Pure soil and its use in pujas

The purest soil that you can get is the soil from the termitaria. Termites are very common in the forests of Sal, Shorea robusta or in  other tropical and temperate forests. In healthy forests, they build a huge number of termitaria, one at almost every 10 sq.m. I live about 1hr away from such forests so I always have a supply of its pure soil in my puja room. If you come across such termitaria, keep a small block of this soil in your house. When harvesting the soil, choose a block which seems to be abandoned by the termites and sincerely thank the termites for this gift. This soil is a living energy, auspicious, pure and is used for several pujas. It has the highest capacity to absorb mantra etc recited over it and has the highest ability to reflect their power back to you. It is a solid stable energy and the results of this puja will give similarly solid results which will act as a foundation for several auspicious things in life.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

The most common use of this soil is in making a Parthiv Shivlingam for pujas. As the lingam is created using soil, Pruthvi, it is called Parthiv. Shiv pujas performed on such a lingam made of generate very high levels of power. Try to perform such a puja on every monthly Shivratri or at least the Mahashivratri night or on the Mondays of Shravan month. The best time to perform such pujas is the 4th prahar of the night.

This soil is also to create a moorti of the Naag on Naag Panchami day for pujas. Also use this soil to create a moorti of Hartalika Devi for her pujas on Bhadrapad Shukla Trutiya. Or to create a moorti of the Devi for the Mangala Gauri pujas on the Tuesdays of Shravan month. This soil is the ideal material to create Ganapati moortis for Bhadrapad Shukla Chaturthi. During Diwali, some people do pujas of Devi Laxmi moorti created out of soil.

In case you do any of these pujas do use the termitoria soil to make the moortis, you will feel the difference immediately. Use turmeric, vermillion, saffron and bhasma to add color to the moorti. Unfortunately we have switched to Plaster of Paris for making such moortis eg Ganapati Puja moortis are all made with this non-living chemical material. It has no power to absorb the mantra pujas being done on it and no ability to reflect it back to the devotees. Avoid using this material in your moortis for pujas. They are very beautiful are of little use in the energy sense.

After doing pujas this moorti or the lingam made of termitaria soil is put in flowing water, ie its actual Visarjan, is done. This ensures that the residual energy of the mantra is released into the water. Water is the repository, ie the collective memory of everything that gets deposited into it. So when such a Parthiv moorti is deposited into water, its auspiciousness, the power of the mantra recited on it and the pure intentions of the devotees all merge into the waters of that area, increasing the overall auspiciousness of that water and eventually the land. We eat food produced from this land and drink water from these water bodies. Returning the energy back to the soil and water in gratitude is inbuilt in our way of life.

And since we are on the subject of insects and the purity of their homes, one Guru once told me why we put out sugar for black ants. It is not only as a gesture of gratitude but wherever there are black ants, Sakshat Dharma is present in that place. Black ants are the embodiment of Dharma. You can test this. If you live in an area where people live according to Dharma you will find these small sized black ant-hills scattered around the place. And in localities where people have adopted Adharma as their way of life, there will be no black ant hills. So here is one more practice which you can adopt if you feel like it, putting out some sugar for black ants once in a while.

In fact the Naag panchami puja is supposed to be done on site, ie at such a black ant hill or the termitaria. You are supposed to go to the wild / forest areas to perform these mantra for the Naag.

There are no superstitions in Sanatan Dharma, just a heightened awareness of energy dynamics and the intentions powering us all. This is why this is called the Eternal Foundation and everyone must try to stick to it as much as possible.

    Namaste mam,
Thank you for today’s post, I can co-relate about 16 somavaar vrat and the pure soil.
I liked “Talk to your stuff to increase their energy” post and felt that all my stuff are beautiful. I liked the thing you shared about your mother and fullmoon practice, it rings a bell, and anything you say on fullmoon, fascinates me.
The post on ” use the moon’s energy” asks me to adopt few practices, I will make use of it.
The post “Chakshushi Mantra and health of your Eyes”, I need an advice mam, can I recite the mantra during my period’s time?

        Namaste mam,
I agree , first 2 days are intense. I cook for my family and do some house cleaning too, as I have to. What should I do when I cook or clean house? I don’t touch tulsi. I can’t entrust those work to anybody at home, due to personal reasons.
I will consider your post , to not do energy related work and visits too.

    Dearest Tejaswini,

I need some guidance please. I think my 5th lord Is damaged (in 8th house with 9th,10th and 4th house lords ) in ketu nakshatra. No planets in 5th house either other than mars opposite in it in the 11th. None of my meditation seems to bare any fruit. I have tried energy work for myself and feel nothing. Tried to see auras , still nothing . Been working at this for a while now. What can I do ?

I’m starting to feel maybe I’m not meant to access any of this information in this life ? Can you give any guidance please? I’m a bit desperate. I just want to learn self healing.

      Hi there
first relax, if you get so stressed out how can things work out.
and these are the most natural things.

5th lord in 8th is conducive to the occult. in either of their dasha periods things will change.

self healing is as simple as sitting in Dhyan, doing your Gayatri or any of the tiny things i have written about. its not something fancy.
every human has the ability to self heal. only difference is that some are aware of it and some are not.

if you want you can learn reiki from a reliable teacher if you have any around you.

but keep doing your practice whatever you have chosen, things build up.

        Namaste Madam,
Thanks for this reply as I had a question very similar to this, reading your reply gave me hope. Reading so many of your posts have lightened as well as enlightened me. How can I ever thank you for this Madam? So many times I have been moved by these posts, and I feel lighter after my tears come out. Thank you a million times.

My situation is that I have a weak 5th house (lowest ashtakavarga score of all), and I have read the importance of a strong Dharma Trikon again thanks to your posts. the other two houses (9th and 1st) have more than 28 points.

I dont have words to express my gratitude.

        Sinceremost namaskars,

    Dearest Tejaswiniji,

Thanks very much for this super post and that too on World Soil Day🙏🏻♥️ Wow♥️ My previous house had termitaria soil and ant hills. I used to not like red ants much. But black ants fascinated me as a child and even now I will take care not to step on them while walking. I don’t know why I behaved this way. I didn’t know the significance till I read your post.

My family friend makes a small Ganpati idol with Turmeric powder and glue and does pooja/visarjan every year during Ganesh Chathurti. After reading this post, I realise her pooja/ visarjan must carry so much positive energy. I wish I knew about Termitaria soil earlier!

I apologize for asking this question which is based on our Q&A in your previous post. I wanted to reply yesterday but could not and you have closed the comments section. My query was about spirits having attachments – I had given two examples also and you had so kindly replied to my question. I completely agree with you to not get involved with spirits, I myself have always preferred to stay away from spirits and avoid haunted places as such. However, I have a further query – does tarpan done once a year (in a temple) on their death anniversary (Nakshatra date, not English date) help benefit such a spirit (with attachment) ? Or does the attachment steal the energy of the tarpan from the spirit?

    Thanks a lot🙏🏻

    Lots of love and gratitude

      Hi there
Its not ur ancestor so leave it.
The descendants doing tarpan are doing their karmic duty so its good fr them at least.
If he died coz attached entity. It drained him while alive. it was not redressed while in the martyalok do you think it will b redressed now tht its in the pitrlok or wherever it is? Do u think the entity will refuse a free meal? Its a fruit of his karma. He stayed in a haunted loc despite being warned against it. The descendants will have to approach someone really knowledgeable and capable to address this. Rare people left who can do this.

This is such a magnificent article , please do share more such vidya where we can connect back to our natural roots of flora fauna and sacred geography and energise ourselves. Reading this article was so energising , the puja done with this soil would be at an entirely different level. Something around holy trees , plants , roots, Devi devtas in plants etc will be nice to read with your profound knowledge.

      Hi there
Feed black ants daily then. A small soon of sugar is enough. It is a strong connect in itself.

    Namaste Respected Madam,

Thank you for this wonderful post and showing the real meaning of termite hill soil. Our family has a tradition of going to such hills around in our town on certain days to pray to the Naags there. Very popular where I used to live.

On another note I don’t know why I’m coming across things like 12-12 energy portal, merkabah etc etc. After reading about them it feels a lot of Sanatan dharma concepts like dwadashant in the “12-12” portal and Merkaba feels like our shat kona yantra. So much overlap in ancient cultures.

      Hi there
Anyone who talks about chakra kundalini nadi pran etc or divination, past life, astrology etc in any way is essentially following Sanatan Dharma. But the tragedy is tht they wont acknowledge it nor feel grateful to Dharma. So in the final tally it’s negative karma fr them.
The religions do not have these things as they believe in yolo.

Astrologically 5th house is unable to support with studies and 9th house with the luck.
on a more pragmatic level, you studied hard but maybe could not anticipate the most likely questions

Madam Does Manasa devi any way related to kaalasarpa dosha ?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
she is a daughter of Kashyap rishi and his wife Kadru. so she is technically a Naag.
she is worshipped more in the north and the east.
you can invoke her in the Nagpanchami pujas if you want or for reducing the intensity of kaal sarpa related troubles. She is a Naag so can help.

    Dear ma’am,

We had got termites in our backyard with the new grass carpet and I thought those are the pests which need to be killed else they ll come inside our home and might infest on wood and furniture.

I got pest control done, with guilt since I didn’t know what else to be done. How bad karma is this and what can I do about it.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
thts why people should not construct houses near such forests or in your case be careful with the building materials.
and if you have a pest related issue you have to deal with it.
do pujas of your kuldevata and request forgiveness. put some sugar out for black ants once in a while.

Hello mam, thank you for sharing this knowledge.

There are lot of red ants with eggs outside my house and i can see many ant nests which makes soil very loose and some look clay like how termites do. Is this sand equally considered good?

Also mam can you please share how women can do basic shiv ling worship at home. Like how frequently we need to do abhishek. I was recently drawn to buy a parad shivlinga.

I wanted to know how does sade sati affect kids?
My child is undergoing the sade sati . What can I do for my kid.
Any jaap Or puja Or a daily thing that I can do on behalf of?

    Many thanks

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
less than 14yrs, not much of an effect, parents energy shields the child.
do your regular pujas and stuff.
on saturdays encourage the child to recite any Maruti stotra, in any language of your choice. or you can recite it with him/her.
go to the temple once in a while and put sesame oil on Shanidev.
also go a bit easy on your child. ensure tht he /she gets the necessary nurture, nourishment, parental love etc.
