The first lunar eclipse of this year is a total lunar eclipse on 16th May 2022. It is the second eclipse of this 2022, following the partial solar eclipse of 30th Apr 2022 (post here). The results will also be somewhat on the same lines, but now hitting on the keywords of the Moon. This map below from timeanddate.com shows the areas which will experience the eclipse. The event will last for an approx 5hrs so its effects will fade in about 5 weeks.

First, the astrological configuration of the graha in the skies.

During this eclipse, all the nations in South America will witness totality and it will have a significant effect on them. Also some parts of Antarctica, Mexico, USA and Canada will experience totality. All those nations whose national capital will experience the totality will be more affected by the eclipse energies. It is advisable that people living here perform some mantra etc to channelise the energy, else it will swamp them.

Nations experiencing the some part of the total and the partial Umbral eclipse phases will also be affected by the energies. The intensity of disruption will depend on if their ‘birth charts’ are weak at this point of time. This includes western part of the African continent and the western tip of Asia which includes the European nations. The people living in these areas should try to channelise the energy of the eclipse so that it helps them in some way.

The eclipse is occurring above the oceans. Practically the whole of Atlantic ocean, the eastern half of the Pacific and a huge chunk of the South Ocean will be affected. A lunar eclipse and affecting such huge tracts of water is bound to cause significant disruption. The global weather patterns which originate from these oceans will be affected and this will have long term repercussions all over the globe.

For the other nations/ people who are going to experience just the penumbral eclipse or will not experience the eclipse at all, its effect will be negligible.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The eclipse is occurring in Krutika nakshatra. Even if Rahu and Sun are in different signs they are in the same lunar mansion. Mercury is retrograde and combust too. He is in Krutika thus closely involved with the eclipse energies. Ketu and Moon, though in different signs, are still in the same Vishakha nakshatra.

Saturn and Mars in the same sign but thankfully now they are so far apart, one at the very start of Aquarius and one on the verge of leaving it. They have minimal influence on each other per se. But Saturn will continue to feel the effect losing the graha yuddha to Mars. Saturn continues to aspect Aries with his 3rd aspect thus also influencing Rahu in it. Mars is aspecting Sun and Mercury with his 4th aspect.

Jupiter and Venus are not directly connected to the eclipse, but Jupiter is aspecting Moon with his 9th aspect which is good. But they have their own war going on the sidelines, with its own repercussions. They are close enough to influence each other. Exalted Venus has won the graha yuddha and Jupiter will have to follow his lead for the time being.

The eclipse is releasing its energies in the Krutika-Vishakha axis so let’s briefly analyse these two lunar mansions to gain some insight into the subtle aspects of this eclipse.

  • Krutika is connected to the Sun, ruled by Agni and is very fiery by nature. Expect increase in harshness and a ruthless desire to conquer everything. Arguments, conflicts, wars etc at different levels will continue tinged by ego, ambition, pride, politics etc. Actions requiring courage, ability, initiative etc will be taken but at their core will be a knot of selfishness. Military activity will increase, police and other enforcement agencies will also remain on high alert.
  • Vishakha is connected to Jupiter and ruled by Agni and Indra. Personal goals will become all important as everyone is willing to go to any extent to achieve their desires, selfishness increases. Peace of mind, pleasantness and relaxation will reduce as negative emotions, internal emptiness, restlessness and frustration increases. Immoral and unethical behaviour increases. Challenges will also increase. However most of us will have sufficient resources to tide over. Agriculture will be affected by untimely rain and violent winds. Expect an increase in consumption of intoxicating substances. Troublemakers will try to disrupt the society. Secret dangerous activities will cause problems.

I have already written detailed posts on the results expected in this Vedic year, Shri Shubhakruti. Result of Saturn’s transit in Aquarius. Saturn’s transit in Dhanishtha nakshatra. Rahu Ketu transit into Aries/Libra. Jupiter’s transit into Pisces. A post on Apr-Jul 2022 and several on the past eclipses etc. (do use the index page.) This year 2022-23 is a very happening one with lots of activities and changes expected during this time. Eclipses act as trigger points for events which have personal and global implications.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

Some general predictions. As with every eclipse, first and foremost there will be disruptions in the weather. Heavy winds, rain, cyclones, flooding and turbulence especially for the nations who will witness totality (map above). Weather will be affected on a global level. On the political front, Canada and USA (capital cities of both nations will see the total eclipse) will face political/ economic crises. All the South American nations are also going to feel the energy hit, their governments should be ready for turmoil. African nations, especially those on the west coast will see tension, local skirmishes, civil unrest and terrorist activity. European nations will continue to feel unsafe. The lack of food, energy etc will now start showing its impact, the local population here will get restless and civil disruptions are expected. The Ukraine Russia war continues and it will trigger several critical events in this decade. Russia has a better birth chart and a current transit chart, so will have the upper hand. Overall, secretive actions and clandestine activities will increase everywhere. We might see deaths of a few prominent national leaders/ famous individuals during this time. Few unsavoury secrets of celebrities will be out in the open. Industrial, mining and agriculture related mishaps are possible. In our homes, electrical equipment can malfunction. Karma will come calling for some at the individual levels too. Deaths are possible by drowning or by blood related diseases, sharp wounds and connected to the fluids in the body. Emotionally charged but essentially hollow rhetoric will cause more damage to everyone at some level or the other.

For Bharat, both coasts will see cyclones, the east coast will suffer more. Central areas will be hot and windy. Monsoon will arrive earlier than expected. The rain will be overall sufficient but will be accompanied by high winds, thus cause damage to agriculture. Landslides and flooding is possible. Civil disturbances, internal traitors etc will continue their anti national activities. But overall, despite everything, the nation will progress.

On personal levels, if you are born with Cancer, Leo, Aries, Libra, Taurus or Scorpio Moon signs or even as ascendant signs then you will be more influenced by the eclipse. In case you are undergoing a Vimshottari Mahadasha or Antardasha of the planets involved, ie Moon, Sun, Rahu, Ketu or even Mercury you will see more eclipse triggered action in your life. In case your birth Moon nakshatra is Punarvasu, Vishakha or Poorvabhadrapada then too you can expect some significant change in your life during these coming 5 weeks.

Eclipses give spiritual gains and can also be channelised to give material stuff. They are energy released by a combination of Rahu Ketu and Sun Moon. Sun and Moon are the energies of the Sahasrara and Ajnya chakras while Rahu and Ketu are the energies of desire/ non desire which push your perfect energy geometry out of shape. So if you perform some spiritual activity during eclipses, you can create or trigger events connected to the houses of your individual charts where the eclipse is occurring. ie for the present eclipse, it would be Taurus – Scorpio axis and the Krutika – Vishakha nakshatra axis. Whatever these signs/ nakshatra indicate in your life will see some significant change.

Positive effects are more likely if your own horoscope is powerful enough to absorb this energy burst. In any case, it is advisable to perform some sort of puja, mantra jaap, daan, spiritual practice etc during the duration of the eclipse so that negative effects are reduced and positivity is generated in life.

    Namaste Madam,
Thanks a million for this very very illuminating post. Thank you.

Can we go to a temple this grahan day Madam? I humbly assume that the temples might be open given that the eclipse is not visible in India? Any precautions to this regard Madam?

    Thanks and sincere regards,

      Hi there
yes, you can. It is not visible in India. No precautions fr the areas where it is not visible.

It is only in the areas where it is visible, that the temples would be closed during the duration of the eclipse.

    Dearest Tejaswiniji,

I was expecting a post from you about the coming lunar eclipse🙂 Excellent post, as always 👍🏻♥️ Regarding Venus-Jupiter conjunction I am counting on both the revered Gurus to give me more gyaan.

I have a question not related to this post. Whatever we learn or are good at, will we be able to use those abilities in the Pitrulok after death? I am referring to the spiritual abilities. For example, suppose a person is a reiki channel and can give a reiki healing to another person in his (the reiki channel’s) dream – will he be able to use the reiki symbols for his own betterment in Pitrulok after he dies? Or a person can consciously chant mantras in his dream state out of awareness. This presupposes that the person who can consciously manipulate his dream while he is in his dream state has better control of his environment/ circumstances in the Pitrulok when he becomes a pitru.

Am eager to know your views.

    Lots of love and gratitude

      Hi there

      For the next life.
Any skill solely connected to the physical body does not continue to the next life. As the Sthul sharir is discarded, these physical skills too are discarded. eg your muscular body, or training as an acrobat. Siddhis too cannot be directly taken to the next life.
A skill which is connected to the Mantra is continued as faint impressions in their ‘concept’ form. These are retained in the astral/ linga/ sookshma sharir and can be used again in your next lives.
Or any emotional impressions which are deep enough to percolate into your astral self are also retained.
Eg if you took intense pleasure in working out in this life then you might ‘remember’ having a muscular body in your next. But you cannot directly achieve it in your next life. You have to work out again.
Eg you might know several mantra and very deeply understand the concept, their use, theoretical aspects etc. you might have had siddhi over them in the past lives. But to again regain siddhi over them now you will have to do their anushthans etc in this life.
Eg Vidya, Ved, Vedang – their concepts are retained. You can hit ‘refresh’, ie read the books etc and you will immediately deeply understand what is written.
Eg Sangeet. This is also retained in your astral body. But to again use your throat/ musical instruments to play the Raag or sing songs etc you will have to practice, again train the physical body. But the good thing is that you will learn faster.

      When you are in pitrulok,
Your Jivatma is not bound by a birth chart. So you remember all your past lives, everything that your Jivatma has done, ie the things stored in the sookshma and Karan sharirs are all accessible. But we do not perform ‘work’ in the pitrulok, ie creation of new karma is not possible here. Here you can only enjoy/endure your due karmic fruits.
You cannot ‘manipulate’ anything in Pitrulok, you cannot control anything in the environment there. This is the domain of Bhagwan Yam.
Higher level sadhaks do continue doing their sadhana here. But this is not possible for the others.

You can at max, control your mind and your exit route of the physical body at the time of ‘death’.
But this will depend on the sadhana you have performed during your life time.
Most humans exit through Pitraayan, but there is always a possibility of choosing a higher energy route at this critical time.
Those eligible for Krama Mukti exit through Devaayan. Those eligible for Videha Mukti, exit through the Brahmarandhra, ‘shattering’ it and achieving the Self. Those who are eligible for Jivan Mukti, just Are the Self, without any requirement of ‘going or coming’.

Swapna avastha in my opinion is quite dangerous. But thankfully regular people are here very briefly and recover from that brief damage easily. Those who do sadhana regularly or have a strong Ketu association have the ability to control dream sequences, recite mantra, do pujas, give healing, etc in the Swapna avastha.

        Dear Tejaswini,
        Hari Om!

Thank you for this thorough reply…this is a fascinating thread, and if I may, I would like to add my doubt which has been around for a very long time.

In Tattwa Bodha, Bhagavan Adi Shankaracharya finishes the text with the succinct reference to the (Agami, Sanchita, Prarabdh) karmas of the Gnani Purush, upon his attaining realisation.

Further, to those who praise, serve and worship the gnani purusha, go the results of the actions done by him. To those who criticise, hate or cause pain to the gnani purusha go the results of all unpraiseworthy and sinful actions done by him.

I understand the Vedanta part, that the one who abides in “aham brahmasmi” by default dissolves the “karta” of the various karmas.

But this redistribution of the karmas has baffled me for a long time. This is a rare reference….that karmic files/energies can find their way so precisely in this manner in these two routes.

I thought maybe this has something to with the crossing of the Gnani Purush/”I” beyond the dimensions of the navagraha……and that maybe Saturn, the ultimate karmic enforcer does this redistribution to those still living in the dimensions of the three karmas in time and space.

        Still, it is mystifying….

Would love to hear your thoughts on this, if you have time.

        Warm regards,
        Vishakha

        Hi there
Read the Brahma sutra, it discusses all this in great detail.
This below is just my personal understanding. There are two ways of understanding this.

        One

The Jivatma who realises the Self, ie the Nirgun Brahma can sometimes continue as a Jivan Mukt Sat Guru. (And this is the greatest Krupa, it is because there are Jivan Mukts like this, that we have our Satgurus to guide us.)

This means that the linked Sanchit karma is destroyed at the instant of Realisation. And the possibility of Agami karma becomes nil. But the Prarabdha karma linked to the physical body will continue till the ‘physical death’ of the body, ie till its allotted life span.
Despite all this, the Brahma Jnyani is not connected to all this karma stuff. He remains in his Para Avastha.
But we humans around him think that he is an old man/woman, needs a walking stick, is sleeping, eating etc.
        Perspective is critical.
So if someone is acting positively towards the Atma Jnyani, then as per the law of karma his positive Prarabdha karma has to be given in exchange (no possibility of Agami or Sanchit being used for the exchange as they do not exist for the Atma Jnyani). Similarly is someone acts negatively towards him then his negative Prarabdha karma are used to complete the exchange.

        And two.
The Atmajnyani Mahapurush is the Advaita itself. From his perspective he is the Self, the Parmeshwar, the Parabrahma etc itself.
But we look at the face/ figure and think that this is an old man/ woman etc and then our karma starts ticking.
Some of us insult that Mahapurush, disobey his directions, have mean thoughts for him in our minds etc. But He is actually the Self, he has Realised the Self and this Self is Non-dual! So when we behave badly towards him we are actually insulting our own Self. And this is the greatest negative karma that we can do to ourselves.
Similarly when we obey his directions, listen to his pravachans with Shraddha, hold him in our hearts with the greatest love and respect, we are doing this positivity to our own Self. And this is the highest positive karma that you can do to yourself.
So from the perspective of the doer, ie the person who obeys/insults the Atma Jnyani, his own actions get magnified infinitely and get reflected back to him.

That is why I had mentioned somewhere that one should avoid insulting or physically hurting a Sanyasi. (He may or may not be a Atma Jnyani, but he exists in the Mahashmashan).
It is all the same to him, he is a Sanyasi.
But for the one who has performed the negative action, the negative karma gets magnified and reflected back to him. Similarly avoid any negative action in respect of a Pran prathishtit vigraha.
(So you can imagine the level of negative karma for those people who killed the Sadhus in Bharat, destroyed the Moorthis here or looted these Vigraha or are even now ‘displaying’ them in museums.)

        Namaste Tejaswiniji,

Thanks a lot for your detailed reply🙏🏻 I was under the impression that the Pitrus worked in the Pitrulok. Looks like there’s not much a soul can do in the spirit dimension unless they are advanced sadhaks.

You wrote “You can hit ‘refresh’, ie read the books etc and you will immediately deeply understand what is written.” – this has happened with me a few times. In some cases I have just known.

Your posts on dreams and lok a soul goes to are superb!♥️ What you wrote about dreams I have experienced.

        Hi there
it is only when a soul gets the chance to occupy the human body does it get the opportunity to ‘work’,
this is why manushya yoni is given such importance.

and there is are so many activities going on in the pitru lok.
first the soul will ‘sleep’, ie rest to recover from the pain of being born in martyalok. and then later the other members of the associated soul group are right there for interactions etc.

if you are going to endure the due fruits of karma then there will be pain.
and if you are going to enjoy due karmic fruits then you will be pampered.

      Hi madam,

      1) in pitru lok, what kind of suffering the soul has to go through, it doesn’t have body to endure/enjoy. So, whatever is mentioned in Garuda Purana happens?
I mean the pain is physical or emotional/some other sort?
      2) you have mentioned under Vishakha, that unethical and immoral behaviour will increase during this eclipse. Is it a property of Vishakha?

      1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
Yes. You can get the details from the Garud puran.

It has discarded just the sthul sharir.
it still has the rest of its kosh.

        https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/06/01/panch-kosh-the-five-energy-layers-of-the-soul/

Technically all pain/pleasure is only in the Mind, ie in the Linga/Sookshma/subtle body.

    Hello Tejaswiniji

Great post! I have a couple of questions related to dhyan. After reading your blog I’ve started doing dhyan. Its been an year since I started, now I find myself much happier, more detached from life in general.

Lately, I get stomach ache and heaviness in stomach after dhyan which resolves if I sit for another session. Also, physically I cannot sit for more than 20 minutes. I get so tired after 20 minutes that I instantly lie down and take a quick nap. I am very fit physically, I do heavy workouts six times a week. Why are these things happening? Is is possible that the energy is healing me thus the stomach aches?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
do consult a medical professional for the medical issues.

      fr the Dhyan part,
if you can sit just for the 108 breaths and at least few mins after that, is also fine.
or if you want you can choose a different asan. I have listed the best options in that post, but any yogasan is fine where the neck, head and back are aligned.
eg even Shavasan is acceptable, but take care that you do not fall asleep in this pose as you do your mantra.

you should not sleep for at least 1hr afterwards. i have stressed this several times.
      just lying down is fine.

if the energy is healing you, you wont get a stomach ache for so long.
Generally a ‘healing crisis’, means a runny nose, a slight fever or loose motions. but this happens at the very start of the practice and resolves in a few days.
any continuing physical pain is not connected to the practice.

if you are doing just muscle building exercise, then add some stretches and Suryanamaskar, but only if you can do it.
Doing just muscle building + protein shakes, destroys the flexibility of the body.

      1. ABC Avatar
        ABC

Thank you for the reply. I will see a doctor if the problem persists. I will also try shavasana and Suryanamaskar.

Since sun transit has begun in my fifth house, I’ve started gayatri japa and have felt its immense energy. Is there any other mantra/puja I can do to increase my internal energy? I feel stuck in life and I read somewhere increasing internal energy helps you move forward in life.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
first sort out the physical discomfort.

and what will you do with the increased energy? can you take on the necessary discipline/life style to absorb it?

slow and steady is the correct option for Gruhast/ householder people like us.

that is why i emphasise on daily, regular practice.
even if it is a 5 mins puja, if you do it for a life time it will do its job.
You are connected to the Self with this 5min download, so if It feels it is necessary and that you are capable then It will initiate other things on Its own.

    Hi Thejaswiniji !!!
I hope this message finds you in good health. Just to help you remember, I contacted you a year ago while I was studying my masters in Germany and was separated from my beloved wife for 2 years due to covid. However, thanks to your divine and motherly guidance, I started chanting the Shri Shukta for 21 days and I was reunited with Pooja.

I am writing to you becasue I have 2 questions:
    1. I have Moon and Mars in Anuradha, ascendant in Rohini and Jupiter and Rahu in Pisces. Since my teenage years, I have noticed that the waxing and waning of the moon has some sort of influence on my mood: the more the moon wanes, I have abundance of energy during the day and the more the moon waxes, I feel sleepy, tired during the day and hardly sleep at night. during full-moon, I tend to get restless and short tempered. I am 33 now and I still experience this. Could you please share any remedies I could take up?

    2. I recently completed my masters in Berlin and before I look for a job, I am in the process of gaining additional IT-related skills so that I could be well-placed in a solar energy company here. This training could take anywhere between 3-4 months. However, my wife, who is working her is of the opinion that I should look for a job immediately since we need to undertake family planning and not delay this further. Is there any mantra I can devote myself to for causing a job as soon as possible?

Ps: Pooja and I love you so much and will never forget your guidance and spiritual support.
    Love,
    Dev

      1. I have written on remedies for the Moon, choose one which you can perform. use the index.
for personal readings, do consult your regular astrologer.

      2. No one cannot advise you on these things. it is is a very personal matter and something that only you and your wife can decide on.

However, because i have matched several charts for marriage (and also seen my father and my grandmother interacting with clients).
The general advise that every Jyotishi will give a newly married couple is to not purposely delay having children.

    Thank you!

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
i think it is mostly culture and family traditions.

From what I have seen around me, these pujas are performed only on the 61st birthday. technically on this day the person should be taking up vanprasthashram. stop being a gruhast and this a happy and auspicious occasion.

today everyone does the ek-shashti puja etc but then do not take up vanprashtashram. and still continue to remain very deeply involved in the families and affairs of their grown up children and their families.

    Hi Mam,

My grandfather died yesterday.. My father did his last rites. As per our tradition, the person performing last rites and his close ones should not participate in any auspicious activities for next 3 months. My sister is pregnant now who is going to give birth next month. She will be having her seemandham function(I don’t know what they say in english). Her in law’s are asking us and my father to participate in the event which will be happening in next 2 weeks. They say that this event will not come after this. We don’t know what to do now. My father feels that it is not right to participate in any auspicious events this soon. we have been asking many people taking their suggestions on this? Many has different views. As per hindu tradition, Is it right to take part in such situations? What does the tradition say? What do you think about this mam?

    Thank you.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      It is a sanskar Seemantonayan.
A pregnant woman is given blessings by her elders.
Generally a puja of the kuldevata is also organised. It is a happy event.

As per our texts, family members do not go fr auspicious activities like Sankars pujas or go to temples etc during
      1. Sutak – frm day of a death in the family till the Pinda daan . Anteyshti to Pindadaan is a very serious time with very serious energy buildup. Pindadaan is done on the 10 11 12 or 13 th day after the death.
      2. Naatak – frm day of birth of a new baby till its Namkaran sanskar. This is generally on the 12th day of birth.

During these times the gates between the pitrulok and martyalok are open and the departed relatives and ancestors souls have access to their descendants here. If you can sense auras you can pick up the movement of these souls around you.
This is why these family members do not go to places where Devatas are called ie fr pujas havans yajnyaa etc.

‘Family’ here means the people with the same ancestral paternal connect.
ie. Here it would b ur grandfather’s own family, his direct brothers families and his paternal first cousin brothers families.
This is the basic group which has to respect the Sutak or Naatak energy.

There are always local family/ culture etc specific customs. Like your family follows this 3 month time period. Eg state where i live now, these people do not go to temples, pujas, marriages etc fr 1 yr after a death event of a closer family member.

To go or to not go fr the Seemantonayan is a decision tht you must make.

    Hi there,

I came across a vibrant shiva stotra that makes me feel a subtle connection to the divine everytime I listen to it. Kind of meditative. After your recent post on Saturn’s transit in dhanishtha nakshatra, I thought of listening to this frequently as it is a tandava stotra. Even though I understand only a fragment of this stotra I like to contemplate on the meaning.

Incase you do get time , please take a look a this stotra https://sanskritdocuments.org/doc_shiva/tANDavastotram1.html.
Here is the audio version, I listen to https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0tmTv46nos

Felt like sharing this with you and the readers of the blog 🙂.

    Thank you

      Hi there
anything that evokes that divine feeling, Bhav, ie elevates your soul, brings you near your Adored deity etc is obviously good.

    Namaste Tejaswiniji,

What are your views on Seichem or Sekhem reiki? There are several offshoots of reiki, Tera Mai reiki is another one. By the way, I am a Reiki 2 (Traditional Reiki).

    Lots of love and gratitude

      Hi there
Every ‘off shoot’ of Reiki is based on the 4 main symbols which Master Usui taught. These 4 are all that Reiki is.
And you can do whatever you want with these.
It is a tradition that the symbols are not named directly. So I am not writing their names, but I think you can easily guess which ones I mean.

Two of these symbols are words in Kanji script. But with continuous use and the intention of the Seer Usui they have gained the level of Mantra.
And the remaining two symbols represent things which are very obvious once you look at them very deeply.

You have to meditate on them, absorb them to truly understand what they are! In short if you practice with them daily even fr a few mins, but in a meditative pose, they will reveal their true nature to them.

Unfortunately Reiki has become a fancy modern age thing. It has lost its meditative roots. Some people are giving level 1 initiations for Rs 500/-. Its unbelievable!

If you are a Reiki student, give a thought to what exactly was the ‘monastery’ where Master Usui studied? Why is it not in the public domain. And what exactly was the form of the Intelligence/Consciousness which was adored in this ‘monastery’.

Reiki is not as simple as it is made out to be.

        Namaste Tejaswiniji,

Thanks very much 🙏🏻 I was studying for my post-graduation when I was initiated into traditional Usui reiki decades ago by a genuine Reiki Master who did the initiation strictly in the traditional way. Reiki took me on an amazing spiritual journey, strangely, even before I was initiated. I don’t want to give details here, because my response will get too long. One of the after-effects that happened after I got initiated and which has stayed with me till today is that my body is always warm to touch, although my temperature is normal. Friends who have touched my shoulder or hand have asked me if I have fever, which I don’t. No idea why this happened, but I have had no issues with this experience as it has never troubled me. Before my initiation my hands and feet used to be cold and I suffered from anemia. The day I got initiated into Reiki-1 these problems disappeared, although I was not taking any medicine or special diet for anemia.

When Covid began I saw people offering online reiki initiations and there are no pre-requisites! I was shocked. What an awful joke! When I did reiki, we were supposed to observe some rules like abstaining from alcohol, smoking, non-veg food, etc – this was easy for me to follow as I don’t have such habits. Few years after becoming a Reiki-2 channel I read about Seichem and Tera Mai and was interested in getting initiated in these forms, but I couldn’t find any such Reiki Master. By then I was learning so many things and getting a variety of experiences that I didn’t pursue Seichem. There was so much I could do just by being a Reiki-2. Although I was keen to do Reiki-3 it did not happen. Perhaps it was not needed… for me. Recently I read about these forms of reiki again and was wondering what kind of energy these carried. I am wary of getting into energies and practices that may not turn out in my best interests. I am not interested in psychic powers, if they happen I am ok. But I am not seeking them. Hence I wanted to know your thoughts about these offshoots of reiki. I have a lot of faith in your judgement.

I am familiar with the reiki symbols and their corresponding mantras and did not want any information on them. Thanks to your reply, you have given me a lot to ponder and meditate on🙏🏻 What you said reminded me of the discussion I had with my Reiki Master (shortly after my Reiki-2) about what Master Usui had studied – his background, the sutras, etc.

As always, I am forever grateful to you, the Guru tattva, my Ishta Devata and Parabrahma Supreme for this blog🙏🏻♥️

        Lots of love and gratitude

    Remembered Dakshinamoorthi Stotram…विश्वं दर्पणदृश्यमाननगरी तुल्यं निजान्तर्गतं
    पश्यन्नात्मनि मायया बहिरिवोद्भूतं यथा निद्रया….

Everything reflects back to the karta because everything is a reflection.

    Thank you… Immensely grateful. 🙏
