Rahu Ketu in the 4/10 axis

Rahu Ketu in the 4/10 axis

Last Updated on March 26, 2024 by astrologerbydefault

The 5 Tara graha, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are connected to the lower 5 chakras. Moon is at the Ajnya chakra and the Sun is the Sahasrara. Rahu and Ketu are the completely astral graha which put your internal geometry out of balance, they ‘churn’ your sense of self. These are the chhaya-graha. Chhaya छाया means that these two forces ‘blend’ or ‘shade’ your inherent energy, awareness and intelligence. They are responsible for the ‘play of consciousness’. Rahu and Ketu are forces who create reflections and shadows. Elusive illusions. (I have written several posts on Rahu Ketu, do use the index page if you wish to read.)

Rahu is the desire to experience all that you can. Ketu is disconnection and limitlessness. The engine which subtly drives the energy of your chart is Rahu. And Ketu is the guard cabin, the deepest learnings you have with you from your past lives experiences. They do not directly affect the material planes but act through the signs/ houses/ planets/ nakshatra they are associated with. So analyse these before you start deciphering Rahu Ketu.

If you have the following combinations in your chart then it is a Rahu or Ketu ‘heavy’ horoscope. More the patterns, more dense is the energy and that particular node becomes more important in your life. Check if they are conjunct important graha-s ie the ascendant lord, the Moon or the Sun. Or conjunct highly powerful planets in the chart, ie those with high Shad-bala or owners of the 5th 9th lords or Yogkarak planets. Or conjunct planets linked to the nakshatra of the lagna/ rising degree or the naksahtra of the Moon. Or conjunct or heavily influenced by Marak planets or by natural or functional malefics etc.

The 1st 4th 7th 10th are the Kendra houses, the foundations of the environment around you. They are the pillars which give the actual physical results. The 1st 5th 9th are the Kona houses, the foundation of your personality and the potential for its evolution. These are the houses which provide the energy. The 1st is both a Kendra and a Kona and the connecting link between the energy and the manifestation.

I have written about Rahu Ketu in the 5/11 axis, in the 11/5 axis, the 2/8 axis and 6/12 axis earlier.

Rahu Ketu in the 4 – 10 axis have to be analysed carefully as they impact the very foundations of your life in their shadowy manner.

The 4/10 axis is all about structure. The structure that you bring with you and the structure of your destiny. The 4th is the structure you are born into, the structure of your physical body, the psychological imprints you have with you, the spiritual orientation, the earliest lessons which you get as a small baby/ child. This is the nature, nurture, tradition, culture, house, residence, farms, lands, homelands, security, comforts and needs that you have. The 4th is the structure within you, the structure with which you began your current life with. The 10th is the structure without. Your destiny, the zenith of your this life’s achievements, the things you strive for. The structure of your surroundings, society, organisations etc that you are a part of. You are expected to conform to this structure and also help develop it further. Rules and regulations, the lawful work you are expected to perform. The structure you create and also impose on others subordinate to you is the 10th house.

The 4/10 axis is how your in-built structure gets actualised and expressed as the external structure of your destiny.

In the Bhavat Bhavam concept these two houses derive and feed energy from the 7th house which in turn derives and feeds energy to the 1st house. And also to the 1st 5th 9th Dharma trikon too via the common link of the 1st house. The 4/10 houses are thus closer to your own personality/ self. The 4th house is the psychological and spiritual base of your life. It was at the nadir at the instant of your birth, the connection you have with your deepest self, an umbilical cord. If this link is auspicious then you are going to be more secure in your this life.

The 4th is your sense of over-all well-being. Are you ‘comfortable in your own skin’? These 4th house forces, auspicious or traumatic, push/pull you towards your core. Then the 10th house is commonly interpreted as the profession but there is more to this house. This house was at the zenith when you were born, the mid-heaven. This house, sign and the planets occupying it were at the center of the skies when you were being born and their mission is take you to the highest visible position possible. The 10th house is the reason you are born, the purpose of your life. Thus 4/10 is the journey from your core to your destiny. It is a very sensitive axis and Rahu Ketu here can also give unpredictable and extreme results.

Rahu in the 4th and Ketu in the 10th house

Rahu in the 4th has some similarities with the Rahu-Moon conjunction, ie Shakti yog (post here). There is a strong attachment to the mother, mother figures, home traditions and culture. You desire to enjoy the comforts of stability, landed property, residence and vehicles. You want peace of mind, emotional security and desire ‘nourishment’. There is a need for love. You desire contentment.

But the karmic forces represented by Rahu are highly predominant in your immediate environment and cannot be avoided. So this need for affection may never be really satisfied. Your mother, siblings, household etc will behave in typical Rahu style, eg your parents may be outsiders in some way but still strongly settled where they live, ambitious, acquisitive, will buy land, houses etc. One advice is to not get involved in any property dealings with your immediate family members you might get cheated out of your own assets. And never cheat others in matters related to property. Your mother and her family can be of use to you in your life but whenever you take their help be aware that there may be hidden costs. So use them carefully. You like travelling but do so rarely, you are more comfortable at home and in familiar surroundings. You might like expensive/flashy cars.

Professions you might choose are, property dealing, farming, animal husbandry, working with children, junior school-teachers, builders, architects, interior decoration etc. There is a sense of aesthetics and an appreciation for life as a whole. If you can give this a outlet in your profession you will be satisfied. You are spiritual by nature, but will run behind the material. Try to find a spiritual anchor in life, this will keep you happy. You are capable of working hard, are persistent and have a deep insight into human nature. Guard against taking decisions based on the emotional context alone. Wealth will be adequate in life and you might be well-known for some typical things later in life.

If this Rahu cannot give auspicious results then expect severe trouble from the family, depression, a tendency to self-harm. Avoid getting into occult, black magic etc with the intention to harm others. Choose your friends and company wisely. Health might need care so do not ignore any symptoms, after middle age go for routine health check ups. Heart related issues are possible. Avoid sexual affairs and remain faithful to your spouse. (eg Saturn Rahu Shapit dosh)

Now on the other side is Ketu in the 10th house. This indicates that the father is generally not available. He may be busy, distant, dead, working overtime, parents may live separately etc. You might feel a disconnect with your father and father figures in your life. In your profession, generally job satisfaction is less. Accept this and do not chase much after material achievements. Avoid being over-ambitious. You are knowledgeable, intelligent, have original ideas and can be an asset in any organization. But Ketu will not allow your talents to be used so easily. You might not get along well with your boss, disagree with him, this might affect your promotion chances. Setbacks in the career are possible. You feel the hollowness in material pursuits and try to search for philosophy in the office, which is not practical. Try to express your ideas in an organised and understandable manner to make the most of them. You have flashes of creativity or might be psychic. Avoid over-thinking else you might not be able to produce anything solid.

In society, your behaviour can get a bit awkward. Socially you will be respected by some and utterly ignored by others. Confusion or psychological disturbance is possible as you cannot enjoy anything. You are aware of the superficiality of every situation you are placed in. You prefer remaining alone, detached. You do not have close friends or people who understand you so might feel lonely. Try to develop your sense of personal ethics as this will give your mind peace.

Ketu in the 4th and Rahu in the 10th house

Ketu in the 4th house can give neglect and indifference in your early life. Affection from the mother, heathy nutrition, a secure home may be denied. This may result in life-time or deep rooted psychological issues. A lot depends on the power of Ketu. If he is strong, ie in a good Nakshatra, sign, aspected by benefics and capable of giving auspicious results then you can turn these early experiences into sources of strength. You will be granted an incisive insight into the mysteries of the 4th house. On the outward levels it can grant material possessions and you also have the rare ability to use your subconscious in an active manner. Psychic powers are possible, but again in a weak horoscope this can manifest as mental instability. (Mental instability, psychological issues, insanity etc are all caused by an imbalance in the mutual coordination of the conscious and sub-conscious minds). If the birth Moon, ascendant sign/ lord are powerful then you can use Ketu’s gifts. The 4th house is the navel, the point of creation, your deepest hidden source can be accessible with a Ketu here. Ketu grants intelligence but emotionlessness. Prepare yourself as Ketu knows no boundaries and has no sense of fear or any other emotion. He is pure instinct. You might get dragged into more than you can handle on the psychic planes.

On the practical side, there might be ghosts/ hauntings in your residences. Your mother will not be supportive generally and especially in property related disputes. She may have psychic abilities. The father too is rather distant. Social relationships especially with the maternal family might be affected. Never buy joint assets with your family members, you might get cheated out of them. Emotional storms are common around you, but you will not be emotionally involved. Misunderstandings are possible. Most of these issues will be more psychological than material. You might feel inadequate in life and might burst out emotionally, intensely but temporarily. You might be more connected to your grandparents or live with them (Ketu is the oldest graha).

You might function as a regular person on the outside but inside you are disconnected from everything. Often a lack of love in relationships. Social interactions are a strain as you are very sensitive to everything. You are not consciously aware of what you need and this can drive you nuts. But do not take drastic means to fulfil this unknown need else you will get into trouble. There will be unpredictable events in life, random high-lows. But you have a philosophical mindset which will ultimately make sense of all these things.

Rahu in the 10th house is driven to perform. You are on a karmic mission, so take adequate precautions and assess risks before jumping into any project. Avoid taking emotional decisions and do not self-sacrifice too much. You have the ability to endure, persist and follow your life’s desire. You will achieve your dreams but again these will not satisfy nor comfort. You can mobilise people and get things done your way. If the chart is supportive you can be a champion for the poor/ deprived masses and gain a lot of fame and popularity. Politics is a natural profession here. You feel that you are destined for some special purpose. A Rahu supported by auspicious planets especially Jupiter, can take you very high in life. You might get help from your father’s family and also from your bosses, but again there might be hidden costs so be careful. Life after middle age can be highly successful with this Rahu. There is a tendency to sacrifice the 4th house keywords of comfort, personal need, shelter, psychological support, protection etc for what Rahu promises you. However do not neglect these aspects of life else you will not get inner satisfaction and peace. Outer successes will then seem hollow.

However if Rahu in the 10th is incapable of giving auspicious results then he can seriously mess things up. So if he is with or aspected with cruel planets then analyse this chart carefully. Fanaticism, anti-social behaviour can be triggered. A lack judgement, bad company, tendency for mental imbalance, loans, owing money, servitude, underhanded or criminal dealings are possible. At the very least he can affect your professional life and bring disrepute.

ww

Interpreting Rahu Ketu the 4/10 axis is slightly tricky as it has very deep impacts on the mental, emotional as well as the physical bodies. And writing a generic post is even more difficult. So analyse everything systematically in your chart before coming to a conclusion. Then Rahu and Ketu will emphasise their typical results during their Maha Dasha periods and their typical transits. The Rahu-Ketu Antar-Dasha and the Ketu-Rahu Antar-dasha will be specially happening. There will be generally upheaval, unexpected changes, sudden reversals in fortune, unexpected help/ hindrance, luck or bad luck, etc coming your way during the Node-heavy times. The birth horoscope shows the overall life but when these things are to happen are a function of the Dashas. If the appropriate trigger Dasha does not come or comes at an inappropriate time/ situation the result does not occur fully.

Most important is the power of the ascendant sign, the ascendant lord and the birth Moon. If these three are powerful then the personality is strong enough to convert the typical nature of these nodes into opportunities. Historically horoscopes of the realised Guru RamKrishna Parmahansa, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Subhashchandra Bose, John F.Kennedy etc can be studied if you feel like it. And follow the lives of people you know from your study samples (learn astrology systematically).

In summary, the power of Rahu Ketu in the 4/10 has the potential to create extraordinary individuals. How this will happen depends on the rest of the horoscope.

Maam would a rahu moon conjunction in cancer sign in third house have few commonalities of rahu in 4 th house in any sign?

      Hi there
rahu moon in cancer in the 3rd house is a good position and not like rahu in the 4th house of any sign

From several years now, I have had several encounters with people ( mostly women, rarely men) who I would meet in stores, airport, or just in my study/ work place. People I don’t know at all, or barely know, but would come up to me, sit down barely after preliminary intro, start telling me really personal ,uncomfortable , dark, extremely private situation and details about their life which would be bothering them. After talking to me, ( my response is mostly silence and nod at times), they say they felt so much better saying it to me, and felt I was safe to talk to( whatever that means). And again, either I never meet them or even if I do I never bring it up ever. But when it happened dozens of times with strangers, I did ask people I know whether it happened with them, they obviously said no.
Now this is not something I enjoy listening to since the topics are mostly intensely private( that too from strangers and many much older to me) .I was wondering though whether there would be some energy exchange not conducive for me if I allowed this to continue happening. ( of course the pandemic has greatly reduced the chance of such encounters). Should I avoid and very actively discourage this kind of interaction( it’s not something I would miss) .It’s a wierd question, forgive me for that but would appreciate your guidance.

      Hi there
personally i have heard a lot of stuff from others, am an astrologer so goes with it, but i never link up with them or create cords, do my cleansing etc very thoroughly etc.
any interaction is an energy exchange, it does affect something at some level.
if you feel bothered by this you can simply visualise a pearly shield around you, this will ensure that you remain ‘invisible’ on the energy levels, ie specifically a pearly shield as you cannot see the inside of a pearl … with the intention that such people do not find you

        Dear

Thanks for your posts! They are very enlightening. Wish I had read them in 2015. I have been looking for answers since many years, visited many gurus but never got satisfied.

Wanted to connect with you separately (email) as I have a deep need of spiritual evolution but I am stuck somewhere which is painful.

Tejaswini, thank you for the insight of the Rahu/Ketu axis on the 4th and 10th house. It helps to put perspective on life events. When I see posts that directly affect my own horoscope, I give special attention to what is being said. Yes, this 4th / 10th node axis is very difficult. I have Virgo rising with ascendant lord Mercury in the 10th in Gemini. Mercury is close to exact eclipse conjunction with Mercury (inside one degree). Mercury is also retrograde, and Ketu is in slight forward motion (real motion, not mean motion). They are in the same nakshatra too. Sun and Jupiter are also there inside 5 degrees. (They are in the Rahu nakshatra). Mars is with Rahu in the 4th. My life has been a wild ‘up and down roller-coaster’ to say the least, and everything has been centered around my spiritual goals and challenges. And, it all started in my Ketu dasa when I was just 17 years old (I’m 66 now). During my life I traveled to India, joined the Hare Krsna movement and was there for 10 years. I also went to the jungles of Hawaii to practice yoga. I can truly say that I’m a ‘Ketu Man’. Everything in my life seems to come full circle around this subtle planet. As I enter into my Rahu maha dasa next summer, I am actually looking forward to completing my ‘spiritual path’. With me, it’s been a ‘long ride’, but a good one!

Do any of you have any inputs on the hare krishna iskcon movement? Would be nice to hear about other people’s opinions and Tejaswinis’.

I’ve been part of it since I was a kid and slowly in my mid 20s realised it is a misogynistic environment that promotes a LOT of ‘prabhupada says xyz ‘ to justify some sort of action the person is taking in the moment.

Not enough of taking ownership of your actions and offloading mistakes onto some sort of vedic gibberish. I also very much dislike the paragraph in the AS IT IS bhagwat Gita in the first 2-3 pages of when the first shkola starts that implies that women are the downfall of society thus must be kept under father/husband/son throughout her life.

Eager to hear about your input on this.

        Respectfully.

      2. astrologerbydefault Avatar

        Hi there
i read the Bhagvat Gita in Sanskrit and it is the same thing as the Ishwar Gita and the Shiv GIta. and obviously the same thing as the Vedanta.
I prefer reading the Shankar bhashya on the Bhagvat Gita, Vedanta makes most sense to me.
another option is the commentary Pranav-Gita by Swami Pranav-ananda, originally in Bengali and translated into Hindi. I do not understand formal Hindi very well but my brother refers to this work very extensively.
if you wish, read one shlok daily, then take 10mins to find out all possible meanings of the words in it and try to think on what they might mean. it will take a couple of years but it will enrich your understanding on the bhagvat gita. Sanskrit will do its magic.
i have written a few posts on the bhagvat gita in this style.

And about iskon, i have no opinion. if someone likes how they function its their choice. however they way they interpret the Gita is not as per the Vedanta. the test of every philosophy / interpretation/spiritual understanding is that it must be as per the broad outlines of the Vedanta. if it is not, it is not valid.

women are not the downfall of the society. they are the most important asset of the society. if the women are not protected by the father/brother/husband/son, then they become very vulnerable. once the women become vulnerable the society becomes vulnerable. if you want to destroy a society, destroy the women ie values tht the women carry and pass on to the next generation. in one generation the society will collapse.
this doesnt mean that you keep women inside the house or under control. that too will destroy society eventually.

    Dearest Tejaswiniji,

Thanks ever so much♥️. I was almost crying when I read this article. I could relate to it so well. I have Ketu alone in 4th house, aspected by benefic Jupiter in 10th. It has been a spiritual journey for me from feeling unloved, to letting go and accepting the manner of love I have been given, to experiencing God’s love in beautiful ways. And yes, there have been some psychic experiences. What you have written in earlier articles about work in the Astral, I experienced it in my 20s. It is not so much there now.

All that you have written here is so spot-on🎯
I always love the way you write about things that one has to be careful about. This is so great for self-development👍🏻

In the past, I used to be a bit scared of astrology. But after reading your articles, I have started loving all grahas and see my chart as a way towards developing my self.

My mother (she is not an astrologer) says that even if a graha is bad, only half the period of that graha is bad, rest half will be good. Does it work out that way?

I don’t think you have written about Rahu kaalam. Only thing I know is never to begin an activity in Rahu kaalam. Is there anything more to it? If yes, can you please write about it in future?🙏🏻

Please keep writing, you have a gift for writing and teaching ♥️♥️♥️

    Lots of love and gratitude

      Hi there
no graha is bad, they all are your own energy, you cannot be afraid of your own self,
they indicate your choice at birth, they are indicators, if you can interpret their language you can live a more satisfied life, essentally they are all spiritualising agents,
Rahu kalam is more used in south India, but yes its energy can be used for some things, but yes generally its best to avoid it for starting any auspicious and positive work,

        Namaste Tejaswiniji,

Interpreting the language/ message of the planets is what I am learning from your blog, heartfelt thanks🙏🏻♥️ My fear was that what if a graha causes a trauma which is difficult to bear. I find homas helpful. And I love the remedies you have suggested here♥️ Yes, spirituality is a big help in difficult times.

What can Rahu Kaal energy be used for?

For many years I have given free healing (Reiki & other techniques) to others, whenever I am led to it. Mostly they are the ones who have nobody to help them and can’t pay me for it (money was never a motivation in such cases, I did it as an offering of my love). A popular Guru (not mine) says not to give healing to others as the healer might take on the negative karma of the sick person; his idea is that a person is sick because of his karma. My Reiki Master taught me long ago that there should be an exchange of energy while giving reiki healing; she advocated charging money. Most of the reiki healing and other kinds of healing I have given have been to family members, close friends and sick animals/ birds – there was no money or exchange of energy involved.

Am interested to know your views about giving free healing including reiki?

Wishing you and your family a blessed Vaikunth Ekadashi🙏🏻

        Lots of love and gratitude

        Hi there
can energy be balanced only by exchanging money?
you give energy of healing and the other person almost always gives energy of gratitude in return,
however do as your conscience guides you,

i have never charged money for anything related to energy, Jyotish Runes Tarot Reiki this Blog, etc, i have never charged money and never will

This is exactly how I feel. Ketu in 4th is spot on. Plus also a total lack of emotional availability from mother and father. Both acting like im a burden even though not much is demanded from me compared to siblings.

I have a retro jupiter in first and scorpio venus in 7th. Moon in second but then aspected by the remaining planets in the 8th which honestly gives me an extreme shock every 6 months to a year apart.

What is the best approach to handle isolation in general and how to navigate when everything comes at a cost and strings attached ? The whole thing just feels like a god damn bad dream… cannot catch a break at all.

      Hi there
first of all your horoscope should be vedic style using the Lahiri ayanamsha.
read tht post on jupiter and venus mutually aspecting each other.
you have very fixed ideas about things, high ideals and expect others to somehow conform to these ideals, it causes you pain when these people fail to do so, so lower your expectations a bit, you will b happier.. if someone tries to help you even in the tinest manner do try to acknowledge it, but avoid any financial/property etc investments with your siblings/family members.. Gemini moons are in stress right now coz jupiter/saturn in capricorn, 8th from gemini..
do something puja/mantra anything, even for 5 mins, as a daily routine, in the long run this will help you in several ways

Just checked and it seemed to be lahiri.

While the whole jupiter venus isn’t 100% 180 exact , with jupiter at 3° and venus at 14° , it does correlate to the article with disconnect within of what is truly needed in life thus ending and unclear path and hopelessness.

I’ve so far experienced exile from family, inheritance, hatred from family for not following preset path. There has been a separation in marriage after being together for a month (arranged – misrepresentation on husband’s side to gain foreign residency) . So at this point there’s no chance of any joint investments at all and a complete breakdown of trust due to fathers actions undermining livability for me . Legal issues created by father and no support from mother or officials of motherland.

Overall seems to be a very very heavy karmic payoff. And u know what, its okay. Because even then knowing all this and especially with the support of your blog that these are things that maybe I chose to pay off and resolve for my own growth, I am going to work through slowly. And anyone else going through a tough time , please remember, it is temporary, be honest, be fair in your dealings and you will receive some support from the universe.

Dearest T, thankyou for responding. As always you’ve done a winner post again, some days its a very much needed pick me up . Ps- open a section for us to make a donation or something. I feel bad recieveing all this value and not giving something back.

Your words here are confirming to this.

Kindly share your insights for the following…

    1. No kids yet . We are married for almost 8 Years now. My husband always says he doesn’t want any kids.

    2. You wrote .. “On the practical side, there might be ghosts/ hauntings in your residences. ”
Should there be any attention be given to this..? Actually , iam unsure right now , how to
understand this and me as homemaker …should I be mindful of anything in particular w.r.t to this ?

Pranams Tejaswini, gratitude for all that you share. It has helped me tremendously personally. Could you please share about Brahma Vishnu and Shiva energies within us. Sometimes I am very drawn to Vishnu and chant Vishnu mantra and at other times to Shiva…I follow my inner voice but any reason why this happens. Thank you.

      Hi there
I have written several posts on Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma and the deities, you can use the index page to locate these if you wish to read them
      some eg
      http://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/10/18/gayatri-mantra-devi-sarasvati-raja-gun-and-agni/
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2019/07/08/trigun-satva-raja-tama/
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/12/07/ved-vedanta-and-om/

Brahmadev is Raja-gun, Vishnu is Satva-gun, Shankar is Tama-gun, they are equal an interconnected, they are located at the topmost triangle of the Shri-yantra.
ultimately all the deities are the same, you can follow whoever you like but ultimately you will reach OM.
OM is the nearest thing of this universe which can be thought of as a moorti of the Paramtattva. reach OM any way you like and then experience where Om takes you to…

    Namaskar Tejasvini ji!

    (……………… Edit, deleted the personal information…….. ).

My Guru says being Spiritual means; whatever Karma you may have; you just go where you wish to go. And also says, “If you are on spiritual path, your destiny keeps on changing, hence no good astrologer will try to make a prediction. As horoscope is just like a blueprint, the direction in which a particular being goes by default if he doesn’t exercises his will. Spiritual path just fast forwards your life.”

What has been your experience on this? For I believe you are one of the most authentic people out there in this field, of genuine experience.

    Thank You
    Warm Regards

      Hi there
I have no comments on what others say or believe.

      This is my experience.
Everyone is essentially on a spiritual path, every life experience is designed to help you towards your Self in some way or the other, if only you recognise this,

Jyotish will tell you your prarabdha karma. As long as you continue in this body, things will happen as per the chart. It is the choice of your physical birth, it will continue till your physical death. Some of us get more conscious choices during life but that too depends on the chart.
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/02/14/the-dark-and-bright-halves-part-1/
      https://psychologicallyastrology.com/2020/02/15/the-dark-and-bright-halves-part-2/

Even if you get Jivan-mukti, the body you have taken on will follow the prarabhda karma schedule. Prarabdha cannot be changed. Study the charts of realised Guru-s and see that even their body had to go through whatever the chart had indicated. No one is exempt from this.

I have written about this in some post. If you have a powerful 9th house and a overall powerful Dharma trikon then you can, by the power of this house, change some of the negative events in your life by ‘borrowing’ positive energy from your ‘summary self’. This is by the blessings of the Parameshwar 9th house, your own intention 1st house and mantra-siddhi 5th house. Again this is possible because of power of the chart.
This changing is possible to some extent in everyone’s life, so we have the remedy part of astrology. But for changing the events completely, eg avoiding death or debilitating disease etc, I have seen very very rare examples, people with extraordinary 1-5-9 houses.

‘Spiritual’ level is also seen from the horoscope. I have written posts on ‘soul maturity’ and ‘Sudarshan chakra analysis’.

And yes, a competent astrologer will make predictions and they will be accurate, irrespective of you being on the spiritual path or not.

My entire family is does pujas, Dhyan etc my brothers/sisters, husband, son, parents, uncles/aunts, grandparents, all. I have mentioned about my Guru, the entire family is his shishya.
But when the planets indicate something, that event happens.
Eg one of my brothers is suffering a overdose of Rahu and Saturn these days, he was warned well in advance but the planets are making him dance to their tunes. Extreme eg, my grandparents died on the days my Dad had predicted. Two years ago, one of my sisters-in-law died, on the day I had predicted.
If you are born on this earth, your chart shows your prarabdha karma. You have no choice but to follow it. And a competent astrologer will be able to read it.

But there is no need to take my word for it.
      self-experience is the best teacher.
try to learn astrology systematically and create a database of sample charts, follow these people through their lives and find out for yourself.
