Curses or Blessings are energy

Last Updated on December 1, 2021 by astrologerbydefault

Curses or blessings are an energy charged with intention. In case the intention is auspicious then it would be a blessing and obviously an intention linked to an unfavourable result would be a curse.

Curses शाप are possible in the current age. A curse is an imprecation, malediction, constraint, prohibition, restriction or a ban. An intention designed to cause negativity, suffering or harm to the recipient. And at low levels, this happens a lot. Eg your maid mentally curses you because you made her do extra work without pay, or you swear at that taxi driver who overcharged you. These low level curses are a part of the daily grind, at max they will make you feel bad briefly but will not cause much/ lasting harm.

Blessings ie Ashirwad आशीर्वाद are also possible. A very basic eg, you feel grateful to your spouse for something he does for you and this warmth in your heart is also a blessing, a positive energy which goes to him from you. Or your parents and elders give you blessings when you touch their feet, chunks of positive energy. These benedictions add to the generic shell of positive energy surrounding you.

7e0a1ddb0c01080c0fbff7609af3ac25

But then there are the high powered curses which do cause genuine harm. Here are a few examples,

Curses powered by mantra siddhi and hurt emotions – Someone who has been living a very Satvik life, doing daily pujas and Sadhana, following the directions of the Guru, a high level spiritual aspirant.

  • Such a yogi level person in rare circumstances can still lose his temper. If he lashes out and curses someone in a fit of rage, then what he has said will happen to that person. His spiritual merit / punya powers this curse and causes harm to the recipient. His own merit also gets reduced a bit by this outburst.
  • Another possibility is that this aspirant can, in rare circumstances, feel deeply hurt by someone else’s behaviour. And though he consciously may not say or do anything, the pain gets transformed into a curse for the other. This energy causes great harm to the recipient and also drains the spiritual merit of the aspirant. eg. I know such a person who cursed her own daughter in a fit of intense emotional pain and she suffered for years. Obviously the aspirant too suffered.
  • So it is essential that a genuine aspirant first learn to control his own mind, reduce his sense of personal self-ego, only then increase the intensity of his sadhana and his energy levels.
  • And if you are a regular person, then make it a point to avoid needlessly angering or hurting such high level aspirants. If you cannot respect them, keep away from them.

Curses powered by mantra siddhi and desire for power – There are aspirants who perform anushthans ie targeted rituals with intention for mantra siddhi and eventually achieve it. But their objective is not self-realization, rather a desire for material power and fame by using the power of this mantra.

  • Generally these practitioners do pujas for others for them to achieve their goals. They charge their clients money. If these people intend maledictions, they consciously channelise the power of their mantra energy they have gained to amplify the negative intentions. These intentions may be unethical or immoral but this does not matter to this practitioner as he is chasing money. These pujas damage the client, the recipient and also the practitioner.
  • Astrologers who give scary predictions on purpose to create repeat clients fall in this category. When an astrologer reads someone’s chart, he is using the power of his own 5th house and the client’s 9th house to do so, ie this is a function of the astrologer’s Mantrasiddhi and the client’s Purvapunya. But rather than reinforcing the client’s 9th house he is using the power of his 5th house to damage it. This causes suffering to the client and the practitioner both.
  • Such type of practitioners often die bad deaths.

Curses powered by rituals which involve killing birds/animals – The lowest level of practitioners are those kill living beings and use the energy released by their physical death to power intentions of causing harm. People approach these ‘tantriks’ and pay them to get this sort of work done. Unfortunately these examples are extremely common and cause damage to the recipient, the practitioner and the people who get this ritual done. (If you are a practising astrologer, never read charts of people who do these things.) In Sanatan Dharma, you cannot kill another being and use its death energy like this, it is the worst karma possible. The only Bali permissible in Dharma is breaking a coconut with intention. And people do this too! Power their curses by breaking coconuts with negative intentions. One tip is to never eat ‘prasadam’, especially broken coconut, offered to you by people whom you do not trust.

(A curse from a Satguru. I have seen only one example of this in my life. Needless to say, this will be the most inauspicious thing possible, from which there will be no escape.)

Then are the curses from your past lives carried on this life, which can be seen in the horoscope, eg I wrote on the Sarpashapa. And the curses from your past lives connected to your negative karma, eg if you mistreat your mother now, its possible that you will get the combination for a Matrushapa in your next life’s birth chart.

www

But even after someone creates a curse energy, it is not necessary that it will affect the target in the way he intends. Two houses, the 5th and 9th in the chart, protect in conscious and unconscious ways.

The 9th house is the house of Purvapunya. So curses will not affect much if,

  • If you have a strong 9th house at birth. Then this protection will be for a life time, there is a higher ability to passively resist negativity. Your own merits, punya from your past lives work as a shield around you all the time. But remember that with every attack you resist, this merit gets used up bit by bit.
  • You are undergoing a favourable dasha period or a significant transit of a strongly placed planet. Especially if this planet is connected to the 9th house, (ie owns it, in it, aspects it, or is conjunct the 9th owner or aspects him), then your ‘timely luck’ factor is active. Here, the overall time is favourable for you so even if the energy of the malediction touches you, it will not do much harm. At max it might manifest as some minor health issue like nausea or typical dreams etc. Or you will be given sufficient warning in time so that you can do something about it. And it is quite possible that the negativity recoils back to the person who sent it to you in the first place.
  • If you have an extraordinarily strong D9 navamsha chart.

The 5th house is Mantrasiddhi. The conscious efforts you make to enhance your own energy. So, again the curses will have limited effect on you if,

  • you are doing your own spiritual practice regularly and have generated significant reserves of power, ie you are reinforcing your own 5th house continually with your own actions. In this case you will simply absorb whatever it was, ie burn it by your energy, or briefly suffer something minor or send it back. Doing this also consumes your energy but as you do your regular practice you continue to replenish yourself.

The solution for all this cursing stuff is the same, increase the power of the 5th house by your own actions, ie do your mantra pujas. Or trigger the power of your own 9th house by doing ritualistic pujas, going to pilgrimages, doing tarpan for your ancestors and acting as per your Guru. Both these houses feed energy directly into the personality, the 1st house. This is the power of the Dharma trikon. You cannot be really harmed by someone with a energy level lower than yours. Or if you have more power than the stuff which was sent against you. This is the function of the Dharma trikon as a whole.

www

Next, the blessings, ie Ashirwad. Only someone who has significant energy reserves can give blessings. As in cursing, giving blessings also depletes the energy reserve. These are chunks of energy which move from you to the recipient.

  • A real Satguru has enormous power, ie he is the Advaita itself. But he will never ever give ‘direct blessings’, ie he will never say specific things like, ‘you will get married soon’ etc. He will use generic words like Ashirwad, Kalyan, Shubh, Sukh, Shanti, Prasanna etc, that too rarely. These words give the recipient a chunk of auspicious energy. What is to be done with the energy is the decision of the recipient. He will never interfere in the disciple’s free will, his choice of actions. One extreme example with my Guru, someone was asking him for clear cut directions for changing his job. He finally said ‘do whatever you want but do not forget why you are doing it’, he did not give him a clear yes/ no answer that he was insisting on.
  • Genuine Yogis may give specific blessings or give specific guidance etc, again in rare circumstances. But these words also drain them of their own merit/ punya. In all my interactions with such higher-level Sadhaks, I have never seen this happening. In fact some of the Yogis I met, would not let others even touch their feet. Genuine Yogis also use generic words for giving their rare blessings.
  • So be careful if someone claims to be a Guru or Yogi and gives you directions regarding your life ie the business, job, marriage etc part. Or gives specific blessings for material gains. To gauge the genuineness of this person always evaluate the type of ‘blessings’ that they give to their disciples.

Again, not everyone can receive such blessings from Yogis or the Satguru. The thing is that when a Satguru uses a word like ‘Ashirwad’, the quantum of energy that he sends is extraordinarily high. The recipient needs to have an equally high capacity of absorbing and assimilating it. And the mental stability to use it in a sensible way. So again only if you have a strong 9th house and overall Dharma trikon will these sort of blessing energy be give to you.

www.psychologicallyastrology.com

So in life, do not feel scared of random people cursing you, most of them do not have that reserve of power to do so. And do not get swayed by random people blessing you, not many have the capacity to do so. Do your own regular spiritual practice, keep reinforcing your own energy, that is always the best option.

Thank you so much for this blog, I wanted to know more on this topic and here, it is. I have one query – on a few occasions, I saw someone doing noble deed and spontaneously my heart wished ‘God Bless you’ or ‘Be always Happy’ . Or on other instances, I suddenly got thoughts of a person/s who are not alive – and spontaneous wish – God give him/ them peace. Here these were not thought through actions but spontaneous in nature. Is it ok ?

Thank you for this article on a topic misunderstood and misinterpreted more often than not.
    Certain things resonated with me.
I know of a person who was going to a ‘babaji ‘ offering animal sacrifices in a graveyard to cause me harm. ( this person continued doing it for ten years). It resulted in several minor illnesses, a minor surgery( am normally of sound health) things having sudden obstacles. If and when the person (a relative) would come to meet me would offer me some flower and say it’s from pooja, keep it with you at all times and invariably things would complicate for me.
I realized then to totally avoid the person.
I upped my spiritual practice, and dhyaan mantra and pooja.
Everything stopped, and it started affecting the person who was doing it. That person lost their spouse, estranged from children, and now currently suffering from terminal illness.
If only people realized what they were getting into before being overcome by greed and hate.
I think post the incident it only made me more aware and more careful. And also more conscious of my 5 th and 9 th house.

Also maam, when I try to read extremely negative people chart in the past, I used to get goosebumps, my skin would go cold, so I stopped attempting to read such charts and stopped trying to figure out the evil motivation. Never knew till then so much energy can be experienced via negative chart reading by an amateur.

    Namaste Tejaswini ji,
Thankyou for another beautiful blog. Much gratitude 🙏🙏🙏.
I have on question nagging me and needed some light. Mam learning astrology opens new doors to learning and seeing life in a new way. Mam there are a few ppl around me in family and frinds who are stuck in a constant cycle of pain simultaneously with material prosperity. Now they have no idea that these painful incidents getting trigerred needed some time and attention.like one friend her 3yr old som consumed drain cleaning acid on 17 sept. Was in ICU and went through horrendous life and death situation. Such things keep happening to kids and they r in hospital. What karma is it in there lufe where it doesnt allow them to seek see there life situation and try to reslove this pain by either contacting an astrologer or think along these lines. Her own life is quiet painful.
Another family member where it now that i have started to notice patterns the mother of the child either dies or leaves it has been happening from 3 generations that i know of.
Like pain and trauma is there but the guidance to start balancing karma is not there. It really pains me to see how people go abt there entire life without paying attention to solving things at such deeper levels. Its like putting band aid on a wound constantly but never try and heal it from.the root.
I understand its the 9th house but this house is giving material bliss to be ao lost that you dont see outside it and keep going in the cycle of such torture.
I guess whilst typing this i have uncovered the answer to my question and also example of being in maya and be so blinded that one cant see beyond it. But would love a some light from you.

Totally unrelated but is it normal that this Rahu transit causing anxiety and suddenly loosing path. I am in a uncomfortable haze so disinterested almost feeling depressed. Rahu is in 12th house in Magha nakshatra and currently undergoing ketu dasha (in satbisha) will be starting rahu antardsha next month end of october.

And i do not use rahu as a karak.

Technically karakas and jaimini too are a part of parashari. But best study it as a separate system. To study jaimini u have to keep the parashari concepts aside.

    Hello Tejaswini ji,

Very fascinating post. I wanted to ask a question unrelated to this. Recently, I was reading your post about the evolution of soul and became very curious. I wanted to ask if the following combinations make the soul highly evolved or is it a regular horoscope:

    1) Asc Lord Jupiter (R) conjuncts ketu in bhav chalit(sripathy).
    2) Jupiter aspects moon in D1 and D9 with 9th and 5th drishti, moon vargottama in scoprio.
    3) Jupiter Sun conjunction in D9, sun in mooltrikon in D1.
    4) All planets except sun and moon between rahu ketu axis (Sun conjunct rahu but not forming kal sarpa).
    5) Vosi yog, kemadruma yog, hamsa yoga, 4 vipareet raj yoga, shrapit yog(D9), Sun moon mutual kendra.
    6) 5 planets in moksha trikon, 6 planets in dark half.
    7) 8th house and 12 house parivartan yog, rahu ketu 5/11 axis in d9 and 9/3 in D1.

I hope this would not constitute a consultation. If this is an evolved soul what advice would you give to the native.

    Thank You.

    Hi Mam

    I have some queries:

    – For knowing if person has a natural skill to learn metaphysics or occult or mantras which house & planet is more significant? 5th house or 8th house ? Saturn or Jupiter or Rahu?

    – If Jupiter is in Libra or Tauras. Does it mean that person acquires knowledge in pursuing material things?

    – How can one have both materialistic and spiritual knowledge at the same time? it’s tough with few exceptions(like spiritual Gurus) not to have financial aspects because everything today has its value-driven by money.

    Regards,

Wrote several posts on the occult.
      5th is mantrasuddhi
8th is the secret types of sadhana.
Fr occult both have to b strong

No necessarily, know someone with jupiter in libra 2nd house, a very powerful one, has a reasonable amount of money but huge spiritual treasures.

      Why difficult? Its not.
Things of this material universe do not attract. They seem paper thin.
Fr spiritually evolved people, there is always sufficient to live in a reasonably good manner.
Fr Yogis material stuff is immaterial.
Fr Satguru levels all this does not really exist

Many astrologers openly told me that both me and my husband’s chart is not favorable for having kids..I mean is that ok mam? Like what should I do then? Accept and live or can such things be changed by proper remedies..I was flabbergasted and also in pain.. kindly throw some light mam.
They also said no to adoption mam which is even more painful. Kindly help mam.

      Hi there
you can alwys go fr a second opinion with a different astrologer.

i have written on artificial reproductive technologies and adoption.
i do not see any issues in either of these if backed up with the pujas which intend children.

      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/01/11/assisted-reproductive-technology-and-adoptions/

but generally denial of children can be addressed by
      pujas of your kul-devata
      tarpan to the ancestors
especially pujas of Bal-Krishna and Santaan Laxmi
donating sweets to children in orphanages also is a good karma if you afford it.

    Dearest Tejaswiniji,

Many thanks for this post🙏🏻♥️ I had been seeking this info in the last two years, but left it because I was guided to something else. I am very grateful to you and Parabrahma for this info🙏🏻 A family member has been successfully doing black magic on me for many years to block my marriage. And in last few years has been doing black magic on me (thru tantrik again) every month to cause health problems. This is besides the malicious thoughts directed at me. Had several upsetting incidents, including in dreams. It’s not affecting me ever since I started my spiritual practice & poojas. I always ‘know’ when the black magic is done. But it doesn’t scare me anymore. I have avoided all contact and communication with this person since last few years. As you rightly pointed out in your post, the Mahadasha I am currently going thru (6th house planet) contributed to my problems.

I have this family member’s horoscope – although this person lied about age, I intuitively guessed the year & time and matched the horoscope with that person’s experiences. I did it partly for learning purpose and partly to gauge this person’s strengths and weaknesses….for my protection. I am learning astrology for my own knowledge and helping myself. I have no interest in doing readings for anybody in future. Will it harm me if I analyze this person’s chart? Should I stop analyzing this person’s chart?

    Lots of love and gratitude

The example about the mother and daughter is tragic. Its typical for family members to get upset with each other and say ( or even feel!) things but I suppose this is a reminder to all that we must be careful about our actions and thoughts.

Is there something that distinguishes which curses play out in this life vs being carried over to the next life? I was just thinking if one is cursed in *this* life and has a strong 5th/9th house but the curse is materialized in the next life where the chart is not strong or vice versa, how does that work?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
its an event, both have to go through its after-effects. hopefully it will be a learning lesson for both in their futures.
Basically here the young woman wanted to marry a young man of her choice, a good person. the father approved, but the mother refused to give her approval. typical Indian parent thing, but with consequences as she let her spiritual thing get mixed with the material desire of controlling her daughter’s life.

does not happen like tht, if you are doing your pujas now, that shield will absorb the curse. but if its too strong then it may be carried on to the next life.

like this example, the daughter suffered, also i advised her to do some pujas, she and her husband did those. its over in this life.

I am guilty of being super angry and lashing out when I felt a person is doing wrong and not listening or in some way taking advantage of situation. I try to tolerate a lot in beginning and make rules.

I am guilty of once cursing my daughter’s classmate (cursed that she won’t finish climbing in that journey that she ll show off later ) because of whom my daughter was had extreme mental trauma for a yr.

I am afraid of myself but don’t have necessary skill to manage my anger especially in lashing out situations, where it’s ok for regular people to shout but not allowed for me. I am not sure if I am high energy anymore but now my anger over imperfections of others bothers me and the same time I can’t accept those behavior.

The only solution I see not be attached to anyone or anything in life which is not healthy for regular householders as then things won’t ever be done and without attachment it’s difficult to raise kids.

Why one should not read people (involved in doing negative things) chart? How the connection at energy level takes place by reading a chart? It is required for a beginner to observe different charts, then what care one should take?

At the same time it also means not to show our chart to any astrologer. I mean generally people do background search before consulting but common man wouldn’t come to know about such things.

Also, are there any instance when one should not read his own chart?

I’m wondering why you haven’t mentioned Baala shapam (curse of a child).

This article reminded me of a forecast by a good friend and astrologer. He said my abusive ex husband has gathered a lot of Baala shapam. Each time my children are hurt mentally, it would fall upon him as a curse.

This friend and my grandmother have told me that one should never hurt a child, physically, mentally and emotionally. Children are considered divine.

I had completely forgotten about it till I read your article. Maybe we just moved on in our lives.

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
BPHS does not mention curse from a child. i dont think children are capable of cursing as they have no ego.
the effect of these curses from father, mother, ancestral spirits etc is mostly the denial of children, or having sickly or deformed children etc. curses mostly affect the next generation, ie primarily the 5th house. and the overall Dharma trikon.

but yes, any intentional harm done to a child, any child not just your own, this includes aborting a foetus, abandoning a child, mistreating a child etc, will be seen as the the curses of the Naag in the next lives charts.

    Hello maam,
was going through some charts collected by my late grandfather. The natives are in their fifties and sixties now.
About 7 of them show kemdrum yog in chart. Going by the notings and questions asked 6 of them experienced reversals after entering their forties.
Only one of them was having reversals quite frequently.
6 of them did very well compared to their peers till their early forties, then post reversal, were never able to get back past glory…
But their youth uptil early forties marked with lot of success.
Also since early rise of luck then experiencing reversal, lot of issues connected to border line depression, temper issues, feeling of isolation ego tussels etc
    Please guide on observations.

      Hi there
      yes, good,
these people are single minded about their own things, so even one critical mistake can cost dearly.
underlying sense of insecurity, loneliness etc
also check for the transits and dashas if you can. see what patterns they make.

        Hi Tejaswiniji / Shala

I have Kemadruma in my birth chart. I am not sure if economical fall alone constitutes reversal. But yes, I have quit my corporate career, for a more service oriented career, in my late thirties, in the back drop of Saturn MD/AD + Sade saati, that started since last year.

My Jupiter Dasha before the Saturn was literally a roller coster ride :). Thankfully, and also because of this blog, I am able to look back , connect the dots and smile about it in retrospect.

But surprisingly, this Saturn Dasha/ transit, I am feeling much more grounded, and with more still mind than before. Is it because of Saturn being Yogakarak ( Taurus ascendant + 6th house Saturn ). It’s also helping me with the active and regular pursuit of the sadhana, instead of pretty sporadic phases in the past. I can literally see the workings of mind, and atleast was able to remove some subconscious thoughts via sadhana, that used to bother me ( even in dreams ). Still a long way to go, but taking baby steps, with the help of this blog.

I don’t know how the economic situation will pan out, but am really not worried ( thanks to Ketu in 7th 😀 ). So overall I am in much peaceful and confident zone.

Thanks again, it’s lovely and enlightening to see the interaction between a student and the master , Shala/Tejaswiniji.

please do not call me a “master” i am most definitely not.
we all are students of Jyotish,
if anyone, Rishi Parashar Rishi Jamini etc are the masters, Gurus for all of us.

we all learn through our own life experiences using whatever tools are given to us, some use Jyotish, some use medicine, some use physics maths, whatever helps us make sense of our own journey.
        we are all students.

That’s interesting. I have read portions of the BPHS and always assumed that the curse of the serpents/naag in one’s chart was due to killing a snake, I never knew it could be from mistreating a child. I think some also say that curse of the naag could also be from the ancestors but as there is a separate section in that chapter for curses from the father/forefathers that’s probably incorrect?

Are there other things as well that lead to curse of the naags in future lives?

‘Naag’ has several meanings, the beings who live in the Himalay, also snake, also your DNA, also ur ancestors and also descendants,
children are the collective future of society, you cannot hurt them and expect to remain unscathed.

I have been reading your blogs for a while now. I am pleasantly surprised by your take on things very analytical and offers an insight into the values of sanatan dharma through the lens of jyotish and vice-versa.

I would be very delighted to read your perspectives on abilities of a person to learn and reach enlightenment through Indian classical arts like Sangeet shastra or natya shastra or poetry.

What would a say person can be MS Amma, Saint Thyagaraj or kalidas from their horoscope.

Can you please make a post on this topic?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      HI there
you reach the extreme end of anything and you will reach yourself, wrote it in some post.
eg Kunti experienced the extreme of sadness, and she found the Self, Arjun was the extreme warrior, Sabhyasachi, he found the Self, a real warrior/soldier at the field, even today, hands himself to the Devi Kali who is dancing on the field, and acts decisively, the dedication to Swa-Dharma is complete, if he dies he gets Veer Gati.
any emotion, any Shastra, Sangeet Shastra, Natya Shastra, Nrutya Shastra, they are all shastra, its not a “fun time” mindless entertainment like the modern dances of today, any Vidya, if experienced in the extreme, ie you transcend it, you reach the self.
the mudraas that are used in Bharatnatyam are the same as we use in pujas etc. they channelise pran.
      similarly Raga channelise pran.
forget this, even if someone draws the Shri yantra a few thousand times i think he will get liberated, its a complex geometry cannot be drwan so easily.
every Shastra etc encompasses the full range of emotions, situations etc available, you learn it all, experience it all, its done.

An elegant explanation indeed! It reminded me the concept of Bhav that the

do think, is ‘ignorance’ a Shastra, a Vidya, a Rasa, a Vivek, a Vairagya or a state of awareness, or an intelligence where one loses his sense of individual self, or is it a consciousness, or a state of pure emotion?

Mam I see ignorance in this case seams to be losing the individuality and being one with the activity or otherwise a state of pure emotion.

Would this qualify for realising self through this state?

    Namaste mam,
In one of your post I read that seperating from relationship adds to significant karma. Divorce is one such thing. But if the spouse is unethical, and even after talking to them, they can’t be changed, then living with them is more painful and it destroys our energy. How to deal with divorce and karma. Please guide

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
there was a huge discussion on this spanning several comments

      1. get married after checking charts so this problem does not arise in the first place
      2. after marriage do all necessary pujas of kul devata and household deities, women shud recite shri sukta once a day for a lifetime, that will ensure that Devi Laxmi stays in the home. husband to recite gayatri mantra or as an alternative ‘om namo bhagvate vasudevaya’ , do Satyanarayan pujas once in a while, or make sure that you follow our festival schedule and do the pujas etc on these important days. never forget that you are Dharmapati and Dharmapatni, ie Dharma has to be followed in Gruhastashram.
      3. if you have not done these above things then peace of mind is most important so act as per your conscience. but keep doing the mantra else this lesson may be repeated in the next life. again do this if you have faith in the power of Devi Shri.

find a proper teacher and do as per his direction.

    Namaste Ma’am 🙏

Suppose something related to a particular house is predicted, how should we narrow down the results to a particular signification of that house? For eg, i’ve heard an astrologer suggest a remedy for 7th house that if suppose there is a seperation yog predicted, if the person writes a notary of seperation with anyone of their business partners then this yog wouldn’t show its effect on the marital life – according to what he says there’s a bifurcation and only one of the significations is selected.
Is that true or whatever is predicted applies to all the things that are signified by the 7th house?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
yes you can divert the energy, they work
but consult a sensible astrologer before doing such actions.

eg for couples with potential separation issues, i suggest that they voluntarily ‘separate’ for a few days once in a while, like go for business trips, or go to the native village etc,

    Dear Tejaswini Ma’m,

In all ancient civilizations across the world – Sumer, Aztec, Maya, Olmec, Persian, there are carvings of Naga. Sometimes a figure is depicted with nagas in both hands, or nagamani on the head. Does it have to do something with what you explained – Naga as past life energy?

Also, I have a query about curse. In our stotras there is invariable mention made in the end to god “to destroy reciter’s enemies, or harm them in some way”. In a way is it not a curse?

Another question is related to Alakshmi. Sorry I am asking a lot of queries in one post. But these were coming to my mind as I keep on reading the older posts, and queries are closed there. Alakshmi or some ugra Devis are mentioned as forces that should take “away” our traumas or troubled, out of the house.

But the same force of Goddess is also destroyer of diseases, poverty, enemies. If she is a demon fighting a demon for the good of us, why should we not love and make her part of our house and heart? In the end we also have some demonic traits in us which we fight to remove from our nature? If we look at it like this, and pray for removal of obstacles and for justice and not with destructive intent, should the Alakshmis also not get the regular sthan in our poojas?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
all these civilisations followed Sanatan Dharma
wherever you see deities with multiple arms those people were are all followers of Sanatan Dharma.

you are channelising the force of tht specific stotra to destroy your enemies in the generic. its not a curse.
but if u do it for a single person by name it will be.

Digesting such Ugra energies is not suitable fr everyone’s mind. If you want to do pujas of these sort of Devis you can, but when you worship such energies, you are actually tuning your own energy with this Ray from the Source. Anything not compatible with this Ray is removed only then you resonate with this Ray. Thus you reach the Source.
if someone worships Devi Laxmi he will become Sakshat Devi Laxmi, resonating with her
if someone worships Devi Alaxmi he will become Sakshat Devi Alaxmi, resonating with her
choice as always is yours alone as well as the repercussions .

There is one question always haunts me, how people who evil business in pharma earn so much money and get big awards? Why doesnt any negative karma hit them? They are so successful in running business despite of big lies and cheating so openly?. I always wonder whether this concept of karma is really true?

    1. astrologerbydefault Avatar

      Hi there
you buy fresh veggies enough for a week, store them in your fridge and eat them, finish them
now if you do not go out to buy more you will go hungry in the future.

Similarly these people had put aside significant positive karma in their past lives, they are eating from the fridge.
if they do not do sadhana, ie do not accumulate positive karma now, they will go hungry in their next lives.
in addition if they are doing negative karma, the surplus positive karma will be exhausted even faster.
most of these people die horrible deaths. then on to Yam-lok. The Garud puran is not a story designed to scare people, it does happen like that.

if you do not want to believe in Karma its your wish,
but this does not change the fact that the Law of Karma is the only Law of this Creation.
Bhagwan Yam and his brother Bhagwan Shani, both are the sons of Surya Dev with his wives Dawn Devi Sanjana and Dusk Devi Chhaya,
ie the self-ego itself administers this Law, through Intelligence, in the Martya lok and in the Pitru Lok both,

    Pranaam Madam,
I have no words left to say thanks again for the post and the reply. Sincere gratitude to you. If I have any regrets, it is that I did not choose this path earlier, and spent a lot of time blaming circumstances and others, I do wish I had come across this knowledge earlier. No words of thanks can really match the precious knowledge you share with us.

I usually try and not ask questions, because I see myself simply receiving and assimilating this knowledge. If I may nevertheless present a humble query below:

Madam , is ashtakavarga alone is sufficient to judge the strength of a house? Because, I feel confused as to how to determine the strength of the house, because some houses show low ashtakavarga scores but high bhav bala in a chart. Was a bit confused as to how to infer this. I apologize if I missed something or if the question is not correct.
    Sincere regards and best wishes,

    Dearest Tejaswiniji,

Your post reminded me of an incident and got me thinking. Some years ago I attended a workshop where they found out the root cause of an issue a person was facing. In one interesting case, there was a man with a bad case of psoriasis which did not heal despite numerous treatments over the years. In his family the elder male member who managed the ancestral home always passed away young. And whoever succeeded him in inheriting their ancestral home (usually the next brother) also died within a year or two. It used to be a joint family which collapsed by the 3rd generation when people moved to other states for jobs. In the workshop, a connection was made between this man’s Psoriasis & the early deaths of whoever happened to take care of the ancestral house. It was found that his grandfather had a property dispute with a woman who placed a curse on this family. 3 generations suffered from this curse and this man who attended the workshop was left with the house after his 2 brothers died shortly after inheriting & living in the house. He was afraid to inherit/live in his ancestral home for fear of dying. It also transpired in the workshop that his deceased grandmother was a restless spirit (possibly due to the curse) and was sending negative vibes to the family.

In the workshop this man was told to do tarpan for his grandmother and also do restitution to the family of the woman. The tarpan could be managed. But the woman & her family had left the place long ago and nobody knew where they were.

I was never in touch with this man. So I have no idea what happened to him after the workshop. Out of curiosity I want to know what is the best way to heal this type of generational curse?

    Lots of love and gratitude

    Maam,
There was a particular native ( not sure about extent of personal spiritual practice) but was known to be kind and helpful in general and used to volunteer at temples.
The spouse made the career entirely with the
natives money, then took off with co worker after slandering the natives name with lot of people.
Barely a couple of years post divorce, the ex spouse got embroiled in a controversy at work place, got fired apparently, died in drunken road rage accident. The co worker who was married to this person by now, died of cancer. And the special needs child they had is left with relatives.
It was one of the most bizzare cases where I don’t know whether it was instant karma or a curse.
