Shri Plava Naam Samvatsara is coming to an end. As per our national Shakya era, Shri Shubhakruti naam samvatsara will begin from 2nd April 2022. The Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, called the Yugadi เคฏเฅเค—เคพเคฆเคฟ (mispronounced as Ugadi or Gudi in the local languages) and is the first day of the Vedic new year or varsha. Shri Shubhakruti will end on 22nd Mar 2023. On this last day of the varsha, Sun and Moon will both be in Pisces, this is the no-moon Amavasya of the Phalgun month.

Shubhakruti is a compound word in Devbhasha Samskrutam, Shubh + Akruti which means a beautiful shape, bright form, auspicious template, ready for work, rapid movement of form, fortunate aspect etc.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

On the new year day, do take some time to reflect on what has happened to you in this past year Shri Plava and think on how you will use the opportunities that the new Shri Shubhakruti will bring for you. There are several methods to predict the Nav Varsha phal, ie the results expected in the new year. In this post we will use the Navnayak scheme of things with the sunrise chart on the Yugadi at Ujjain. This will indicate the broad trends expected in the new year. (Ujjain, the city of Bhagwan Mahakaal is the center of the Earth in the energy sense.)

The chart for the first sunrise of Shri Shubhakruti has Pisces as the ascendant sign with Sun, Moon and a fully combust Mercury in it. Rahu is in the 2nd house and Ketu in the 8th. Saturn and Mars are together in the 11th house. Jupiter and Venus are in the 12th house. The D1 and the D9 Navamsha charts for this new sunrise of the year are as follows.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com IMAGE 2022-03-21 20:55:43

Broadly, the ascendant lord Jupiter is not placed well in both D1 and D9, pulling down the overall quality of the chart. Moon and Sun in the 1st house are well placed, this means a lot of potential energy is available but combust/ debilitated Mercury will vitiate the thinking process and people will boldly act in undesirable ways affecting the general wellbeing. Homes, children, enemies and partners will be more in focus in everyone’s lives.

Rahu in Aries is aspected by Mars and will cause an unending desire for increasing wealth and assets through any means possible, he will also trigger violence and trauma from time to time. Expect tension in families and mismanagement of family wealth. On the other hand, Ketu is heavily influenced by Jupiter so can give deep philosophical understanding, but coupled with severe turbulence and drastic changes in identity, including physical deaths. Doing some personal spiritual practice, reading deep philosophy eg our Upanishads etc can help channelise this energy. The complete Kaal sarpa is operating and it is strong as the ascendant sign is also within its axis. Thus Rahu will get more power to direct the energies of all the other planets in the direction of his choosing. (Analyse the role of Rahu in your personal chart)

Saturn and Mars in the house of gains are good. Saturn in his own house and Mars exalted so both are comfortable and powerful but they are very close together, barely 2 deg apart. This extreme Saturn Mars conjunction can create several problems in actually getting those promised gains, as their energies which are opposite in nature. One is restrictive/ conservative the other is pioneering/ outgoing. And both are well placed in the D9 too, so are strong from the inside out, so equally matched. So there will be a strange simmering tension in the family, with your elders, friends and in meditative practices.

Venus and Jupiter in the Vyaya sthan can grant spiritual growth as a whole but this will be coupled with the loss of the material. Ascendant lord in the house of losses is not a good thing, expect losses overall and as the 10th lord in the 12th everyone will be required to work hard in the profession, take unpleasant decisions and follow them through boldly. Venus is better placed because his position somewhat improves in the D9, but he will cause loneliness and isolation on several levels.

Overall it is a mixed bag of energy. (Try to analyse the D1 D9 charts together to gain more insights into the power of the planets.)

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The Navnayak rulership is that every planet gets a post, a role or a ministry, a responsibility for the year. So the โ€˜planetary governmentโ€™ for Shri Shubhakruti is as follows.

  • Raja – Saturn
  • Mantri – Jupiter
  • Arghyadhipati – Mercury
  • Sasyadhipati – Saturn
  • Senaadhipati – Mercury
  • Rasadhipati – Moon
  • Dhanyadhipati – Venus
  • Nirasadhipati – Saturn
  • Meghadhipati – Mercury

The King for the year is Saturn and this one fact clearly indicates the serious nature of the things to come. Whenever Saturn or Mars is King, we generally face misery and turmoil. Last year, Shri Plava had Mars as King. Before that Shri Sharvari had Mercury as King. And before that Shri Vikariโ€™s King was Saturn. Shri Vilambi was ruled by Sun. For Shri Hevilambi it was Mars. The past few years have been dominated by Saturn and Mars and the current year is again ruled by Saturn, adding to our burdens.

Saturn additionally holds the posts of Sasyadhipati and Nirasadhipati. 3 out of 9 posts are controlled by the karmic enforcer. The Minister is Jupiter who holds only one portfolio in this year. Mercury holds 3 posts,  Senaadhipati, Arghyadhipati and Meghadhipati. Moon holds one post of Rasadhipati And Venus also has one single responsibility, he is the Dhanyadhipati.

Of the 9 posts in the planetary government, 6 posts are controlled by malefics. ie Saturn, the top boss is controlling 2 more portfolios. Mercury is completely combust and thus is considered malefic, so his 3 ministries are also set to give unpleasant shocks. The 3 posts ruled by the benefics are weak as Jupiter and Venus are not well placed and Moon, as is usual every new year, is with the Sun.

7d6d6c9d29238fb0d956b9de005bb998

Notably missing from the scene are Mars and Sun.

  • The Sun is again missing from the planetary government of this year. This is serious, as last year too he did not have any portfolio. The natural ruler of the zodiac not being involved in active governance is not good. We all wondered why our governments were not taking effective actions against antisocial elements etc last year and now this same pattern is set to repeat in the new year.
  • And Mars is a very pure energy. He is the exhilaration you feel when you win. The pure joy of coming first, competing. The wind in your hair and the land under your feet. We will all miss this pure spark of initiative and confidence in Shri Shubhakruti. There will be a lack of courage, an inner sense of inferiority will increase, we will fear to break out of ingrained habits, choose underhanded means to power, try to sabotage and overall dirty games will dominate all actions.

So despite the lovely name ‘Shri Shubhakruti’, life will be not so secure, satisfying or comfortable in this year. There will be issues which have to be, above all else, endured, as Saturn grants infinite endurance. You cannot fight or preempt these problems as there is no Mars nor Sun to help you with their energies of confidence.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

So the results for this year Shri Shubhakruti are going to be on these lines. (Try to think on the keywords of the planets, signs, houses, Nav-nayak names etc to derive more inferences.)

The government with Saturn at its head will expect a strict adherence to rules, regulations and everyone will be required to follow the law. New rules will be made and strictly implemented. Realignment of the government system and its rules is imminent. Decision making will be slow and only after repeated discussions and longish planning processes. Farmers, miners, labourers, carpenters etc all those who physically work with their hands will benefit from the government policies. Schemes for the benefit of the poor and marginalised groups will increase.

Ancient Magadh, ie todays Bihar, Jharkhand and surrounding areas are going to prosper. Mining and heavy industries will show profits. Saturn will ensure that various implements made of metals are available including weapons of war. Gold, silver, precious stones etc will become expensive. Agriculture will be good. Especially dry food types eg resins or dryland crops eg millets will be available in sufficient quantities. But specifically grain production, transport and storage will be affected. Overall burden will increase on several fronts and hard work will be necessary. People will be forced to behave in a virtuous way and meritorious people will get their due. Those who sincerely work will get their due returns as karma is on a high in this year.

Diseases to rigidity, dryness, cell death and system failure will increase, ie arthritis, diabetes etc. This year the King himself is in charge of the โ€˜essences which do not nourishโ€™, which is not a good sign. Everyone’s health will be affected in some way or the other. Deaths of important political and significant religious leaders are expected, more by ill-health than any other reason.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

Mercury will ensure that the military gets more funds. Minor skirmishes at the borders to outright wars in some areas of the world are expected. Governments will set up advanced intelligence networks and engage in systematic spying. Tactics will be well thought out and bring results, ie wars will be waged only after complete analysis and preparation. Terrorist activities and proxy war type of situations will increase, but the perpetrators will also be caught. New software based technical weapons will be developed. Physical fights with conventional weapons will be relatively less compared to invisible cyber wars. The Air Force will be more deployed during this time. Finance and money will be used as a weapon in economic wars. The e-world is the new battle ground as cyber attacks increase. Cyber crime, especially of the financial sort will increase exponentially. Be careful about digital money and digital ways of payments, apps may crash or be hacked.

Expenses will increase overall as essential commodities will see a hike in price. Water and food quality will decrease. Consumption of medicines will increase. Accidents caused by sabotage, fire and rage are possible along with losses due to natural disasters. It will be difficult to perform auspicious ceremonies, functions etc as money will be tight.

This year, summers will be short and scorching. Expect water scarcity in large cities. Rains will be sufficient but accompanied by strong winds. In cyclone prone areas there will be serious damage. For our nation, both the east and west coast, especially WB, should be prepared. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the mountains, ie areas from JK, Ladakh, HP, etc till the NE states and resultant floods in the plains. One devastating earthquake is possible in the Himalaya. Winter will be severely cold. Expect unnatural rains, fog, hail, snow etc especially in Jan-Feb 2023.

d7b26649910f2dbc20034f87fe520f58

Jupiter as the Mantri is one good thing this year. He is weak but still can infuse some positivity in the system. The coordination within the national government will be smooth, clear thinking will be appreciated. Some archaic laws will be removed and new forward thinking laws etc will be brought in. Education policy will see a change. Also our economy as a whole should improve. Devbhasha Sanskrutam, our ancient sciences Ayurved etc and Dharmic philosophy will see a boost. A revival of culture and tradition is expected to some extent. Temples will be rebuilt as people try to find support in their traditional thought processes. Religious leaders will try to cause confusion but will be stopped before causing much damage. Gold prices will soar, gold and precious metals will soon go out of the reach of common people.

Moon as Rasadhipati means that availability, demand and consumption of liquids, alcohol and drugs, etc will increase. But these products will also be susceptible to adulteration. Nutrition will be affected so general public health will suffer. People will be interested in relationships more because of selfish and personal need based motives. Crimes against women can increase. Warmth in relationships will reduce, expect arguments within the family and with people with whom you have โ€˜need-basedโ€™ relationships. Chemicals and chemical related fields will see a boost as their need will increase in the coming times.

Venus will ensure that there will be enough cereal production in the year. Especially white coloured grain will be plentiful. But despite this people will be inclined to eat unhealthy and adulterated food which will have a negative effect on their health. Cultivation of medicinal herbs will be plentiful and profitable. But fake and adulterated ayurvedic medicines will have a negative impact on public health. Choose your medical professional carefully in this year. There will be opportunities for those who engage in secret trades and private type of businesses, their riches will increase. Silk, perfume and essential oil industry will see a boost.

There are several major transits in this year,

  • True Rahu Ketu have just entered Aries/ Libra on 12th Mar 2022 (Mean nodes on 12th Apr)
  • Jupiter will enter Pisces on 13th Apr
  • Saturn will enter Aquarius on 29th Apr
  • Saturn will re-enter Capricorn on 12th Jul
  • Saturn will re-enter Aquarius on 17th Jan
  • Mars will be going retrograde and forward, something which he does every 2 yrs, in this year.

Such high quantum of change and with such rapidity in a year where Saturn, the Shanishchara is the King will be fundamentally problematic.

The overall results for individuals will depend on the power of the personal horoscope. If you have a strong birth horoscope, ie a strong ascendant sign/ lord or a strong birth Moon or a strong Ashtakvarga table or your D1 D9 dynamics is strong or if several of your planets are Vargottam etc then you are better equipped to deal with whatever comes up in life. If the basic personality is strong, then you will be able to easily tide over issues in life. If you are undergoing Dasha periods of benefic planets, you will get their help in overcoming any possible negatives now. And if you have helpful planetary transits over your birth chart positions, then these graha too can create opportunities for you. Even if you feel that things are going adverse you will be able to make something positive for yourself. (Use this post as a baseline to develop your own line of thinking about the coming future.)

cec0380942875f33e1093bcd52206de6

Pujas for welcoming the new Samvatsar are similar all over Bharat. Obviously there will be local and cultural variations but the basic concept remains the same.

Briefly, everyone should wake up before sunrise, get fresh etc. Rangoli, Kolam etc is to be drawn outside the front door. Torans, garlands of marigold flowers, ripened wheat stalks, mango leaves etc should be tied to the front door. The daily Agnihotra is to be performed at the exact sunrise time. Next is to offer Arghya to the newly risen Sun. Regular pujas of the household deities are to be performed. The head of the family should read the Varsha phal from the new yearโ€™s Panchangam so that the entire family hears it. A naivedyam is offered to the deity and distributed as prasadam. (A coarse mixture of neem flowers/new neem leaves, coriander seeds, jaggery, tamarind and salt coarsely crushed together is the special naivedyam for this day). Then the family should go to a local temple, do puja, give Daan and intend for a happy new year.

I am reading your blogs for quite some time now and I must thank you for opening my eyes to various aspects in life as per astrology.
Truly you are gifted and I salute you.

As mentioned in the post lot of changes happening in coming month April including Rahu ketu transit.

Being a cancer ascendant and going through Rahu rahu mahadasha ( Rahu / ketu in 4 /10 axis in natal and in 5/11 axis in navamsa) in this time is a big turmoil.

I have read your cancer , the depth of disinterest article and it quite resonates with me.

Is it possible for me to grow spiritually in positive way during this time as Rahu seems obstacle.

What is your valuable insight and suggestions

I am amazed by your spiritual angle to most of your astrological post.

You are truly gifted and i salute you.

Lot of changes are happening in coming month of April including Rahu and ketu transits which you

had as already mentioned in previous posts. Now Jupiter and Saturn too.

I have read your cancer ascendant – disinterest article. It completely resonant with me . You have

beautifully mentioned the spiritual aspect in a very positive way.

I being a cancer ascendant myself and presently going through Rahu – rahu mahadasha (Rahu

ketu in 4/10 axis in natal chart and 5/11 axis in navamsa chart) seems quite a turmoil.

I know you are no more doing any reading and i respect your decision for it. Probably i was too late for it.

Still, if you could put some insight or suggestions on how one can spiritual move ahead (personal conduct and spiritual practices) in this situation of many changes/transits in planets.

      Hi there
take up one mantra which ever suits you, Soham, Gayatri, Mahamrutyunjai, Om namah shivaya, om namo bhagwate vasudevaya etc. and do it 108 times at least once a day. make this your routine, if you can stick to it then your own 5th house will come to your help when you are in adverse situations.
also do regular pujas of your kuldevata, even simple pujas are ok, if you can do this daily then your own 9th house will help you.

daan and mantra are the only two things.

NAMAH” mantra. How are they different and who should be doing for which intention

      3. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
shadakshari mantra – Om namah shivaya
        panchakshari mantra – Namah shivaya

the akshar is linked to the number of chakra that it actively balances.

for someone at the householder level there is no difference. just do some mantra daily without missing even a single day for a life time.

    2. Can one begin this Yugadi at a holy place like Rishikesh alone and away from the family members?

    3. Thank you for your post on the Temples that you have visited. I’m sure you must have visited many more. Please share your experience of visiting the Patal Bhuvaneshwar Temple and the energies there.

1 Adi Shankaracharya has written Bhashyas on all the major upanishads. but they are all in sanskrit.
fr the english translations of these, ref any book written at least 70-80yrs ago

      eg –
the smallest Mandukya Upanishad – Swami Nikhilananda
and the largest Bruhataranyak upanishad – Swami Madhavanada

2 you can, if you want to

3 it is not a temple per se. it is a cave under the surface with natural stalagmites/ stalactites formations. i have been to that place but as i do not like going into such narrow places and that too under the ground, I did not go inside it. my cousins went in and they were amazed.
the entire mountain is alive with power, it is Himalaya, every stone here is a Lingam.
in pithoragad, several towns have ‘naag’ in their names, like patalbhuveneshwar is an hr drive from Berinag.

i hav been to several temples but these ones are the more popular ones which regular people visit.

    Namaste Tejaswiniji,

I have this pressing question on protection in the astral plane. I will first share the background. I thought I was fairly good at protecting myself on the astral planes, but I realise I am not. In the past I successfully fended off psychic attacks in my dreams because I turned lucid, recognized the attack coming and successfully defended myself. Much to my horror I found out this early morning that someone has begun attacking me astrally in a covert way. Because I was not forewarned I couldn’t take the measures to protect myself. It was a most unpleasant experience and I am still upset about it. Looking back, I now think I was likely blindfolded and attacked – because when the attack suddenly happened in my dream state I could not see the attacker, nor had any inkling of what was going to happen. A family member has been getting black magic done on me through a tantrik since past several years… and I know (intuitively) through a new one recently.

I have read all your posts on protection. Some of the techniques you mentioned like avoiding eye-contact, etc I have used successfully in the past when interacting with energy vampires. I am sure the techniques you mention protect on a physical level. How to protect oneself in a dream state? How to protect myself against someone blindfolding me astrally?

    Please do reply๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

    Lots of love and gratitude

(PS – Approaching a tantrik is out of question as I don’t know anyone reliable or ethical.)

      Hi there
      you can try this.
when you go to bed, first sit and recite your mantra for 2 mins or you can even recite the name of your adored deity, eg ‘Jai Shri Mahakaal’ or or “Jai Shri Ram’ or ‘Jai Shri Krishna’ or ‘Jai Devi Durga’ or ‘Jai Maa Laxmi’ etc just fr 2 mins.
and request your deity to protect you as you sleep.

๐Ÿ™๐ŸปThanks very much for your reply๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Last night I was worried, so I prayed to my Gram Devata requesting His protection. My sleep was uneventful. Henceforth I will pray for protection every night.

I don’t recite mantras at night because I thought we were not supposed to recite them at night. Earlier I sometimes used to listen to Shri Sukta or Teekshna Danshtra Bhairavashtakam or some bhajans at night before sleeping. Of late I spend evenings and night studying astrology.

        Lots of love and gratitude

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
reciting Shri sukta is allowed max till evening twilight.

if you can add Saptashloki to ur daily puja schedule, Devi Durga will take care of the rest.

if you are having very severe problems at night then Ratri sukta is an option, but while reciting/listening to it, think of your deity with full Shraddha.

Listening to Bhajans or doing Kirtans especially the birth language always brings relief to the heart.

Many many thanks for the very useful suggestions ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโ™ฅ๏ธ I will start Durga Saptashloki. In the past I was hesitant about Durga because I was afraid I might make a mistake while chanting. You intuitively picked up something I did not mention – I have been having difficulty in sleeping for many months now.

After reading your reply, I got Ratri sukta on my cellphone and listened to it last night. Will be doing so every night.

I mostly listen to Hindi or Marathi bhajans, sometimes bhajans in other Indian languages too. Even if I don’t know the language, I may pick up words that I understand and get in a devotional frame of mind. My father always played only bhajans at home and from a very small age I listened to them๐Ÿ™‚ When I was in college I was attracted to classical devotional music – I loved (still love) the combination of raag and devotional music.

        Hi there
Bhajans in your personal language, especially the language in which your mother spoke to you, have the capacity to evoke Bhaav ie that pure emotion of love towards the Self.

Any Bhajan based on the Raag esp the Malkhauns will be especially useful. but listen to this Raag in its pure form only you are prepared to sustain its intensity.

    Madam ji
I am sorry for yet another basic question, but y we should not do manthra japa at night? Or if there is any time limit to do manthra japa in the morning? Is it hurtful to our energy if we do it in the wrong time? Usually while going to work I did it on time in the moring itself but a bit late on weekends, if its wrong i can definitely change that. I only consider that i have food only after my japa, and didnt know about timings…definitely there is so much more to learn..๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
that answer was specifically for Shri Sukta. do not take my answers out of context.

Mantra jaap can be done at night, but it should be manasik.

and think on what happens when you do mantra jaap? and what can be attracted to you? esp at night after sunset?

Mantra jaap should ideally be done on an asan, it is the highest protection.

but for Gruhast people, all this is not very relevant as they generally never reach that intensity of jaap. you see, it is very difficult to balance gruhast jivan with adhyatmik jivan. it is like doing double the work and its really appreciable that some people are managing to do this in whatever way they can.
so do what you can, even if it is very basic and only for 2mins, but do it regularly and sincerely.

yes, there is a time when the mantra is at its highest potency. why do you think we have Jyotish as a Vedang?
and the mantra gains its highest potency if you recite it in a specific pattern, so we have the 8 different ways of reciting them and we have the Chhand.
the Vedang tell us the perfect time, way etc of reciting mantra.
but something is better than nothing, so recite in whatever way you can but keep your Shraddha in your deity, and your emotion of complete Samarpan to your deity, this emotion is also called Bhaav, if you have these two things then the deity handles the rest.

eg i could never bear listening to the bhajan ‘mann tarpat hari darshan…..’. M.Rafi has sung it with such clarity, beauty, an exceptional voice! and such mastery over the rhythm, Raag etc, magnificent and i could not bear it.
but one day i heard a random young girl singing it. she was not technically perfect, her voice could not hit the high notes properly, but the ’emotion’ in her voice! it made the bhajan come alive for me.

Sorry again madam ji, I was refering to viju sir question only about no mantra japa at night. Thankyou for that detailed reply and I repeat the question because i could not find it in the blog after I uploaded it, thought it was not uploaded properly.sorry for that too.
Since i am not initiated by my guru, i only do upamshu jap…so need to change it to manasik now otherwise i could not keep the 8 hours gap mentioned by ji earlier..thankyou again..๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
there seems to be some confusion

        1. if you are doing this full process
        https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/12/10/how-to-do-dhyan/
it is not just ‘mantra jaap’, it is full fledged Dhyan, so it has to be with 8 hr intervals.
but you do not need to do it thrice a day,
doing this once/ twice/ thrice a day depending on the time you have is also ok.

remember that sadhana should never make you feel like it is a burden.
fr Gruhast people doing sadhana is like doing double the work.

(the time frm 10pm to 2am is called the vishuddha tamogun, and can be used for doing Dhyan. but it gets very intense and is generally incompatible with gruhast ashram)

        2. and mantra jaap can be done independently of Dhyan too.
ie if you are just sitting in your house and if you want to you can do your mantra jaap.
most householders people prefer doing this with their mala. then they describe it as they did 4 mala or 10 mala of mantra jaap.
eg someone may do a ‘ram naam’ jaap on their mala and it will take them 5 mins for one mala. such mala jaap is generally not linked to the breathing pattern. so he can do 10 malas in an hour.
eg Brahmins do Gayatri jaap with their Gayatri puja 3 times a day. most will do 1mala and if they have time then they will do 5malas.
        etc

counting on fingers for jaap is not very common as people do not know how to count like this.
and if you use a mala then it becomes an object of energy in itself.
choice is yours and both methods are equally valid.

        3. evening Arti of the household deities should be during the evening twilight. we also light a deepak before the household tulsi plant at this time. if you have observed your grandparents doing pujas of your household gods you might have noticed it.
the evening twilight time is the Sandhya kaal.
beyond this if you want to do any mala jaap, it should be manasik.

        4. That earlier comment was for Shri sukta thus it was a specific answer. Do not confuse things.

        5. if someone posts a comment, it does not publish directly, i have to approve it, this can take upto 2days depending on how busy i am

What do you suggest in addition to daily one mantra, whether do to Durga Saptoshloki strotram or Durga kavach recitation , especially for some one undergoing Rahu mahadasha and rahu in Aries ( Aries transit from April).

    For protection and spiritual growth.

      Hi there
Mantra are an individual thing. i do not do readings so will not prescribe personalised mantra.

Soham is the Ajapa mantra you are always reciting with every breath you take, it is the easiest and most natural mantra , can be followed for a lifetime.
and then there are several. use the index page.

you cannot compare 2 mantra, as both are equally powerful. esp all mantra from the Devi Mahatmya are equally powerful. the choice is made as per the requirement of the aspirant.

but if I had to choose between these 2, i would choose the saptashloki. Saptashloki can also be followed as a life time practice, read it after you do your daily pujas.

but what you do is your choice.

    Madam ji
So sorry if its a repetin of question . Ji is there any time constaints for manthra japa? Like hours in morning and seperate hours for separate deities? Sorry its too basic, but i didnt know about it. I did my manthra japa in the morning on weekdays and a bit late on weekends. We should not do that? I have my food only after japa, but dont keep any specific hours. And i only reach home at 7.30 night after work, so after that we should not do any japa? And is there any thing should be done like kshama prarthana if we could not do japa like if we could not make it like travelling or sometjing other than the five days?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
no constraints for Gruhast, you can do it whenver you have time, even when travelling, but do something. and with a pure emotion in your heart.
if you cannot do this then at least listen to stotra or bhajans/ kirtans etc.

but if you can, the Brahma muhurt is the most precious.

I went through the soul evolution post only recently and it was mind blowing. It took away a great weight I carried inside me after starting reading your blogs and I missed it till date, and would have been missed it if you didnt mention it in the comment now. So I am going to start the re reading right now since all the posts are interlinked and missing one will lead to issues like this.

I was so sad and thought that since there was so many typical yogas both good and bad in both my D1 and navamsha i was one of those cursed souls and always envied those who around me who took life as it comes with not so much concerned about karma and all these. Not like me, always depressed and anxity filled and turn every friend into a foe in the meantime atleast once and relatives and friends working aganist me .but through your blogs I got the answers and relieved myself and most importantly forgiven myself since its all pre destined and my own past karma is the factor.but only now i realised that even the yogas are positive or negative its all happening for good and atleast i am on the path.Thankyou…
True as you replied its been 3 years and three years are enough to study a subject and with the mastery of your blogs we are indeed blessed and that too exact time when I started my sadhana.Lots to be learn yet and still learning.๐Ÿ™‚with lots of gratitude ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™…and fully know that i cant put it in words never in this life…

Thank you maam, as always. Personally every year though I do look up at transits, it’s only to see what I can expect around me Or how are people around me going to behave. It’s never really to see how the year is headed for me. I do my set practises ( spiritual and deity adoration) and dont bother about the rest on a personal level.
What I do worry about though is Bharat. When I see people around, whether it’s us commoners or the leaders who arise from among us, it’s worrying.
The absolute decadence of all concerned can only lead to collective karma unfolding on every one.
In a way I am thankful that the time of Mahakaal has arrived.
The need of the hour. Gigantic level destruction of decadent set ups and mindsets and clean up of debris is perhaps what is required.

      Hi there
Subconsciously everyone must have wished for this, requested for this.

the first time i heard the Shiv tandav stotra was the recitation by Uma Mohan, i think in 2006, a mindblowing experience. 15yrs on i still recite/listen to it.
but the interesting thing is that in these past 15yrs or so, practically everyone is reciting/listening to this stotra. from less popular artistes to Shri Kalicharan Maharaj, everyone is reciting it. Uma Mohan’s recitation is popular as a ringtone..
everyone’s mind is immersed in this stotra in some way or the other.

in the initial verses, Dashanan describes the magnificence of the ‘Shivah’ ‘Shivam’ as he performs the Tandav.
and from the sadhak’s point of view the verse is ‘kada nilimpanirjhari… ‘ is important. here Dashanan pleads with the Bhagwan. he asks him when will he be blessed? ie when will his heart melt and flow? and when he will get ‘sukh’ bliss after reciting the Shiv mantra? the words are so beautiful.
everyone has wished for this using these same words. and those who have done so sincerely will definitely get the blessings, the sukh, that they desire.

Couldn’t help responding to your comment….I’ve always been fascinated by the origins of this stotram…

Ravana who composed this stotram was a great devotee of Lord Shiva. Yet, slipping into adharma, Lord Rama destroys him.

Daiva-Asuric sampatti is another area that absolutely intrigues me.

Geeta talks about it (Daivasura-Sampad-Vibhaga Yoga, Chapter 16), (though I do wish you would write a post on it…๐Ÿ˜Š)

…..That humans are a mix of both these energies etc…That’s why Sanatana Dharma keeps these energies on an upward spiral, so to speak. Otherwise, all hell breaks loose. Literally.

Individuals, cultures, countries…all are prone to the upward or downward spiral. And yes, it’s getting obvious that the negative is holding too much sway over the whole planet.

I feel disconnected to the world order/culture at the moment…for many reasons, if not one especially …..that Mother Nature has been exploited and abused too much.

……I too pray that Dharma resets itself for the sake of Mother Earth that is sustaining an unwholesome humanity.

    Happy Ekadeshi…๐Ÿ™

      Hi there
Read Pranav Gita, the original Bengali or the Hindi translation (not the English, it is not a good translation), you will get the answer to your questions.

Dashanan was an extraordinary individual, he gave his 10 heads to Bhagwan Mahakaal where we cannot give even one.

Shri Ram had to kill him to satisfy the boon that Bhagwan Vishnu himself had given to his Dvarpal.

Mother Nature has been hurt, no doubt. And her other children who reside in her mountains and rivers have been denied their favourite playgrounds because of our misbehaviour.
But more critical is that we have abused our own selves, by not listening to our own conscience, by suppressing our own internal voice. There is no greater negative karma than this. And Saturn positioned as he is right now, everyone wont have to wait for our next lives for rebalancing the pendency, which from a larger perspective can perhaps be considered to a good thing, or not?

Paapnashini Ekadashi is indeed an happy day. ๐Ÿ™

I have some doubts here mam.. Is it correct to do introspection like this ?? If the planet has a chance to do good if it wins the planetary war, won’t the planet do good if it loses ?? Or does it give negative results ??

If the yogakaraka planet is lost in graha yud , is it very difficult to get a positive response from that planet either in transit or lagna chart mam ?? What is your perception on defeated planets mam ??

      Hi there
You have answered your own question
      5th lord
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2018/09/28/how-deep-is-your-love/

There is a difference between the 9th house energy which inspires and infatuation/ 5th house.
Think on the 9th house and its qualities. A peer, teacher, elder, someone who supports and guides. eg this blog is the 9th house for its readers.

Do not confuse things. The Mind cannot be allowed to imagine more than what really is.
Jyotish is also a way of controlling the mind from running around.

I am repeating myself. The 9th house is that spark of โ€˜timely luckโ€™ which helps your 1st house in a deep way. You are supposed to use this inspiration, this spark, to develop your personality. And an inspiration is always a very brief flash. The 9th house is not a crutch you lean on forever.

I have mentioned this in an earlier comment. The lamp does not need the matchstick after it has been lit and neither does it miss it. It remains radiant in its own light. So find your own light.

Read the Ishavasya upanishad. It might perhaps bring clarity. Just the Shantipath is the gist of all true wisdom.
      https://shlokam.org/isha/

Planets who lose the graha yuddha are constrained from giving their full results. And depending on whom they have lost to and in what sign, they can give adverse results too.
