In today’s superficial world we have lots of social ‘friends’ who ‘like’ us, ‘besties’ and ‘bff’s’, but then when we look around for that buddy when we really need someone, there is no one. Life time friendships and close friends are a thing of the past and most of us labour on through life without shoulder to cry on. And we too never attempt to really try to give our friends a boost when they need it. All of us are very busy in our lives and most best-friend-forever’s are the fair weather variety who disappear at the first hint of trouble.

Having no or very few genuine friends is a reality of our times. So let’s try to analyse our friends or the lack of them astrologically.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

First to check out which sort of people do each of the houses bring into your life.

  • The 1st house brings in people who are like your own self and are generally supportive. People who help in creating your personality and are a huge part of your environment.
  • The 2nd house brings your family members closer to you, people you have known throughout your life. These people help you and your family grow and gain in several ways, its a close knit thing.
  • The 3rd house is siblings, the neighbourhood, all those linked to you by a common purpose or a team with common skill sets. They support you only upto limited levels and later will become your competitors.
  • Anyone you meet through your 4th house is a maternal figure in some way connected to your homeland and traditions. You are comfortable with these, but there is an undercurrent of need based love which can become suffocating later.
  • The 5th house rarely brings friends, it is the house of self-referential genius. You prefer self-love here and do not allow friendly relationships to emerge from its depths.
  • The 6th brings in people whom you owe service, money, debts, emotions, worry or work. No friends here, it is the breakdown of all amiable relationships.
  • The 7th house is that one real best friend, the closest one-one relationship that you will have with one or rarely two people in your life. The one whom you instinctively yearn for. Someone whom you instantly know to be your own, a spouse or a platonic friend. You just know that he is your partner and friend for life.
  • The 8th house is all those people you’d rather not meet. Harbingers of catastrophes and traumatic change. Your interactions in the 8th are are generally painful and thankfully short.
  • The guides who support are brought in by the 9th house. Good people, peer and patrons but you wouldn’t be very comfortable partying with or sharing your innermost feelings here.
  • The 10th is all sorts of fatherly figures, even the boss who teaches you how to conduct yourself in the office. They expect best behaviour and work from you. No friends here.
  • Now the 11th house is your friend and it supports your like minded groups. All the interactions, the help that you may give or receive from people you would like to spend time with, go out with, enjoy with because you all are alike in some way or the other. It is the gain in terms of emotional support and the physical presence of having your friend around when you need him the most.
  • And finally the 12th rarely brings in actual people as friends. It can allow entities or spiritual helpers during your mediative or dream states. Or people who can lead you astray, cause you losses or make you feel alone.

eg. Open your chart, note the sign placed in the 11th house. Note where its lord is placed. eg suppose it is Gemini, ruled by Mercury. And Mercury is placed in your 3rd house. So your ideal friend is the one who is more of a team-mate, someone with whom you can learn new things and later compete with.

So to have ‘friends’ as we understand it, the basic requirement is a strong 11th house supported by an auspicious 7th house. In case these two are working against you, then there are no real friends for you.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

Here I am listing some possible combinations for friendlessness which indicate people whom you initially think to be your ‘friends’, but they will be inimical to you and your interests. If you think of anyone as your ‘friend’, the inherent imbalance will start affecting the relationship.

If these combinations exist in your birth Moon chart, then the effects will be seen on the emotional levels more than physical levels. Lack of emotional satisfaction and emotional suffering from your friends.

Malefics in the 11th house

Natural malefics – Wrote about the role of the natural malefics ie Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in the 11th house and your friendships in this post.Natural malefics in the 11th house do not grant genuine friendships.

If this planet is either your ascendant lord or a yogkarak for your chart, then he will always support you, not harm you. But the types of people he indicates will still enter your life posing as ‘friends’ with ulterior motives. But the difference is that you will be able to manage your ‘friend-circle’ so as to always gain from them. Especially so if this planet is powerful. But if this planet is debilitated, then be aware that your friends will try use your talents or cheat you in ways you do not expect and cause you harm.

Functional malefics – There are 3 houses of turmoil the 6th 8th and 12th. (The 3rd house can go both ways depending on the chart)

  • The 6th house and its lord. Any connect between the 6th and the 11th house does not give genuine friendships. You are required to be there for your friends and will lose money or get stressed because of them. People will briefly come in your life, take something from you and vanish forever. They will make you serve and suffer. You might lose your time, money, emotions or energy in these interactions. So be careful about people whom you meet especially in the course of your profession or in social settings, those who try to get close to you. Unhappiness is often a result.
  • The 8th house and its lord. If there is a connect between these and the 11th house in any way, then your friendships will not prosper. There will be an initial fascination because of some common secrets, mysteriousness, occult interests etc. The initial spark will entice, but as time passes this will fade. Often explosive arguments or actual physical fights, after which the friendship ends. Suppressed rage issues are often a result.
  • The 12th house and its lord. A connection between the 11th and the 12th house/lords means that you might meet people in isolated places, eg treks in remote areas, at retreats for meditation, in hospitals, or if the chart is bad then even in jails etc. You will be drawn to them because of undefinable reasons, pinning down the exact reason this person came close to you will not be easy. But eventually these people will cause losses in your life. You might take this in a philosophical vein but sorrow is often a result.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The power of the 11th lord. And if you have any planet in the 11th then analyse him too. If he is affected in any way he will not be able to provide you with life time friends. A simple interpretation would be something like this,

  • debilitated planet – mean minded people will come into your life posing as friends. They will try to put you down, injure your self confidence, diminish your self ego, make use of your assets for their purposes, cheat you.
  • combust planet – your ‘friends’ turn out to be selfish and self-centred. They expect praise and recognition form you but never notice the important things about you. No real interaction is possible with such self-referential egoistic people so the friendship will naturally be short lived.
  • You can further check the power of the planet using Shadbala concepts and their interpretations. A planet with low power cannot give pleasing results.
  • Especially check his Ishta Kashta phala, a planet with high Kashta phala will grant you friends who give you pain.

You can also cross check with the Ashtakvarga table.

  • The score of the 11th house sign, should be more than 27 points in order to give favourable results.
  • The score of the 11th lord in the sign he is placed in should be more than 4, for auspicious results.
  • If you have a planet in the 11th house check his score for the sign he is placed in, ie your 11th house sign. This less than 4 will grant failure in friendships.

Use the Navamsha chart for checking the potential of the 11th house things. (detailed post on Navamsha analysis). Any connect with the Dusham sthan here can affect things.

  • eg. Suppose your main birth chart 6th house is Virgo/Mercury so naturally the 11th house will be Aquarius/Saturn. In your navamsha chart, check if Saturn has been allocated to Virgo navamsha. Or Mercury is placed in Aquarius navamsha. If this is so, then your friends will seem very good on the face but will have a rotten core. They will hurt you and eventually exit from your life.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

If your 11th house is very strong then this means that you will benefit from your friends. For this to happen your friend has to first have something which he can then give to you. So your own 11th energies will act as a catalyst on him and give him several benefits. On the subconscious levels it is expected that he will give them back to you, thus sustain that loop in a positive feedback situation. Now we will have to see his Dharma trikon, if this is strong then he will happily give it to you and the self-sustaining loop will continue. But if his Dharma trikon is afflicted, he will not be able to hold up his part of the subconscious bargain and you will not get the benefit that your 11th house has created in him, to give to you. And the loop will sense a negative feedback and the friendship will be severed. This is a rather convoluted logic but this is the way it works.

A strong 11th house will not allow a sneaky person to enter your life as a friend. So if you are having issues with ‘friends’ it is your 11th house that needs to be addressed. Ultimately you are responsible for what is happening to you and there are several ways to resolve these negative patterns.

Everything that happens in our lives is for a reason, basically karma. It is possible that you do not understand astrology much, but even then, reading these posts will be helpful. Knowing that the reason your bosom friend kicked you in the ass had something to do with 6th house or something like that and was not your fault per se, can help bring acceptance and closure.

A timely article, I know someone who has a Libra ascendant, 11th house is naturally a badhakesh for this sign, on top of that the 11th lord Sun is placed in the 6th house and there is Ketu situated in the 11th! Fair to say their friendship luck is damaged, I suppose. I also find this person is always lonely and excluded and has a tough time making friends in general.

This knowledge has reached me very late in my life , every friend of mine was showing , n even telling me the same things about friends not in a astrological way though , they used to say , friends are not real …
Which I used to ignore , I hv given my top quality time to them , in return for below average returns , I hv not incurred any monetary loss , but never understood why they don’t value of friends…
Your post given me the reason , they’ve gained in terms of emotional happiness without losing their comforts ..
I had to go through lot of pain’n loss of time , efforts ,which they never wanted anyway ..

      Wonderful post ,
      Thank you

So for a libra ascendant, people we meet through venus, it being linked to 1st house and 8th house implies that everyone we meet are going to have a deep personal transformation (often traumatic) impact on the native. Also if venus is linked to 7th lord in 4th house (where 7th lord is exalt), how do we know if this association survives? The 4th house has an undercurrent need based love and venus rules 8th house, what can be inferred?

    Namaste Respected Madam,

Thank you for this informative post as always.

Some ascendants, Gemini, Scorpio, Sagittarius seem to have this inherent challenge built in their charts since their 11th lord and the 6th or 8th house lords are the same.

Maam is there any combination which makes people wanting to come back to you as friend even after things have soured for years( for the native) and you call it off after bad experience.

I do have 6 th and 11 th Lord interaction so used to end up in one sided exploitative friendships which were costly on time money and energy. But some years ago decided it was not worth it and now wilfully keep equations superficial and with zero expectations and don’t expend much energy on anyone. This Hugely benefitted me but keep having several friends from past who keep trying to “get back in the circle”despite knowing am done with them.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
connect with the 6th can easily get exploitative, you are seen as a easy target by the agents of the 6th.
and you have noted this combination yourself.

Recently you mentioned in one of your comments that “not liking some type of people is also karma”. Can you please elaborate on this?

Personally I hate diplomatic people…i am very allergic to them…how can i see such thing in my chart?

Also, you were about to write on 3rd house as death of death i.e 8th from 8th….

      Hi there
any sort of deeply felt bond (negative or positive) between 2 individuals is essentially karmic.

      check mercury or 3rd house

    Pranaam Madam,
Thanks as always for this post. I want to share how brilliantly resonating this post is . Also, Madam, I would like to submit this analysis for your kind evaluation please correct if I am wrong in my interpretation, it was essentially this post that gave me a little confidence to post it here.

Way before my humble journey started in Jyotish, I had had my share of “nasty” experiences with recurring patterns with “friends”. I started albeit slowly, but then the first thing that I noticed that my 11th lord was aspected by my 6th house lord.

But all the people (literally all!!!) who had a major influence in my life, the ones who brought in the major twists and turns, all had either their ascendant or their birth moon in my 11th house!!!.

This pattern is simply mind boggling Madam!!!. And a majority of this events occurred when I did not even know what a horoscope looked like. Only when I look back now, the patterns are clearer.

Moreover, my 6th house lord aspects my 11th house lord, so the net result is actually “zero” friends that I could rely on, the way that we all want our ideal friends to be like.

This is my small and humble interpretation, please forgive any mistakes Madam. It is only now I understand that there are no coincidences in life

Again I dont have words to express my gratitude.

Sincere regards and best wishes and prayers,

Hello maam. My question is on a topic I read on long ago.
It’s claimed (RK mission) and many others that Ramakrishna Paramahamsa came into the bhava of Radha, and abrahamic prophets.
Also when he used to go into the middle Eastern prophets bhava he would apparently totally forego his “hindu” God’s and goddesses.
Apparently to explain equality of religion this was claimed ( to be noted it’s never personally claimed by him)
Personally my objection to this narrative is, Devi Kali worship who he was an intense devotee of would be considered sacrilege in Abrahamic faith. Feminine energy idol worship would be done to death as per faith of many.
Would a person of the level of Ramakrishna, go into bhava of radha who just did not exist or prophets who believe Kali worship is a road to hell??
Either this is truckload of misinformation deliberately spread ( including by Rk mission) or ……? Please clear it for me.

      Hi there
Once the main Guru leaves the physical shell I have observed that the Sampradaya fails to sustain. Power hungry people gain control over it and its subscribers and it is all over.
Trusts and societies are formed to handle the money and land that the Math controlled and then money becomes an objective.
Running a Sampradaya is big money and power these days.

eg there is one Math which says that it is an original Shankaracharya Math. everyone knows that it is a fake. but still these people there wield political power.
eg several people call themselves ‘Shanakracharya’ these days!
imagine if they got a ready made follower Sampradaya group of a genuine Guru how they would use them?
eg. there is one very disgusting person calling himself a guru these days, still in the limelight. he uses a negative form of tantra to channelise the shraddha energy of his followers for enhancing his own energy.
eg there is a global enterprise saying that it is the direct lineage of Lahiri Mahashaya. i know for a fact that the meditation technique they teach is wrong. but still the name of the original Guru ensures that people flock there.

these people use the name of the original Guru but the rest of it is pure business.

another tactic they use is to write ‘charitra’ or ‘pothi’, a book filled with miracles which the person supposedly performed. Generally written by some disciple of that person. best is to keep away from all such ‘charitra’ and the people they are written about.

instead read the pure tattva-jnyan if the Guru has written it personally. eg for marathi people, Jnaneshwari or Dasbodh or Eknathi Bhagwat are infinitely better than any miracle filled ‘charitra’.

then words spoken by a Guru have power. eg i have seen a small video of Mata Anandamayi singing with her disciples, reciting the line ‘Satyam jnyanm anantam brahmah’. just this one clip of 10secs of these 4 words in her voice can grant Moksh if the disciple is sincere enough.

I have written several posts on what a real Guru is like. Be very very careful before giving your Shraddha to anyone. Shraddha is the biggest force, intelligence, ie it is your connect with your Self. it is the most precious thing with the max power.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/07/jivan-mukt-and-videha-mukt/

As far as Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is concerned he was a devotee of Devi Kali, ie a worshipper of Sagun Brahma in the form of Devi Kali till his Guru Shri Totapuri a Naga sadhu let him see the Advaita within himself. There is an interesting story behind it. I had written on this earlier too. RKP would say that in Dhyan he would see Devi Kali and that was it. But his Guru would get cross and ask him to cut down her image, only then he would be able to progress. But RKP was unable to do so. So one day Guru Totapuri told him to sit for Dhyan in front of him, and then cut at his 3rd eye with a piece of glass. At that moment RKP in his Dhyan could create a sword and cut down Devi Kali’s image and thus See Himself thus attaining Jivan Mukti.

So all this you have mentioned in your comment is sheer nonsense. RKP was never a Radha bhakt or a Middle East religion follower. Radha does not exist. Ie there is no mention of this fiction in the Mahabharat. (This name is first seen in a very disgusting ‘poem’ composed a few centuries ago). Yolo religions are the bane of this earth. They have tried to replace Dharma which is impossible, but still they are trying to. Sometime ago there was a question on Buddhism. This line of thought does not accept the presence of the Atma! Its entire premise is so fundamentally flawed. No Atma means that today I am this Tejaswini and tomorrow I will wake up to become some other person eg Mihir? There can be no reincarnation no karma no mantra no yantra no tantra no Devi no Purush no Lila no thing no Moksh! if you reject the Atma itself. it is a mish mash of non consistent stuff.

everything comes from Sanatan Dharma. eg i can logically point out the Sanatan source code in every religion that is on this earth today and also how it was twisted by a few people to keep power in their hands. but tht would be an incredible waste of my time.

So best keep away from flawed thought processes. Why use your mental energy in dissecting these? It is not worth it.
There are limited breaths for which you will occupy this human body. Make sadupyog of these.
Your Guru is within you. Follow your Dharma, do your Dhyan, your Mantra and eventually find your own Self.

I had to ask since I was discussing with someone about RKP and the unrelated kriya fellowship which an organization claims to offer( all supposedly stemming from lahiri mahasaya. Tried to dissuade that person from getting into it, but then realized it’s waste of time and it’s that persons karma to unfold…

one is in jail, a few more are still out. one whom i find particularly obnoxious is all over the media.

and this is not restricted to hinduism.. the religions also have such type of fakes who use the power of negative entities to enhance their hold on their followers.
i think it is more rampant in the religions rather than in hinduism.

    Hi

I like the blog post a lot, it address a lot of what I’m currently going through. Friendship is everything. Most men communicate with other men in perfectly clear language that females do not understand, and females do not understand the concept of friendship, that which is sacred is beyond their scope.

I’ve been reading plenty of comments from other realised souls here, we are all on the same journey are we not

Yet to hear a remedy. Yet to hear a solution, yet to hear something that balances out the play of the planets. Truly believe that whatever card that we have been dealt with, there’s a way to counter it or to make it better.

I wear a Mukhi rudraksha, I pray to shivji daily, listen to Sri Suktam, and I am 100 percent confident tesjwasini ji has something to say for the souls who are fighting back for better moments, to find a friend in this fake worldZ

Life is NOT a self professing dismal propfhecy; it belongs to those who take fate by their hands and create a path no jyotish can ever predict

I follow the rules of tithi; nakshtra, panchang and chorgadhiya based on the advice of mrs tejasvini, I know that it’s a hit and miss sometimes, but I know that bhagwan ji dekh rahe hai, and all of life is based on what we do NOW, what we think NOW

The unfortunate ones with failed friendships, how bad did we do it wrong in our past lives that we have suffer the way we do

Maybe the reason we have no friends is because we’re too pure hearted or real for anybody out there. Maybe we’re the outliers, the misfits; the ones who don’t belong

A quote that comes to mind:

jiska koi nahi hai; uska bhagwan hai”

Translation: “God belongs to those who have nobody”

Jai Shri Ram: Om Namah Shivaya.

Coz the first marriage has experienced 8th,6th, 12th, moon, mercury, 7th lord positions. Now how to check for healtiness of 2nd marriage in terms of longitivity, mental behaviour, manglik dosha, should i start looking at 8th, 6th,12th from second house? Please guide mam.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/01/14/matching-charts-for-marriage/

the 2nd house, planets, lord etc will have to be examined for the viability of the second marriage.
you can extrapolate it like you have said if you want. but more important are the dasha which will come after this marriage. examine these in depth if these are of shubh graha then the marriage will sustain without much turbulence.
practically what i do is to check the prashna kundali. even if the client does not pose it as a prashna. fr me this is the easiest option.

esp about aries and libra having the same 1st 8th lord.

lord is not the only thing which is used to calculate results. planet occupying/aspecting, navamsha, ashtakvarga etc, if you get into more depth nakshatra, chakra etc.
how can you say that the signs are the same just coz they have the same ruler?

Hello maam. BTW was checking out my chart collection and found an uncles chart with ketu in 11 th house. He’s in his fifties now but few years ago when he crossed 48 years, there was some problem at his workplace following which people he had considered his friends from years all deserted him. ( this used to be a person who spent more time with friends than family).
As his 7 th Lord was also conjunct ketu in 11 th, spouse got transferred to an overseas post.
And the timing of dasha/ antardasha/ pratyantar was spot on.

    Madam ji

In case of unrequited love what wil be the karmic bondage ? I dont know if i am articulating it correctly, but if a person is well into moksha path and another person of opposite gender has some karmic bondage with the first person how it can be resolved? Or in one case if two people have karmic connections and one person didnt fulfill / balance the bondage in one birth but did very advanced spiritual journey, still he/ she need to balance it in the next birth?
My guess is since the person have the spiritual base that person need not balance the energy or they may go through it in the dream state, but then wat wil happen to the other person?
In one of the posts ji wrote about “be sympatgetic in your relationship and open up to ur spouse to resolve the karmic bondage…something like that related to venus , not the exact words . Or is it become the last test for the spiritual person? 🙏

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
I do not get the concept of ‘unrequited love’.
U love someone yes? tht is your personal feeling and you are feeling it, great. Good for you. its a feeling which elevates the mind, you feel strongly for someone other than yourself.
But why shud you expect that other person to feel the same love for you in return?from my point of view this is an unreasonable expectation.

a very trivial example. you offer someone rs 10 and expect him to accept it and also offer you rs 10 in return. Wht if
1 he does not want the rs 10
      2 or doesn’t need the rs 10
3 or doesn’t want the rs 10 specifically from you
4 he may keep the rs 10 but not offer you the same amount in return etc
so many ways in which he can react.

You are feeling the karmic bond as an emotion in your mind. maybe it is from some past life where you registered it as a pending karma for you.
But there is no compulsion that he feels it too. His karma is as per his conscience, not yours.
So check the horoscopes first. Is there anything or just your mind acting up?
Karmic bonds are seen mainly from positions of Rahu and Ketu.
wrote several posts on karmic ties.

Or, if this was a karma in his account too then it is his choice how he wants to deal with it. He can decide to burn it up in his Dhyan Agni. In this case check the position of Saturn etc for asceticism qualities.
      wrote on this too.

If you are expecting something, you are putting yourself up for pain in any case in the future. Expectation is the root cause of sorrow, has been reiterated by all our Gurus.
but again if you want something very intensely it will be given to you, if not in this life then in some other. but it may not be what you expect, so be very careful about your desires.

eventually higher level sadhaks prefer to find the mirror in their own spiritual practice rather than another person.
what i have written in that post will be for regular householder people.

Thankyou for the reply, as always spot on and to the point. 🙏
The situation i refrrred was one of my cousin who got married and now he dont waant to continue the relatiinship, and by checking his chart i found out he is cancer birthmoon and gemini ascendent and so many planets in 6th house including venus. So i think he is well into spiritual journey if he aspires to. And was under the guidence of a guru also from the age of 9, but he got married and his spiritual practises also changed just like madamji wrote in one of the posts.the girl is simple just wanted a family life with him.But now he is not interested and talking about going for formal sanyasa or atleast going from home. So just wanted to know if there is any karmic repurcussions and how it wil affect the girl.
Eventhough he is my cousin somehow i couldnt agree with him, so thought about asking you eventhough since i went through so many of ur posts about the experience of dhyan, free will , acetism and all
its as per his conscience and their choice. thankyou again for the detailed reply…🙏

        Hi there
        This is not unrequited love!
This is the proper Vivah sanskar. Its Dharma.

If he is married he cannot take Sanyas without the permission of his wife.
Its her choice in this matter. No one can force her.

The most practical solution is tht there is at least one child to satisfy the ancestors and then if he wants he can continue his sadhana at home ie but not take sanyas.

If he had this inclination he shudnt have got into the Vivah sanskar.

      Hi there
I wrote about RKP, as his story is documented and there was a specific question. It is not a comment on the worship of Devi Kali! the context is all important. Do not quote my comments out of the context in which I had made them.

I have a Satguru, the Advaita in a Jivan Mukt format. I do Dhyan on the Ajapa mantra.
Yet I was required to do pujas of Devi Kali, Laxmi, Sarasvati the Lalitatripursundari herself. i have written about all this in my this blog itself.
I was made to go to temples. I wrote a post on this. so many of them, so many times. These are energy banks. you go there to pick up your own stuff which you had banked there several lives ago.
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/06/30/temples-in-india-where-i-have-been-to/

I wrote on the real nature of the deities, the Dasha Mahavidya, the tri-Dev Om etc. they are all Sagun Brahma roop. You have to recognise that the same Advaita resides within all these deities. But at your level you cannot absorb the pure Advaita so you use these images to give it some form which your mind can accept.
I have repeatedly mentioned in my posts on Advaita that you will have to let go of your mantra, even Om will be discarded at that level. All forms of Sagun Brahma have to be destroyed at the PhD level. This RKP achieved by the Krupa of his own Satguru Totapuri.
But for school and college levels you have to worship a Sagun roop. And it is a lovely thing. Enjoy it to the fullest.

      etc

Another thing I have observed people doing pujas of the Bhagwan Shankar or Bhagwan Vishnu without doing the pujas of their wives Devi Parvati or Devi Laxmi. if you do this you wil get sloe results. To ‘move’ them their corresponding wives need to be active. Ie if you are worshipping Satvagun then worship both Laxmi – Vishnu or if you are worshipping Vishuddha Tamogun worship Shankar – Parvati. They are pairs, both have to be worshipped together to get what you want. Eg if you worship Shri Ram, first worship Devi Sita. Or if you worship Shri Krishna worship Devi Rukmini first etc.
or the other way round, ie if you worship Devi Parvati (in any of her forms) without her husband then the results will be fast but not very long lasting. Devi Laxmi, likewise without her husband is also called Chanchalaa or Chapalaa. fast results but not very deep and alwys changeable.

Another way of describing this, is the active principle ‘wife’ is the ‘fuse’ which lights up the ‘100000 megaton bomb’ that the ‘husband’ signifies. both go together.

(Doing pujas of Brahmadev is simply not possible as we humans are highly degraded now. So we worship his wife Devi Sarasvati. and the energy of this ‘fuse’ is so high that only specialised people who promise to live in a specific way for a life time can even approach it.)

One problem that we face is that we think that Shiv or Narayan is the Tama or Satva Gun but it is not like that. These names are of the Advaita itself. Anyways that is PhD stuff. i have written a lot on this, use the index page or the search bar if you want.

Short answer, do not worry. Focus on your mantra and let things unfold as they will.

You are very generous in your responses, thank you so much 🙂 Those are some very wonderful, yet such high level things that you have noted in your reply! As of now, I’m slowly starting to even read about some of these concepts, but since I have in some ways been brought up surrounded by Advaita traditions, much of my understanding is intuitive. I was automatically drawn to the Nirvana Shatakam for example, I dont think there can be anything more beautiful than it. But it automatically resonated, I didn’t try to find or understand it. Same with the devi. My mother says she decided to come and protect you because you called. I intuitively felt the devi to be like a mother, and I think I felt more comfortable sharing my trauma with her. Maybe that’s why. We have been all been brought up in the rational scientific way, so sometimes I feel strange saying these kinds of things. But there’s no denying how I feel. Thank you for deleting my experiences above. It’s very kind of you.

    Dear Tejaswini Ji,
In above comments, you have mentioned that for saguna swaroop, we should worship in pairs like Shiv Parvati, Vishnu Laxmi. But in case of Hanuman or Ganesha, can we worship them alone..?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
think for yourself. i will give you a hint.

      what are the Tri gun?
Only they are shown as husband-wife pairs. they are the potential and kinetic aspects of the satva raja tama gun. Only when the gun get into this divided form or develop polarity does further creation start.
i have compared the ‘wife’ to a ‘fuse’ and the ‘husband’ to a ‘10000megaton bomb’ of energy. both are needed together. one without the other is of no use.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/08/trigun-satva-raja-tama/

      what is the Maruti?
He is shown with 5 faces, his other and most important name is the Mukhya Pran Devata. we use this name very commonly in the Dakshin. also use Maruti, ie we evoke him more as the Pran itself. He is complete in himself.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/07/12/ramayan-hanuman-and-sundarkand/

What is the Ganpati? He is the embodiment of the Pranav mantra, ie Om. Also controls your entry into the Sushumna. He is complete in himself.

    Dear Tejaswini ,

So let’s say one has a corrupted family section and personal relationships and the friends area of life isn’t showing any promises , how does one fill this void ?

Emotionally speaking spiritual practice can’t hold you when you need a mother, it can’t comfort you when you need true Guidance in life.

    Thank you 😊!

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
the only way to fulfil any ‘voids’ in your life is your spiritual practice.
who recognises this void in your life? your Mind does this. not You.
You are not your Mind. you are the Paramatma itself. the Mind Manas is just one of the 24tattva created by Devi Prakruti for Lila.
the only real way to fulfil the mind is the Mantra no other. once the mind is fulfilled you realise that your mom, dad, husband, son, brother, sister are all your own self.

i will give you an eg.
you love your mom and she loves you back.
one fine day you choose a nice young man to marry, he is earning well, is good looking, from a good family, etc ie fulfills all reasonable expectations. but your mother takes an instant dislike to him. and tells you to not marry him. this drags on for a year. what will you do?
      1 commit suicide
2 get into a court marriage
3 forget the man you love and who loves you, both never marry any one else, life time of unhappiness
4 forget the man you love and who loves you, both marry other people coz social pressure remain unhappy
etc etc so many options. and these things happen.
the love that the child felt for the mother and the love that the mother felt for the child vanishes.
i have seen all these options in my life as a Jyotishi. so many relationships changed cos the play of the Manas. some in my own family where a cousin sister committed suicide just for this reason.

you ‘love’ someone only as long as he/she acts in a way suitable to your Manas.

when you do your Dhyan, you will realise that the Mind is the root cause of every thing you feel, need, perceive etc, thus the importance of the birth Moon.
give the Moon the permanent supprt of the Mantra and it will stop searching for temporary ‘fixes’ outside.
do this as an experiment if you want to see the use of Mantra in supporting the Manas.
Do Soham jaap 108 time sincerely every day. or Gayatri or Tryambakam or Om Namah Shivaya or Om namo bhagvate vasudevaya, or Om namo narayanaya. do it for one year and then see what your Mind says to you.

Personal spiritual practice always Holds in so many ways which cannot be described to someone who does not do it. it has to be experienced. so Do it for yourself.

I was searching for details on Tarabalam on Google that’s when I found this site and since then I’ve been reading your posts continuously on daily basis. It took me more than 4 months to reach to this post.
Learnt many new concepts in astrology and spirituality. Got answers to many of my questions. Really very grateful to you for sharing these contents 🙏🏻

However, I had this one thing on my mind that I wanted to share. This is out of curiosity and based on the data you shared in some posts and comments, I was able figure out your birth date & time(+-5mins) and hence the birth chart. But do not want to share it publicly here.
So, just writing about “D9” chart(Navamsa) in an indirect way for confirmation so that it will be difficult for others to guess.
    – Asc, Asc lord, 3rd & 6th lord are Vargottam
    – 6th & 11th lord are in sign exchange
    – 9th & 10th lord are in their debilitated navamsa signs
    – 5th lord in it’s own navamsa sign
    – 7th lord is connected with Asc
    – 2 significant planets in 2-8 axis

One thing I can write about D1 chart is that 5th, 6th & 7th lords are retrograde.

Again, I had no intention of hurting you by sharing these details. It was on my mind so wanted to share.

    Pranam 🙏🏻

some of the combinations guessed were right some were wrong.
Obviously as there are no markers from my personal life to tally the readings, the entire chart cannot be guessed at.
a few of the combinations are obvious. eg i write so mercury and 3rd house have to be strong etc.

    Hello maam
One observation from charts I have of people who are 60 plus and settled abroad from last 4 decades or so…
These people had 12 th house as important pivotal points of chart .
Going abroad removed a lot of the other popular connotations of 12 th house.
But once they became citizens of another country, and /or after prolonged stay as citizens of another land after maybe 2 decades of stay , the 12 th house themes presented again…
So depending on which planet or which Lord was connected with 12 th house, those themes became so prominent, something which was lying dormant for so many years in their lives.
Just an observation I wanted to share from those charts.. No idea if that’s how it would be if I was able to get larger collection of charts.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
      you r right.
as these people start thinking of their new place of residence as their ‘home’, it is enough for the 12th house to again start giving its typical result.

Should the tuft with 3-eyes be pointing my heart or pointing my finger-tips. (2) The coconut which is filled with intention, and kept in pooja alter, can I use the coconut that has husk, the reason being of the coconut cracked, then its emotionally hurts. If I can use husked coconut, then in which direction should I hold the husked coconut, the pointed end ( which looks down to earth) would be near my heart or finger tips.

Haven’t visited your blog lately, you’ve written some great posts..
Going through this post reminds me of a strange incident that took place couple of years ago just before COVID broke out in India, my 11th lord is connected to the 8th house but in athi-mitra rashi (great friend) and aspected by benefics. I experienced sudden & unexpected events in my life after meeting and becoming friends with a guy during my travel. It was like at the time we met we both were experiencing the same situation in our lives and had similar interests, it was like I experienced the same event he was going through after a couple of weeks. Though our friendship did not last for long and we aren’t in contact either.

So I guess the sign matters a lot here..

What you’d mentioned here seems to apply in my case.. and what is surprising is we met on the day ruled by the planet that owns my 11th house!

I am junior KG in my spiritual journey , hence I have a naive question, I have started the Soham jaap, and I can control my thoughts during the mantra jaap phase ,but once the mantra jaap is over when we actually sit for the Dhyan phase, all the thoughts come flooding back, and thus Dhyan phase is not very long.

Any suggestions for me to stop these thoughts or to handle them Madam?

most of these are trauma related past incidents and trauma related past people, so I end up feeling emotions like anger fear etc..

    Sincere thanks Madam,

      Hi there
you have answered your own Q in your Q itself.
      read it again…

in this second phase, your own past life karma is coming up for resolution. unresolved stuff is being burnt by the fire of your Dhyan. see it as you would watch a painting and forget it. its gone its over.
this is exactly what happens in this process. but as your mind is fortified by the 108 mantra you have just done so can deal with the trauma easily. depending on your capacity and the level of that past life trauma, you might even feel tears coming from your eyes.
it is all ok. let it happen, be a witness.

it does not matter if the dhyan phase is for 2 mins or 2 days. it is all ok. your internal Guru has taken you in his hand, trust your self

    Namaste mam,
Thank you for the beautiful post “To observe Oneself is Moksh”.
Mam, should we focus on agnya chakra only during dhyana, or sometimes the mind says to focus on agnya chakra as I sit to eat, to read, while closing my eyes during sleep, or while reading your blog. It says to experiment/explore, but this intense feeling will be for seconds and then vanishes completely. Shoul I focus at those time of eat, sleep, read on agnya chakra. Is it safe for my energy body. This feeling last for only few seconds and I don’t normally focus, as I am not on my asana and not done the Soham jaap!
Can you guide on this mam.

    Namaste mam,
I’m back again, thank you for the beautiful post “Use the healing energies of Sound”. That pulled me to my high school time, where the Sanskrit lines ” aa ee uu na” was thought, I don’t remember the chapter but it was very fascinating to memorize it. Thank you for that super flashback.

I infact tried the raaga for the afternoon, and could fill my eyes when listened to it, consciously. This level always stays for few moments and then i jumped like a monkey to other raagas and did not complete any of them fully!

Mam, we make sounds or ragas only during exhalation. I hope there is no varnamala that makes sound during inhalation! Am I wrong? If there is any word said during inhalation please let me know ,mam.
Even OMkara is during exhalation. What the essence behind this. If my question sounds crazy, please don’t be troubled and you can ignore answering.
I had no attention to sounds or i did not weigh them so much so, that after your post, I feel respectful about sounds. Thank you for that transitional post.

      Hi there
i was waiting for you to realise that.
all motion of air/pran is always accompanied by a mantra. even if you are not conscious of it

you can read about the 4 states of speech Para, Pasyanti, Madhyama and Vaikhari to know more.
depending on your level of awareness you become more aware of the deeper intelligence hidden in sound till you reach Para, ie attain Advaita.

Thank you mam, I usually wait like a ‘baka pakshi’ to hear from you. Thank you to introduce knowledge of 4 stages of speech, in me. I will try to understand them.
Infact the 7.83 hz frequency, I googled and download app to see and hear the frequency and in the YouTube tried to hear the EM waves/sound of our earth.
7.83hz cannot be heard by us. Can you please show some light on this frequency significance, mam. Thank you in advance.

Thank you mam. I have ketu in 11th house and rarely have friends. Friends, relatives, close family relationship have given me back stabbing. This pattern keep repeating and i reached a point in life a year ago i decided not to have any friends. I am my own friend and i have peace of mind.
