Venus Saturn and relationships in 2023

As per the Ved there are two major reasons why we are unable to perceive our own Reality. One is the desire which leads to confusion – Moha and the second is fear which leads to restrictions – Bhaya.

In astrological terms these are the graha, Venus and Saturn. So when you study your sample horoscopes, if you see any connection between Saturn and Venus take a few more minutes to study it. Also if you see an ongoing Saturn/Venus dasha combination, analyse it further. Finally significant Saturn Venus transits and aspects also have the ability to really mess up lives.

A quick post today because of a personal experience yesterday. I went through a very confusing evening before realising why my mind was inexplicably in such turmoil. Venus had entered Aquarius in the afternoon and with Saturn already present there, everything was caught in a strange twist of attraction and repulsion.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

Venus and Saturn are conjunct every year for about 28 days. This year Venus will remain in Aquarius till 15th Feb 2023. During this time whatever Venus signifies in your chart will see restrictions, separations, pain and suffering. Eg if he is your Ascendant lord then you may fall ill, feel depressed and unable to think on what you want to do. If he is your 5th lord then your boyfriend/girlfriend might dump you. If he is your 7th lord then your loved one might ignore you or be temporarily separated from you. If he is your 11th lord then your expected gains might be delayed, your friends will cause you pain etc.

Venus is the natural lord of the 2nd and 7th houses, ie your resources, money flow, spouse, legal agreements, business partnership, meditative practices, marak etc. He is also incharge of all the desirable things in life, the beauty and the joy that comes when you live your life to the fullest. So, with Saturn influencing Venus, all these beautiful aspects of your life will suffer from a strange melancholy. You might feel fearful about losing these things for no real reason, or suddenly stop trusting these loved ones in your life or suffer from a fear of being abandoned by your closest love/ relationship. Separation emotional/ physical from your loved one/ spouse is likely. You might permanently or temporarily lose that one person who loves you the most or the one you love the most. So be careful in the matters of the heart. Avoid arguments with your loved one during this time. Recognise the efforts that your loved one makes for you and try to reciprocate even if you do not feel like it. Satisfaction and genuine emotional support in your love relationships will be missing. Also you may not be able to tell your loved one how much you love him. Avoid brief flings which can spoil things with your true love. There will be an undercurrent of guilt, suffering and internal loneliness.

Loss of money is possible during this time. So if you are thinking of investments, check everything twice before committing yourself. You will want to hold on to material resources, money and desire physical security during this time. And it is possible that you will neglect your spiritual practice. Your family will cause you pain or loss. Be careful if acting under pressure from your family members.

If you meet new people during this time it will be more for social interactions, through the family connections etc. It would be best to keep these people at this basic social level, do not bring them closer into your life, into your heart. As finding new love interests or genuine friends or people on the same mental frequency as you, during this time, is unlikely. These new people will most likely be your enemies from your past lives here to teach you a deep karmic lesson, hitting you on your relationships, desires, spiritual practice and your desire to be intimate, to love and be loved equally in return.

This year, Saturn had just entered Aquarius so today, in just one day, Venus crossed him, ie won the graha yuddha, planetary war. Technically, now Venus has more power to deliver his results. But Saturn owns Aquarius, is in his own mooltrikon and capable of strong results. He will not yield to Venus so easily and subtly continue to affect his significations. Similarly Venus will also subtly vitiate Saturn’s significations.

We can also use the Nakshatra transits to fine tune their balance of power / results in Aquarius. Saturn is in Dhanishtha till 15th Mar. Venus will be in Dhanishtha till 28th Jan, then in Shatataraka till 7th Feb and in Poorvabhadrapada after that. Their connected planets, Dhanishtha – Mars is in Taurus, Shatataraka – Rahu is in Aries and Poorvabhadrapada – Jupiter is in Pisces. Currently Rahu and Jupiter are under Saturn’s influence. So when Venus enters Shatataraka and Poorvabhadrapada again he will be subtly more under Saturn’s influence. Saturn is the king of this year, controlling everything from his own signs.

Back to Venus. After exiting Aquarius and his close conjunction with Saturn, Venus will enter Pisces and remain here till 12th Mar. He will be exalted and willing to give good results but during this time, he will be conjunct Jupiter, who rules Pisces, and both the Devguru and Daityaguru will now be in an intense Paap kartari of Saturn and Rahu. This too will be a turbulent period where the significations of Venus and Jupiter both will suffer. Jupiter and Venus is also a typical combination which leads to internal stress (post here) and the Saturn – Rahu paapkartari, ‘cruel scissor’ combination, will cause more mental stress during this period. A lack of guidance, misguidance and mental chaos is likely for most of us. You might see situations trying to give you gain, might feel that the fruit of your hard work is finally in your hands but Saturn – Rahu will not let you enjoy this.

And after all this drama, Venus will enter Aries and remain here till 6th Apr. This time he will be with his disciple Rahu and aspecting his other disciple Ketu. Conflicting desires, illusions, fear and uncertainty as the typical Venus – Rahu conjunction will be aspected by Saturn in Aquarius. Saturn’s extra 3rd 10th aspects are generally more intense. Keep your ambitions on a sensible level, do not cheat, lie, conceal things, hurt others for your own gain. Do not engage in flings and immoral activities. Saturn will not allow this and you will be required to suffer for this later. If you have a spiritual mindset, you will be able to use the energy of Venus – Ketu to tide over else Venus-Rahu will trap your mind in extravagant illusions of desire ultimately causing your fall.

f65e95218e71dc0c34456f56afc299bb

Another point is that Saturn will get combust from 5th Feb to 14th Mar. Generally we do not give much significance to Saturn’s combustion but this time we must factor in this too. Father and son, Sun and Saturn are not on good terms. And Sun will be combusting Saturn in his own mooltrikon, in his own rashi. The contrary natures of Sun and Saturn and being forced to endure each others presence will be too much for both of them. All significations of Sun and Saturn in the charts will suffer. Saturn in his mooltrikon is capable of giving good results but Sun will constrain him from doing so. And an uncomfortable, burnt out Saturn influencing the other planets is going to cause even more discomfort for all of us.

    Hello Tejaswini ji, Pranam
After reading this post, I was wondering, as a self-study student of astrology, am I learning and walking the right path? May I still need to work more on my interpretations of Grah chaal, Grah Yuddha and which one wields more power than another.

I learnt, that these 3 important Grahas, “Shani, Guru and Rahu” control major parts of one’s kundli. Their transits are of utmost importance.

This year, Guru being in paap-kartari yog, between Rahu and Shani.
Shani’s aspect of the 3rd house and 10th house, has already inflicted pains in 8 rashis of out of 12.

So, Shani is Bhaya, Guru is Gyaan (Wisdom) and Rahu is Bram (confusion) has already messed up lots of lives. Now, when Venus (Moha) transits and conjuncts with each one of them, does it not increase the basic characteristic of each of them?

Say, fearless love will increase in Venus-Shani conjunction or Gyaan (wisdom) would increase during conjunction of Jupiter-Venus, though people will be feared (bhaya) to share it with others. or Moha over simple things will increase when Rahu-Venus’s conjuncts?

Help me understand this in slight detail. And guide me where I am wrong in understanding it?
    1. Will Venus still affect someone, if he is creating Malavya Yog in kendra house or ascendant house?
    2. What happens, if Saturn is sitting in good houses as per ascendant kundli, like 3rd house, 10th house, 11th house?
    3. I feel Nakshatras heavily affect your emotional and decision-making powers, Is my understanding correct?
    4. If someone does not have Shatbhisha nakshatra in his / her chart.
Do these transits (aka Venus, Shani) still affect them?

Seeking your answer and guidance to know more.

    Regards
    Kinshuk Joshii

      Hi there
it is really encouraging to read this.
keep on reading, analysing the charts/people around you.

      1. yes. if the original venus is strong, then the transits will not cause too much of an imbalance.

      2. then he will give power or reduce disturbance in some way. ie will be helpful
eg if your asc is libra/taurus, and birth saturn is well placed, you might gain political power or at least be recognised in your social group for something.

      3. yes,
check out the nakshatra of each one of your birth planets and lagna and see how you behave in the areas that these planets indicate.
thats why we study the navamsha in so much detail. they are linked to the nakshatra quarters.

      4. Everyone will have the shatabhisha nakshatra in their chart. it will become more relevant if it has a graha or has the asc degree or the center of the house lying in it.

nakshatra are the subtle things. most people are not aware of these influences.

but generally everyone is aware of the rashi-level influences.
yes the transits will affect everyone.

    Hi ma’am,
I have heard that when Saturn is combust, it is actually Sun who gets more harm.. is that true?
I mean it is the hottest and coldest planet who are getting conjunct.
Also, why did you say “Generally we do not give much significance to Saturn’s combustion”?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
Both will affect each other. Positive/negative depends on functional role.
Eg libra asc . saturn is yogkarak. Sun is badhak.

Combustion of venus/jupiter has more practical implications as we do not perform shubh karya during this time.

    1) It says We should Meditate in sitting position..
But.. I read in a Yogi biography book going to samadhi state while sleeping..
    And.. Meditate in sleeping position..
    Is this possible..?

    2) If we sincerly complete in our worldly duties..
Is that shows any good influence on our kundali..
(Or) only inner meditation/Yogic methods could give good results to raise our kudali..

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      1. Do not take everything literally.
‘Nidra samadhi sthiti’ is a common concept.
If you can enter the karan sharir in a samadhi then it means that you have achieved it.
All of us enter karan sharir during sushupti.

      2. Gruhast – do pujas ie the nitya naimittika karma vedpurva
      Sanyasi – jnyan marg vedant
      Both are equally valid

    Hi Madam,

today being first day of Maagh Navratri, was going through your post on how to initiate a Devi anushthan

*you will need a silver moorti of Devi or the Shriyantra or the Meru as your focus. Light the ghee lamp, incense, offer flowers, saffron/sandalwood, 5 fruits or panchamrit (ghee, milk, curd, honey, coarse sugar/khadisakkhar in a silver/glass bowl), etc.*

if i offer, just the incense stick, flower and 5 fruits (of same variety) to devi mentally or the photo of devi on mobile/laptop, then this first step be complete?

    thanks

    Thank you for this!

I had a couple of clarifying questions:

    1) Saturn and venus are “friends”, so specifically in charts where BOTH venus and saturn have the ability to give good results ( i.e. libra/taurus ascendants, strong natal venus and saturn placements), can these individuals see positive results? Or are the negative impacts due to saturn’s natural significations inevitable and only their intensity is reduced if the birth chart is strong?

2)There are situations where I can see that spiritual activities which help control the mind might make these transits easier, especially as these transits have the potential to create stress, sadness, fear, etc. But in situations where deep karma is involved ( as you have noted people may come from past lives to teach a karmic lesson and to avoid becoming close with such people), in individuals with strong birth charts, can these individuals and new relationships formed be beneficial or have the potential to stay long term in our lives?

Thank you for your time and shubh navratri!

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      1. Yes.
The person will b able to absorb the disturbance and use it positively.
      2. People who have negative karmic link are rarely helpful. They always create turbulence. Mostly linked to the dushams.
But its possible that persons with strong charts can endure through the events tht these people trigger.

      Shubh Navratri

Dear mam, thank you for the post. I wanted to share my experience, given my Cancer lagna, Scorpio moon, Venus in Pisces, Jupiter in Libra, and going through the Saturn in 8th house transit currently, as well as Venus Mahadasha since 2018. It is difficult to even explain the levels of energy inside me, and none of that physical! If one can only describe a combination of intellectual energy, and a feeling of both tremendous (intellectual) power and frustration at not being able to find the right way to use it, so as to benefit society at large.

Seeking and acquiring knowledge (both through my PhD and through constant engagement with Vedanta) has made the frustration even worse, because I can’t seem to lead others to the same things that I can see clearly! Plus spending all my time trying to understand how the world works doesn’t help with advancing in one’s career, so one feels even more powerless. While I have never wanted a regular job, rather than wandering aimlessly in search of something satisfying, I have chosen a humanitarian career for myself. But even here people don’t care about the bigger picture or real suffering on ground. What do I do? How do I genuinely reach a place of external power in the world so I can make a difference through what I internally understand?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
first help yourself, do your Soham/ mantra/ daily practice. ie bring your mind to a level where it is stable and only then you will be able to understand what you are supposed to do.
external power is always a reflection of the internal power.

    Dear Madam,

1> I have one more question with regards to the activation of the navavarna mantra. I have timed myself and found that chanting 1 mala takes around 8 minutes. So within 45 minutes I should be able to chant around 5 mala. Is sitting quietly for the remainder of the hour enough to absorb the energy generated or do I have to sit for another 45 minutes?

2> Also, I don’t know if I should ask you this, but has the current head of the Siddhagirimath, Shri Adrushya Kaadsiddheshwar swamiji also realised the Absolute?
(On second thought, please delete this question, but please leave an answer if you can).

My Guru was the 26th Shri Kadsiddheswar. After his ‘physical death’ i stick to his words ie Vedant ie the upanishads Bhagwat gita Brahmasutra, ie the prasthan traya.
Every word my Guru spoke, even in one-one conversations was as per the vedant. His life was as per the jivanmuktanandalahari. The Gurustotra describes my Guru perfectly..

If u want to see if any person/ mathadhipati is a jivanmukta then listen to what he speaks. And the lifestyle he lives. His actions. U will b able to evaluate fr yourself.

Am so grateful to you for writing this post🙏🏻 Its a coincidence that I had a terrible moment of confusion earlier this week – I was lost and wondering how it happened! After reading your post I realised why.

I have a query not related to this post. Most times when I’m chanting a beej mantra (108 times) I find myself holding my breath till I have uttered the mantra 9 times. After 9th time I will inhale. And if the mantra is very short (Eg. 3 words) my breath is held for longer than 9 repetitions. I am not consciously or willfully doing it. It just happens. Is there any problem with this? Or is it a good thing?

    Lots of love and gratitude

I will share my experience, while doing japas. I recite specific mantras for at least 11 malas. I find my self out of breath many times. But everytime, I go out of breath, I inhale and wait for 1 minute (60 secs) and try to concentrate on the mantra.
I noticed, if I tend to speed up, while reciting..I have issues in misquoting the mantra and that’s where I go out of breath. Again this is my experience, try to find to yours…you will get the right answer.

        Hi Kinshuk,

Thanks a lot for your sharing🙏🏻 Much appreciate it🙂 I will try just the way you do. I will inhale, hold my breath for 60 seconds and then chant. In the past I did have an experience of uttering the mantra fast and making a mistake. But have been careful after that. I usually chant the mantra keeping count using my fingers. Most times, after I begin chanting I don’t focus on the mantra much (pronunciation specifically), I will focus on the count and the deity appearing in my mind and chant the mantra. I find that the mantra just flows easily, the pronunciation is also correct. It’s my breath movement I was wondering about. But Ma’am didn’t say anything about it, so I assume it’s ok.

Many times I don’t have the time to stay quietly for very long, after chanting, because of responsibilities. But I don’t let that hinder me from chanting.

        Best regards

    Hi mam,

I have read your post on the shakti yog multiple times and had a question for clarification. Are there similarities in results when moon and rahu are conjunct but not aspecting the 5th or 9th house?

Looking at 2 sample charts, I have one where one which has rahu in the 9th, and moon in the 1st house cancer ( so aspecting 5th house scorpio) and another individual who has moon and rahu conjunct in 4th house in capricorn ( so no aspects on the 5th or 9th). However, both individuals have had similar life difficulties/similar themes. I was trying to pinpoint if the rahu/moon conjunct would do this or perhaps something else.

    Many thanks for your time.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
Rahu, if with asc lord or moon or in the dharma trikon, must be analysed in depth. as he has a very deep impact on the personality.
such a person often conceals his actual nature/ motives/ /desires / ambitions /personality etc under several layers.

      1. Hayls Avatar
        Hayls

Yes, thank you! The individual with rahu moon in the 4th house capricorn also is conjunct sun and a retrograde ascendant lord. I am having a difficult time interpreting it. Is there something similar to Ashtakavarga scoring for Rahu and Ketu to better understand their potential?
Additionally, for these types of clients, do you recommend that they do remedies for the moon or rahu? Or is it better if spiritual practices are kept general? Interestingly, both charts seem to indicate some sort of pitru dosh ( chart 1 with rahu in the 9th, 9th ruler jupiter rx in the 8th, saturn in the 5th), and chart 2 with a partial kaal sarp). It seems that there would need to be layers and layers of remedies involved.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
        remedies are several.
but unless the 9th house is strong no remedy will really work.
so do something daily that helps your dharma trikon. that is the real ‘remedy’

    Namaste Madam ,

Can you please help clarify following questions.Thankyou.

    1. Venus and Saturn are friends .For Ascendants like Capricorn , Aquarius , Virgo , Libra , Saturn and Venus are both favourable.
Why will conjunction of Venus and Saturn cause confusion?

Shouldnt the conjucntion give a positive result?

Ex : Aquarius Asc :Asc lord and 9th lord conjunction in 1st house is a very good combination .
Capricorn Asc : Asc lord and 5th conjunction in 2nd house is also good

Dignity Wise also , Saturn is in own sign , moola trikon and Venus in friend house.

    2. I have confusion with respect to Lagna and from Moon charts. Can you confirm if my understanding is right

Fr Taurus Ascendant , Saturn is Yoga karaka and wherever he is placed supposed to give good result.
For same Taurus Ascendant , from Moon , Saturn is 7th,8th lord a malefic.
So does this mean ,Saturn is going to give positive result with respect to career , higher education etc. being 9 and 10 lords.

But emotionally there may be stress with respect to Marriage , In-laws , business etc.

    Thankyou,

    Hello Ma’am,

I found your blog only about 2 months back and have been reading your writing as I try and make sense of my planetary patterns and find my direction in life. I really appreciate all your writing, it’s the closest I have to a guide and I hope I can seek your guidance on a question which perturbs me.

Recently, I have consulted 2-3 astrologers who have all talked about my chart having sanyas yog, spiritual incline, occult horoscope and advised me to have a dedicated spiritual practice and find a guru. I was told about my soul wanting to go in Moksha direction and that relationships, career success prospects didn’t exist (I had a career which was put on hold last year and I am having strong challenges getting back, bizarre delays, things out of my control).

A few details of my birth chart – Aq ascendant, Swati Nakshatra, Libra Moon, Shani in 8th house, Ketu/Rahu axis 1st (Ketu) and 7th (Rahu), Kaal Sarpa yoga, Rahu, Mars and Jupiter together in 7th house, Moon in 9th, Sun/Mercury in 10th and Venus in 11th. Currently running Saturn MD (2010 till 2029) and Mars AD (since Dec 5th 22).

I understand that my chart indicates there is immense suffering from birth, no prospect of love and support from anywhere etc., obstacles in every aspect of life and my path should be spiritual. I can see it in my own life experiences so far.

However, I find myself getting lost between the chart and what I feel that at the moment I don’t feel spiritually inclined on my own to the level that I will pursue that as my core path for fulfillment. From the beginning, I have craved for love as the primary thing that drives me, and second driver is a sense of autonomy/authority and commanding respect (have really wanted to excel in my career and be really good at what I do and be known for it). I haven’t had both in my life and while I understand I am not to have love and success like others may have, the thought of living an insignificant life with no meaningful contribution in what I do is devastating.

I am always a seeker of truth and think deeply about state of world and planet (I am very sensitive and have very high level of empathy), but I am not someone who is driven by an inherent spiritual pursuit. I live in the States and the available “art of living” type gurus put me off entirely. I can’t worship a living human being. I’d rather help people, do well at work and contribute to environmental regeneration, which I am strongly drawn to. With all that I have been told, I feel I am being forced to take a spiritual path by putting all the obstacles and rejections in my path and wonder if a forced spiritual path is any good or will I resent it.

Shouldn’t spirituality and religion come naturally to me if I am supposed to be an ‘elevated soul’ whatever that means? I sit down in spiritual practice doing Mantra Jaap or meditation and I do it but I don’t feel it at a level that I can put aside lack of love or career success. Why such a disconnect? Am I to keep suffering more in all material aspects till I breakdown and give in? Is that the right way to enter a spiritual path? I am also worried about self-fulfilling prophecy playing out here, whereas my true path may lie in something else that I should be looking for.

My apologies for the very long comment and if my question doesn’t make sense. I would really appreciate your perspective and any guidance. You are like a guru to me. Thank you.

      Hi there
you are required to love your own self, appreciate your own self, unless you do this life will seem negative.
ie find that mirror which reflects your own inner beauty.
do your daily pujas, kuldevata/ishtadevata, surya, tulasi plant, feeding desi cows, etc are the easiest places to start. read the BG or any such book, or books of your Kuldevata. something which brings you closer to your self. go to temples, give daan/ dakshina. do a daily mantra. sing a daily song, sing bhajans in your language, sing movie songs.. express your inner creativity in some way..

some people may think that these small tips are stupid. they are not.. these are your 5th house at the very basic level. at the higher level these things same will trigger your mantra siddhi/ connect with your self etc.
but if you have done nothing till now how do you expect ‘spirituality’ to suddenly ‘rise’ inside you?

‘elevated soul’ is fine but what are you doing to maintain your ‘elevatedness? reflect a bit. think. find time for yourself.
i wrote on several small things, 5mins daily, morning//evening. do something for 6months and then evaluate yourself.

i do not see charts anymore. do consult a regualr astrologer for your readings.

i am not a ‘guru’ for anyone.
i wrote on Guru too. read those posts and find your Guru inside your own self.

Thanks ma’am. My question was a bit different, I don’t expect spirituality to rise. I am drawn to a different path which is excel at work and help people, but feel forced on a spiritual path. And my question was if a forced path is any good. I wasn’t looking to criticize myself that I haven’t done anything until now (that’s an assumption). Thanks anyway.

        Hi there
anything you are forced to do will be a burden on the mind.
so you have two options, change your path or change your mind.

      3. Jyoti Avatar

I also didn’t request a reading. I am a bit perplexed by your response. While I appreciate you taking the time to write, I had asked a completly different questjon and instead feel chastisized multiple ways. The use of word guru was also to merely convey a source of guidance, nothing more.

        Thanks.

      4. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
putting in the planetary positions in a comment means that there is an expectation tht i read it.
‘Guru’ is not a ‘mere’ word.
i have merely given certain observations. do ignore if irrelevant.

      5. Jyoti Avatar

Thanks. These things (sharing planetary positions or not) can be perhaps outlined in black and white somewhere, else it comes across as saying no to something that wasn’t even asked for. Planetary positions were merely put as data points for context, the question was very different in nature. I have seen other posts with planetary positions and did not have this response, hence I put them in case helpful context, that’s all. I am not an astrologer or think like one. Guru is a word indeed, again, to someone like me. The core of the question was different and I feel the response was a reaction without understanding. I do realize that instead of asking for guidance from anyone, I need to be my own guide.

        Pranam Tejaswini mam 🙏🏻

        This is for jyothi’s mam,
Hello, I’m reading your conversation and as of today Sunday I have some free time so I would like to understand your chart patterns as per your given data.. and I’m a basic level learner and i tried to express what i understood as much as i can,
If it deserves publishing.. Tejaswini mam if it not good kindly delete this comment and sorry for wasting your time..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

And Jyothi mam i don’t have your exact time to prepare bhav chalit chart so below points are at very basic level.. and i just tried to say at basic level itself it’s just few areas where your energy required most.. if it’s wrong and not suitable it’s all my fault not vidhyas.. as per my limited knowledge this is my humble presentation for you..🙏🏻

1st and 12th lord Saturn sitting in the 8th house..

1st house : self, physique, head, personality, life path, health and total tanu bhav..

12th house : losses, Imagination, expenses, Isolated places, charity, spirituality, foreign lands, foreign companies, subconscious mind, donation, Jails, hospitals, hidden talent and secrets of other worlds etc..

8th house : secrets, in laws, inheritance, occult knowledge, research, life and death and sudden events, wealth from in laws

So as Saturn is about worry, rules, restrictions and tension, a major life focus is going into dealing with worrisome sudden events but it makes a person very strong and a long life is guaranteed.. 🙂
12th lord in 8th too i.e. occult knowledge will come for sure but slowly i think and gain after so many struggles and everything improves with time..

Here ketu placed in 1st bhava, you just might not know who you are..!! Confusion in decision making, mysterious yet magnetic personality, spiritual progress, unknown fear, easily given into stress and pressure..

Now, Rahu, Jupiter and Mars are placed in the 7th house(Leo) with a bit of heavy karmic force.. and here the sun is the enemy for Saturn.. need to examine this very carefully..

Asc lord and moon sign lord and nakshatra lord are in opposite teams for guru palit signs.. so here Jupiter (owned 2 {marak sthan}, 11th {labha}) and Mars(owned 3 {parakrama}, 10 {karma stan}) don’t have any responsibility to give good results for the native and rahu presence here becomes very stressful..

1-1 relationships mostly end with painful lessons. how to say…?
For example, native might feel that he might get some comfort/love/care/support from the opposite person but in the end it won’t happen like that..
I don’t want to discuss rahu Mars Jupiter behavioural traits here..

Finally all this 7th house energy, lessons, deep trauma emotions will be redirected to lagna ketu.. ketu stores all these as deepest learnings for next lives..

        One more important thing..
Your 6th (maha dusthan) lord is the moon who is completely contrasting to Saturn..
So your 6th house stuff, day to day activities, job, service, enemies, health, debts etc etc always annoys you.. as it is owned by the moon it always changes and is not stable which irritates you a lot..

I’m pretty sure you have many positives too in your life and many people might feel jealous of your achievements but you might not be aware of this or it’s not enough to you..

And one special thing is that here Venus (owned 4th and 9th houses) becomes both yogakaraka and bhadakaraka for kumbha sign…
So Venus – relationships, love, desires beauty, luxury life, esoteric knowledge etc
Owned 4th and 9th houses and placed in 11th house so aspecting your “”5th house..””

So you might get happiness and peace of mind if you gain through large organisations/corporate offices and you might get benefits from your mother, real estate or home but there might be some differences of opinions..

And i don’t want to discuss some more things publicly but finally what i came to understand from Tejaswini Mam’s response to your comment is 👇🏻👇🏻

*****you are required to love your own self, appreciate your own self, unless you do this life will seem negative.
ie find that mirror which reflects your own inner beauty.*****

👆🏻👆🏻 She told you this to strengthen your Ascendant (self) as it have ketu and asc lord also stuck in 8th house.. in two ways more precisely in 3 ways, Mars and Jupiter also aspecting, it affected so simple solution is developing self love and aware of your own potential as most of the times you are best than your opposite people but you might unaware..

        Next her response is 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

“””””do your daily pujas, kuldevata/ishtadevata, surya, tulasi plant, feeding desi cows, etc are the easiest places to start. read the BG or any such book, or books of your Kuldevata. something which brings you closer to your self. go to temples””””””

👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 This is for strengthen your 9th house.. as your 9th house have your 6th house lord moon so if you could increase your 9th house energy it can reduce malefic energy moon so that you will get so much emotional strength..

Next most important and simple tip she suggested you by saying this..👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

“””””””””some people may think that these small tips are stupid. they are not.. these are your 5th house at the very basic level. at the higher level these things same will trigger your mantra siddhi/ connect with your self etc.******

👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 This will be very very helpful to you as venus is your yogakaraka too so he must help you and here he is aspecting your 5th house so if you could energies your 5th house it will help you tremendously..

And from your mid 30s you might witness some positive changes in your life.. After 46, 48 you might see some more good and positive changes and what I came to understand is that redirecting towards this spirituality process is not that pleasing and it might be a bit forceful to you.. it’s not that easy to handle this kala sarpa yog energy all alone and without losing a bit of self..
But you already came so far and achieved so much and learned so many things so you will win this battle for sure with god’s grace along with your purshardha (self efforts)

And my due apologies if i said anything wrong here… 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

So grateful for this knowledge platform..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

If this comment is moderated, I would be the unlucky one, not you.

Let me share my experience, I entered Rahu AD in Feb-2019. I was out of job, in Mar-2019. Since then till 17th Nov-2022.

I tried doing everything to get things in my control, including talking to astrologers. But…it did not materialize.

Finally, I decided to do my prarabhd (my own action). I started to do the simple things, mentioned in Tejaswiniji’s blog.
Sat down to listen to my favourite music, before sleep listened to my favourite bhajan, Rudrashtakam… and then every morning with my first breath, recited 12 names of Hanuman. Left it to my Guru to show me forward path.

In 6 months, postivity entered my life, and I started to learn astrology all by myself. only self chart reading, trying to decipher what is my life offering me.

So, the bottomline is, everytime, you face challenges in life. It is an indication that you need to change. either your behaviour, mannerism or approach towards a problem etc.
Remember, 1% change everyday brings positivity in life. Make that 1% change and observe your behaviour, before you sleep… you will become a changed person soon.

Thank you Kinshuk. I appreciate you sharing your experience and glad what you did worked for you. There is no argument with what you suggested, we all have to keep trying. I have survived only because of trying. I would however caution against the trap of …”it worked for me so if you can’t do it, it’s your fault and something must be wrong with you.” Most advice from people who have already come out on the other side takes this shape and does more harm than good. No one can or should give guarantees with very little information available.

My question was entirely different and misunderstood. My fault perhaps. If it’s okay, I am not comfortable debating further publicly. I regret putting my deepest thoughts out in public and receiving the response it generated in the previous exchange.

I wish this comment is not moderated. I saw your name earlier as Jyoti. let me address you as Jyoti ji. This is my final response to you. don’t bother to reply back.

I read all conversations between you and Tejaswiniji. Her answers was perfect to your questions, but sometimes, we are unable to see or feel it.
Your query was extremely simple. But your detailed preface and tail-ending piece in your writing, actually merged your core query.

Now, what I am going to write, please do not get offended over it.
This is not a debate, but my sincere effort to help you.

Few points in your write-up, which made me realize, your confusion.

Like, Life experiences have not been good. Feeling lost between what your chart says and what you should do, in current state of mind. Your eagerness to be loved by everyone, feeling sense of autonomy/authority. Your feeling towards the poverty, ill-health, state of planets etc. Want to work, but unable to find path to walk upon. What does this decipher?

These experience is exactly how Swati Nakshatra people are. They have this core sense to do good for society at large, but do not want to come down to earth. Unable to forego the comforts of life & come down to ground zero. Unable to accept situations with humility, Unable to dirty themselves with muck.
And you know what, they are NOT wrong, but people find fault in them. Remind them that they are useless to the society, but the truth is, they are simple at heart, straight faced…but with air of confusion within them. They try hard to make people understand, what they meant to say..but are always understood otherwise.

Now, Go back and read your conversations with Tejaswiniji. She replied in exact words, but…conversation went otherwise.

Now, should you be critical of yourself? Answer is NO. You should not, you should be aware of this. That this will always happen with you.

So, whether you recite mantras, you don’t, it does not matter. What matters is your awareness about yourself, your reactions to situations around, if you have a problem, how are you handling it. You should not trying to make things in your favour. But, try to be stable in mind and take a conscious decision to act. This can only be achieved, when you stop being what you want yourself to portray to others.

Spirituality does not sitting at one place for chanting mantras and not doing your actions. It is about doing your daily actions, being stable in mind and thanking god for showing the way. Spirituality comes naturally, it is never enforced.

It is basically a realization of your own being, your state of mind, your actions, your reactions, your approach to emotions (be it happiness, sadness, cruelity etc). I wish Lord Shri Ram and Lord Hanuman helps you find your own path.

Jai Shri Ram, Jai Hanuman, Jai jai maharaj-ji.

good work. if you are studying jyotish, then if you feel like it, you can try doing small readings for your family/ friends as a practice.

      5. Reader Avatar

Mr. Kinshuk, I appreciate your response but let me decide what is perfect or not. This is called gaslighting. If the response from Tejaswini ji was perfect for you, don’t impose or assume for me. Also do not attempt to analyze me, whatever you are saying, I have also read and know.

This is precisely the issue with so called learned people or scholars, forcing their viewpoint without listening and preferring echo chambers as evident from Tejaswini ji saying “good work” to your comment but not being self reflective towards her own response.

I’d rather sit with a simple farmer than who will share his last piece of bread with one, than any scholars who lack compassion, humility, and bed side manners.

I requested you not to carry on the debate further, but you had to have the last word and tell me that Tejaswini ji response was perfect. It was not perfect, she was downright condescendimg and dismissive. This is the problem with you and her, if you can see it, that is.

Please do NOT respond further. Let it be.

        Hi Madam,

Is it true that there are 7 acharas, starting from ved achar and then vaishnav, shaiv, dakshin, vamachar..
And from dakshin onwards one needs a guru initation?
Also the dash maha vidya sadhana is vamachara, meaning using panchmakar?

        Thanks

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
the Ved are vedapurva and vedant.
vedapurva for gruhast and vedant for sanyasi
vedpurva – physical karma for gruhast – all sagun worship, where a deity in a ekroop form is worshipped
vedpurva – mental sadhana for vanaprasth – more focus on the vishwaroop form of the deity, but still in the sagun category.
vedant – Advaita/ aroop/ nirgun, its shravan, manan and nididhyasan.
this is the foundation of our Dharma, which is based on the Ved. every practice on our ‘worship’ will fit somewhere in this format.

vamachar etc is classified under ekroop, vishwaroop and aroop. it depends on what form you worship. there are several different pujas etc, but basically classified into 3 ways.

panchamakar are also of 2 different types. one for the practitioners of the lowest energies and one fr the practitioners of the highest form.

mostly today everyone you see around you is stuck in the ekroop format. unwilling to open their minds even to the vishwaroop. and cannot conceive of the aroop.

you need both Guru and Shastra/Ved for everything. one without the other is of no use.
(but Guru can be physical or astral)

    Hi Madam,

Is it correct that the more satvik a person is the more likely he will be kind. Kind in the sense that he can not hold on to grudges for long?

Also the converse of above is true?

    thanQ

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      yes.
the mind is such that you are able to understand the reason why the other person has caused you hurt. you realise that he is acting from his own sense of limitations so you feel sorry for him and there is no sense of a ‘grudge held’..
but in practical/ regular life this mindset is not really appropriate. other people will destroy you. as they satvikata outwardly seems similar to cowardice.
that is why you have to learn to wear a mask in public, at least enough so that you are safe. or take up some low level tamasic activity from time to time to remain functional in the society. or take sanyas and leave the society.

        Namaste Madam,

the wearing mask in public is ok, but doesn’t it cause burden on oneself ? i.e. pretending to be someone/ to do something that you don’t believe in yourself. if done in moderation, this is ok, but currently people recommend “compartmentalisation” , essentially meaning living at least two different lives, one during job and the other at home.

you always say that one should not do anything which is against his conscience, else it creates a karma, and my conscience agrees with this philosophy. so, how to behave in such scenarios, which most typically occur in scenarios etc..

Also, what do you mean by low level tamasic activity?

        thanks

      3. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
being satvik does not mean that you stop using your common sense. recognising that there is a conditional reality/ vyavhrik satya which requires a conditional response is a sign of buddhi ..
buddhi is a higher /prashodit form of manas..

change your diet, eg eat more green chilli

    Hi Madam,

Just few queries regarding Nav avarana anushthan.

    1. 9 lakh repetition means 8333 sets full and 1/3 set. So, we should leave the last set at that point only or complete it full?

    2. Is it ok if i do anushthan at my home (as all the idols are there )and do the other repetition at other places + home someties, as i have to travel ( of course while be following rules regarding food, sutak etc)

    3. Is change of asan + dress to be worn during the mantra repetition, ok in between the anushthan?

    4. Is it ok if i finish the anushthan before the timeline? You have suggested one year as standard, but somewhere i read that if one does it in 40 or 41 days( not sure which one is correct) it is even more worth it.
I have a lot of free time and hence can do it earlier too.

    5. Are there any other standard timelines like 40 days which i mentioned above or any other?

    Thanks , request your blessings,

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      1. 9 lakh is the count as per the mantra. but She will decide when it is complete. this is an ongoing process from your past lives. She might decide that it is complete at a lower count too if you have already completed a portion in your past lives.

      2. yes, you can do it anywhere. it is a mental process.
if you have that level of control on your mind, u can also use your swapna-avastha for this.

      3. yes, be practical about these physical things.
but complete control is over the mind is compulsory.

      4. yes
but it is not a task that you have to do it with a timeline.
enjoy the process. enjoy the mantra. only then it will be fruitful.

      5. not really,
do as much as you can comfortably. sadhana should never ever be felt to be a burden.

      1. tushar Avatar
        tushar

        Namaste Madam,

Generally from what i have read is any anushthan is done with any particular purpose i.e. sakaam sadhana, but the process you have mentioned has only one intention i.e. you have said *Intend that Devi Mahamaya grants you the knowledge of her Navavarna mantra*
also, kunjika stotra is a part of the intention which in itself has multiple sub intentions which i slightly understood when i tried to read the meaning of it in the other post.

so, is it correct to say that just reciting kunjika stotra conveys the purpose to the Devi as to why we are doing anushthan and She answers the prayers accordingly if and when She decides and what is fit for that particular person at that time ( rather than the person asking for xyz based on his limited understanding), meaning shreyas than preyas?

just got this query after reading the process of anushthan and thought of asking.

        thanks

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
if you do not ask for anything then you will always get shreyas.
if need to ask then ask for shreyas.
and shreyas always results in some improvement in material too.
buy if u specifically ask for preyas then you will not get shreyas.

    Hi Madam,

The nasal angg sound of 9varna mantra causes certain vibration kind of sensation in the upper part of head, where forehead ends.
It’s different than the sensation which is generated during the Soham, which is exactly at bhrukti madhya.
    Is it correct?

Also the panchamrit which is made using all the 5 ingredients which you mentioned tastes fantastic. I happened to keep the mixture of the ghee, sugar and milk for 2 hrs and then added madh + curd.
The panchamrit which is generally given in temples or so, lacks any of these ingredients? I guess they don’t mix honey.

If most of the karma has been rebalanced, why is there a blockage due to karmic factors?

    Dear Madam,

This question is based on your reply to Tushar above.
You have said that Devi herself will decide if 9 lakh counts are required or lower.

1> How will one know if the required number of counts is lower for them ? Will they get some indication from Devi ? What form does it usually take in case one gets it but does not recognise it?

2> Is 9 lakh the absolute maximum or can it go higher in cases?

3> If one does the Anusthan at midnight can one do the chanting in the morning or does that too have to be done at midnight?

4> In the Brihat Tantrasaara, there are mentioned such things as Siddha / Sadhya / Ari / Mitra and Rruni / Dhani mantras. Do these classifications apply to the Navavarna mantra or does it transcend them?

5> Madam, suppose one has done one’s sets in the morning, and later in the day, while at work and immersed in worldly thoughts and activities, if one suddenly finds 10 minutes of free time and decides to chant a single mala of the Navavarna mantra, then, is it advisable to do so Or should one not do it in a state of outer uncleanliness? ( In a earlier query from me you have mentioned cleansing oneself using Sookshma Ganga. How to visualise this? )

6> I sometimes end up chanting the mantra without realising I’m doing so. When I wake up I usually don’t have a count of how many chants I have done. So there is a possibility of having crossed the 9 lakh on a day which is not a Tuesday or Friday of the bright half of the month. Is this okay?

7> What are Shreyas and Preyas?

    Some questions about Self Inquiry:

8> I’m reading through Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj’s talks in “I am That”. He states that the querist, has already has enough experience and needs no more. Also, that it is enough to know that the Witness is dreaming and must wake up now, and there is no need to lead the dream to a noble or beautiful conclusion.

Since reading, I have moments of thinking “Who am I doing the Navavarna mantra Anusthan for?” and “Why am I doing this? “. Will these adversely affect the Sadhana?

9> Is it possible to do the Sadhana with devotion while keeping on telling oneself that one is not. That even the Devi is not. That only the witness is?

10> Is the So-ham dhyana you have explained in your articles common to both the Pipilika and Vihangam margas?

Apologies for too many questions again.

May all obstacles to your dhyana dissolve.

    With regards and gratitude,

    Amit

      Hi there

      1. She is the Jagatjanani, she will communicate and you will understand. Avoid overthinking. You will know.

      2. Its the max as per the mantra.

      3. You can do it anytime it is convenient. Just ensure that you have the Shraddha and Samarpan Bhavana in your mind. It should not feel like a task, you are not a machine. You should find Anand in this.

      4. It can be used for all these things. Depends on your intention. But it transcends them. Read siddhakunjika for what it can be used for.

      5. You can. If (3)

Visualise the Devi Ganga waters washing you from top to toe.

      6. Ok

      7. Shreyas – spiritual merit
      Preyas – material desire

      8. ‘Know’ means both conscious and subconscious mind should ‘know’
Read BG sanskrit shloks side by side, even 1/day is enough. Sanskrit will trigger the subconscious.

      No.
These are your Purva paap-karma trying to obstruct. They will come. Ignore them. Do not hold on to them.

      9. Yes.
Sadhana is for the mind to relax itself. To develop/evolve into Buddhi.

You already know that you are Brahma/Atma. The whole exercise is to be constantly aware/confident about this absolute fact.

      10. Yes! Obviously.
I wrote on my Guru parampara.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/my-sat-guru/

The 1st Mool Kadsiddheswar is Shri Revan Nath Maharaj.
22nd Shri Kadsiddheswar was the Guru of Shri Gurulingjangam Maharaj
Then his Shishya Shri Bhausaheb Maharaj.
      His Shishya Shri Siddharameshwar Maharaj.
His shishyas who became Gurus were several, like Shri Nisargadatta Maharaj, Shri Ranjit Maharaj, Shri Ranchod maharaj, Shri Vilasanand Maharaj .. so many .. including my own Guru, who was the 26th Shri Kadsiddheshwar Maharaj.

‘Soham’ is the foundational ‘mantra’ of the Vedant. Do it sincerely and it will take you beyond the Brahmi sthiti ie the Jnyannishtha of the BG 2nd chapter and into the final Vichar..

        Dear Madam,

Please accept my gratitude for making all of this information available to us.

I seem to have a never ending list of questions:

1> While chanting 1 mala of the Navavarna mantra, if we make mistakes, like the Hreeng becoming more of a Hring or hReeng, do we need to restart the mala or chanting it uptil 108 + no. of mistakes is acceptable?

2> How do the 5 layers of the Shree Yantra correspond to the Chakras? The innermost triangle is surrounded by shapes with 8, 10, 10 and 14 protrusions (petals?) respectively. Where is the twin-petalled Ajna chakra, the four-petalled Moolaadhaara chakra etc.?

3> How is Shreeng different from Hreeng? The Siddhakunjika says Hreenkaari pratipaalikaa which is kind of how I imagine Shreeng as well. In
your article on the beejas of the the Siddhakunjika stotram you have analysed Hreeng as “Eternity/Endless/One + Removal/Dissolution + Balance/Perfection + Bindu”. What is the analogue for Shreeng?

        With regards and gratitude,

        Amit

        Hi there
        1. no sadhana is perfect, that is why we ask fr forgiveness, kshamaprarthana after doing everything .

        2. no.
the shrichakra is all inside the sahasrara.
but never ever attempt to focus directly on the sahasrara.
always focus on its ‘reflection’ which is ‘seen’ in the third eye/ ajnya chakra.

the body’s chakras are merely the ‘downward’ reflections/ projections of certain portions of the shrichakra geometry.

total 9 chakras. 2 in the sahasrara. 6 reflected downwards. bindu is a ‘continuous reflection’ thruout the body.

        3. the additional syllable represents something which i do not want to discuss in a generic blog.

as it is i have written too much..

    Namaste Ma’am..🙏

I read a post in Which explained about 3 Gunas..
    In 3 Gunas…
It says Yogis tries to Increase Satwa Guna to attain Gunateeta Sthiti…

Is it possible a Tamoguna Dominated person Attain Gunateetha Stithi or Liberation etc by Tamo Guna..?

And..I read in someother post about
    “Vishudha Tamoguna”..
And.. It takes one to satwa Guna..
How Vishudha tamoguna ends as Satwa Guna..

How can we End Tamo Guna..
By Rajo Guna or Satwa Guna..?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      there are two ways,
      either
‘dissolve’ tamogun in rajogun , then both in satvagun … dissolve this too in the bindu, ‘dissolve’ the bindu in the mahabindu …
      or
bring the three into perfect balance, it is an equilateral triangle, then you can ‘approach’ the Bindu and then onwards ..

but do not bother about these technicalities, do your daily pujas, do those tiny things over a life time with the samarpan bhav, all this will happen naturally

    Dear tejaswini ,

    Where have you been!

It’s not fair for you to dissappear . I’m sure I don’t speak for just myself when I say , we’ve missed the regular posts.

I hope you’re well and circumstances won’t keep you away for too long. I wish you lots of love and care . I’ve missed you . You’re like a sister I’ve never had , yet become accustomed to having around.

    Kind regards

    Dearest Tejaswini ji,

I am grateful for your post and the questions and replies therein🙏🏻 I have so much to learn.

I have seen Gulika in some charts but not in all. How important is Gulika in analyzing a birthchart? I mean, does it’s placement have a major impact on a person?

One humble request- if and when possible, can you please write posts on Lord Krishna and Lord Hanuman🙏🏻

    Lots of love and gratitude
