At present most of the world is in the grip of the COVID 19 coronavirus in one way or the other. Do read what I have predicted for the world scenario here and on the specific Indian scenario here. India is comparatively in a better place than the rest of the world. Ketu is the moving force behind this viral pandemic.

Rahu and Ketu are the two graha, ie forces, who operate exclusively on the astral planes. They obviously give material effects linked to the planets who feed them energy, ie the owner of the sign they are in, the planets conjunct/ aspecting them etc. It is through these planets and their keywords that Rahu and Ketu can give results in the physical planes. So try to analyse which planets are influencing Rahu/ Ketu during this current coronavirus crisis. Ketu is the agent of apathy, disinterest. He is haze, smoke, the things which are not apparent at the first glance, at the corner of your eyes where you do not wish to see. He is headless, just a body, with snake-like skin, black nails, scary, hypnotic and fiery in nature. He is disease, disaster, despair and death. He causes complete dissociation, a fiery separation, a clean cut. In the senses, he is more the sense of smell. In colors, he represents infra-red, you can sense his heat but cannot see him. He can grant both material prosperity or material adversity and but always grants spiritual gain in some way or the other. He is all extremes, nothing in between. He grants a strange, egoless fanaticism which can be impossible to resist and equally impossible to counter.

If Ketu is influencing things around you, expect situations to be unpredictable, irrational, perverse, unreasonable and also dangerous. Unpredictable Ketu is disorder, you do not know how a flag flapping in the wind will move. So does Ketu move, a banner in the wind. Bizarre, erratic but sublime and beyond all logic. Thus, for some of us, he can grant the ultimate realisation, as Moksh too lies beyond the limits of our perceptions. But for most of us, Ketu is the herald of chaos. And for some of us, of physical death.

Ketu was last seen in Sagittarius 18yrs ago, he was then responsible for ’the war against terror’ which strangely continues as a policy even now. On 11^th Sep 2001, 9/11, the WTO twin towers collapsed, Ketu with Mars was in Sagittarius aspected by Jupiter with Rahu from Gemini.

In Feb 2020 we saw an exponential rise in the COVID 19 coronavirus spread and the same actors operated, Jupiter, Mars, Ketu were together in Sagittarius and Rahu was in Gemini. The same energies expressed in a different manner. ‘Terror’ then was nebulous, just like Ketu, and now in this pandemic he is a virus. All viruses and prions are primarily Ketu’s agents. Again Ketu in Sagittarius is shaking our collective human foundations, severing us from our past concepts in a single fiery cut. Sagittarius sign is the ‘foundation’ in every sense of the word and Gemini is the choice of available options and the boldness to act. Whenever Rahu in Ketu transit in Gemini-Sagittarius they cause chaos in the collective.

Ketu’s method of working is ‘lack of limits’, he does not respect any boundaries whatsoever. He represents events which are beyond the limits of space, time, energy levels etc. On the physical side his virus has done exactly this, crossed across all possible boundaries, national boundaries, species boundaries. Ketu is smoke and penetrates through all. He represents the collective. Irrational with no mercy, Ketu is rather invisible in his actions as he acts more on the subtle and causal bodies. So the inner four layers of this five-layered body you live in are more vulnerable, more hit by his strange imbalance. He is also creating fear, suspicions, horror, obsession etc in the innermost layer of our human collective.

We will pass on these emotions to our next generation and also carry these impressions into our next lives. So everyone must do some spiritual practice at this point of time to nullify this astral baggage clinging to your soul now.

Sadly Ketu is also sadism, torture, amorality, bloodlust, violence, etc. If you look at the real reason behind this virus’s outbreak, it is a single cruel nation which indulges in killing and eating animals, wild and domesticated animals in the most gruesome way possible. 20% of the global humanity is creating such horrible karma and we all are bearing the brunt. This negative karma has affected the entire humanity’s collective psyche. Ketu represents the deepest reservoir of the collective and he contains unpleasant memories of past karma. ‘Ghosts from the past’ is another very apt description of Ketu. He also represents ghosts, spirits and karmic back-log. Ketu though headless, can never forgive or forget instinctively. He is the most vengeful of all the graha, he holds on to grudges for lifetimes.

The coronavirus is an agent of Ketu so we need to use his and Rahu’s energy in getting out its grip. Karma has been served now we have to find ways to come out of it using their energies. Ketu’s lesson is ‘to learn from the past’. And Rahu’s lesson is,’ let go of the past’. One is concerned about the past and the other looks to the future. Only when your past karma is resolved, can you move ahead. Both Rahu and Ketu are important. Our past creates our future through our present. Together these two give us a very valuable message, ‘learn all you can from the past, balance it, then let it go’. All over this is a period of introspection, as medical teams, governments and even common people like you and me rethink on what we were doing and how we can improve.

Ketu gives penetrating intelligence, strange jumps in intuitive reasoning, our medical teams need this now. Intense concentration and deep insight are also Ketu’s gifts. Ketu is limitless, so our medical teams have the scope to go beyond established medical frontiers using his energy. Dispassionate unemotional focus on the target.

Sun will be in Aries 13^th Apr – 14^th May, he and Ketu-Sagittarius will come in the 5/9 axis. Sun is creative genius, authority etc and Ketu is penetrating intelligence. This 5/9 axis is the most important one as it is the genius-foundation axis. As these two, Sun and Ketu will start influencing each other, the medical teams will also receive their combined energy, clarity, constructive actions, courage and self-confidence. Their work will move at faster rates. So will the governments be able to work more decisively.

Finally Mercury will enter Aries on 25^th Apr till 9^th May. This is a very important date as now onwards things will visibly improve the world over. Now Mercury too will come in the 5/9 axis with Sagittarius-Ketu. This combination will give a very big boost to the medical/government teams. Mercury is analytical intelligence, discrimination, adaptability, dexterity so coupled with Sun and in the 5/9 axis with Ketu will give a lot of support to the teams working on the virus.
