own dear ones/family even i should be silent if they won’t listen and i pray for their well being isn’t it mam ??
And just one more general observation I would like to share regards evil eye and energy vampires..
if and when most of the people couldn’t meet society’s basic ‘terms & conditions’ like complete studies, getting job, getting married at right age, next children, own home, status etc etc they pressurised like hell and will it lead to envious/evil eye/ and vibing with negative energy??? Then who’s responsible for cultivating that kind of pressure on people who are not lucky enough to have everything in life at the right time.. ???
Most of the sattva guna people might face external disturbances alot and not all are lucky enough to keep their sattva guna after facing few incidents in life and even if they want to, most of the envious people don’t allow them.. 🤦🏻♀️
I recently came to understand all these things when Saturn transits in my janma Tara..
And i feel like every home must have a Tejaswini mam..If you are in everyone’s life, how beautiful everyone’s life and society will be!!! you are a diamond mam.. more valuable than kohinoor.. 💎 I’m not praising you but telling you the truth honestly.. 🔥🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bowing down before your sattva guna..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi there
“gunas with BG “ is from Shankarbhashya
Read the BG, it will show the way.
Praying is always a good thing. Do it if you want to.
And also to pray for everyone, “satvetra sukhinah… “ or “asato maa…”
Putting undue pressure/emotionally torturing anyone invites negative karma.
Do not think of me like this. It is not good and can create ego/attachment.
Bow down before the Bhagwan Vishnu/Devi Laxmi, Satva Guna.. that would be a better option.

Hi Gratitude
In your reply to Tushar you mentioned that I have to work upon some areas. So I am assuming that would be 7th house right ? Sense of identity ! Also, as Jupiter and Venus sit in 8th house in Aries ruled by mars in ashwani Nakshatra. and ketu is in lagna..does that mean I have some pending life karma? Mars and saturn are in 4th and my Mangal mahadasha will end this month and Rahu mahadasha will start now. Should I expect more illusions ? How can I know what karmic desire I have carried to this life and fulfil it ? Is it sense of identity or is it marraige ?and how do we predict future husband’s nature from astrology. Learning astrology is not easy and it will take time but I do understand the basics of my chart to some extent. So could you help me out with this? You have been extraordinarily kind in replying earlier and I am expecting and hoping that you’ll be kind enough to reply again 😊
